Here are 3 big things you need to know—   One — Stellantis is temporarily laying off 900 employees in response to President Trump's tariff announcement.  The layoffs will impact workers at five of the automaker's U.S. facilities.  Stellantis also announced it will be pausing production at two of its plants in Canada and Mexico.  In a letter to employees, the company said it's assessing the medium and long-term effects of the tariffs on operations.  .   Two ----  President Trump says the tariffs imposed on other countries are working, and he is ready to make some deals.  Speaking to reporters aboard Air Force One, Trump said his initial tariff plan is over, and he's watching it settle in.  He said every country has called, asking to cut a trade deal with the U.S. to avoid the tariffs.    And number three —   A months-long review by the Michigan Secretary of State's office has identified 15 individuals who allegedly are not U.S. citizens but still cast ballots in the November presidential election in Michigan. That's according to the Detroit News. The 15 people are in addition to a University of Michigan student from China who allegedly voted illegally in  October.
