Affiliate marketing is a fantastic way to add an extra income stream to your business without a tonne of effort after the initial set up. Once your affiliate links are ready to go, they work quietly in the background, earning you extra money over time. The beauty of affiliate marketing is its compounding potential - you can add links to your content now, and as your audience and following grows, so does your income. Even better, you can go back and update older, high-performing content with affiliate links to give you an extra income boost there as well. And I'm not just talking blog posts - there are plenty of clever places to incorporate your affiliate links in ways that benefit you and your audience too. Sales can feel nerve-wracking, especially when the idea of not converting the sale feels personal. But your sales numbers aren't a reflection of your worth or value. They simply show how clearly your audience understands the value you bring, how your product or service can make a positive change, and how effectively you're reaching the right people. If selling is uncomfortable for you right now, we're going to make that feel much better with some strategies to help you approach your sales with more confidence and ease. --- Mentioned in this episode: Effortless Sales --- Ready to simplify your business? Paid vs. organic marketing - which is better? If you're looking to grow your audience and attract high quality clients, you've likely asked yourself the same thing. Paid advertising seems to promise quick results, but the tech can be confusing, it can eat up your budget fast, and it doesn't always translate to long-term relationships. My guest today has built their own product based business and now coaching business through organic marketing efforts and has grown their Instagram profile to more than 50 thousand followers and their email list to 45 thousand without ads. Dylan Jahraus is a seasoned e-commerce entrepreneur with over 10 years experience, from corporate e-commerce to scaling e-commerce entrepreneurs. HerEtsy venture, quickly exceeded $1M in profit before expanding to Amazon and Shopify. With her experience and insights, she now helps people recognise that even these days, they can still grow their audience organically without the help of ads, and I'm so excited to chat with her and find out how. Listen in as Dylan and I talk about how to determine the right platforms to focus on for your audience, some best practices for growing your following organically, common mistakes people make when trying to grow their social media following, and Dylan's favourite techniques to convert social media followers into email subscribers! My guest today can speak from first-hand experience about juggling work and family life, and how tricky that can be! Many of us start our own business because we're looking for more flexibility, the opportunity to work from home, around the kids and other personal commitments. And while it's certainly worth it, it's not easy - especially in the first few years of building your business! The pandemic and years since then have seen the rise of the “gig” economy, with more and more people turning to side hustles they could build alongside other work or family life. We're all familiar with companies like Uber, Door Dash, Sidekicker - all great options for making extra money. But not amazing in terms of training and support. So either you go it on your own with your own business, or you go it on your own with your side hustle. Until now! Susan Toft is the Founder and CEO of award-winning Australian mobile laundry service, The Laundry Lady - and her business model is shaking up the idea of the 'gig economy'. The Laundry Lady is a great solution for those looking to run a business from home or those interested in 'side-hustles', with a smooth and simple business model and technology & innovations that can help and support you in scaling a business. She has steered the business from $200K revenue to $6M in the past four years - continuing to grow despite cost of living pressures. Laundry Lady now has a team of 300+ contractors Australia wide and in 2023 broke into the New Zealand market. Susan is a champion for women in the workplace, bringing time and flexibility back to mums, dads, career-changers and more with her innovative and market-leading independent contractor model. I've been running my own businesses more than 12 years now, juggling them around family responsibilities and all the other life admin, and one of the things that's always popped up for me is this feeling of being just a little bit behind, like I'm trying to keep up but never quite getting everything done. I don't think I'm alone there. I'm really only just realising now that there's not going to be a point where everything is done. That goal is realistically not achievable, so why was I putting that pressure on myself? There will always be another project to work on, another load of washing to do.. that's not me failing to keep up, that's just life continuing on. Lately my focus has shifted from how much I can get done, to how I feel when I'm getting things done. And that's really helped to lighten my load. I still want to be productive, but I want to take a more easeful approach to it. Here's how I'm currently doing that! --- Come chat with me on Instagram! --- Ready to simplify your business? As a coach, service provider, or course creator, you've likely poured hours and hours into building and working on your business already. And