Revelation is one of the most talked about — andcmisunderstood — books in the entire Bible. For many, it sparks fear. Confusion. Even dread. But what if the message of Revelation isn't about panic… but preparation? Not chaos… but clarity. Not fear… but hope. On this episode of the Stakscast, Pastor James Kaddis joins Erick Stakelbeck to break down what the Bible REALLY says about the end times and why Israel remains at the center of God's unfolding story. Are we living in the days of Noah — where the world mocks the warning signs while judgment looms? Why is anti-Semitism exploding globally after October 7? Are the geopolitical shifts in the Middle East aligning with patterns the Bible described thousands of years ago? Pastor James Kaddis new book The Last Book explains why today's geopolitical chaos isn't random —and why understanding the Bible's final book matters now more than ever. It's about being awake. It's about standing firm. It's about understanding the times we're living in. The world is changing rapidly. The pieces are moving. Learn more about your ad choices. In this episode, I sit down with Preston Sprinkle to walk through one of the most debated questions in the church: women in leadership. We trace the story from Genesis to the prophets, through the ministry of Jesus, into Romans 16, 1 Corinthians, and 1 Timothy 2, asking what the whole sweep of Scripture actually says about authority, teaching, and the nature of leadership in the kingdom of God. Preston shares his multi-year journey of wrestling with the text, where he lands, and why he believes we need deeper study and better conversations around this issue for the sake of the church and our witness in the world.Dr. Preston Sprinkle is a biblical scholar, speaker, podcaster, a New York Times bestselling author, and is the co-founder and president of The Center for Faith, Sexuality & Gender. He earned a Ph.D. in New Testament from Aberdeen University in Scotland (2007), and has taught theology at Cedarville University (OH), Nottingham University (U.K.), and Eternity Bible College (CA). Preston is an international speaker who's written over a dozen books including Does the Bible Support Same-Sex Marriage? and his most recent book: Exiles: The Church in the Shadow of Empire. Are believers judged by works, or by faith alone? What does the Bible actually teach about resurrection, judgment, and obedience? In this in‑depth Scripture study, we examine faith, works, and judgment through the lens of the entire Bible, not church tradition. Using passages from John, Matthew, Romans, Isaiah, Psalms, Luke, 1 Peter, and the Torah, this teaching explains the resurrection of life, the resurrection of judgment, and why works matter as evidence of faith. This episode challenges common assumptions about “faith alone,” explains why Paul is not a new Moses, and shows how first‑century believers understood obedience, holiness, and righteousness. We also explore early church history, the separation from synagogue worship, and how creeds replaced lived faith. This is not a works‑based salvation message. Salvation is by faith — but biblical faith produces action, and Scripture consistently teaches that judgment is rendered according to deeds.Topics include:Faith and works in ScriptureThe two resurrections explainedJudgment according to deedsIsaiah's “filthy rags” in contextPaul's use of the Old TestamentEarly Christian and Messianic faithObedience as the fruit of beliefIf you want a whole‑Bible understanding of faith, works, and judgment, this teaching is for you.Shalom.

Few topics divide opinion in the church like money. But what if much of what we've been taught about giving isn't truly biblical? In this eye-opening episode, host Catherine welcomes Bible scholar and award-winning author, Clifton Payne Jr., to set the record straight on what the Bible really says about money, tithing, and generosity. They cut through decades of confusion and misinterpretation, addressing the guilt-driven giving, prosperity promises, and toxic church culture that have warped how Christians view their finances—and God's character. Clifton Payne Jr. reveals little-known truths from scripture (including the fact that there were actually three different tithes in ancient Israel, not just one!) and explains how biblical principles of stewardship are often misunderstood or misapplied today. What You Will Discover in This Episode: The deep mistrust many Christians have toward churches when it comes to money—and how church scandals, manipulation, and legalism fuel that distrust. Surprising discoveries like the three biblical tithes, special rules for ancient Israel, and what Jesus actually teaches about taxes, tithing, and giving. Why tithing is a model—not a requirement—for modern believers, and how generosity should flow from gratitude rather than obligation. The crucial principle of "first fruits": why giving God our best and first, not our leftovers, directly impacts the spiritual life of our families. The freedom found in New Testament giving, where the heart matters far more than the amount, and how generosity can be an antidote to materialism. Powerful stories—like the unforgettable account of Otzi, an African woman whose tiny, sacrificial gift became the greatest offering in the eyes of God. The conversation is both practical and pastoral, exploring how to talk about money with your kids, build healthy giving habits, and reclaim joy in generosity—even if you’ve been wounded by church abuse around this issue in the past. About the Guest:Clifton Payne Jr. is the author of What the Bible Really Says About Tithing and Giving: It's Different Than You Think, a book that has earned recognition from both the American Bookfest and International Book Awards. Drawing on years of pastoral ministry and biblical scholarship (including studies at Hebrew University in Jerusalem), Clifton untangles scripture from tradition, helping listeners return to the heart of God in their