Your body is a temple, so why not decorate it? Discover why witches love tattoos to cultivate or embody an energy signature. Consciously choosing your tattoos for your magickal practice allows one to integrate the energy of what the tattoo means to the wearer, similar to an altar. Join April and Maggie as they dive into magickal tattoos of their practice and of history. Amunet is a mummy that was discovered close to 2000 BCE. She is believed to be the High Priestess of a group of priestesses to the goddess Hathor that were found in Thebes together. When archeologists performed x-rays on the mummies, they were found to have concentric circles, lines, and dots, a lot of them around their abdomen and groin area, which they believe had to do with the sacred birth and a relationship to Hathor being the Goddess of earth and motherhood. The oldest tattoos that have been discovered are from a caveman named, Otzi. He has 61 tattoos which appear to have been very specifically and intentionally placed. The tattoos are believed to be ceremonial healing tattoos. Would you get a power tattoo for healing?

I recorded this BEFORE President Trump was shot and a rally audience member was killed and 1 seriously wounded, so it will not be addressed in today's show. On today's show, I share some RHONJ gossip, which includes a better explanation about RHOM Larsa Pippin‘s birthday party drama to do with Teresa Giudice guest CEO of Vinivia Marcello. Wife of the Party was there although she is owed $300,000 and is suing them over it. I get in touch with Asha who lost her inheritance to Vinivia. She's the one who wrote the Reddit that we have spoken about. I respond to your questions about Louis Ruelas taking the kids on dates per Producer Pat. I tell you the Melissa Pfeister drama with Pat and Teresa Giudice, remember Pat was the Producer of Namaste B$tches and then later Teresa Giudice's podcast Flipping the Table. We discussed Danielle Cabral‘s 2.0 charity event that she's doing. She drags Teresa Giudice and Jennifer Aydin on the invite. Melissa Gorga is doing appearances and I tell you about them. She also breaks her silence about her take on RHONJ next season. I share it with you and we discuss. SPOILER ALERT! I tell the larger Patreon audience about the RHOSLC Season 5 plot but more importantly I tell you about the exciting fights/drama happening behind the scenes, which are juicier than the show right now you'll see and the people involved will surprise you. The new cast member of SLC is dating an Osmond! Then I continue my paranormal kick this week and I cover curses and this leads me to my favorite three mummy curses, which includes King Tutt's curse, Polish King Casimir IV Curse and Otzi's curse. I tell you why I think they're real, even though they're is scientific evidence that some of the things can be explained. Don't worry, some of the things can't be explained and that's even more fun. At the end of the Episode I tell you how to break a curse if you have one or feel like you have one... this way we leave the show clean of curse energy. Hopefully the cast members from Real Housewives of New Jersey that listen to my show will gain some thing from this lol

Piero Lotito, giornalista professionista, vive e lavora a Milano. Ha pubblicato Intervista su Milano (La Vita Felice, 1997), i romanzi La notte di Emil Vrána (Edizioni San Paolo, 2000) e Il pugno immobile (Aragno, 2007). Nel 2022 è uscito Lo zio Aronne somigliava a Jean Gabin (Edizioni Ares). When German hikers Erika and Helmut Simon stumbled upon a dead body in the Oertzel Alps on 19th September, 1991, they believed it to be a recently fallen mountaineer, whose cadaver had been preserved in the ice. In fact, the specimen turned out to be 5,300 years old - older than Stonehenge and the Pyramids. The man, nicknamed ‘Ötzi' by the press, had been struck down in mid-stride, and was discovered surrounded by his possessions, which included a copper axe. His remains are now on permanent display in Italy. In this episode, Arion, Rebecca and Olly probe into the various theories about how ‘the Iceman' died; reveal what the post-mortem told us were the contents of his last meal; and consider the ‘Curse of the Frozen Mummy'...

Welcome to September 26th, 2022 on the National Day Calendar. Today we celebrate self awareness and a breakfast that's older than dirt. When singer songwriter Ellen Edwards began her music career she kicked up her heels with the best of them. Reaching new heights in 2020 she recorded a jazz album in the Big Apple with some of New York's finest. But even those who soar with eagles know, sometimes you find yourself grounded with too much responsibility. That's why Ellen wrote “Chicken Scratch.” Though her kids have all flown the coop this mother of three recently found life overwhelming and she turned to music for refuge. This time she found her flock in Nashville, TN. During National Chicken Month, you might be feeling like Ellen, with a thousand chickens on your back. Just don't forget that it's also Self-Care Awareness Month, and you can find your own patch of freedom far from the clucking crowds. Listen here for Ellen's song Chicken Scratch. Today we celebrate a 30,000 year old breakfast food, the pancake. That's right, the Stone Age folks were eating pancakes. Though they are not exactly featured on the menu of any cave paintings, scientists did find pancakes in the stomach of Otzi the Iceman, who dates back 5,300 years! When Shakespeare wrote about pancakes, the tradition of Shrove Tuesday already existed. And apparently quality cakes mattered in Elizabethan England. In a quote from the play As You Like It, “...a certain knight that swore on his honor they were good pancakes…” turned out to be lying! We hope he didn't lose his head! Whether you call them hot cakes, crepes or johnnycakes, don't settle for anything ordinary. On National Pancake Day, I celebrate with a dash of vanilla in the batter! I'm Anna Devere and I'm Marlo Anderson. Thanks for joining us as we Celebrate Every Day. Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices
