Equiteam's Liz Daniels is joined by the brilliantly inspiring Flo Dawes, a member of the Hawkstone Farmers Choir, whose unforgettable debut on Britain's Got Talent had audiences across the UK reaching for the tissues. Accomplished equestrian Flo, shares more about her day job as a professional dressage rider alongside running a livery yard, Nupdown Equestrian, in Bristol, and how answering an advert on Facebook for singing farmers has changed her life. What began as a simple audition to promote Jeremy Clarkson's Hawkstone lager quickly grew into something far bigger, attracting hundreds of applicants and shining a light on the incredible, often hidden talent within rural communities. Flo shares the choir's journey from meeting Jeremy and Caleb Cooper, to stepping out on a National platform to sing live for the first time in years, and receiving the golden buzzer from Amanda Holden for their powerful rendition of Elbow's One Day. From singing with her Mum, to bringing people together as advocates for mental health and well-being in the rural community, Flo shares a glimpse of what could be next for The Hawkstone Farmers Choir. If your kid has ever picked up a clarinet… there's a fair chance this bloke had something to do with it.Rowan McBride joins me in the van, and if you grew up on the Central Coast, you probably already know his name. He's been running school band programs for over 20 years, shaping thousands of young musicians and watching everything from first-day squeaks to full-blown “that was the best thing I've ever done” moments on stage. We get into what's actually changed with kids over the years, why instant gratification is making music harder to stick with, and the surprising number of students who go from “can't play five notes” to absolutely smashing it. There's also a great chat about perfect pitch, the reality of conducting, and the surprising hardest part of being in an orchestra. It's a mix of funny stories, honest moments, and a really good reminder of why doing hard things properly still matters. With 166 standing ovations in a single address, the State of the Union revealed more than policy priorities — it exposed the heart of America. Kevin and Bill review the real accomplishments along with the issues left unaddressed, in Trump's 2026 State of the Union address.
Last night's State of the Union brought big moments—and Joe Pags breaks down his favorites. From the strongest applause lines to the most powerful themes, he walks you through what landed and why it mattered. But the real fireworks? Some Democrats refusing to stand—even for American citizens being honored. Pags calls it out, then plays their own defenses back so you can decide. Callers light up the lines with their favorite moments, biggest surprises, and sharpest takes. It's a high-energy, can't-miss recap of a major speech—with plenty of Pags-style commentary and crowd reaction woven in. Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices

It's a two-part episode as Alex and Sarah reunite after a few weeks out in the wild! Social media is all abuzz with clips of Rachel Zegler's performance of "Don't Cry For Me Argentinia" in Evita at The London Palladium. The only ones not talking about it? Theatre critics – who have to wait until early July to give their verdicts on the show. With weeks of embargoes, are critics having a tough time either cutting through the social media noise, or even being able to say anything before a show's initial excitement has died down? Separately, Sarah has some thoughts on the increasing trend towards the obligatory standing ovation – do more audiences need to sit down and stop rocking the boat? Hosted on Acast. After a rough stretch in Big 12 play, the Cincinnati Bearcats men's basketball team is suddenly giving fans reason for hope. With back-to-back wins over UCF and BYU, the Bearcats have put up 80+ points in consecutive games and are playing with renewed energy and confidence. The 84-66 victory over BYU was particularly impressive, considering Cincinnati lost to the same team by 30 points just two weeks ago. This time around, the Bearcats dominated from start to finish, shooting a blistering 58% from the field and 50% from three-point range. Sophomore guard Jizzle James led the way with a breakout performance, scoring 24 points on 9-of-14 shooting including 6-of-8 from beyond the arc. James has struggled with his outside shot for much of the season, but appears to be finding his rhythm at the right time. Day Day Thomas continued his strong play with 15 points, while Josh Reed added 12 points and some highlight-reel plays including a thunderous two-handed dunk that brought the Fifth Third Arena crowd to its feet. Perhaps most encouraging was the Bearcats' improved ball movement and spacing on offense. They tallied 17 assists on 34 made baskets and looked much more fluid than in recent weeks. Coach Wes Miller's decision to play smaller lineups for longer stretches seems to be paying dividends. At 4-8 in Big 12 play, Cincinnati still faces an uphill battle to make the NCAA Tournament. But with winnable games remaining against Utah, West Virginia, TCU and others, there's a path to finishing strong if they can maintain this level of play. The Bearcats will need to string together several more wins to have a realistic shot at dancing in March. But after looking dead in the water just a week ago, they've injected new life into their season and given fans reason to believe again. Up next is a crucial road game at Utah. A win there would give Cincinnati its first three-game winning streak in Big 12 play and set up a potentially season-defining stretch. The Bearcats aren't back yet, but they're showing signs of the team many expected to see when the season began.
