Jason Momoa was the FIRST one to audition for GAME OF THRONES and the LAST one cast a year later. His cousins impact on his life helped him make a strong choice that ultimately landed him the role. But it took him a few years and a couple of classes to trust his instinctive strong choices and learn how to "audition". BAYWATCH discovered him in his native home of Hawaii among a 1300 person cattle call. Jason responded to a radio call announcing the audition that would pay him more than the daily rate of folding T-shirts at the family owned surf shop. Jason's unique look has always made him a different choice but also made opportunities few and far between. So Jason, with many of his close friends, formed the production company Pride of Gypsies which has made Jason into an all around film maker, writing, producing, directing and acting. Jason will always be remembered for his unforgettable role as Drogo in season one of GAME OF THRONES. Currently, Jason is Aquaman in the DC Comics JUSTICE LEAGUE and AQUAMAN in 2018. Jason Momoa was the FIRST one to audition for GAME OF THRONES and the LAST one cast a year later. His cousins impact on his life helped him make a strong choice that ultimately landed him the role. But it took him a few years and a couple of classes to trust his instinctive strong choices and learn how to "audition". BAYWATCH discovered him in his native home of Hawaii among a 1300 person cattle call. Jason responded to a radio call announcing the audition that would pay him more than the daily rate of folding T-shirts at the family owned surf shop. Jason's unique look has always made him a different choice but also made opportunities few and far between. So Jason, with many of his close friends, formed the production company Pride of Gypsies which has made Jason into an all around film maker, writing, producing, directing and acting. No this is the sequel to the acclaimed Lego Movie that was out last year, instead it's just one of the many WB/DC Lego animation and this time it's all about the Justice League... it's a kid movie if you're expecting anything else from this description then you're already expecting too much from this film.

We start off with some current events including the official title of the upcoming DC Comics Justice League film, casting news for Pacific Rim 2, some bits about the new Warcraft film hitting theaters this weekend, and then we hit our main event, reviewing X-Men: Apocalypse. Hello Beastsiders!!  Today's episode is a grand return to our ongoing theme show series, THEMATIC For The People.  The theme here is music from the Street Fighter video game series by CAPCOM.  At the beginning of each set, you'll hear a remix of an SF composition---a lot of them covered in an interesting new musical style.  These fanmade remixes do great tribute to the originals, and take the works in fantastic new directions. Sling Shot's spread is all over the downtown Classic City district, with many venues featuring music artists (such as Kishi Bashi and local favorites Elf Power), stand-up comedians (Doug Benson of "Super High Me" and "Last Comic Standing" fame, Jonah Ray--who's been behind the scene on The Andy Milonakis show and featured on The Sarah Silverman Program, and Atlanta's own Josh Harris), technology/new media showcases, and fantabulous exhibitions of art.   Of Beastly interest is the Saturday (3/21) event at New Earth Music Hall.  That evening will be the site of the touchdown of the nationwide Japan Nite 2014 tour, featuring a fresh crew of musicians!
