Meghan comes from veteran rich family that grandfathers (Army), Dad (Navy), Stepdad (Marines), and her husband who is a Marine. In 2019, Meghan was diagnosed and treated for breast cancer. During her treatment, Meghan's husband suggested that they have their GSD Fiona trained to be a support dog. Today, Meghan is 3 years cancer free and still has a wonderful support dog. About a year ago, Meghan met Joe Gionti from K9 Heroes 4 Heroes. Given her passion for her SD and having a strong veteran family background, everything fell into place. Now Meghan and her husband have started the K9 Heroes 4 Heroes Kansas City chapter, expanding the reach of this amazing organization.

Rebecca Tegtmeyer is a graphic design educator and practitioner. Through her active research, writing, making, and teaching agenda she investigates the role of a designer and the creative process through a variety of forms – from static to dynamic, time-based to print. Working both individually and collaboratively, she approaches design as a catalyst in facilitating systems that challenge and inspire – further extending the capabilities and responsibilities of a designer in today's complex world. Current collaborative research projects focus on prioritizing the student experience and strengthening the values of design education. She is also examining the role of hand sewing in designing data visualizations that bring awareness to the economic inequities of motherhood. Currently, Rebecca is an Associate Professor and the Associate Chairperson in the Department of Art, Art History, and Design at Michigan State University. She teaches undergraduates and graduates in the areas of interaction design, motion design, typography, user experience, and branding design. She is an active contributor to both the BFA in Graphic Design and the BA in Experience Architecture degree programs. Marty Maxwell Lane is a graphic design educator, maker, researcher, and writer. Her research focuses on design that facilitates learning and empowerment through investigations pertaining to design pedagogy, collaboration, and participatory design. Her active role in the design community has led her to present at competitive conferences in Cyprus, Berlin, London, Rome, Toronto, and the United States. Marty served as a regular contributor to the design magazine Parse (subsidiary of How magazine) and several other academic journals, magazines, and books such as Failing Forward and Type Rules! The Designer's Guide to Professional Typography. As a long-time AIGA member, Marty has served on numerous boards, including as Director of Education for the Kansas City Chapter, Co-chair of the national AIGA Design Educators Steering Committee, and AIGA National Board Member. She is currently an advisor for the Northwest Arkansas Chapter. Marty is currently an Associate Professor of Graphic Design in the School of Art at the University of Arkansas, where she also serves as the Director of the School. Mike has provided Complex Rehabilitation Technology Equipment (CRT) and assisted clinicians and case manager in achieving great outcomes for their clients for 30 years.  Mike was among the first group of mobility professionals to sit for the RESNA ATP credentialing exam in 1997 earning his ATP (Assistive Technology Professional) credential.  Mike has been a registrant of NRRTS (National Registry of Rehabilitation Technology Suppliers) and maintained his CRTS (Certified Rehabilitation Technology Supplier) certification since 1994.  Mike has served as President of NRRTS's and remains active within the organization as current Review Chair for Region C.  Mike was awarded the Simon Margolis Fellow Award for having made long standing and significant contributions to NRRTS and the CRT profession.  Mike has served on the RESNA Professional Standards Board as Chair and served on the complaint's resolution committee.  Mike has been an active member of the Kansas City Chapter of CMSA for over 25 years.  Mike has assisted case managers and consumers in obtaining custom wheelchairs and seating systems and maintains a strong passion to ensure all goals are met and best outcomes are achieved.Mike has presented nationally to equipment providers, Physical Therapists, Occupational Therapists and Case Managers on Complex Rehabilitation Technology.Mike continues to be a strong advocate for Complex Rehabilitation Technology education and for a client centered approach to providing Complex Rehabilitation Technology equipment to consumers.  Mike is currently the Vice President of National Accounts for Numotion and can be reached at mike.seidel@numotion.com

Andrew has over a decade of experience analyzing financial markets and working with clients to achieve their financial goals. He began his career as a portfolio manager and analyst for an institutional investment group in Switzerland owned by the HVB Group from Germany. Andrew managed the Activest Global Convertible Bond Fund as well as assets for pension funds and insurance companies. Since 2004, his focus has been translating the investment analysis used for institutional investment management and providing the same level of service to individual clients. Andrew has experience managing equity and fixed income portfolios in the US and international markets.   He graduated from the University of Tulsa with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and is a CFA Charterholder. Andrew lives in the Kansas City Area and is married. He is an active member of the Overland Park South Rotary Club. Andrew is President of the Kansas City Chapter of the University of Tulsa Alumni Association and serves on the Board of Directors for the University of Tulsa Alumni Association.
