This is the final episode of the Complete RCA Victor Recordings of Benny Goodman. I am going to start with a few numbers from Volume Six and then most of the recordings are from Volume Seven during the year of 1938 and we'll wind up with a few recordings from Volume Eight in the year of 1939. Volume Eight was mainly unissued recordings and retakes. Also, I have an interview that the author of the liner notes had with Benny in 1980. This series has been a labor of love for me because the Benny Goodman Orchestra was the first big band that I ever listened to. I was fortunate to see Benny in person when he brought his sextet to the city I was living in in 1978. I hope you enjoy this last epison of the complete RCA Victor recordings of Benny Goodman 1935 - 1939. Please visit this podcast at http://bigbandbashfm.blogspot.com

[Warning] This episode contains explicit language and explicit themes. Listener discretion is advised. The franchise has entered Danny's favorite era. When he reflects and thinks back on his time with this series and what it meant for him it's these next three novels that he thinks about the most. For some the return to the school setting will prove to be detrimental to a series that felt and read like something out of the Japanese cultural norm, but to Danny, and he thinks to a larger audience, that is the exact reason Rifujin makes his franchise so much fun. Volume eight challenges the norm of the light novel industry and because of its unorthodox writing style and attention to nuance and details for character growth and world building, Danny gets to have some fun with exploring what makes this franchise so magical. That isn't to say that there isn't something wrong with it. It's been a while since Danny has read this entry and with a fresh perspective he does see more of its faults. Nevertheless, come listen in as Danny gets to talk about one of his favorite light novels from one of his favorite franchises. ~Follow all the Legionaries on Twitter~ Danny: twitter.com/legionsarchive The Tsar: twitter.com/TsarAlexander6 Allen: twitter.com/blkydpease Spangar: twitter.com/LSFspangar ~Credits~ Original Soundcloud image prodivided by Seven Seas Entertainment at: https://sevenseasentertainment.com/books/mushoku-tensei-jobless-reincarnation-light-novel-vol-8/ Original Cover Art owned by Rifujin no Magonote, Shirotaka, KC Fabellon, Seven Seas Entertainment, and Kadokawa INC. And of course which people, places and objects have impacted his thinking! In What Were You Thinking, former political advisor Laura Round speaks to politicians, opinion formers and business leaders to find out about the experiences, people and places that have inspired them. [Warning] This episode contains explicit language and explicit themes. Listener discretion is advised. With an expanding cast, the story is expanding too. This can be a good or a bad thing and in the eighth novel of a Japanese light novel series with a major secret still being kept, Danny covers those positives and negatives. Using his signature character analysis style, Danny goes through the new paths the characters face in volume eight. He's especially serious with his two favorites: Miyako and Haruto. There's also major development in the tightly kept secret, and things are looking up for the young author when is maturity shines. Come join Danny as he continues through one of his favorite slice-of-life romcoms. ~Follow all the Legionaries on Twitter~ Danny: twitter.com/legionsarchive The Tsar: twitter.com/TsarAlexander6 Allen: twitter.com/blkydpease Spangar: twitter.com/LSFspangar ~Credits~ Original Sound Cloud image taken from Yen-Press at: https://yenpress.com/9781975316433/a-sisters-all-you-need-vol-8-light-novel/ Original Cover Art owned by Shogakukan, Yen Press, Kantoku, and Hirasaka Yomi. In addition to leading the 1972 World Series champion A's in home runs, Mike played for arguably the greatest hitter of all-time, Ted Williams…Using what he learned from his career and from Ted Williams, Mike built a system to identify and fix swing faults. Mike received the only letter of recommendation for hitting instruction Ted Williams ever gave out…After working closely with Mike to learn the craft of teaching hitting, Epstein Hitting is now led by Jake Epstein…Jake has perfected the use of video analysis to create a plan to maximize a player's swing. Thank you for tuning in to this week's episode! We are continuing our journey through the most common alternative theories to the biblical account of the resurrection of Jesus Christ, and this week's is one of the more entertaining theories out there. Was Jesus an alien from outer space come to Earth to establish a religious following before returning to His home planet? Is Christianity just an alien worshiping cult started by a member of an extraterrestrial species that we no nothing about? Obviously not, but find out why some people believe this to be the case and exactly how they are wrong by tuning in to this week's episode of The Theologyst Podcast! On episode 134 of SOMEWHERE IN THE SKIES, we hear from four witnesses who had UFO or close encounter experiences dropped in to their laps that changed them forever. From a strange being peering in to the home of an individual to accounts of boomerang-shaped craft and missing time. A mother reads us a letter from her daughter who had her life changed over night with a singular UFO experience. And a trio of sightings leaves one former police officer on a lifelong journey to find answers. It's all here and all told from the mouthes of those who experienced it. This is another very personal and powerful volume of witness accounts. Special thanks to those who contributed their stories to this episode. Welcome to the eighth episode of Drokk!, as Graeme McMillan and Jeff Lester try to ride out the time paradoxes of reading Volume Eight of Judge Dredd: The Complete Casefiles! John Wagner, Alan Grant, Steve Dillon, Ron Smith, Ian Gibson, Kim Raymond, and Brett Ewins deliver an unexpected nadir in their tales of Mega-City One and its most prominent lawman as a mega-prog derails, a Cursed Earth adventure feels little more than cursed, and The Hell Street Blues prove not to be nearly as terrifying as the We Have Seen It All Before Blues! Sure, there is still Sunday Night Fever, and the amazing triptych of Question of Judgement, Error of Judgement, and A Case For Treatment but suddenly the series that could not put a blocky booted foot wrong cannot seem to get anything right. Why? And how? Join us as we dig in and try to answer! This week, Dan and Merlin talk about weather as a thing and giving up on Cash's dumb iPad problem. This leads to discussion about the risks, opportunities, and frustrations of having lots of data in different places (probably). The main topic this week is an exploration of TickTick. Neat app. They also almost talk about Black Panther.

