The Context of White Supremacy hosts the weekly Compensatory Call-In 01/04/25. We encourage non-white listeners to dial in with their codified concepts, new terms, observations, research findings, workplace problems or triumphs, and/or suggestions on how best to Replace White Supremacy With Justice ASAP. This weekly broadcast examines current events from across the globe to learn what's happening in all areas of people activity. We cultivate Counter-Racist Media Literacy by scrutinizing journalists' word choices and using logic to deconstruct what is reported as "news." We'll use these sessions to hone our use of terms as tools to reveal truth, neutralize Racists/White people. #ANTIBLACKNESS The death of former President Jimmy Carter - who happened to be in the White House during the 1978 Jonestown holocaust, was completely forgotten by the time 2025 arrived. A reported Terrorist attack in New Orleans, Louisiana hours into 2025 resulted in15 people being killed when a motorist drove a truck over a pedestrian path in the French Quarter. The attacker, Shamsud-Din Jabbar, engaged in gun fire with the police and is reported to have had explosive devises as well. Hours later, a Tesla cybertruck exploded in front of a Las Vegas, Nevada Trump hotel. The White motorist may have been deceased prior to the detonation. President Joe Biden announced that at this moment, there's no evidence linking the Nevada and Louisiana attacks. A black male, Shamsud-Din Jabbar, is suspected of acting alone in New Orleans and of being influenced by the terrorist group ISIS. The Nevada attacker is reportedly a Colorado Springs White Man and former Green Beret who has not been connected with ISIS. Both suspects have military experience and spent time at North Carolina's Fort Bragg. Gus T. emphasized the number of black male veterans who've engaged in recent acts of mass violence. John Allen Muhammad, the convicted "DC Sniper" in 2002; Christopher Dorner, the 2013 suspected California killer; and Micah Xavier Johnson, the 2016 Dallas, Texas alleged "cop killer." #DryJanuary #TurnerDiaries #TheCOWS16Years INVEST in The COWS – http://paypal.me/TheCOWS Cash App: https://cash.app/$TheCOWS CALL IN NUMBER: 605.313.5164 CODE: 564943#