finances. Key Takeaways for Listeners: Don’t start with guilt or pressure—start with prayer and let giving flow from what God puts on your heart. Giving first is a spiritual discipline that breaks the grip of materialism and invites God’s faithfulness into your life. Teaching kids to give as a first priority (not last, as our culture encourages) will shape their lifelong habits and trust in God. Generosity has enormous power to heal wounds, restore faith, and transform communities when practiced in freedom and love. Can Christians biblically support the modern nation of Israel—or is that a theological mistake? In this episode of Ask Dr. E, Dr. Michael Easley responds to a viral question about Genesis 12, political leaders quoting Scripture, and whether God's promises to Abraham apply to Israel today. Dr. Easley explains the Abrahamic Covenant as an unconditional, unilateral promise that unfolds across Genesis 12, 15, and 17. He addresses common misunderstandings about covenant theology, replacement theology, and the belief that the church has replaced Israel in God's plan. Drawing from Romans 9–11, Judges, Deuteronomy, and biblical history, Dr. Easley shows why God's land promise remains intact—and why it cannot be dismissed as merely symbolic or political. The conversation also explores how God works through history, governments, and flawed leaders under His providence, reminding listeners to be cautious of “clickbait theology” and oversimplified social media takes. Rather than offering partisan talking points, this episode encourages careful Bible study, theological humility, and a bigger view of God's redemptive purposes. If you've wrestled with questions about Israel, modern politics, and Scripture—or felt confused by online debates—this episode will help you think biblically and clearly. Joel Settecase tackles one of the most common—and misunderstood—claims about Christianity: “The Bible says you shouldn't judge.” In this episode of Worldview Legacy, Joel breaks down what Jesus actually meant in Matthew 7:1 and shows that far from forbidding judgment altogether, Scripture teaches us how to judge righteously, humbly, and biblically. You'll learn how to apply God's Word to moral evaluation without hypocrisy, how to distinguish between judgment and condemnation, and how to handle false teaching, sin in the church, and moral issues in a culture that hates discernment. Joel walks through both what kinds of judgment are prohibited and what kinds are required, giving Christian men the tools to think clearly, lead faithfully, and defend the truth with grace and courage. If you've ever been told “judge not,” this episode will equip you to respond with clarity, conviction, and a deeper understanding of God's justice and mercy.Calls to ActionJoin the Hammer & Anvil Society — the Ultimate Discipleship Community for Christian Men.Are you ready to lead with strength, courage, and faith? Spiritual abuse happens when God's Word is used to control instead of to love. But the Bible's true blueprint for family is mutual care under Christ. In this message, Pastor Roderick Webster explains the heart of Ephesians 5:22–23 and 1 Corinthians 7:4–5, showing how Scripture calls husbands and wives to serve one another in reverence for Christ. God's order is not about dominance but about divine balance—authority that protects, submission that honors, and love that heals. You'll learn:• The difference between biblical leadership and control• How “submission” is mutual in God's design• Why Christlike love always uplifts, never oppresses• How to heal from manipulation and fear
In Week 3 of our Unseen Realm series, Pastor Josh McPherson tackles demonology—not to stir fear, but to build faith. He exposes two errors (denying demons or obsessing over them), outlines what Scripture says about their limits, and shows how they harass, deceive, and accuse—yet remain decisively defeated by Jesus. The call is simple: submit to God, resist the devil, pursue holiness, and rejoice not merely that demons submit to Christ's name, but that your name can be written in heaven.Support the showThanks for listening! Tucker Carlson and Senator Ted Cruz recently reignited a centuries-old theological debate: Should Christians automatically support the modern nation of Israel? In this thought-provoking episode, Joel Settecase dives deep into the Scriptures—Genesis, Romans, Galatians—to dissect whether the Bible actually teaches unconditional support for the state of Israel. What does it mean to be a descendant of Abraham? Has the land promise already been fulfilled? And how should Christians view the Israeli-Palestinian conflict in light of the Gospel? This is not just a political episode—it's a biblical one. Whether you're pro-Israel, skeptical, or just want biblical clarity, this episode will challenge and sharpen your understanding.
This is part 3 of our response series on The Incarnate Christ and His Critics. Today we get to the heart of the case for the deity of Christ to see if it holds up to scrutiny. In addition to considering whether the name “Jesus” and the title “son of God” implies divinity, we look at the 8 major texts in which the New Testament allegedly applies the title “God” to Jesus, including John 1.1, 18; 20.28; Romans 9.5; Hebrews 1.8; Titus 2.13; 2 Peter 1.1; and 1 John 5.20. In each we briefly explain why evangelicals take the passage to teach the deity of Christ and then show what it really means in its context. Over and over we find that these foundation texts are actually built upon the unstable sands of manuscript differences, translation ambiguity, and strained interpretations rather than solid bedrock. Is all judgment condemned, or is there a deeper meaning behind Jesus' words? In this video, we explore what the Bible really says about judging others. We'll look at the context of key passages, examine what Jesus and Paul taught, and discover the difference between righteous discernment and hypocritical condemnation.
