Maria Canals-Barrera is an American actress. She is known for starring as Theresa Russo in the Disney Channel series Wizards of Waverly Place (2007–2012), Connie Torres in Camp Rock (2008) and Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam (2010), and Daniela in the ABC comedy series Cristela (2014–2015). Canals-Barrera has voiced Shayera Hol/Hawkgirl in a lead role in Justice League (2001–2004) and Justice League Unlimited (2004–2006) and in a guest appearance in Static Shock as part of the DC Animated Universe, Sunset Boulevardez in The Proud Family (2001–2005) and Paulina in Danny Phantom (2004–2007).On the Show:Disney Fans Overrunning Austrian Village That Inspired "Frozen": The NY Post says the Austrian village that inspired the movie ''Frozen'' has shut down it's lakefront viewing area because it is being overrun by tourists. The town of Hallstatt has 750 residents. Over 7,000 people a day are now visiting the city because of the Disney film. Mayor Alexander Scheutz was left with no choice, but to shut down the viewing area due to heavy traffic and privacy concerns. Gizmodo says Disney is opening a theme park based on the movie ''Frozen''.The park is part of Hong Kong Disneyland's expansion. It will open later this year. The Liverpool Echo newspaper says a bar, inspired by the Top Gun movies, is going to open in Merryside, England. The bar is called Maverick's. It will feature a jukebox, vintage neon signs, an American flag and a Statue of Liberty. Owner Andrew Mikhail says, "Top Gun is my favorite film of all time and so the bar just had to have a nod to the iconic Tom Cruise film. There's one thing that holds true for all American dive bars: If you visit one, you're always going to have a story to tell later, and that is what we want to achieve with Maverick's". Uproxx says Eddie Murphy is in talks to star in the next Pink Panther movie as Inspector Clouseau. Amazon owns the rights to the Pink Panther franchise FanFest says Bradley Cooper has allegedly turned down the role of Lex Luthor in the upcoming ''Superman: Legacy'' movie. The film is going to be released on July 11th, 2025. Arnold Schwarzenegger wants to play Conan the Barbarian again. Ace Showbiz quotes him as saying; "It's been pending for the last ten years. [Fredrik] Malmberg owns the rights. He comes to me and says, 'Oh, I have a deal with Netflix' and when we ask Netflix, they don't know anything about it. It's one of those crazy things. I hope he figures it out. I think you do it like 'Unforgiven', where you play the age. There's a great script out there that John Milius wrote, and others have written one. The story is there. There are directors who want to do it. But he has the rights, and until he sells the rights for one or two movies, or for the franchise, there's nothing you can do about it."Arnold Schwarzenegger tellsThe Hollywood Reporter that he is done playing the Terminator. “The franchise is not done. I'm done. I got the message loud and clear that the world wants to move on with a different theme when it comes to The Terminator. Someone has to come up with a great idea. The Terminator was largely responsible for my success, so I always would look at it very fondly. The first three movies were great. Number four [Salvation] I was not in because I was governor. Then five [Genisys] and six [Dark Fate] didn't close the deal as far as I'm concerned. We knew that ahead of time because they were just not well written.”Michael J Fox tells Variety magazine that he doesn't care if ''Back to the Future'' gets rebooted. “I'm not fanatical. Do what you want. It's your movie. I got paid already. I don't think it needs rebooting because are you going to clarify something? You're going to find a better way to tell the story? I doubt it.”Christopher Lloyd, aka Doc Brown, says, “I would love to do a sequel, but I think Bob Zemeckis and [producer Steven] Spielberg felt that they told the story in the three episodes. But if somebody has a brilliant idea that would justify a fourth film it might happen.”
Today, I am talking to Joe Jonas. Joe rose to fame, alongside his brothers Kevin and Nick, as a member of the pop rock group Jonas Brothers. The band became one of Disney's prominent figures and even took the lead roles in the widely successful musical television film Camp Rock and Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam. Joe opens the conversation by sharing how he had come to love meditation and how this has helped him appreciate self love even more. We talk about his struggles as a solo artist, the realization that he needed professional help which eventually led to therapy which then led to the understanding that his feelings were valid. Joe is proud of his humble beginnings and how this affects our perspectives, becoming a husband and a father, and the value of staying connected to the people that you truly care for. It's time for Final Jam! We're back with special guests Gleek of the Week for part two of our Camp Rock discourse, complete with You're Reading Disney Channel and our definitive song rankings.