The DC SniperOct 24, 2022BackgroundThe D.C. sniper attacks(also known as the Beltway sniper attacks) were a series of coordinated shootings that occurred during three weeks in October 2002 throughout the Washington metropolitan area, consisting of the District of Columbia, Maryland, and Virginia. Ten people were killed, and three others were critically wounded. The snipers were John Allen Muhammad (age 41 at the time) and Lee Boyd Malvo (age 17 at the time), who traveled in a blue 1990 Chevrolet Caprice sedan. Their crime spree, which began in February 2002, included murders and robberies in several states, which resulted in seven deaths and seven injuries. In total, the snipers killed 17 people and wounded 10 others in a 10-month spanKatie Florsh joins Ed Opperman to discuss her findings while looking into the case. There's reason to believe the FBI had more to do with the events in 2002 than just an investigation…Did they have information they sat on? Were the assailants known to the FBI before they moved in on them? Were the events of October 2002 allowed to continue past where they could have been stopped to re-enforce the sense of paranoia and suspicion which pervaded the US in the couple of years following 9/11?Become a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/the-opperman-report--1198501/support.
In the fall of 2002, the DC sniper caused terror across the DC area by choosing people at random and shooting them from a distance. When his reign of terror ended, the world was surprised that it wasn't just one, but TWO snipers at work... and one of them was only 17 years old.The story of John Allen Muhammad and Lee Boyd Malvo is a fascinating case study on the importance of discipleship, because it shows us that we can disciple people really well... in the wrong direction. This is precisely what Paul is encouraging the Philippian church to keep in mind as they continue to walk the walk of faith. Paul's hope for them is that choose to follow those who follow Jesus. So who are you following dear listener? And are they pointing you to Jesus? What does all of this mean? Have a listen and find out! We're glad you're here, let's get into it :)
When we left you at the end of part 1, John Allen Muhammad and Lee Boyd Malvo had begun a killing spree that took them from Tacoma, Washington, through Arizona, Louisiana, and Maryland. By October 2002, they had killed or wounded 10 people, with Muhammad pointing his finger and Malvo pointing his gun. Malvo believed himself to be a soldier in the fight to free the marginalized people of the world. Muhammad made him his acolyte, traveling across the country, playing him anti-American propaganda through headphones as he slept, putting him through a grueling physical regimen, as well as making him eat a sparse vegetarian diet. Muhammad told him that white people were “devils” and that they had to prepare for the oncoming race war. For 30 days, they would kill 6 white people a day, until the US government agreed to their terms and paid them off to go away. True Crime Podcast 2024 - REAL Police Interrogations, 911 Calls, True Police Stories and True Crime
The DC Snipers Serial Killers Documentary Beltway Snipers At 3:19 in the morning on October 24, 2002, the FBI closed in on the snipers and their 1990 Chevy Caprice. During the month, 10 people had been randomly gunned down and three critically injured while going about their everyday lives—mowing the lawn, pumping gas, shopping, reading a book. Among the victims was one of our own—FBI intelligence analyst Linda Franklin, who was felled by a single bullet while leaving a home improvement store in Virginia with her husband. But now, the attacks—which had terrorized the Washington, D.C., metropolitan area—had finally come to an end. How It Began The murders that shocked the nation's capital and the nation itself had started three weeks earlier. On October 2, 2002, a sniper's bullet struck down a 55-year-old man in a parking lot in Wheaton, Maryland. By 10 o'clock the next morning, four more people within a few miles of each other had been similarly murdered. The attacks were soon linked, and a massive multi-agency investigation was launched. The case was led by the Montgomery County (Maryland) Police Department, headed by Chief Charles Moose, with the FBI and many other law enforcement agencies playing a supporting role. Chief Moose had specifically requested our help through a federal law on serial killings. Within days, the FBI alone had some 400 agents around the country working the case. We had set up a toll-free number to collect tips from the public, with teams of new agents in training helping to work the hotline. Our evidence experts were asked to digitally map many of the evolving crime scenes, and our behavioral analysts helped prepare a profile of the shooter for investigators. We had also set up a Joint Operations Center to help Montgomery County investigators run the case. The Beginning of the End The big break in the case came, ironically, from the snipers themselves. On October 17, a caller claiming to be the sniper phoned in to say, in a bit of an investigative tease, that he was responsible for the murder of two women (actually, only one was killed) during the robbery of a liquor store in Montgomery, Alabama, a month earlier. That set in motion a chain of events that led to the capture of a pair of snipers. Here's how the investigation played out: Investigators soon learned that a crime similar to the one described in the call had indeed taken place—and that fingerprint and ballistic evidence were available from the case. An agent from our office in Mobile gathered that evidence and quickly flew to Washington, D.C., arriving Monday evening, October 21. While ATF handled the ballistic evidence, we took the fingerprint evidence to the FBI Laboratory (then located at our Headquarters). The following morning, our fingerprint database produced a match—a magazine dropped at the crime scene bore the fingerprints of Lee Boyd Malvo from a previous arrest in Washington State. We now had a suspect. The arrest record provided another important lead, mentioning a man named John Allen Muhammad. One of our agents from Tacoma recognized the name from a tip called into that office on the case. A second suspect. Our work with ATF agents revealed that Muhammad had a Bushmaster .223 rifle in his possession, a federal violation since he had been served with a restraining order to stay away from his ex-wife. That enabled us to charge him with federal weapons violations. And with Malvo clearly connected, the FBI and ATF jointly obtained a federal material witness warrant for him. The legal papers were now in our hands. Meanwhile, on October 22, we searched our criminal records database and found that Muhammad had registered a blue Chevy Caprice with the license plate of NDA-21Z in New Jersey. That description was given to the news media and shared far and wide.

The week of two Johns continues today with John Allen Muhammad. A devoted family man and car modification enthusiast who took a young Jamaican immigrant under his wing. Then kinda sorta taught him how to kill people. Then they killed a bunch of people. Alright, maybe he was kind of a shitty person. And his alleged ultimate plan was goddamn nuts. Enjoy!

