Xwater, Jaku, and GrandPooBear are here to bring you the news. This week with much less GTA RP talk. Xwater finally watched all of the Marvel movies, and was impressed. Are you a fan? Is it worth the commitment? They also talk about Twitch Town. Would it be feasible to make a whole town just for streamers? How much would it cost, and is there a viable way to do it? Twitch's voting API is finally getting released to developers. Jaku is excited to get to work on it. You know that means there will be crazy stuff coming soon. WE NOW HAVE A PATREON! All the boys are back this week to talk more about GTA Role Play. But, we have some actual news this week too. Xwater has been called on as a judge for the Canadian Game Awards. He's been doing a lot of research on the best games of the year, and maybe we will hear some of his spoilers. Lastly, Mario 35 and the Mario Maker 1 bookmark site are both dead. Nintendo has shown that their old content is dead to them. How long will they hold on to Maker 2? WE NOW HAVE A PATREON! Jaku, Xwater, and GrandPooBear are here with some news. They start off with some computer talk. Jaku is the resident expert, so listen to what he has to say. Nintendo is slowly dropping Switch Pro hints, and we give out takes on it. Lastly, our Hot Take is from Jaku. Ikea won't be delivering his smart blinds when they said they will. He's going to have to wait a couple of extra days. Do you think it's a big deal for shipping to be delayed? Is it just the way it is? Leave a 5 star review and tell us what you think. Jaku, Xwater, and Poo are here to actually talk about the news! First they talk about Project Triangle Strategy. It looks like Octopath Tactics. They're all pretty excited about it, even though it's not too dissimilar from Fire Emblem, which no one likes. Then they get into the Nintendo Direct. While it didn't have anything mind blowing, it did have a lot of interesting projects happening. Hopefully soon we'll hear about the big franchises. There is a Hot Take about big daddy Amazon. They were running anti-union ads on Twitch. When they got called out on it, they took them down, but we all know that they weren't removed because they didn't want to run them anymore. Amazon, don't be evil! Save the date of March 5th. Warp World will be doing a Tech Talk on Twitch talking about all of their services. This month it will be about 1up Coin, how to use it, and why it's awesome. This will become a regular thing, so stay tuned for more information. WE NOW HAVE A PATREON! Jaku and Xwater are joined by their streamer friend, Kate. https://www.twitch.tv/kate Xwater finally got his damage-less 3d Mario marathon. The Cyberpunk 2077 source code was stolen and threatened to be leaked. But, this week's Hot Take is big. PogChamp of the day will be removed and replaced by a PogChamp Battle Royale. GrandPooBear, Jaku, and Xwater are here to give the people what they want: A great time palling around. They talk about their Rust and Minecraft servers for a bit. The whole crew is here again! Poo and Jaku spend a lot of time talking about their Rust adventures. There's a little bit of Twitch Rivals news. In a Warzone tournament, the team of METZY_B, kyrptic_j0ker, and Unifyz were accused of cheating. The event was paused, and they were disqualified. Will Twitch ban them, as precedent, or let it slide, because they are Twitch. There is also a Hot Take involving the group's Minecraft server. Is doign evil against evil still evil? Was it ok to destroy Feeny's evil egg launcher that was attacking Xwater's base? WE NOW HAVE A PATREON! Jaku and Xwater are here with Super Guest Host: GrandPooBear. The gang is all together for a great cast, talking a lot about the lives of the hosts. A little bit of news was discussed though. Jaku and Xwater are doing duo queue tonight with no guest in sight. The Game Awards happened this week. There were a ton of game trailers, Sephiroth was announced for Smash, and a bunch new games were shown. The Game Of The Year was announced to very few people's surprise, The Last of Us 2. How did you find the award show? Did your favorite games win? Twitch updated their TOS for Hateful Conduct and Harassment. It goes into effect next month, and will change (hopefully for the better) the way harassment is handled towards streamers. This week's Hot Take is about a game that we thought might not have actually ever been in development, Cyberpunk 2077. On consoles it has a ton of bugs, on PC it's crashing. For a game that has been in development for this long, they've got a lot of problems. WE NOW HAVE A PATREON! Cliffy was mentioned last week, but