La estrategia pasa por abrir un bloque específico de cuatro semanas donde el volumen baja ligeramente, sobre todo en las semanas más cercanas a la carrera, mientras la intensidad aumenta de forma progresiva. Todo ello manteniendo el estímulo aeróbico que sostiene la base. El objetivo es afinar a Sandra Yagüe, ganadora del Gran Trail de Peñalara 100k en 2025 y atleta de ultradistancia, para responder a un esfuerzo más corto, más intenso y con mayor componente técnico.  Llegar a una prueba como Zegama dentro de una preparación de 100 millas tiene que ver con ajustar el estímulo en cada fase, entender cómo responde el cuerpo y mantener coherencia en todo el proceso. Ahí es donde la planificación se vuelve realmente específica. Donde los detalles empiezan a tener peso. Este tipo de preparación requiere una lectura continua de la atleta, apoyada en datos, en experiencia de campo y en la capacidad de ajustar el entrenamiento según lo que va ocurriendo.Sandra: En Zegama-Aizkorri voy a correr desde un estado en el que pueda sostenerme dentro de mí durante toda la carrera: regular la salida, sostener la intensidad y llegar a la segunda mitad con capacidad de seguir respondiendo. We recommend the second-floor (attic) location, since adding a bathroom upstairs is more attractive for future buyers and improves the overall resale value of the home. - Greg in Ohio wonders if he can apply stone veneer over his old exterior glazed block building to improve curb appeal. We advise him that this project is possible, especially with a thin veneer, provided that he researches the proper strong veneer adhesive and ensures the underlying glazed stone is in good shape. - John in Bedford, New York, emailed us because his circuit breaker keeps tripping immediately every time he resets it, even though everything is unplugged. Your Stupid Minds sifts through some of Chris's $4 DVD acquisitions from Half Price Books and these things called "video stores" where our ancient ancestors used to purchase their entertainment wares. We start with the 1995 sci-fi direct-to-video low budget epic Galaxis (or Terminal Force), which some critic (we'll never know who) described as "Star Wars meets The Terminator." Starring Brigitte Nielsen, Richard Moll, Fred Asparagus (lol), Alan Fudge (lol), Sam Raimi for some reason, and professional Diablo III gold farmer Arthur Mesa. In a far off space battle that is in no way like the opening of Star Wars, Lord Tarkin (Craig Fairbrass) battles it out with evil space wizard Kyla (Moll). When Tarkin is betrayed by his sniveling wiener underling (Raimi) Kyla steals their magic crystal (which may be called Galaxis, the title is never mentioned nor explained) that gives them power or something. Ladera (Nielsen) comes upon Tarkin, who reveals to her that there is a second crystal, which she can use to defend the Sintarian people, or Kyla could use to destroy the universe or something. Unfortunately, the crystal is on Earth. Doubly unfortunately, it's now in Los Angeles (but good for the filmmakers, who already happened to be there). The film switches abruptly from a Star Wars ripoff to a Terminator ripoff, when Ladera teams up with a rogue-like drunk named Jed Sanders (John H. Brennan). They do some Terminator stuff and Kyla shoots them with force lightening. Meanwhile corpulent gangster Victor (Asparagus) chases after Jed with various Wile E. Coyote instruments of death, and two hapless detectives (Roger Aaron Brown and Cindy Morgan) traipse around 90s LA sighing and shaking their heads at all the violence.

John Miniotis, President and CEO of AbraSilver Resource Corp (TSX.V:ABRA – OTCQX:ABBRF), joins us to outline the key news this week of a strategic C$20 million non-brokered private placement of AbraSilver common shares with major gold producer Kinross Gold Corporation (NYSE: KGC) (TSX: K) and major utility company and affiliate of Central Puerto SA  (NYSE: CEPU) at a subscription price of C$0.40 per Common Share.