when you're passionate about what you do, you're fine with that! But imagine how great it would be to be able to help more people and make more sales (and more money) while working less hours and having more freedom for the fun parts of life! I love going to the movies when everyone else is at work or at school. I like spending Mondays with my mum going out for afternoon tea. I love reading books, doing puzzles, and diving down reality TV rabbit holes. And I love not having to work at 11pm at night on my laptop anymore while the rest of my family is sleeping (which is what my business looked like at the very beginning when I almost burnt out after just a few months). Working tirelessly in your business shouldn't be your end goal. You can create a business that works for you—one that scales easily, bringing in more clients and revenue without you working more hours. Adding an online course to your business model is a great way to do this. Optimising your online course so that it sells more without you having to do more is even better! So in this week's podcast episode, I'm sharing five elements you can include in your online course that will not only deliver incredible value to your students but also help you make more sales and scale your business with less effort. --- Mentioned in this episode: ThriveCart: One lifetime payment to sell and host unlimited online courses (affiliate link) --- Come chat with me on Instagram! --- Ready to simplify your business? Let's talk launches - do you love them or hate them? Lots of business owners, coaches and course creators approach them with a mix of excitement (potential for great sales) and dread (it's a ton of work and what if it doesn't bring in the numbers we're hoping for?) Launches can feel quite overwhelming because there are typically a lot of moving parts to set up behind the scenes for something that runs for a short time. I wasn't a huge fan of big launches for my first few years in business because of that workload - we all know I like to keep things simple! But I also love a puzzle, and found launches really interesting when I watched my entrepreneurial friends do them! And they really can bring in an incredible amount of revenue, so I had a go, kept at it, and once I learned a few tricks to make launches simpler and more manageable, they became such a handy tool, not just for bringing in great money but for growing and scaling my business at the same time. Launches for my passive products are the reason I can keep my client numbers low and enjoy working just a couple of hours a day instead of full time, and I think once you find the version of launching that works best for you, you'll love having that extra time and financial abundance in your business too! --- Mentioned in this episode: Jeff Walker's Product Launch Formula free masterclass *I'm an affiliate for Jeff, and receive a commission if you join one of his paid programs via my link Leadpages (affiliate link) ThriveCart (affiliate link) ConvertKit (affiliate link) --- Come chat with me on Instagram! --- Ready to simplify your business? Want to get more done, in less time, with less effort? Me too! I'm big on efficiency for two reasons, I want to deliver a quality service to my customers, and I like a lot of free time. No matter what kind of business owner you are - a coach, a service provider, a course creator - we often find ourselves juggling multiple tasks, feeling pulled in different directions, waking up with a to do list running through our head that always feels urgent, struggling to balance our professional and personal lives. How do we tick off those to do's quickly and easily so we can focus on the parts of the business that light us up, or take more time off for ourselves without sacrificing the quality of our deliverables? For me, templates are the answer. They streamline my processes, the save me time, they let me focus on the stuff I love doing, and they help me delegate! Here's a breakdown on the types of templates I find myself using over and over again in my business because they really free me up a lot. And as an added bonus, some of these also take away the emotional tie I have to the activity, if it's something I feel nervous about doing, having the template helps me do it with less stress, and without stumbling through it! --- Mentioned in this episode: My Time-Saving Templates Manychat (affiliate link) Book Like A Boss (affiliate link) --- Come chat with me on Instagram! --- Ready to simplify your business? If you're a business owner, course creator, service provider, or coach who has been in business for at least a couple of years, you've probably realised that striking a balance between making great money and working hours that suit you can be a bit of a juggling act. But it is possible! I like to work mornings and take the afternoons & evenings off and I like going to the movies on Thursdays when everyone else is at work or at school, sitting in Gold Class in the dark for a couple of hours while people bring me snacks