now he's joined Jaku and Xwater to bring you the news of the week. Nintendo released a new patch for the Switch: Version 11.0. It includes a lot of cloud save, backup, and general data transfer options. These are things that should have been out at launch, but better late than never. Twitch announced the new Boost this Stream feature that lets you use channel points to try and get your favorite streamer some cool benefits by getting them ways to be more noticeable. There's not a lot of info to know how it's going to work with big streams vs small streams, but we're hopeful they do something cool with it. Dr. Doggo: Enter the Glitch is out at: warpworld.itch.io Twitch Chat helped create this game, and now you can get it for free. It's built from the ground up for Crowd Control, so you know it's going to be good. Valve has been working on Team Fortress 2 and Counter Strike: Global Offensive updates, and people are pretty excited. Will they only keep updating old games like this, or are they working on something new? This week's Hot Take may be the hottest one yet. Google has announced Crowd Choice and Crowd Play. Why is that getting us hot? Because it's a direct copy of Crowd Control and Multi-Queue, but for the Stadia. We'd be really upset if the Stadia was going to last, but we all know it won't. Xwater is a former programmer turned full time Twitch streamer. He streams all kinds of games mostly Nintendo ones. He is also host of a Podcast called Warp World. We talked a lot about the world of streaming as well as other businesses he's part of.
authorblues has joined Jaku and Xwater for the news. Glitchcon just happened. It was pretty great, but the best part was how much of Glitchcon used Warp World. Are we becoming integral to Twitch? Multiplayer ads have been announced for Twitch. Viewers will be able to watch the same ads together and have an interactive poll about it. Will this be the new big thing, or just another annoyance for the viewer? We have a new segment: This Week's Villain. Nintendo has been up to no good again. They filed a cease and desist order against The Big House, a giant Smash Bros tournament. They are also filing DMCA take-downs on Twitch to people playing Age of Calamity early, even though the game is released in some parts of the world. They have also announced some changes to how islands can be used for brands in Animal Crossing. Why do they keep treating the people that love their products with disdain? We talk about this year's Game of the Year nominees. They're all good, but is this even a good year for games compared to years past? This week's Hot Take is a bit weird. During Twitch Rivals, xQc was stream sniping his opponents in Fall Guys. GrandPooBear was on his team, and most of that team has been banned from Twitch Rivals for 6 months and suspended on Twitch for a week. Is that too hard a penalty, or not harsh enough? Jirard The Completionist has arrived to give you the news with Xwater and Jaku. There's a lot of talk about the new Xbox and PlayStation consoles. Who will win this generation? Were you able to get either, or both? The Switch is setup to be the console everyone has, but then people choose either the Xbox or the Playstation, but not both. Our Hot Take this seek should not be a surprise. We talk AGAIN about Twitch DMCAs. We don't know what's going on with Twitch, but they need to get their stuff together. Streamers need to know what the rules are, and there needs to be more transparency in all of this. WE NOW HAVE A PATREON! Feff joins Xwater and Jaku this week to bring us a some leaks and just generaly weird news. Capcom has been attacked with ransomware, and are being extorted for $11 million. Never negotiate with terrorists! Hopefully they can get through this with as little damage as possible. The Watch Dogs Legion source code was leaked. They had been threatened with this before, and told to release the game early, but they didn't. The threat came to fruition though. Sega sold 81% of Sega Entertainment, the arcade division, so another company, Genda. This shouldn't effect Sonic, or the franchises we love, but it's mostly due to covid-19. It's hitting everyone pretty hard. Twitch has taken a stand against uBlock Origin. If you use it, Twitch is restricting your stream to 480p. Is this the way you stand up to adblockers? Or, does it just push people to leave your site? This week's Hot Take is about Pokimane. She has decided to limit the maximum donation you can make to $5. She one of the platforms top streamers, and has decided she doesn't need more than what she's getting. It's a cool move, but what does that