Meanwhile, in other big news, Bonnie is mulling a run for leadership of the Ontario Liberals and has launched an exploratory committee as a first step. She says that she is a centrist so how might that impact her ability to potentially lead the party down the line should she actually run and get elected. With only minimal improvement from 2020, the results are not a surprise to both police and the community. The police service has faced criticism after a series of high-profile killings of racialized men in crisis and questions about over-policing of certain communities, de-escalation strategies and whether the police should be front-line responders to mental health emergencies. If the service has launched anti-racism initiatives to address these concerns, why has the data remained significantly unchanged? The Star's Jason Miller, a crime reporter covering the Peel region, joins “This Matters” to discuss the recent report and what it means for the community. Welcome to Rebel Roundup, ladies, and gentlemen — and the rest of you — in which we look back at some of the very best commentaries of the week by your favourite Rebels. I'm your host, David Menzies. Good grief, not again! The war on farmers continues. This time it is the U.S. government going up against an Amish farmer in Pennsylvania… for reasons that defy logic. Our New York-based reporter Jeremy Loffredo has all the egregious details. And while other countries have suspended the COVID-19 injection program for youths, not so here in the Great White North. Oh no, Dr. Theresa Tam is all-in when it comes to getting kids jabbed for the coronavirus. So how is it that the COVID-19 science is somehow different in Canada compared to other nations? Tamara Ugolini shall try to make sense of it all. And letters; we get your letters; we get your letters every minute of every day. And I'll share some of your letters about a senior citizen who was deprived of life-sustaining medicine by the Canada Border Services Agency and Peel Police on duty at Toronto's Pearson International Airport. Her crime? Not sharing her personal medical information. And had it not been for the intervention of paramedics, this senior citizen might've endured a heart attack thanks to the stress she endured. Bottom line: these goons have proven how yet again Pearson is truly the worst airport in the world… Those are your Rebels, now let's round ‘em up…

The Roy Green Show Podcast - The PMO/SNC-Lavalin/Justin Trudeau/Jody Wilson Raybould questions continue to gain momentum and national traction.  Conservative Party of Canada leader Andrew Scheer joins the show to provide the CPC perspective and assessment. An online poll published by Macleans shows 73% of Canadians say Jody Wilson-Raybould has the most credibility, and 27% say Justin Trudeau does. What is the reaction from the Indigenous community of Canada to the question all of Canada wants to know the truth about? And how are Trudeau's changing claims and his treatment of Jody Wilson-Raybould being received by the indigenous community? Calvin Helin, lawyer and son of a B.C. hereditary Chief, speaks to Roy about this. Eleven-year-old Riya Rajkumar was murdered on her 11th birthday, Valentine's Day.  Her 41 year old father Roopesh Rajkumar is facing a first degree murder charge. What went wrong on Valentine's Day evening?  Did police miss an opportunity to perhaps save Riya? Toronto Sun columnist Joe Warmington writes today that even police are asking themselves that question. