It's Tuesday, December 26th, A.D. 2023. This is The Worldview in 5 Minutes heard at www.TheWorldview.com. I'm Adam McManus. (Adam@TheWorldview.com) By Kevin Swanson Ugandan Christians jailed for evangelism Morning Star News reports that two Christians were jailed for evangelizing in eastern Uganda, Africa. After three days of evangelism in a higher concentration-Muslim area in the city of Soroti, Joseph Omadi and Isaac Napakol were chased by a mob, and then arrested by police. At issue is Uganda's penal code act which criminalizes “writing or uttering words with the intent to wound religious feelings.” The language is imprecise and may be used to violate freedom of speech in the country. U.S. retaliates in Iraq after three US troops wounded in attack After three U.S. service men were wounded in a drone attack in northern Iraq, America retaliated with three targeted attacks on terrorist facilities in Iraq Monday, reports Reuters. The facilities are run by Iranian-backed militia, Kataib Hezbollah, and affiliated groups. Gaza Hospital announces 209 injured, 131 dead on Christmas The Israeli-Hamas War continued on Christmas Day. Doctors without Borders reported that a Gaza Strip-area hospital, al Aqsa hospital, admitted 209 injured and 131 dead. USA Today quotes Bethlehem Mayor Hana Haniyeh who said, “Our message every year on Christmas is one of peace and love, but this year it's a message of sadness, grief and anger in front of the international community with what is happening and going on in the Gaza Strip.” And the Roman Catholic Pope Francis took the opportunity to express his grief over what he called the “abominable attack” of Hamas on October 7. He called for the release of hostages and an end to Israel's military campaign in Gaza. King Charles' Christmas message King Charles III brought a Christmas message yesterday — in the tradition of his mother, Queen Elizabeth II. He spoke of Christ exemplifying love for neighbors, offering shelter to others, and stressed the importance of protecting the Earth and “our natural world” including animals. Listen. KING CHARLES III: “Service to others is but one way of honoring the whole of creation, which, after all, is a manifestation of the Divine. This is a belief shared by all religions. To care for this creation is a responsibility owned by people of all faiths and of none. We care for the Earth, for the sake of our children's children. “During my lifetime, I've been so pleased to see a growing awareness of how we must protect the Earth and our natural world as the one home which we all share. I find great inspiration now from the way so many people recognize this, as does the Christmas story, which tells us that angels brought the message of hope first to shepherds. These were people who lived simply amongst others of God's creatures. Those close to nature were privileged that night.” (You can see the transcript here) His great-grandfather, George V, began the tradition of the Christmas Message to the commonwealth back in the 1930s. Queen Elizabeth II carried on the tradition from the time of her coronation in 1952. While she mentioned the words of Jesus as the “bedrock” of her faith, the messages typically have not reflected the real reason why Jesus came. Matthew 1:21 says, “You shall call His name Jesus, for He shall save His people from their sins.” 1 John 3:8b explains that Christ came to destroy the works of the devil, and, as Hebrews 2:14 notes, to destroy the one who has the power of death, that is the devil. In addition, Mark 10:45 says Christ came to give His life as a ransom for many and Luke 4:18-19 explains that He came to proclaim good news to the poor, to proclaim liberty to the captives, the recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty those who are oppressed, and to proclaim the year of the Lord's favor. Contrast between Christmas messages of Biden and Trump President Joe Biden took to social media with a written Christmas message. He wrote “take a few moments of quiet reflection and find that stillness that's at the center of the Christmas story. May you find peace in this silent night. And warmth from those surrounding you.” Former President Donald Trump was far more explicit in his Christmas message to the nation, reports Newsweek. Listen. TRUMP: “More than 2,000 years ago God sent His only begotten Son to be with us. An angel announced the birth of our Lord and Savior to humble shepherds. He said, ‘I bring you good news that will cause great joy for all of the people. Today, in the town of David, a Savior has been born to you. He is the Messiah, the Lord. You will find a baby wrapped in cloths and lying in a manger.' At Christmas, we thank God for sending us His Son to bring peace to our souls and joy to the world.” Home mortgage rates dropped According to Freddie Mac's Primary Mortgage Market Survey, home mortgage rates are down again — lowered this week to 6.67% down from 6.95% last week. That's down from 7.79% in October. Prices for homes remain high in the U.S. The inventory of homes on the market is 34% below where it was before the pandemic. Existing home sales in November registered 7.3% lower than November of 2022. The median sales price was $387,600 — 4% higher than a year ago. Focus on Christ and need for salvation And finally, from all of us at Generations and The Worldview newscast team, we wish you a blessed Christmas season, always remembering and rejoicing in the coming of Jesus Christ, and our need for His salvation. Rant and Rave take you through the Trump / Georgia phony indictment. Trump now faces 4 indictments, and 700 years in prison. Why does the Deep State want him gone so badly?? Because he plans to expose EVERYTHING, from JFK to Epstein. The Libs strategy is backfiring. They are making Trump MORE popular with all groups with every indictment. His enemies have turned him into a martyr. His Tucker interview garnered 250 mm views and counting, while only 10 mm watch the debate between the Keebler Elves on Fox. Much like Washington and Lincoln in their early days, divisiveness preceded Americans coming together, once they woke up to what was really at stake. Their freedom.