mean for other streamers? WE NOW HAVE A PATREON! The Dragon Feeney joins Xwater and Jaku to bring you the news of the week. Twitch's latest feature is an unban request. Now, when you ban someone, they can message you to request it be removed. But, doesn't that just give the worst people another way to harass you? AMD showed off more RX 6000 benchmarks, and it's looking strong. Will AMD push Nvidia off out of first place? Nintendo dropped another Partner Direct on us out of nowhere. It had some interesting games, but ended with more info on Age of Calamity. This game is looking great, and it even has a demo out, so you can play it for yourself. Cyberpunk 2077 was delayed again. It seems that it's an issue with one of the ports, but all versions of the game must release simultaneously. So, we're out of luck. People are flipping out, but don't worry, it will release. Wouldn't you rather it be the best game it can be? Or do you want Duke Nukem Forever? This week's Hot Take is about Twitch's DMCA problems. But, not how you think. RIAA has sent a legal challenge to Twitch about users streaming unlicensed music. Allegedly, Twitch didn't follow the rules laid out, and are now facing a court battle. This is such a murky situation, but if Amazon can't figure out how to handle it properly, how are individual streamers supposed to be able to? This is a big mess, and it will probably be fought over for years until they figure out some sort of compromise. WE NOW HAVE A PATREON! ProximitySound joins Jaku and Xwater to bring you this week's gaming news. Stardew Valley got a splitscreen coop update. Indie devs are making their games worth more and more, which means their next games coming out will be snatched up instantly. 2k is giving players of the new NBA 2k game, that costs $60, unskippable ads that play during the game. If you're as appalled as we are, don't give them your money. Frost Giant Studios is a new company founded by former Blizzard devs who worked on Starcraft 2, Warcraft 3, and many other RTS games. Can they bring back the genre? Z Event had it's 5th yearly event last week. It's a gaming charity event similar to GDQ. They raised €3,510,682 and broke the former record for money raised for charity by a gaming event. Will GDQ be able to match that kind of a performance? Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez streamed Among Us with Disguised Toast and other popular streamers, and had over 400,000 concurrent viewers. She's bridging the gap of politician and constituent. Will this be enough to get the younger crowd to vote? We have two hot takes this week. The first one is Twitch's new DMCA rules. They're not giving people a chance to fight it, and are assessing everyone with a warning. It's very unfair to give people a warning for something without allowing them to fight it. Maybe they actually did nothing wrong, but still have that on their permanent record with Twitch. Not Cool. You might think that took the cake for the week. Nope. Alex Hutchinson, one of the devs for the FAILED Google Stadia, tweeted that streamers should pay devs to stream their games. Some opinions are wrong, and this is one of them. Let us know what games you make, because we will make sure not to stream them. WE NOW HAVE A PATREON! Poo may be gone, but Jaku and Xwater are joined this week by DGR Dave. Microsoft has really stepped up lately. They said that 360 owners will get free cloud save transfers to Series X. If they keep releasing things like this, there will be a real battle on which console is the best of the generation. Countering Microsoft, the Playstation 5 backwards compatibility list has been released. It's got nearly every game on it. The PS5 will have a very strong library of games starting out. Analogue, the makers of the SuperNT had a mystery announcement, but using the power of editing, we now know they are releasing a TurboGrafx console that will allow you to play games from some of the most commonly ignored systems. We have a real Hot Take this week. Sony's PS5 will allow you to report voice chatters using recordings of from the voice chat system. It will keep records of the last 5+ minutes and allow you to report segments of it. Is this breaking the law in some states? Is this a good thing? What do you think? WE NOW HAVE A PATREON! This week Xwater and Jaku are joined by an oldie, but a goodie: GrandKeys. They catch up, talk about Key's life, and just get back into the groove. Fall Guys got a Season 2 update, and Ghosts of Tsushima is due for one this week. Fall Guys might have missed the mark a bit by not adding enough. Ghosts of Tsushima on the other