Voor Evert was elk huis met een openstaand raampje kassa. Alles wat in zijn zakken paste, nam hij mee, de rest verstopte hij in de bosjes om later op te halen. Alles zodat hij zijn volgende dosis heroïne kon kopen. Tot vier keer toe moest Evert de gevangenis in. Tijdens één van die straffen kreeg hij een bijzonder telefoontje van de politie. Een slachtoffer bij wie hij had ingebroken, wilde met hem in gesprek, want ze wilde weten waarom juist zij slachtoffer was geworden. Dat eindigde zelfs in een mooi gesprek toen Evert vrij kwam. Tegenwoordig heeft Evert het roer omgegooid en geeft hij tips om inbrekers uit je huis te weren. Jonathan was pas 12 toen hij zich aansloot bij Vatos Locos, een bende in New York. Zij hielden zich bezig met drugshandel en geweld. Zijn familie greep in en hij verhuisde met zijn moeder naar Rotterdam. Ook daar werd hij onderdeel van een groepje jongens met wie hij strafbare feiten pleegde. Hij moest 9 maanden de jeugdgevangenis in en gooide daarna het roer om. Maar zijn strafblad maakte het moeilijk een baan te vinden. Il Cigno è emblema di purezza e nel Medioevo, il nome, lo si voleva derivato dal latino canere ovvero cantare, in relazione al canto dell'animale dal lungo e flessibile collo. Brani sacri e profani si alternano in un contesto che in quel momento storico non aveva confini e testimoniato dai molti manoscritti di proprietà della Confraternita, gli stessi manoscritti da cui Cappella Pratensis ha attinto per realizzare la registrazione.