As small business owners, whether we are content creators, service providers, or coaches we often shy away from actively selling. I don't want to be pushy, what if they don't like it, I'm not natural sales person, I don't know enough about my topic yet, rejection feels personal - any of these sound familiar? I'm too busy, I don't know what to sell, how to price it, or how to get it in front of people who want to buy it. It's really interesting how so many of us have the same blocks, and yet when I speak to my entrepreneurial buddies who are doing really well, they all say the same thing - they had those fears and blocks too, but they still took action. Business for me is really about 2 things - delivering a high quality experience for my customers, and staying on top of my mindset. Actually mindset is really my first focus these days, because before I had that in place I would procrastinate, lose focus, and miss out on opportunities and sales. After 12+ years in the online business world, I know what to include in an offer that makes it an easy yes for buyers, and I know how to set up my systems so that those offers sell themselves. That takes so much pressure off me, I can keep myself in a positive mindset and focus on the parts of the business I love, which for me is creating content that feels like I'm documenting my life and chatting with people. Today I'm going to share with you my must haves for creating an offer that people really want to buy, and how I set my systems up to do the selling for me! Too many business owners focus on scaling and growing without the proper foundations in place which causes problems as they grow. This eventually leads to burnout and structural issues in their business that cost time, money, and energy to fix. Scaling with sustainability at the forefront is the key to healthy, lasting growth. Tressa Beheim joins me on the show this week to talk about why having strategic marketing and operations support in your business is essential to scaling in a sustainable way. Tressa is the founder and driving force behind Simplify Now, where she serves as an online business manager and strategic partner. Leading a team of dynamic individuals, she is the go-to expert for entrepreneurs looking to streamline their operations and build their businesses. Tressa combines the knowledge and business acumen attained through an MBA and years in various corporate positions, with nearly 15 years in the online world to help her clients execute their big (and small!) visions in the real world. Tressa's unique understanding of what happens behind-the-scenes and fresh insights into how business owners can make their businesses work for them helps her clients stay in their zone of genius. Listen in as Tressa and I talk about how scaling without sustainability can set you up to fail, what an integrator does, how to know when you need one, how having a second business brain helps you get more done with less effort on your part, and how strategic marketing and operations support can free you up to be the visionary in your business! How you are going keeping up with your social media presence for your business? There are so many platforms now that it feels almost impossible to be consistently present on all of them. And even if you can post daily on all platforms, is it really helping to grow your business and make more sales? I spend a lot of time on social media, particularly on TikTok and Instagram - as a consumer. I love watching the trends pop up and seeing how creative people are. But while I can easily spend a couple of hours scrolling through TikTok, I'm not as eager to spend the same amount of time posting there. And I'm not interested in creating flashy and time-consuming content. So I don't! And you don't have to either. I like to share something helpful, chat with people, and then move on with my day. So I've set up my socials and my systems to do a lot of the heavy lifting for me in terms of list growth and sales, and that frees me up to just ENJOY my time on social media, not feel pressured by it. Today I thought I'd run you through what that looks like in case you find it helpful and want to set up something similar for your business! --- Ready to simplify your business? Being a business owner often means wearing multiple hats and juggling multiple tasks all by yourself. You want to do it all because you're very conscious of your budget and need to be able to afford to run your business as it grows. But once you start to see consistent sales and cash flow, you get even busier managing your deliverables, and your business growth should not come at the expense of your efficiency or your personal wellbeing. When that momentum starts to build - that's when you need to hire help, and a Virtual Assistant (or VA) is the ideal place to start! Your VA can take care of so many business tasks, freeing you up to focus on the core activities that really need you - your face, your experience, your personality. But many entrepreneurs, particularly those in the first few years of running their business, find the process of finding and hiring a VA a bit too overwhelming, and as a result tend to put it off and struggle on by themselves (often burning out in the process!) Where do you begin when looking for a VA? What should you look for in terms of their skills? How do you ensure they align with your business values and needs? My guest today one half of an incredible team that specialises in helping business owners find the perfect VA, and helping VAs establish their virtual assistant business so that the client & VA relationship can be the perfect match! They help people demystify the process, providing clear, actionable insights to seamlessly integrate a VA into the business, ensuring that it's not just another task to check off your to do list, but a strategic move towards sustainable growth and work-life balance. Founded in February 2019, the Newcastle Virtual Assistants is the brainchild of Adrienne