Gary Bettman seriously needs to put a leash on his officials as the referees have been out of control so far in these playoffs, changing the outcomes of more games than we can count league-wide, and Game 6 in the Washington-Carolina series was no different. A disallowed goal scored by Alex Ovechkin - which would've been his 2nd goal of the night - changes the momentum of the game and pushes the Hurricanes to a victory. Game 7 is coming up on Wednesday night in Washington.
Firstly, we have to apologize for the audio in this podcast. We had technical audio issues and I didn't realize it until after the podcast was filmed. If you're unable to listen to it due to the hiss and buzz, I completely understand. If you do make it through it, then you will here us chatting about what the hell goaltender interference actually is and how they can fix it. Also we recap each series so far in round 1 as well as talk about a few other topics. Thank you for your patience!
The guys talk about the Lightning's playoff chances, goaltender interference, and Jon Cooper's injury. They determine the Rays suck and Nick knows a lot about the NFL draft.

There was another debatable call made regarding goaltender interference to help decide the game between the Predators and Panthers. What can the NHL do to fix this?
Note: This episode was recorded on March 26th, 2018. After some hard drive troubles earlier in the week, we've finally got our episode to you! We welcome our first guest, Taylor Welling to the show! He's a friend of Daniel's and he knows his hockey, especially since he used to play goalie! We take a few minutes to dig into why the Blackhawks fell off the map this season and do a quick cover over who is in, and who is out so far this season in the playoffs.Since Taylor is a former goalie, we got his take on what exactly is "goaltender interference" from someone who has been between the pipes. Also, Tolvanen Watch has become a Tolvanen warning as he is in Smashville! Where does he fit in the lineup and should the Preds burn through a year on his ELC if proven the offensive powerhouse he was in the KHL? Finally we go over some power play stats and more #Pekka4Vezina stats as Matt as fully embraced the idea of Pekka being the frontunner!