For your bonus episode of the week we watched Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam (2010)! What was going to be a quick mini-sode ended up being a full length beast of an ep, but thats okay because we finally got the Electric Boogaloo of a sequel that we deserve. Listen to us discuss why this movie is superior ro the original (despite the occasional cringe) and why, okay, it does make sense that we were all Nick girlies in the early 2000s. Digressions include hot girls and their stomach problems (again), Steve Harrington, and Maggie's awkward(?) dancing that is (maybe) a result of watching this movie in her formative years. --- This episode is sponsored by · Anchor: The easiest way to make a podcast. https://anchor.fm/app --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/slumberpartypod/message

I sängen ligger Demi orörlig. Hang in there okay, we are on our way. I'll let you know when they are outside. You should be hearing the sirens real soon, säger larmoperatören. Wait. No sirens, please, right? No, no, no. This is a medical emergency, I have no control over that. Exekutiv producent Anna Johannessen. Slutmixen är gjord av Fredrik Nilsson. P3 Musikdokumentär görs av produktionsbolaget Tredje Statsmakten Media.Ljudklippen i dokumentären kommer från Demi Lovatos egna dokumentärer Dancing With the Devil (2021) och Simply Complicated (2017), spelfilmerna Camp Rock och Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam, tv-serien Sonny With a Chance, tv-programmen The Ellen Show (2020), The Late Late Show (2013), American Idol (2012), Access Hollywood (2013), NBC:s Today Show (2010), ABC:s Good Morning America (2008), Barney & Friends, Grammygalan 2020, radioprogrammet On Air with Ryan Seacrest (2011), Demi Lovatos egna youtubekanal, samt youtubekanalerna TMZ, delena722820 och Jennifer Sansone.

Demetria Devonne Lovato (born August 20, 1992) — better known as Demi Lovato — is an American singer, songwriter, actress, and television personality. Like many other Diva Hall of Fame recipients, she is a product of the Disney juggernaut and rose to fame starring in Camp Rock and Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam where she teamed up with Joe Jonas for a duet on the Billboard top ten hit "This Is Me." Like many Disney child stars, she got a record deal and released albums with songs that skewed towards a younger audience. As her audience matured — so did her music. Demi Lovato managed to achieve several top ten pop hits with all going gold or platinum. 2015 growth and maturity as an artist and singer By 2015, Lovato had finally arrived with her biggest album to date "Confident." The bi-curious lead single "Cool For the Summer," which was frequently criticized for mimicking if not sounding much like Katy Perry's "I Kissed A Girl" (both produced by the powerhouse Max Martin), went on to become the song of the summer that year and was in most year-end top ten lists. The song is also was also embraced by the LGBTQ+ community and is considered a modern-era gay anthem. 2 years later, "Tell Me You Love Me" was released and the lead single "Sorry Not Sorry" was her biggest hit to date selling over a million copies and reaching #6 on the Billboard Top 100. While putting together this tribute set to Demi Lovato — one of the most gifted singers in pop music at the moment — you will hear elements of Kelly Clarkson (one of her idols) Katy Perry and others. This isn't intended to detract from her output but does showcase where musical styles were at as she rose to fame. Her most recent non-album singles "Sober," "Anyone," and "I Love Me" are her most personal to date and frankly would be massive hits if they were released just ten years ago. The first two are re-framed in Dubstep, while the third was given a Future House rework. These stellar songs are so relatable on a multitude of levels that they reflect what many people have experienced at one point or another in their life struggles. [youtube v="jW3aJ-3SEVU"] Continued evolution with a promising future Clearly the woman has continued to evolve and has partnered with other artists (Clean Bandit, Jax Jones, Cheat Codes, Fall Out Boy, Sam Smith and even Brad Paisley) stretching her credentials that only further solidify her achievements as a true artist. Of course the focus of all the entries into the Diva Hall of Fame is their contributions to the dance floor. Demi Lovato has embraced much of the EDM and House Music scene so she would be a natural fit for our newest induction. Party Favorz looks forward to what Demi Lovato's artistry will bring in the future as her music continues to evolve while remaining relevant to the here and now. It is with great pleasure and high accolades that Party Favorz inducts Demi Lovato into the Diva Hall of Fame. ENJOY! The recently released Rip City Boys remix of "Anyone" was added as a bonus to the original release.