Donnelly and Jane Ekholm. They are passionate about the Virtual Assistant industry in Australia and provide a space for their members to thrive, offering them mentoring, resources, guidance, connection, and learning opportunities. They not only act as a conduit between business owners and local Virtual Assistants through education and matchmaking, they also work with industry partners to continue to raise the profile and ensure the quality of the VA industry in our community, and beyond. Adrienne and Jane have helped more than 40 business owners find a VA through their matchmaking service, and they're looking forward to helping even more people in the business community! They understand that business owners put off the search because they are time poor, and that is how they can help. Tune in as Adrienne and I chat about one of the common pain points for business owners when it comes to the search for a VA, how a matchmaking service can help that pain point, some success stories of people they have helped, and how their matchmaking service came to life! --- Ready to simplify your business? We're talking about creativity today because creatives are often undervalued and restrained. People think being creative is a soft skill, a nice thing to do but don't consider it a business builder - and they're wrong. Whether you work for yourself or for a company, your creativity is one of your most powerful assets. Companies and corporations suffer from high turnover, lack of job ownership and loss of profits because they focus on enforcing how someone else did the job before the new hire and stifling all ability to let employees adjust their job to work better individually, providing higher efficiency, pride in their work and overall happiness with their job. Employees are humans, not machines. And for business owners, creativity is a must if you're looking to stand out and really connect with your customers. The ability to think outside the box can transform your brand, making it more relatable and memorable to your target audience. Embracing creativity leads to innovative approaches to marketing, product development, and customer experience , not to mention increased engagement and loyalty. In a marketplace where consumers are bombarded with choices, letting creativity lead the way is your best strategy to capture attention and drive your business success. My guest today is on a mission is to inspire and empower Creatives with the tools they need to be successful, and to teach corporations to embrace the creativity of their employees! Paul Pape is a seasoned artist, designer, and entrepreneur with over 20 years of experience in the creative industry. Paul's journey began with a passion for education stemming from a need to escape an abusive childhood. Eventually, he found his way to design and fabrication, which led to the creation of thousands of personalised products for clients worldwide. In recent years, Paul has pivoted to empowering fellow Creatives, sharing his expertise and insights to help them transform their passions into successful businesses. As a speaker, educator, and mentor, Paul inspires others to unleash their creative potential and find fulfilment in their personal and professional lives. Tune in as Paul and I talk about the turning point that made him realise his passion for helping others tap into their creative potential, how he adapts his approach to creativity and empowerment to fit the unique needs of diverse clients, some common misconceptions about creativity in the business world, and how to figure out what to charge when you're a Creative! So many of us think owning a business is going to give us better work life balance than a 9-5 or working under someone else, but the reality is many new business owners end up working 24/7, burning out, getting sick, and it's almost seen as a right of passage for business owners. At this point we start to make the necessary changes, but wouldn't it be nice if we could skip the struggle and simply follow a better path from the start? If you're not enjoying your day to day journey of building your business, you won't be able to fully enjoy or appreciate your results when you do start seeing your definition of success. My guest today is on a mission to show entrepreneurs that the possibilities of what they can achieve in life is truly limitless and that the only thing that is stopping them from getting from where they are now to where they want to be, is their mindset & skillset (both of which you have the power to shift). Are you jumping between marketing strategies without allowing them time to start working? The allure of new marketing trends can be appealing- you notice someone else doing something you haven't seen before , perceive them as more successful than you and feel like you should ditch your current strategy and follow theirs instead. I don't blame you. We live in a world of instant downloads and short attention spans and constantly chasing the new at the expense of nurturing the now. The truth is, most effective marketing strategies are like planting a garden; they require time, care, and consistency to see results. Jumping from one approach to another is like uprooting seedlings before they have a chance to grow, leaving you with nothing. Ok business owner, you have honed your skills, perfected your craft, and you're ready to make a real difference in people's lives. But there's one catch—you haven't actually started selling your coaching, services or courses because