hand is blowing us away with the amount of content that's being added. We have a Hot Take on Twitch advertising, again. Twitch Staff has been donating pennies in bits tricking streamers into shouting out brand names without actual compensation. Our Hot Take is, don't cheat the system. Just pay for the advertisement. The crew are back to give you the news. Steve from Minecraft is heading into Smash Ultimate. That's great! Unless you're a Smash player, and then you're probably pissed. For some reason, everyone is up in arms about Steve. It's not that big of a deal. The next fighter might be more to your liking. You can't deny the popularity of Minecraft though. Mario 35 is out, and people have been playing it a lot. It's a great game, but will they do more with it? In March, will they take it down, and make a Mario 3 version? Mario 3d All Stars is a great way to play a few games that haven't been re-released in a while. It could have used a lot of improvements, and Xwater is here to tell you about how awesome the blue coins in Sunshine are. Spoilers: they're not. We can't tell you why, but Poo is going to be off the podcast until the end of the year because of a secret project he's working on. We'll update you when we can. WE NOW HAVE A PATREON! GrandPooBear is busy playing Fall Guys (really.) So Jaku and Xwater are picking up the slack. Microsoft had an Xbox price leak and ended up posting their prices online. $300 for digital only and $500 for the slightly better version with a disk drive. Fortnite is getting a custom Switch. But, it's only in certain countries. Is this the way a way for Epic to battle Apple and the Play Store? You thought that Nintendo was done for the year? NOPE! Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity is coming out this year. They may even have more in store for us. Scott Pilgrim vs. the World: The Game was a decent game. But it was infamous for being removed from all digital stores for many years. Finally, it's back. Will it be a blockbuster hit, or did it even matter to begin with? Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time is also getting a remake. Maybe that means they'll be bringing the series back. Our Hot Take this week is on Fall Guys. It's a great game, but there are TOO many tournaments for it! Too much of a good thing can lead to burnout. Let's keep this game going, or Fortnite will be kind again. WE NOW HAVE A PATREON! GrandPooBear and Xwater are here with the news of the week. Mario's 35th anniversary is now, and they're not holding back. 3d Mario All Stars is big. Mario 35, the new Mario Battle Royale is huge. IRL Mario Kart? Yes please! Keep hitting us with these bangers and the Switch will stay the king. Nvidia just hit us with their new video cards, and wow. They've made a lot of cards obsolete, but they're being fairly reasonable with the new card's prices. Is AMD in trouble? Fall Guys' charity bidding war for a skin in the game is over, with a combined donation of One Million Dollars from G2 Esports, Ninja, Aim Lab, and Mr Beast. They each get a skin, but if that was going to happen, why not just make it a $250k donation? Fall Mania happened last week and it was amazing. It went down to the last event. That leads to our Hot Take. Twitch Rival's Fall Guys event went on a different points system. It meant that the team with the most crowns might not win. Chat wasn't happy with it. Can we come together and make a standard ruleset that will make everyone happy? We have another Hot Take though. Subtember is here, and as has become the standard, it's worse than last year, and the year before. Is it even worth promoting if it's not doing anything for the communities that care the most? Xwater and Jaku are herewith the news, while Poo is doing Fallmania. Crowd Control is happy to show off Fall Guys as a supported game. No worries though, you can't improve your chances with it, only hinder them. Season 2 has been announced, and they seem to be knocking it out of the park. A lot of DC news came out. A bunch of video games and movies are in store for all of us. Gotham Knights is looking pretty interesting. A game no one was waiting for has been announced: Lord of the Rings: Gollum. You get to play through the story of LotR as Gollum. IS that something you had hoped for? Games-Con 2020 happened. There were a lot of new games and trailers shown off. What were your favorites? Final Fantasy: Crystal Chronicles has gotten some heat. Enough heat for a Hot Take. You can't play locally, and progress is only saved on the host's system. Is this the best they could do with the remaster of the game? We don't