Durante a infância e adolescência, praticou diversas modalidades, como futebol, taekwondo, surfe, remo e tênis, onde chegou a ser federado. Nos anos de faculdade, treinou natação e corrida com a equipe de triathlon do Pinheiros, o que lhe conferiu um excelente condicionamento físico para o surfe e o futebol. Formou-se e focou no trabalho por alguns bons anos, treinando esporadicamente. Só em 2016, após o nascimento da primeira filha, incentivado por seu cunhado, decidiu voltar a se dedicar mais seriamente ao esporte. Comprou uma bicicleta e estreou em uma prova de triathlon. Em 2018, sua segunda competição já foi o Ironman 70.3 de Bariloche. No ano seguinte se dedicou mais e competiu no Ironman 70.3 de Florianópolis, onde garantiu sua vaga para o mundial da distância daquele ano. Quando decidiu que estava pronto para experimentar uma prova de Ironman, veio a pandemia e adiou seus planos, muito embora tenha conseguido manter-se bem treinado por quase dois anos, até a sua estreia na distância, que aconteceu em Cozumel, em setembro de 2021.     Para a sua surpresa, tudo deu certo e ele completou a prova em 8h29', foi vice-campeão de sua categoria e garantiu a tão cobiçada vaga para o Campeonato Mundial em Kona, no Havaí. Na prova, ele brilhou novamente, conquistando o 4º lugar em sua faixa etária. Em 2023, conquistou títulos como o de campeão de sua categoria no Ironman Florianópolis e além de um 15º lugar no Mundial de Ironman realizado em Nice, ele foi vice campeão da sua faixa etária. Já em 2024, repetiu o título em Florianópolis e o vice-campeonato na sua categoria no Mundial de Kona, consolidando-se como um dos grandes nomes do triathlon amador brasileiro. Claire de Mézerville López welcomes Fernanda Fonseca Rosenblatt, D.Phil., to the Restorative Works! Podcast. Join us as Dr. Rosenblatt discusses the critical shortcomings of the conventional criminal justice system in addressing gendered violence and explores how restorative justice offers a survivor-centered alternative. Survivors often face secondary victimization, navigating a system that can be dismissive, retraumatizing, or focused solely on punitive measures. Dr. Rosenblatt highlights research from around the world demonstrating how restorative practices—when done properly—can empower survivors, offer meaningful accountability, and provide justice that prioritizes safety and agency. She also dispels common myths about restorative justice, including misconceptions about mandatory face-to-face encounters. Dr. Fernanda Fonseca Rosenblatt is an Associate Professor at the IIRP. She also serves as the book review editor for the International Journal of Restorative Justice. She is also a member of the Research Committee of the European Forum for Restorative Justice. Dr. Rosenblatt has contributed to United Nations initiatives on multiple occasions, including serving as an expert reviewer for the latest edition of the United Nations Handbook on Restorative Programmes and as a Portuguese-speaking expert for the translation of the Restorative Justice Module of the Education for Justice project by the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC). Fernanda earned her doctoral degree in Criminology from the University of Oxford in 2014 and a master's in Criminology from the Catholic University of Leuven in 2005. This week was full of great tennis on both tours with Jack Draper playing some fantastic tennis to capture his first Masters 1000 title in Indian Wells. Holger Rune was the finalist, having himself a great week on court for the first time in a long time. Mirra Andreeva goes back to back Masters 1000 titles taking down Sabalenka in epic fashion to reign supreme at IW 2025.

Fonseca, AMV and the family are live from the Orpheum Theare in San Francisco Back to the Future: The Musical is a musical with music and lyrics by Alan Silvestriand Glen Ballard and a book by Bob Gale. It is adapted from the 1985 film Back to the Future by Robert Zemeckis and Gale. The show features original music, as well as songgs featured in the film ("The Power of Love", "Earth Angel", "Johnny B. Goode" and "Back in Time").Originally planned to première in London's West End in 2015, the year to which the film trilogy's characters traveled in Part II,[a change in directors delayed the production. The musical premiered at Manchester Opera House in February 2020, ahead of a 2021 West End transfer. It starred Olly Dobson as Marty McFly and Roger Bart as "Doc" Brown, with Hugh Coles as George McFly. The production received positive reviews in London and won the Laurence Olivier Award for Best New Musical in 2022.The musical began performances on Broadway in June 2023 and ran until January 2025. Bart and Coles reprised their roles, and Casey Likes played Marty. A North American tour began in June 2024.

On March 17, 2020, France, like many other countries around the world, went into lockdown as Covid-19 rapidly spread. Five years on, many infected by the virus still suffer symptoms, a condition known as Long Covid. Complications vary, but often include exhaustion, muscle ache, regular fevers, heart conditions and difficulty concentrating. Some sufferers have seen their lives turned upside down, having had no choice but to give up work and face family members who question if their illness is “real”. In this edition of Focus, Gaëlle Fonseca and Claire Paccalin met with Long Covid sufferers and specialists at the Clinique du Parc near Montpellier searching for answers.

But there's still plenty of intrigue with the ties between Liverpool and PSG, Real and Atleti and Barca and Benfica finely poised.  In La Liga, Real warmed up for their trip across the capital with a 2-1 win over Rayo Vallecano, while Atleti were on the wrong end of that scoreline in a dramatic late defeat at Girona. Meanwhile Barcelona's game with Osasuna was postponed just 20 minutes before kick-off following the sudden death of first team doctor Carles Miñarro Garcia. In Ligue 1, PSG's B-team made light work of Rennes to move 16 points clear at the top of the table - while Paulo Fonseca began his nine month (!) touchline ban as he watched his side beat Nice 2-0 from the stands to put themselves right in the mix for European football next season.  Max Callegari - host of Pressing on Canale 5 - joins us to run the rule over all the Serie A action, which included humiliation for Juve, a first win in six for Napoli and spookily similar comebacks for Milan and Inter.  And in the Bundesliga, there was history as for the first time in nearly 20 years Bayern, Leverkusen and Dortmund all lost on the same matchday. In France, Paulo Fonseca has been hit with a jaw-dropping suspension after a run-in with a Ligue 1 referee last weekend. The Lyon manager has been issued a 9-month suspension for confronting the match referee during Lyon's win against Brest. The ban will prevent Fonseca from being on the bench or participating in any official functions before, during, or after matches until November 30th.