you don't quite feel like you're ready yet. What's holding you back? Do you feel like your offers need to be perfect before you can sell them? I've worked with small business owners for years now, and I've noticed it's the same 3 blocks that come up repeatedly when it comes to selling their products and services: They think they can't make offers until their website is perfect They don't have testimonials yet to sell their offer for them They're focused too much on creation and not enough on selling. Let's look at each of these in a little more detail. --- This month in The Simpler Business Mastermind we're setting up your automated sales funnel! How are you feeling right now, as a business owner? Do any of these resonate with you right now? “There has to be more to success than just money” “Owning my own business can be lonely - I miss the support I had when I worked at my regular job” “I'm showing up and doing all the things but feeling unfulfilled” “I've had some great achievements but they've come at a price” “I'm not sure I can sustain where I'm at in my business, let alone go to the next level. Running your own business isn't just about making money. You left the 9-5 to do something you love, to help people, to live and work on your own terms. You're the heart & soul, the engine of your business, so there needs to be more to it than just leads, sales, and profits if you're going to feel a sense of fulfilment from it. When was the last time you paused and took note of how you're feeling? Are you slogging it out trying to get enough clients, deliver the work on time, pay your bills and hopefully make some money for you too. It might be time to shift focus a little, and give some attention to your personal wellbeing as a business owner. You can accomplish so much more when you're feeling good in your body, mind and spirit, and I've got the perfect guest to help you with that! We talk about online courses a LOT here on the podcast because they're such a game changer in your business when it comes to increasing your cash flow and freeing up your time. Passive in my experience applies to everything once it's all set up and working - you've created your product, you have a sales & delivery process set up for it, and you have a marketing strategy that actually converts. So it's not completely effort free, but it's so much freer and easier than filling your week with 40 hours of on one on one coaching or services! I recommend adding an online course to pretty everyone I work with. So what's the best way to SELL your online program and create a RELIABLE passive income stream? Most course creators rely on live launches to sell their course. But they can be quite unpredictable, especially the first few times you do it, and they come with a lot of risk because of their short time frame and “feast or famine” nature. All it takes is one broken link or misaligned message in your launch for profits to tank and the whole thing to flop. That's a lot of pressure! Equally, when creators go evergreen the traditional way, their conversion rates plummet, and the dream of passive income feels like it's moving further out of reach. What a lot of course creators don't realise is there's another way to sell that takes the best of both of these options and leads to predictable passive income and sustainable growth. You can "launch" with a profitable evergreen system and use ongoing, automated customer feedback to dial in your messaging and improve your sales conversions over time. No more stressing and guessing your way to more course sales. You'll have audience insights to inform you of where any leaky holes are and how to plug them! My guest today Abi Prendergast is the creator (and soon-to-be author!) of Day #1 Evergreen -- the automated funnel that's built to convert better every month. For years, Abi wrote launch copy for some of the biggest names in the course industry, including Amy Porterfield and Copyhackers. Eventually, the nail-biting pressure of live launches got to her, so she created a system that equips creators to hop off that live launch roller coaster and create a reliable flow of passive income in their business. If you've been struggling with your passive product sales or procrastinating on creating them, or want to move away from live launches without a big drop in cash flow, you're going to love what Abi has to share! Listen in as Abi and I chat about the biggest challenge course creators face in 2024, why course creators shouldn't validate their online course before jumping into evergreen, how listeners can collect customer feedback & improve conversions, and what Abi includes in her Day #1 Evergreen funnel to increase conversion rates! So you've been running your service business for a while now, and things are going well! You've got a steady stream of clients who are loving what you do, and you're finding yourself getting busier and busier. This is usually the point when we solo business owners start to think about what comes next for the business. We see other business owners get to this point and start to focus on scaling and growing their business by hiring and training team members to help with the workload. But what if you don't want to manage a team? What if you're happy with how things are, and want to bring in great money and help your clients without having to hire and train other people to do it with you? What if you love being a sole trader and want to achieve your business goals but still have a life? What if that