So not many of you know that sometimes DJ Mickey isn't just about a fat sound, with meaty vocals but sometimes his house style can get a little dirty. Here is the latest mix that certainly shows another side to Mickey that with Mickey's fun uplifting vocals starting you off building up into some meaty circuit vocals that just get a little filthy.

Free to all!Help students make more thoughtful choices about how to study and learn (face-to-face and online): Reasons, strategies, and resourcesDate: May 1, 2015Time: 2:00 PM ETPresenters: Steve Gilbert & Beth Dailey, TLT Group, Douglas Eder, Emeritus, Southern Illinois University, EdwardsvilleSaundra McGuire - Ret.) Assistant Vice Chancellor & Professor of Chemistry Director Emerita, Center for Academic Success Louisiana State UniversityRegister HereWhy should students understand more about their own options for studying and learning? How can they take more responsibility for their own learning? How can faculty enable students to make more effective choices about their own learning? McGuire and Eder will describe how undergraduate students can improve their own learning rapidly and significantly in most courses (both face-to-face and online) by using strategies such as:A. Teaching students to apply Bloom's Taxonomy and PARSA Study Cycle in specific courses - and more widelyB. Assessing students' engagement with course activities and content Other colleagues will share specific Low-Threshold Activities/Apps/Assessments (LTAs) and Classroom Assessment Techniques (CATs) that can be used to support such strategies by faculty and/or directly by students to improve student learning in a variety of courses. In FridayLive! in March we revisited Chickering and Gamson's "Seven Principles for Good Practice in Undergraduate Education" and Ehrmann's article, "Implementing the Seven Principles: Technology as Lever." Metacognition was the most frequent suggestion for an extension of the original Seven Principles. Teaching undergraduate students to use Bloom's Taxonomy to make better decisions about their own studying and learning is a strategy of metacognition. Up-coming FridayLive!