This episode, much like all the Mad Hatter episodes, will be exploring some graphic stories and details that may be a trigger so please consider your own trauma stories and experiences when deciding to listen. Mad as a Hatter. Do you know the story behind the phrase? The insanity behind the character? The phrase was used to describe someone who's crazy or prone to unpredictable behavior. Between the 18th and 19th centuries, hatters used Mercury in their creations. The Mercury poisoning resulted in what was believed to be insanity and chaotic behavior; thus, “Mad as a Hatter”, was born. The following stories are my picks for further discussion. How the impact of mental health, relationship challenges, and circumstances can lead to murder. While it goes without saying that a mental health diagnosis does not create a murderer. However, in these cases, a diagnosis left untreated, the opportunity, and the right catalyst can create a monster. Won't you come with me as we enter Wonderland After Dark? Don't worry, it won't hurt. Episode 4 John Allen Muhammad This episode is dedicated to the victims of John Allen Muhammad and Lee Malvo (known and unknown) A memorial to the victims of the D.C. area sniper attacks is located at Brookside Gardens in Wheaton, Maryland.[An additional memorial was constructed in 2014 in the government plaza of Rockville, Maryland.

See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
In October of 2002, the DC Snipers terrorized residents of Washington DC, Virginia, and Maryland for three weeks. During that time, people lived in constant fear that they'd be killed - shot down - while in the midst of doing normally safe and benign daily activities like pumping gas, waiting for the bus, or even just walking across a parking lot to do some shopping. In total, ten people would be murdered, three people were critically injured, and others would be randomly shot at. Hundreds of FBI agents and local police officers would work this case before it was over. They were desperate to catch the man who was dubbed the DC Sniper or Beltway Sniper by the media. Except it wasn't one man. Investigators were looking for a lone, white, male gunman. They had no idea how wrong their profile was. When it was all over, 41-year-old John Muhammad and 17-year-old Lee Boyd Malvo - both black - would be arrested. And now the authorities had to unravel the strange father-son relationship between the two, and uncover their motive for their shootings. And that is a lot of what we look into today. Their relationship, more akin to cult leader and cult follower than it was to the normal killing duo dynamic. Hope you find this story as interesting as I do! For three weeks in the year 2002, an Army vet and a seventeen-year-old kid crisscrossed the Washington DC area doing one thing: murdering innocent people chosen at random. Did they do it to extort ten million dollars from the government to start a utopian society? Or was it to murder a wife, and take back custody of children? And why would a young man follow so aimlessly the orders of another, ultimately becoming the man responsible for weeks of shootings? This is the story of John Allen Muhammad and Lee Boyd Malvo. The DC Snipers.
There are countless theories as to what motivates serial murderers to do what they do...but there's one kind of killer that has long perplexed experts. The "one and done" killers. People who commit one single murder in their lifetime, and just go about the rest of their lives like nothing ever happened. What is their motivation? A crime of passion? Greed? Or did they satiate some sort of urge inside, and never felt the need to repeat the crime? It's these types of killers who are explored in the new Discovery Plus documentary, Unraveled: Once A Killer. And we had the chance to talk to host Alexis Linkletter all about it....and then, we went even further into what makes killers do what they do with a phone call from a listener who worked with John Allen Muhammad, one of the infamous DC Snipers.

Between February and October 2002, random shootings occurred in Washington D.C. , Virginia, Maryland, Washington, Alabama, and Louisiana. Many victims were shot at gas stations and in large parking lots of stores. Fear spread through communities and the shootings were at random. Many witnesses claimed they saw a white box truck speeding away from the crime scenes, which then got out to the media. Of course, this information caused suspicion of anyone with a white van or truck. As many law enforcement agencies (both local and federal) investigated the shootings, they notice that some of the evidence was the same. It was determined that two men were responsible, John Allen Muhammad, 41, and Lee Boyd Malvo, 17. Authorities closed in on them, after a man spotted two men sleeping in a 1990s dark blue Chevy Caprice. The two men were arrested and eventually tried for their crimes. In total 17 people died and 10 were wounded as a result of these attaks 65
When the DC Snipers terrorized the Washington, DC area in 2002, few realized that the killers were motivated by a movie. John Allen Muhammad and Lee Boyd Malvo watched The Matrix before their shootings. The film inspired their mission to create chaos and change a world that they believed had been overtaken by an oppressive system. To Muhammed and Malvo, everyone was part of that system and had to be eliminated. Like what you hear and want more true crime and mystery? Go to https://www.reelz.com/
Muhammad and his 17 year old accomplice were known in the DC area for sniping and killing innocent bystanders. His 17 year all accomplice was given three life sentences. However, Mohammed was sentenced to death in which he received a lethal injection on November 20th 2009.