one size fits all business framework, actually doesn't fit with what YOU want? You can build a simple and sustainable service business that aligns with your lifestyle goals as well as your business ones, and my guest today is going to show you how! If you've listened to the podcast for a while, you already know I'm a big believer in building a business that aligns with your natural strengths, talents and interests. When you do what comes naturally to you, when you do what you enjoy and you price your offers well, the whole business experience is smoother. It doesn't feel like hard work. You enjoy showing up and doing the things that move your business forward - and you have the freedom to ditch, delegate or automate the rest. Sales are easier. You don't have to put in long hours. Sometimes you do because you get so into a project you can't stop thinking about it, but that tends to balance out in the long run because you have the opportunity to build space into your schedule for times of rest, rejuvenation, and creativity. You know that feeling when you're working on something and it feels almost too easy? The time goes by like lightning, your fingers are flying over your keyboard, or you find yourself thinking “I can't believe I'm getting paid to do this”? That's what I consider working in flow and I LOVE it. I want that for all of us, and I'm drawn like a magnet to other people who work in flow. That's why I'm so excited to have today's guest on the show! Ruby Lee is all about helping entrepreneurs tap into the magic of flow in their businesses. She's a certified High Flow Coach and people trust her for guidance because she's documented every step of her business journey over the past 5 years. She's the host of the Flow State Business podcast which has had close to half a million downloads, and she ties things like your energy into how you run your business. Ruby is so real and open and every time I get a peek behind the scenes of how she runs her business I am SO impressed! I've worked with Ruby in a couple of courses now and have seen my monthly income jump by thousands as a result, without needing to add extra hours to my working week. Her coaching is perfect for me, quick and actionable and motivates me to actually DO things that make my business not only easier but more enjoyable - things flow very smoothly for me now and it's Ruby I have to thank for that! In Ruby's experience, flow can transform lives. It's not just about making more money (which we're totally ok with!); it's about loving what you do and finding the most expansive version of you. Tune in as Ruby & I talk about how she came across the concept of flow, and it's impact on her life, how she applies the flow state to building and running her business, and the magic she's seen in her business and others since applying these principles! Back in 2011 I left corporate and started my first business, Beautifully Organised. I wanted more control over my time, to run my own schedule and to work on my terms. I wanted to be home for my young children more instead of having to work long hours, evenings and weekends. I wanted my work to fit around my life, and over the past 13 years I've worked with a lot of small business owners who want that too. Now for me, work life balance was a windy road. Beautifully Organised started as an in person service, where I would go to other mums' homes and physically help them organise it so that their day would flow more smoothly around their young families. Here's how to set up your kitchen so making dinner at witching hour is easier, here's how to set up your bathroom so it's quick and easy to clean right after bath time, that kind of thing. The ironic part was within just a couple of months, I was working just as long hours as I was before, I was away from my kids for the same amount of time, and I was responsible for everything - not just organising for my customers, but the marketing, sales, customer service… everything. I burnt out in a few months. My corporate job was inflexible, but at least it was a regular pay check and I could turn off when I wasn't at work. If I wanted more balance, if I wanted to work in a way that aligned with my dream lifestyle rather than dictated what it would be like, I needed to be more strategic about how my business worked. So at that point, I decided to make some changes. It took a lot of trial and error, but these days Beautifully Organised is an online business, and I make money sharing my organising tips via courses instead of personally going to people's homes and organising them myself anymore. I have a very simple business model, and that's actually what freed me up to start The Simpler Business podcast in the first place! I like to work a couple of hours a day, and I limit my private clients in this business to a handful so I'm not overworked anymore. I also made a few other changes to my approach to running my business and thought I'd share them in case you find them helpful! Here's what I do each year to run my 2 businesses and still have a life I love with plenty of down time. --- Ready to simplify your business? If you love the idea of leaving corporate, leaving retail, leaving the 9 to 5 or what hour hours you're working and you really want to start your own business and work for yourself but you don't know what kind of business to start or what to focus on, then you are going to find this episode, really really inspiring and really really motivating. A good friend of mine, one of my