A lot of that, of course, is down to Sonic's best friend. It's fair to say that Tails (voiced by Mick Lauer and animated by Zeurel) is one of the most recognisable characters from the Mashed archive. Fans have created art, video game mods, and more based off this version of Miles Prower. Tom and Ben break down the origins of the character on this episode, as well as how they decided to bring him back for There's Something About Amy.Rogue Pixels is the podcast that shares your love of the biggest and best animations online. Listerner discretion is advised.  July 10, 1981, Skidmore, MO - It is estimated that approximately forty people were surrounding the truck of Ken McElroy when he was shot and killed in broad daylight.  Local, state, and federal law enforcement investigated and yet no one saw anything.  What drove the town to this breaking point?  Ken McElroy was known as the town's bully and had been charged with multiple crimes throughout the years but intimidated witnesses or flexed his might in out nefarious ways.  When he was shot, he was set to stand trial again, this time for shooting a 70 year old store clerk.  The town had concerns he would be acquitted in this shooting like he was in a previous shooting a few years prior.  In this week's episode, Tom & Ben examine the case of Ken McElroy and the town that thought “he needed killing”. In this special bonus JSP Blast Episode, we are focusing on the criminal conviction of RaDonda Vaught for criminally negligent homicide and abuse of an impaired adult.  She was convicted in Tennessee on March 25, 2022.  This conviction is the result of a medication error in 2017, when she administered vecuronium, a paralyzing agent, instead of Versed, a sedative.  This resulted in a sentinel event and the patient, Charlene Murphey, died as a result.  Vanderbilt Medical Center failed to report this event to state and federal authorities and two neurologists ruled her death to be natural causes despite the medication error.  Through an anonymous tip, CMS was made aware of the events and inspected Vanderbilt ordering a plan of correction or losing Medicare and Medicaid money.  It was after this, that the DA brought charges against RaDonda Vaught and the Board of Health, who had previously investigated her and found no violation of nurse practice act, reopened an investigation, revoked her license and order penalty monies paid.  The first 20 minutes is Tom & Ben's thoughts on the case as well as a synopsis of the timeline of the case.  We also discuss our thoughts on a nurse being held criminally responsible for a medication error and the impact on healthcare personnel moving forward.  The next 20 minutes is our interview with Nurse Liz.  She has been vocal about the case throughout her well known social media channels and we appreciated the opportunity to get her thoughts.  We discuss the impact of the criminal case moving forward as well as alarm fatigue and Liz gives some advice to nurses and healthcare personnel moving forward. Liz can be found on facebook @im.nurse.liz on instragram @im.nurse.liz on youtube @im.nurse.liz and TikTok @im.nurse.liz The final 20 minutes is our interview with Tina from Good Nurse Bad Nurse.  Tina has covered this case for the last 3 years including several interviews with RaDonda and Tina was personally at the trial for the three days of testimony.  We discuss the impact of the verdict on healthcare in general and we discuss the current DA Glenn Funk as well as his opponent this election cycle, Sara Beth Myers.  Finally, Tina gives some advice for nurses moving forward. There’s a whole lot of pivoting going on in the food industry these days as retail operators tackle supply chain challenges and foodservice operators try to stay afloat. We’ve all heard that the global pandemic is driving radical shifts in consumer shopping behavior. Euromonitor International, a leading provider of global strategic marketing intelligence, said the pandemic has spurred unprecedented levels of channel shift among consumer spending habits, and these shifts have pushed companies across industries to make significant operational adaptations to meet new consumer demands. MEAT+POULTRY listened in to the Consumer Federation of America’s Virtual National Food Policy Conference held in July. Featured in a panel discussion of how COVID-19 is changing the US food system were Tom Bené, president and chief executive officer of the National Restaurant Association and Leslie Sarasin, president and CEO of FMI: The Food Industry Association who spoke about how their members are faring as the pandemic drags on.
