I've been listening regularly since a few episodes before Alex came on board.First of all the combination of you and Alex is excellent. I like the fact that the two of you are on either end of the sound spectrum so it is very easy to tell you apart.There are many shows I listen to that I have a hard time telling who's who and that's important. You both also have different personalities. Alex is definitely the one who is capable of getting lit up (angry/excited) on air. Rob is almost always cool calm and collected. Perfect combo.To get technical I don't think "Spreaker Live show" is the best title for what you guys are doing. First of all Rob, you mentioned last week that most people do not listen to this show live. Most listen to it on demand. When I hear or see the word "LIVE" I think Saturday night LIVE or some sort of entertainment show.It's not that I don't think you guys aren't entertaining, but I don't think that is the primary reason that this show exists. "LIVE" should be saved for a show that Spreaker produces that has special guests from the entertainment world and so on.Your show is a HELP show. A SUPPORT show. A TIPS and IDEAS show. I know this is technical but I think it is important. “Spreaker Support LIVE” is a decent name. You know exactly what you are getting and people would probably be amazed that the Support department is going LIVE! Most people assume that it is very difficult to get in touch with ANY support dept. So consider that and play around with a name, Frankly Spreaker Support live says it all to me. I just wanted to let you know that some of my friends have heard my podcast on Facebook. They have told me face to face that they loved my stories and think that I should keep doing them. The word is starting to spread around a little about my podcasts. Sharing with people you know at work or places you go helps a lot too. I've been experimenting with sounds and changing the pitch of my voice to add my own characters. Sometimes it's good to have someone other than yourself in your podcast. That is the stage we are in now. Computers have been just smart enough and complex enough to often times be more difficult.- Think Siri, Alexa/Echo, Cortana and Android’s voice control platform “Google Now”. This is the future of podcast usage, management. - Did not say in the article, that apps and web or a combo of those will be important as well for discovery and management. Follow iTunes’ requirementsiTunes is the largest podcast directory, and the most popular, so it’s important to make sure your artwork adheres to its requirements. As stated in iTunes’ help section, they require that Podcast feeds contain artwork that is a minimum size of 1400 x 1400 pixels and a maximum size of 3000 x 3000 pixels, 72 dpi, in JPEG or PNG format with appropriate file extensions (.jpg, .png), and in the RGB colorspace. To optimize images for mobile devices, Apple recommends compressing your image files to 500K size max.2. Design it for scalabilityEven if iTunes requires min. 1400 x 1400 images, always remember that your cover art can get scaled down at any point, so it must remain legible even when its dimensions are really small. Starting creating your artwork with the smallest size first, like 600x600, 300x300, 125 x 125, 75x75 or 55 x 55. If it still looks good and you can clearly make out what’s there, it’s perfect! Podcasters: make sure your cover artwork looks great and is legible when scaled down.3. Use high quality images or vector graphicsThe last thing to keep in mind when it comes to sizes and pixels is that even if you’ve sized your artwork correctly, it will still look bad if the images aren’t high quality in the first place, and you’ll spoil the final product. It’s why you should use the same logo, fonts, and general color scheme for your artwork on Spreaker, iTunes, and every other podcatcher, as well as your website, social network pages, and accounts. We recommend you create a template for episode images, so that you can distinguish episodes from each other, yet still keep them consistent with the show’s overall artwork.5. Make it eye-catchingAs listeners browse through shows on Spreaker, they’ll be deciding in a matter of seconds what to pass up based solely on who has attractive or unattractive images.