We talk about the time on 9/5/2002, he was shot while leaving his restaurant and immediately became part of one of the largest criminal cases in U.S. history. It turned out he was shot by Lee Boyd #Malvo who, along with John Allen #Muhammad, shot and killed more than a dozen people and injured others.
In part one of the DC Sniper the THRE3 of us discuss the backgrounds of John Allen Muhammad and Lee Boyd Malvo, and how they met by chance on the island of Antigua.
"I was waiting to die. I was praying”. A Capital gazette reporter describes the terror caused by mass shooter Jarrod Ramos. Six survivors testified in his trial. A photographer said he "felt the wind against his neck” as shotgun pellets whizzed past his head and narrowly missed killing him.“Delusional.” That's how a renowned psychiatric describes Ramos. An expert who specializes in violent behavior, she's previously evaluated high profile killers like Mark David Chapman, who shot former Beatle John Lennon, Beltway sniper John Allen Muhammad, and serial killer Ted Bundy. Now the jury must decide if Ramos suffers from mental illness that makes him unable to appreciate the "criminality of his acts". If they decide Ramos is criminally responsible for the murders, he'll be sentenced to life in prison. If they decide he's not criminally responsible, he be sent to a psychiatric hospital. This podcast lets you decide for yourself through evidence presented the jury.

It sounds like something out of a thriller film; the public is held hostage by a killer who chooses his victims at random. In October of 2002 this was the terrifying reality for the people living in and around Washington, D.C. For the better part of a month, John Allen Muhammad and Lee Boyd Malvo methodically killed and wounded everyday people going about their lives. As the number of victims rose, so did the sense of urgency, and only a massive, coordinated effort would put an end to the terror. --- Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/patrick-conn/support

For three weeks in October 2002, the Washington DC area was terrorized by a series of sniper attacks. Someone was randomly shooting and killing people throughout the district, and the Maryland and Virginia suburbs. Piecing together scant eyewitness Clues, police began searching for the gunman, and ultimately found, and arrested, 41 year old John Allen Muhammad and 17 year old Lee Boyd Malvo. Both were eventually convicted, and John Allen Muhammad was sentenced to death. In the fall of 2009, I met Muhammad's wife, Mildred. Muhammad had planned to kill her, in a custody dispute over their children, and make her death appear to be one of the series of random sniper killings.
In the fall of October 2002, a series of seemingly random shootings occurred in and around Washington, D.C. The country was still reeling from the events of September 11, 2001, and these shootings were terrifying. The authorities figured out the shootings extended to multiple states. They eventually identified the snipers as 41-year-old John Allen Muhammad and 17-year-old Lee Boyd Malvo. Join Mike and Morf as they discuss the senseless and terrifying acts of Muhammad and Malvo. In a relatively short period of time, police believe the pair murdered at least 15 people and injured over a dozen more. But who were they? #043 - For three weeks in October 2002, the areas of Washington D.C., Maryland, and Virginia were terrorized by a series of coordinated shootings. Innocent people were being gunned down at gas stations, bus stops, and while just walking down the street. At the end of the rampage, 17 people would be murdered and 10 people would be seriously injured. The killers became known in the media as the D.C. Snipers, and their attacks would forever be remembered as the Beltway Sniper Attacks.Support My Work:If you enjoy my podcast and would like to get early access to new episodes, have access to exclusive bonus content, or just want to support what I'm doing, please visit our Patreon page: https://www.patreon.com/forensictalesOther ways you can support the show are telling your family and friends about it and leaving a rating with a review.Support the show (https://www.patreon.com/forensictales)

