I had the absolute honour of recording my 100th episode with Cath Troy – and I'll never forget it. At 101 years old, she was still sharp as a tack, full of cheek, and generous with her stories. Cath passed away yesterday at the age of 101.If you've never heard her stories, this is the time. She grew up in Balmain, watched the Harbour Bridge being built, danced through the war years, fell in love with her beloved Cess, and told stories with the kind of sparkle that only comes from living a very full life.Rest in Peace, Cath - and thank you for giving us your story.Huge thanks to our Patreon Subscribers! ❤️Exciting things coming for you soon!Let's connect! ⬇️

One day while I was out as Jennifer wearing a low-cut top and fairly short skirt, I started wondering if how I dressed was a disservice for real women. Am I demeaning women if I dress sexy or somewhat slutty? This question turned into a discussion with a female friend of mine - as well as this episode!
In this milestone 100th episode, I sit down with the amazing 101 year old Cath! She takes us on a journey through her extraordinary life, sharing stories that range from her childhood in Balmain to life during World War II and beyond. This episode is packed with history, heart, and a few laughs. Here's what you can expect:•
We often find state governments squibbling about revenue distribution amongst the Indian states, however the core of this issue lies in the vertical devolution of funds. A significant mismatch exists: while 62% of revenue is collected by the union government, the state governments are responsible for 62% of the expenditure. This fiscal imbalance limits the states' ability to meet its spending responsibilities. To address this, Pranay proposes an algorithmic approach to resolve this complex issue. Notes from Pranay:We discuss:* Vertical devolution is the key challenge* Share of Cess and surcharge is increasing* Ideas to reduce the fiscal imbalance* Central schemes* Non-tax revenue* What is the root cause of this imbalance?* HomeworkReadings:Let the Fiscal Federalism Games Begin by Pranay KotasthaneFifteenth Finance Commission Reports for 2021-2026Related Puliyabaazi:सोलहवे वित्त आयोग के लिए तीन सुझाव। 3 Ideas for the 16th Finance Commissionहमारी शहरी सरकारें इतनी कमजोर क्यों है? Nick Zaldastani is Chairman and Co-Founder at CESS, a blockchain-powered decentralized storage and content delivery network infrastructure. Why you should listen CESS is a blockchain powered decentralized storage and content delivery network infrastructure. Users and creators alike use the platform for on-chain data sharing, whilst builders can develop and deploy DApps. Offering the most optimal Web3 solution for storing and retrieving high-frequency dynamic data, CESS reshapes the value distribution and circulation of data assets whilst ensuring data sovereignty and complete user privacy. By utilizing a decentralized physical infrastructure network (DePIN) model, CESS drives mass deployment of network nodes globally through incentives. Nick says, “Data Value Networks are the future, and it is time we get our data back, and take control of it. The evolution has been from Oracle to the cloud to decentralized databases for sharing content, but in today's world, if we don't own the data, AI will run it, which is ultimately owned by centralized organizations. It is imperative that networks of the future be decentralized, and anonymous yet support multi-party participation. CESS has its own blockchain, its own CDN, is chain-agnostic and interoperable, and is modular and can plug into different ecosystems. Combining these capabilities forms the basis of the Data Value Network that we provide.” Supporting links Bitget Bitget VIP Link with BONUS 1000 USDT Bitget Academy Bitget Research Bitget Wallet CESS Andy on Twitter Brave New Coin on Twitter Brave New Coin If you enjoyed the show please subscribe to the Crypto Conversation and give us a 5-star rating and a positive review in whatever podcast app you are using.

Poor Things has 11 nominations for tonight's 96th Academy Awards! Ica, Karen and Cess are back for this year's Women's Month edition. And girl, they've got a lot to say about Emma Stone's jaw-dropping *wink wink* controversial performance and what could be an Oscar's sweep for her second tandem with Yorgos Lanthimos. Caution Warning: Spoilers are present in this episode. As of writing, Poor Things has won Best Make-Up and Best Costume. The 96th Academy Awards can be streamed live here. Poor Things is a 2023 film directed by Yorgos Lanthimos, known mostly for his shock-value, absurdist films that go for the unconventional narratives. This film is written by Tony McNamara, adapted from the 1992 novel of the same name by Alasdair Gray. It stars Emma Stone (who also co-produces), Margaret Qualley, Mark Ruffalo, Willem Dafoe, Ramy Youssef, Christopher Abbott and Jerrod Carmichael. It does feature a kakaibang Emma Stone, in her most daring role yet! Same with Mark Ruffalo who deviates from the good guy to Duncan's, errrrr, well you gotta see it on Disney+ as well. We talk about how the film impacts us as women and the conversations it gathers about our own agencies in sex, careers, and the choices we take in how we live in a less patriarchal society. Watch the trailer here. We also wrote a detailed review from each one here. Do let us know as well what you've thought of this episode!

Introduction Trang is your mentor as you pivot, redefine your career, or transform your life to live out your purpose and potential.