think so. WE NOW HAVE A PATREON! This week Xwater returned to give Poo and Jaku the news of his house fire last week. Everything is fine, but last week he gave us a scare. Xwater Played Ghosts of Tsushima. He liked it, but Poo didn't. However, there's going to be a co-op update to the game which makes them both want to play again. Oculus Rift was bought by Facebook, which worried a lot of people. They said you wouldn't have to login through your Facebook to use it. But, now they are reversing course on that decision. Will you be logging in on your real FB account, or making a fake one just for your Oculus? The new Battletoads just came out, and it's getting a lot of mixed reviews. Some say that the story and variety of gameplay is great. Others say the art is off, and the game doesn't do any of the things it tries to do well. Fall Guys devs are doing a skin creation contest. Whoever donates the most to the Special Effect charity in the next two weeks gets to design a skin for the game. Right now a lot of popular youtubers and companies are fighting for the top dono spot. Who will win? SGDQ just ended and raised $2,312,629.84. Did you watch it? Did it feel the same as the live events? This week's Hot Take is about Burger King. They've had an advertising company donating to streams to talk about BK. Is that ok? Should BK be blamed, or the company doing it? Should we keep this on our radar for the future? This week is hosted by Xwater and Navetz, the Water Bros. Jaku and Grandpoobear should be back next week though. There was a new Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time romhack released that has been eagerly awaited. But, there was also a Banjo Kazooie romhack that added LoZ: OoT into it. What? The US congress is attempting to ban military recruiting on Twitch. It hasn't gotten very far, but it's something to look out for. A new game came out that intrigues us. 5D Chess With Multiverse Time Travel. You play chess, but you can send pieces back in time and to parallel universes. Does that make sense to you? It doesn't to us either. But, it's amazing. Dota 2's United States East server is down due to a cut fiber cable. There's a lot of angry Dota 2 players. How long will it take to fix? This week didn't have a ton of news, but we'll give you what we've got. Dr Disrespect gave a series of interviews this week. In them he said almost nothing, and is working on legal action against Twitch. We don't know what happened, but we do know that there's more happening behind the scenes that we can't wait to find out. For about a day, if you were verified on Twitter, you couldn't make any posts. They've fixed it, but should we make this a trend to give people some time off of social media? Xwater and Jaku are here with the news. Check out RAINN, The nation's largest anti-sexual violence organization: https://www.rainn.org/ Fortnite has been having concerts in game, but now they're got movie night happening. Inception, Batman Begins, or The Prestige will be playing in game, depending on where you live. Pokemon Unite was announced. It's a new MOBA coming to mobile and Switch. People are questioning why they're making a Pokemon MOBA, but until it comes out, we won't know what's really happening with it. Mixer is dead. Out of no where, Mixer is combining with Facebook Gaming. Ninja and Shroud got paid out, but the other streamers on Mixer are getting basically nothing. Can Facebook Gaming compete with Twitch and Youtube? Animal Crossing came out with a summer update. The biggest thing is swimming. That's going to add a lot to the minigames people are making. Minmin was announced for Smash. ARMS' new inclusion is interesting. Some people think she looks OP already. Will the remaining fighters be this underwhelming? This week's Hot Take is more of a Warm Take. Xwater played The Last of Us 2 and says it's good, but not great. The whole of the internet is hating it, but maybe you should give it a chance. Jaku, Grandpoobear, and Xwater are here with the news of the week. If you want to do your part to support the protests, because all lives can't matter until Black Lives Matter, check out: https://blacklivesmatter.carrd.co/ Sony finally revealed the Playstation 5. It looks kind of like a router. But, it's got some great games coming along with it. Spider-man, a new Horizon game, and a bunch of new franchises. Microsoft is going to have a real competitor. But, we haven't seen the prices of either console yet, so who knows? This week we have a Hot Take about Twitch. They're laying down the law on the DMCA with clips. If you have a copywritten song in a clip, you can