It's Tuesday, December 27th, A.D. 2022. This The Worldview in 5 Minutes heard at www.TheWorldview.com. I'm Adam McManus. (Adam@TheWorldview.com) By Kevin Swanson Indonesian Grinch tried to steal Christmas The Grinch showed up on Java Island in Indonesia over the weekend. Christmas celebrations were effectively banned in the Maja district, by one high-level official, the head of Lebak Regency, Iti Octavia Jayabaya, reports Morning Star News. She told Christians they would have to hold their celebrations in another district, some 12 miles away. The area is made up of 1% Christians, and the rest are predominately Muslim. According to Open Doors, Indonesia is the 28th worst country in the world for the persecution of Christians. Nigerian Muslims killed 46 Christians Muslim extremists killed another 46 Christians on raids on Christian churches in four Nigerian villages a week before Christmas. Meanwhile, the Biden administration has steadfastly supported the Nigerian government through some of the worst persecutions in Africa's history. Plus, the U.S. has excluded Nigeria from its religious freedom violations list of “countries of particular concern” for two years now. The Catholic News Agency noted that President Biden welcomed Nigerian President Muhammadu Buhari to the White House two weeks ago, despite the ongoing bloodshed, forced abortions reportedly implemented by the Nigerian military, and other atrocities tolerated by the government. Yakubu Kundi, a Nigerian bishop, has denounced “a deliberate plan to unleash evil” on Christian villagers. Proverbs 24:24-25 speaks to this. “He who says to the wicked, ‘You are righteous,' him the people will curse; Nations will abhor him. But those who rebuke the wicked will have delight, and a good blessing will come upon them.” Biden omitted the name of Jesus in Christmas message It's somewhat unusual for American presidents, but President Biden did not mention the name Jesus in his Christmas message to the nation this year. He spoke of the Muslims, Hindus, and other religions, and noted that Christians believe the child in the manger was the son of God. Listen. BIDEN: “How silently, how silently the wondrous gift is given. There's a certain stillness at the center of the Christmas story. Silent night. When all the world goes quiet. And all the glamour, all the noise, everything that divides us, everything that pits us against one another. “Everything that seems so important really isn't. It all fades away in the stillness, in the winter's evening. And we look to the sky, to a lone star, shining bright then all the rest, guiding us to the birth of a child, a child Christians believe to be the Son of God.” By contrast, in President Donald Trump's 2020 Christmas address, he noted that Christmas was a time to “celebrate the birth of our Savior, Jesus Christ.” TRUMP: “More than 2000 years ago, the angel Gabriel appeared to Mary he said, ‘Do not be afraid you have found favor with God.' The angel told her that ‘you would give birth to a baby boy, Jesus, who would be called the Son of the Most High.' Nine months later, Christ was born in the town of Bethlehem. The Son of God came into the world in a humble stable. “As Christians everywhere know, the birth of our Lord and Savior changed history forever. At Christmas, we give thanks to God, and that God sent His only Son to die for us and to offer everlasting peace to all humanity.” And, in President Obama's 2015 Christmas address, he told everybody, that “our family celebrates the birth of Jesus and the values He lived in His own life.” Snowstorms killed 55 people nationally The Christmas storm of 2022 will go down into history as one of the most severe snowstorms ever. At least 57 people are reported dead nationwide, reports NBC News. New York was hit the hardest, where 25 persons, who were made in the image of God, have lost their lives. New York State police were involved in at least 500 rescues — a state that received up to 43 inches of snow. Most of the victims were found in or around stranded cars. Residents in Buffalo, New York may still remember the great blizzard of 1977, which resulted in 29 reported deaths. Olympic Committee committed to men competing against women The International Olympic Committee has issued a new set of transgender guidelines, which still allows for participation of men, who are pretending to be women, in women's sports competitions. While encouraging the typical modern moralisms of “inclusion,” the “prevention of harm,” “non-discrimination,” “fairness,” “no presumption of advantage,” and the “primacy of health and bodily autonomy,” the committee will leave the final decision to the governing body of each sport. American life expectancy dropped The Centers for