Open to all middle schoolers in metro Atlanta, the contest required students to write about the river basin in their area, its importance to the community, and the significance of learning about river basins for water stewardship. Lamba focused on the Etowah River Watershed, emphasizing its historical importance and the need to protect it as a primary drinking water source and habitat for native species. She will be honored at an awards ceremony at the State Capitol. STORY 3: Cherokee County Man Sentenced to 25 Years Prison After Cops Find Over 17 Pounds of Meth James Aaron Aldred IV, a 36-year-old Canton resident, has been sentenced to 25 years in prison for manufacturing, trafficking, and selling methamphetamine as part of a multi-state drug operation. Aldred pleaded guilty to the charges in a negotiated plea. He was sentenced to 45 years, with the first 25 years to be served in prison and the remaining on probation. The prosecution resulted from an investigation by the Cherokee Multi-Agency Narcotics Squad, which discovered over 17 pounds of meth at Aldred's home. Authorities found that Aldred worked at the direction of a drug cartel, purchasing and selling large quantities of narcotics. Er sagt:"Als Steuerberater sprichst Du nur über Geld." Heute ist er selbstständiger Steuerberater, doch hat auf dem Weg dahin einige Umwege in Kauf genommen - Finanzamt, Beratung, Steuergestaltung. Konditionierung auf Mittelmäßigkeit - Nicht mit ihm. Mit gerade einmal 25 Jahren hatte er 2018 dann Diplom, Master und Steuerberaterexamen in der Tasche. Und heute? Kevin ist und bleibt auch als Selbstständiger auf Titeljagd! Von 110%-Sicherheit im gut bezahlten Angestelltenverhältnis auf 0%-Sicherheit in die Selbstständigkeit - wie ist er damit umgegangen? Welche Herausforderungen haben sich ihm in den Weg gestellt? Wie ist er mit Ablenkungen und seinen Ängsten umgegangen? Was macht ihn zu einem besonderen Steuerberater? Wenn Du zu einem Berater gehst und dieser innerhalb kürzester Zeit nicht nur Dein Geschäftsmodell versteht, sondern Dir auch 5 Optimierungen und Verbesserungsvorschläge mitgeben kann, hat dieser dann dein Vertrauen gewonnen? Was sind die typischen Fehler, die Jungunternehmer im Bereich Steuern machen? Unterschätzung und Überbewertung findet Kevin Kowar. Die Bürokratie lehmt mitunter so stark, dass man aus Überforderung gar nicht erst anfängt, sich damit zu beschäftigen. Welche 3 Sachen solltest Du laut Kevin in Bezug auf Steuern unbedingt beachten? 1. Übersichtlichkeit ist einer der wichtigsten Punkte. Eine Ordnung bzw. ein geeignetes System erleichtert Euch die Bearbeitung ungemein. 2. Eröffne für die Selbstständigkeit ein separates Konto und gebt Euch selbst ein Gehalt. Das erleichtert Euch zukünftige Investitionsentscheidungen. 3. Achte auf die Richtigkeit und Vollständigkeit Deiner Rechnungen und Verträge.