get strikes on your channel. People are having to delete years worth of clips to avoid this. Could Twitch have done more? Yes. The whole group is back with the news. Jaku is excited for Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles, and is still obsessed with Final Fantasy XI. Will his life be consumed by it? The new Wholesome Direct: Indie Game Showcase came out. It has a ton of cute and wholesome indie games coming out in the near future. We're excited for the idea of more adorable games like this. Animal Crossing has blown up with mini games recently. Survivor, Deal or No Deal, Ninja Warrior, and so much more. They have been awesome to watch, and more will keep coming. Xwater has a Hot Take on Facebook's Buy and Sell feature. It used to be a lot easier to barter with people online. Now everyone assumes their junk is valuable, and low-balls everything else. Jaku, Xwater, and Poo are here with the news of the week. Because of the amazing Patrons, we were supposed to have a irl stream party to celebrate. With everything happening, that's not really possible. So, for now, we're doing a Mario Party Party on May 22. Check it out! Tony Hawk Pro Skater is getting a new game? No. It's actually significantly better. THPS 1 and 2 are getting remade, with most of the original music. It looks amazing, and we're all excited for it. Unreal Engine 5 has been shown off, and WOW! It looks amazing. There will be a lot of really amazing looking games coming soon with that. We have a Hot Take concerning another new announcement. Paper Mario: The Origami King was announced. It looks really good, and we can't wait to play it. But, can it please the fans of Paper Mario? After Sticker Star and Color Splash, will anything make the hard core Paper Mario fans happy? Ghost of Tsushima is coming in July. It looks pretty cool, but one of the things Jaku noticed was the UI. It takes up very little of the screen. On top of that, quests that send you somewhere don't have markers to follow. The wind in the game blows towards your objective instead. This is a really interesting decision that lets you feel more immersed in the game, and we hope more games do things like this. WE NOW HAVE A PATREON! Jaku and Xwater have returned with the hottest news around. Jaku has been BUSY! Turnip.exchange has had over 4 million unique users. There's been so much happening, and we want to thank every patron for helping support us. A ton of Nintendo source code as leaked. We don't know the extent of all of it yet, but there's a ton of information that Nintendo didn't want to see out there. Mario 64 has an awesome PC port with widescreen and 4k resolution. But, it wasn't made by Nintendo, and it's been taken down. We get it, but still, it was awesome. Sony said they found the Last of Us 2 leaker. It could be a fake to deter others from doing something similar, but we hope it's real because the leaks only hurt one of the best games in years. Cyberpunk 2077 has a new feature that everyone will want to see to believe. You will be able to to customize your genitals. This is a necessary step to making video games better. Right? The first line of Xbox Series X games have been revealed. We talk a bit about each one, but the most important thing is Smart Delivery. If you buy a game with Smart Delivery, you get all versions, and the best versions even if it's updated later. Microsoft has been very pro consumer lately. Speaking of, this week's Hot Take is about the new Series X. With Smart Delivery, is there a reason to buy the Series X and not just play the games on the Xbox One or on PC? We'll have to see how sales are when the Series X comes out. WE NOW HAVE A PATREON! Check it out at https://www.patreon.com/WarpWorld Check out https://coins.warp.world for a salty treat! This week Jaku, Xwater, and Grandpoobear are here to update you on the news. The biggest news is Super Mario Maker 2 had a huge update within 24 hours of announcing it. It added Koopa Kids, Mario 2 (costume), and at least 1 powerup per theme. It's huge and we love it. We have a Hot Take on Maker 2's updates. Should they do huge updates all at once, or spread them out like a small drip. Both would be better with just a little bit of communication. Animal Crossing got a Nature Day update. It's pretty big, and it seems like they have at least a years worth of content, if not more. Keep these coming Big N! Xwater is now a pirate with an eye patch. Don't worry, he's actually ok, he just looks cooler for a few more weeks. Crowd Control took over the charity fundraising for St Jude Children's Hospital this week. Jaku, Xwater, and GrandPooBear