These wars advanced to groovy!The Xbox Game Pass "Surprise Me" button has taken a turn toward strategy with its selection for this episode. Developed and published by Chucklefish, this sequel to the turn-based tactics title seems set for success. Will the developers leverage what they learned working on the original to deliver a refined experience or will they take bold risks instead? Tom seemed nervous that controls would be an issue on the console, but Chris countered that there's a whole turn-based tactical franchise on Nintendo handhelds with far fewer buttons, so perhaps that fear is unwarranted. In today's Daily Fix: Helldivers 2 developer Arrowhead is listening to fan feedback and once again made significant balance changes to the game's weapons. The latest patch, Update 01.001.100, attempts to make the game easier by adjust several weapons, including flamethrowers and anti-tank mines, among many others. Changes are also coming to the Galactic War map to help players plan their moves. This update comes around the time the latest Warbond, Chemical Agents, drops on September 19th. In other news, several new games are coming to PS Plus, including The Plucky Squire, and Chernobylite. Far Cry 5, Wild Card Football, and more are also coming to the service. And on the Xbox side, several strategy games are arriving on Game Pass this month. Ara: History Untold, Wargroove 2, and Frostpunk 2 make up Wave 2 of this month's offerings.