New Copycat Killers podcasts drop each Thursday. Next week, Forensic Psychologist Dr. J. This week's story has a personal connection. One year after 9/11, the DC area was targeted by terrorists once again. John Allen Muhammad and Lee Boyd Malvo spent weeks randomly targeting unsuspecting citizens at gas stations, restaurants, and stores and killing them with a rifle. It seemed as if no one, anywhere was safe. Some experts say domestic violence is a common thread in mass shootings. Mildred Muhammad, D.C. Sniper John Allen Muhammad's ex-wife, said she knows about the connection first-hand. She joins me in the BalmShelter to describe her living nightmare. It is not just “a” story – it is “one of the many” stories built on the experiences of domestic violence and the depths of its terror. After her children were kidnapped and her inability to go on living without them, she began the silent struggle of looking for them, knowing that if she exposed herself, John Allen Muhammad would locate her and kill her. She was triumphant in her struggle to get through those 18 months of not knowing where her children were and re-gained full custody of them. She fled from her estranged husband and moved to Maryland with the children. She was frightened during the horrific sniper shootings, sat through court proceedings during the trial, and last but not least, began re-gaining her strength to start a non-profit organization, After The Trauma, to assist survivors of domestic violence.
Please welcome special WOMENACE, award-winning, global keynote speaker Mildred Muhammad – formerly married to the DC Sniper, John Allen Muhammad. Did you know John was killing innocent people as a cover because he was planning to kill his estranged wife and play the part of grieving husband to win custody of their children? Mildred explains the reasons for the long media blackout of this information as well as many of her other truths that are finally being heard.

The Beltway Snipers. Washington, D.C. October, 2002. Fear grips the beltway as random people are shot dead in public by a hidden shooter. Parking lots and gas stations were no longer safe. A single gunshot would be heard and then someone would fall. Five were shot dead on October 3rd alone. The threat caused people to look around and to be on guard. Men, women, and even kids were targets for whoever was behind the attacks. For more than 20 days the attacks and even taunts from the killer continued until a call from a man alerted authorities to the location of the two responsible for the crimes. But the Beltway attacks were not the whole story. The pair had shot others before October and the reason behind the spree killings seemed to be rage. John Allen Muhammad and his teenage co-conspirator Lee Boyd Malvo wanted to terrorize the public and bring the system down. For Muhammad, losing his children in a custody battle with his ex-wife may have been the last straw.
While married to the D.C. sniper, John Allen Muhammad, Mildred Muhammad was intimidated into silence about the domestic abuse she suffered. Her 2009 memoir, Scared Silent, was widely acclaimed, and she now returns with the follow-up. Author, speaker, advocate and survivor, Mildred Muhammad has risen to become a voice for other victims and survivors, especially for the 80% who do not have physical scars to prove they are victims. For more information, please visit the website: www.MildredMuhammad.com Segment 1 Mildred Muhammad discusses: * Moving past the events and creating a new normal for herself and her children * Describing the victim-blaming she went through * What we are doing now * Tips for assisting those who are trying to leave an abusive relationship? * What can bystanders do to help victims of domestic violence without putting themselves in harms way? SEGMENT 2 Dr Michele / Rich / Ted JFK Runway Recap Segment 3 Melanoma w/Dr Michele Melanoma is the deadliest form of skin cancer and it is estimated that 87K Americans will be diagnosed this year alone. http://on.today.com/2oYdQrh Recently, a pregnant New Jersey woman died after abdominal pain turned out to be deadly melanoma. It was reported that the NJ mom was first diagnosed in 2015 when she had a suspicious mole removed but continued skin checkups every 3 months. Doctors commonly tell patients that their moles may darken, grow and change during pregnancy, which is true but that does not mean that all of these changes are benign. They could signify cancerous changes. What should pregnant woman be aware of? How fast can melanoma spread? Do doctors perform skin biopsies on pregnant women? SEGMENT 4 Rich - Four Avatars?!?!?!?
