Al maanden wordt er gezocht naar een advocaat voor Nederlands grootste crimineel: Ridouan Taghi. Gisteravond verliep een deadline voor advocaten om zich aan te dienen en morgen gaat Taghi's hoger beroep verder, maar de vraag is of dat wel echt kán. Want wie stapt er na acht voorgangers, van wie er drie zijn opgepakt, nog naar voren? In deze podcast vertelt strafrechtadvocaat Jan Hein Kuijpers wat je als advocaat bij zo'n besluit tegen elkaar afweegt en wat het betekent om in zo'n grote zaak te stappen. Kuijpers staat twee andere verdachten in het Marengo-proces bij en was in het verleden de advocaat van Willem Holleeder toen Moskovicz het werk moest neerleggen.