are in the house. Today, they're joined by Kungfufruitcup, a streamer and interviewer for Games Done Quick. They have a great interview with her about who she is, and what she does. With Corona Virus on the loose, everything is getting canceled. Be careful out there everyone. Wash your hands, don't cough on people, and please don't hoard everything. Other people need supplies too. Nintendo of America's former president, Reggie, is now on the board of directors of GameStop. Can he pull them back from the brink? We have a Hot Take on spoilers. Someone spoiled where the last seed on Xwater's quest to get all 900 in Breath of the Wild. It spoiled the end for everyone in chat, not just Xwater. Please don't be like that. WE NOW HAVE A PATREON! The Grandest of Bears is gone today, but Xwater and Jaku are here to give you the news. Xwater won the Breath of the Wild Pet the God race. Congratulations to him! Twitch has made some "improvements" lately. Affiliates gained bit emotes. There's now a badge for participating in the Hype Train. They also introduced Badge Flair. More options is good, but are they taking things too far? Mixer got a lot of big streamers, but their numbers aren't showing that. They've also been having a lot of internal problems. Will Mixer fade away? Tony Hawk's Pro Skater was a legendary video game series. They did so many things that no one else was doing. As a tribute, there is a documentary on the games coming out soon. Be sure to check out: thpsfilm.com Kurt0411 was banned by EA, from all of their games. On one hand, who cares, their games are mediocre. On the other hand, maybe calm down a bit. There's more drama, but this time it's in our community. The Mario Maker community has a streamer raging at viewers. A viewer counter raging. Accounts getting hacked. Well, some of that happened. The rest was exaggerated to make more drama. A third helping of drama is coming your way! Trihex, and a few other politically leaning streamers were DMCA'd and banned from Twitch. It turns out it was a false claim, but the bans keep happening. We try to stay out of politics on Twitch, but let the people who want to talk about it speak. Finally, our Hot Take. Mario Sunshine speedrunners have decided to use a hacked save file that lets you skip the opening 7 minutes of cut scenes. It lets runners get more attempts, but some people say it hurts the integrity of the game. Is it cool, or uncool? WE NOW HAVE A PATREON! But, afterwards is a great interview with PointCrow, an up and coming streamer that plays Breath of the Wild is all of the ways you never thought of, and never wanted to. It's going to be great, check it out here: pointcrow-race.now.sh There wasn't a lot of news this week, but there was a Hot Take. Xwater is hot about non other than Warcraft 3 Reforged. It's been refunded, but he's still playing it with his friend. GrandPooBear is back with Jaku and Xwater to bring you the news. While it's not directly gaming related, NCAA athletes can now take paid endorsements. It might not seem like a big deal, but Poo has some insight on it. Shigeru Miyamoto was given the Person of Cultural Merit award. His accomplishments are being acknowledged by the Japanese government, and we think he completely deserves it. Reviews for Death Stranding are out. It's either the best game ever made and a masterpiece, or the worst piece of hot garbage ever. What's the truth? You'll have to play 100+ hours to find out. Luigi's Mansion 3 is out. It's a lot of fun, but nothing groundbreaking. If you liked the other's in the series, you'll like this one though. Origin is EA's digital platform for their games. They announced the next expansion for WoW. They showed some videos on Diablo 4. Overwatch is getting a sequel. Warcraft is getting a new game. Warcraft 4? If you're going to cheat in a game, it's ok, as long as it's consensual with all of the players. Don't be a jerk! Last of Us 2 was delayed. A bad game released early will never be good. A game can be good if you give it enough time. We would rather have the best game possible, even if it takes some time. Death Stranding has Conan O'brian. Does that matter? Is it awesome? Is the game going to be good? What even is it? Outer Worlds just came out, and they have something interesting. Twitch Plays Outer Worlds. Maybe the next time, we can get Crowd Control into a new game. Hit us up Devs. Rise of the Slime came out, it's a deckbuilding game similar to Slay the Spire. Jaku is interested, and you might be too. Slimes rock! Shroud is jumping to Mixer, and TheMexicanRunner is going to Facebook. What? That takes us to our Hot Take.
