The Law Abiding Biker Crew has decided we will be heading out from Washington State for a long group motorcycle ride in 2021 and will ultimately end up in California for quite a few days! Many of the crew here at LAB will be coming and we're really looking forward to this. California 2021, here we come! Additionally, we'll be hosting our yearly Law Abiding Biker™ Media group motorcycle ride and meet up event with our beloved Patron Members on Tuesday, June 29, 2021, which will start near Placerville, CA. You must have been a mid-level or above Patron Member for 3 months prior to the meetup on June 29th. That means you must have been signed up as a mid-level Patron or above by March 29, 2021, to be eligible for the meetup event. You also must officially sign up for the event with us and get confirmation. In August 2020, members of Law Abiding Biker™ Media along with members of the Sworn Few LEMC embarked on a 9 day, 3200-mile, 5 state cross-country motorcycle trip. This trip would take us out of Washington State and into Idaho, Montana, Wyoming, and South Dakota. We stayed over in cities such as Missoula, Montana, Billings, Montana, Rapid City, South Dakota, and Butte, Montana. There was an awesome day ride prepared for the members. We all met up in the morning and we all went on a beautiful day ride together. Squid and I have both tested a bunch of street motorcycle riding gear over time. Some of it worked and other gear now sits on a shelf in a pile of "what did not work so well." Official Website: https://www.lawabidingbiker.com I'm excited to announce that on March 11, 2020, at 6:15 pm (PST) the Law Abiding Biker YouTube Channel hit 100k subscribers! I knew it was getting close, so I pulled up a website that counts YouTube channel, real-time subscribers. But the catch is that the counter only turns at intervals of 100. That means the channel hit 99,900 and I had no idea when it'd actually turn 100k. I was recording a quick video with my computer screen in the background hoping I could capture it and I did! At the very moment it turned 100k, I was recording. I posted a quick video of that and my excitement and posted it on our Facebook Page and Twitter at the time. I will follow up with a proper YouTube video when I receive our 100k subscriber award from YouTube. Just days after, on March 16, 2013, we celebrated our 7 year Law Abiding Biker Podcast anniversary. Yup, our 1st podcast episode we ever released was on March 16, 2013, and we've been going strong ever since. I never dreamed this sort of thing would occur when I started Law Abiding Biker™ nearly 6 years ago! That Private Patron Member Only Motorcycle Facebook Group is the best community of motorcycle enthusiasts around & you're missing out if you're not in there. It is the best troll free motorcycle forum in the world and it's all about bikers helping bikers inside with courtesy and respect for each other. It is completely searchable and you can find topics of all kinds related to motorcycles. It has collected quite a database of topics over the years as you can imagine. If you can't find a specific topic or discussion in search, just post the question and bikers from around the world with all different experience levels will gladly assist you and/or guide you with their expertise. Many of the Law Abiding Biker™ Media east coast Patron Members can't make it west across the United States to our yearly sanctioned rides and meetups & we understand that. We are unable at this time to really travel on our motorcycles any further east for meetups and events because we here at Law Abiding Biker™ Media are all still working our other full-time paying jobs. When some of us retire at some point from those paying jobs and have more time off, we hope to be able to reach out further and get further east and even outside of the country for events. In June 2018, members of Law Abiding Biker™ Media along with members of the Sworn Few LEMC embarked on a 10 day 4500 mile 12 state cross-country motorcycle trip. This trip would take us out of Washington State and into Idaho, Oregon, Utah, Wyoming, Nebraska, Missouri, Kansas, Oklahoma, Texas, New Mexico & Colorado. We stayed over in cities such as Twin Falls, Idaho, Cheyenne, Wyoming, Papillion, Nebraska, Kansas City, Amarillo, Texas, Gallup, New Mexico, Grand Junction, Colorado & Boise, Idaho. In the middle of our midwest motorcycle trip, we met up with our beloved Patron Members in Papillion, Nebraska for an entire day. Our Patron Members support us financially, so we can help as many bikes as we can worldwide. Of course, our Patron Members get benefits and exclusive access such as meetups like this. The local Patrons had an awesome day planned for a very large group. We all met up in the morning and they took us on a beautiful day ride, which included a stop for lunch. We all had plenty of time to visit and get to know each other on a more personal level. We ended the day at a private location where the Patron Members and their friends and family had a feast prepared for everyone! We visited many places and saw a ton of great country on our midwest motorcycle trip. We stayed at some good and not so good hotels and motels. We ate at some good restaurants and some bad ones. We experienced good and bad weather and a few of the bikes experienced some mechanical problems that had to be fixed. We had some very funny times as a group and made memories that will last a lifetime. Everything that happened shaped the trip in some way. We are mostly moved into the new facility and this was our first official broadcast from it. This was a live Patron Member only live video broadcast. We had a lot of fun live chatting with our beloved Patron Members. We just want to thank everyone that helped make the new shop and studio a reality through our fundraiser campaign, Patron member pledges, donations, shopping in our store, and buying our premium videos. The support has been awesome and we could not have done it without the support of the law abiding biker community. SUPPORT US AND SHOP IN THE OFFICIAL LAW ABIDING BIKER STORE We talk about some of the things that got scaled back due to available funds that we can hopefully later complete. Overall, we got most of the main things done for the new facility and we are happy to be podcasting and filming out of it. We have air conditioning in the main studio that can run while podcasting! No more sweatshop! We have space in the shop to actually move around and film! My wife got her garage back and my daughter's got their bonus room back. They have all selflessly given those up for the past 5 years as they support our mission to help as many bikers as we can worldwide. Lurch and Big Daddy also recently built new personal shops. We do a roundtable discussion and talk about things you should consider when building a new shop and what the different options are. We all did things a bit different, so you should get some good insight. You only get one shot when investing in and building a new shop, so make sure you put some thought into it. 2018 Patron Meetup and Ride Details: As usual, the meetup and ride this year will be for Patron Members only. We will give some general details publicly here, but to get all the details to include times and locations, you'll have to communicate with us directly. This can be done in the private Patron Only Facebook Group. We are compiling a list of each member that plans to attend. We'll be in touch with you and give the full details as the date approaches. The one day event will take place on June 24, 2018 and we'll meet at a location near Papillion, Nebraska. We'll meet in the morning and do a planned day ride together.