Disease Control has released numbers for life expectancy in the U.S. Sadly, the government recorded another drop of over half a year from 2020 to 2021 for males and females, reports Forbes. Males now average 73.5 years, down from 76.3 years in 2019. That's a three-year loss in two years. Females have dropped off from 81.4 to 79.3. That's a 2.1-year loss in two years. Moses' estimate for longevity from Psalm 90:10-12 will not need to be adjusted much after 3,400 years of human history — despite medical improvements. He wrote, “The days of our lives are seventy years; and if by reason of strength they are eighty years, yet their boast is only labor and sorrow; for it is soon cut off, and we fly away. Who knows the power of Your anger? For as the fear of You, so is Your wrath. So, teach us to number our days, that we may gain a heart of wisdom.” Canadian scientists discovered two more of God's minerals And finally, scientists from the University of Alberta have discovered two more minerals God created, in a meteorite that dropped on Somalia — discovered in 2020. The 15-ton meteorite is the ninth largest found on Earth. The researchers have named the newly discovered minerals Elaliite and Elkinstantonite. There are about 2,000 known minerals on Earth. The following is a rough summary of the Calvert’s Crossing podcast on Donald Trump, tune in to the podcast to enjoy all the snark and humor that hasn’t been included in the transcript below. All about our 45th president Mr. Donald J. Trump More people are paying attention to politics now that Trump is president, so all publicity is good publicity right? Since Trump has been in office there has been a rise in activism and our economy has done better. Of course I don’t know that you can attribute the economy shift to Trump. I’ve heard that you don’t feel the effects of the work of the former president for a year or two so is it possible that these are the ripples of President Obama? For instance, the new tax reform bill, even though it starts this year you won’t see the effects of it until the end of 2018. So when Donald Trump ran I thought it was a joke, you know the one guy who is a wizard and promises everyone a dragon…..Then he won the party nomination. So at first I was inspired because this guy had no political background, and I thought wow, anyone can do this! So I think most Donald Trump supporters were duped. I think he was running on this, “I’m different than the government than you’re used to, all about blue collar workers, all about jobs” then half the shit he says is just crazy and the policies he puts on the table just don’t come from him. Nowadays we can’t look at our president and say he is presidential, in a crisis this is the leader we look to. For example if you remember the Cuban missile crisis, say we had something like that and we want the president to put our mind at ease, we’d have to follow him on Twitter to do that! If you’re a still Trump supporter after all that has happened in this new presidency then you are the problem because you are supporting someone who has shown that he is not capable of being a president for the United States. We don’t want to alienate Trump supporters but we want you to check your facts. Trump has made over 2,001 completely misleading statements in 355 days. #alternativefacts It’s important to use critical thinking rather than jumping on the bandwagon. We’ve moved from opinions to facts. The last instance where Trump called certain countries “shithole” countries, this is at the most a racist thing to say and at the least it’s in bad taste. The president speaks for all Americans; he’s the face of the entire country and should be using more tact. Trump does his communication via Twitter which is one of the worst ways to communicate an important message with the people. Especially if you’re mocking another country with nukes. If you are able to access the internet or go out and fact check yourself you’d find that 99% of what the media says he said he really said! Why didn’t I know about alternative facts in high school?! I could have used that. So more people are starting to get involved in politics now and trying to get the Democrats elected into the House. For all of the impeach Trump fans, have you looked at the Vice President who would take over if Trump was out? Can we grin and bear it for 3 more years? Maybe with all of this buffoonery going on we can come together now and talk about remember when … love and peace man.

A criminal is just gonna let you see their stuff? They'll just delete it, set up fake accounts, etc. It's not like popping the trunk for a thief and finding lock picks and guns in the boot: with digital crime tools and weapons, you can hide and subterfuge.