absolute favourite people in the world, Serena Edwards is on the show today! She's the founder of Elegantly Empowered, and her whole business is about inspiring women to leverage their strengths and use them to uplift themselves and others, no matter what they've been through. I'm really excited to have her on the show because so many people talk to me about how they are thinking of starting a business because there's a gap in the market, or because they think this thing will sell well. And yes there is logic in that in my experience working with 100s of predominantly female clients over the years, we tend to burn out when we're not doing something we're passionate about or something that that gives us purpose. When we are doing something that lights us up, that we feel that we called to do, the landscape changes for us as business owners. The work is easier, sales flow better, and we connect with the right people at the right time, as long as we follow the very simple business rules of do what feels good and don't give up. I'm most inspired when I see people creating a business that helps other people, and I'm really interested in hearing about how they got started, and what inspired them to start their business. Listen in as Serena and I discuss her business journey including how she helps people, how she turned her passion and purpose into a business, the biggest lesson she's learnt so far, and what's coming up for Elegantly Empowered in the next 12 months! Keeping your client docket full is something most of us are nervous about when we're first starting our business, whether we're service providers, coaches or course creators. When I speak with small business owners and entrepreneurs about working with clients, they're typically focused on finding new ones, which I find very interesting, because retaining clients is actually much easier than attracting new ones. And when I ask why retention isn't part of their regular strategy, the answer is usually something along the lines of “I don't want to be too pushy or salesy, or seem to greedy, or make people feel like I only care about getting more money from them.” If you're currently working with clients and can see other ways you can help them and you don't offer to do that, they'll finish up with you and then a few weeks or months later realise they might need help with it, and then they might come back, or they might go with whoever else they've come across since then. And they'll wonder why you didn't pick up on it and offer to help them! But if you have a simple way to offer a continued working relationship to your clients and you systemise it so you can make your offer in a friendly and confident way, the focus isn't on whether you want more money or not, it's on whether you care about their long term results. So in case you need help with client retention, I'm sharing my favourite ways for course creators, service providers and coaches to keep working with their favourite clients without feeling pushy! --- Ready to simplify your business? Live launches are intense and can put your business into feast or famine mode - big influxes of cash every few months with nothing in between. Evergreen funnels have gained popularity in recent years because they allow you to bring in regular cash flow without the intensity of launches - in theory, it's a set-and-forget job, you create your funnel, turn it on, and let it do the selling for you! That promise of predictability and stability with your income is very appealing, but what happens when you put all of your efforts into creating your evergreen sales funnel and it doesn't convert? What happens to the people on your email list who go through your funnel and don't buy? It seems we have pros and cons for both launches and evergreen, but did you know there's another option you can consider? My guest today teaches agencies, coaches and course creators how to automate their sales without the stress of live launching OR relying on evergreen strategies that might fall short of their goals. As the visionary CEO and Founder of Nicki K Media, Nicki Krawczyk loves to challenge the conventional norms of live launching and traditional evergreen strategies. Her proven methodologies provide course creators with a predictable path to success, freeing them from the stress and limitations of outdated approaches. Her Circuit Sales System has all of the excitement of live launching, but without the stress and risk. And it's got all of the predictability of evergreen, but without the low conversions. Listen in as Nicki and I chat about why a lot of evergreen funnels have low conversions, why live launching doesn't work as well anymore, why Nicki's Circuit System is perfect for coaches and course creators, and the results she's seeing from her Circuit System members! In November I went on my annual solo trip, a cruise through Spain, France and Italy - and it was AMAZING. The food in Barcelona was SO good, Cannes and Provence were so pretty, and I just adored everything about my 3 days in Rome! The cruise itself was with Norwegian Cruise Lines and it was the ultimate luxury. It's easily the most beautiful ship I've been on. What I found really interesting though was the little lessons I picked up while on the cruise ship - all about marketing and sales! I thought you might find them helpful too, so enjoy this casual chat about what I discovered and how we can apply it to our coaching, service or online course businesses! --- Ready to simplify your business?
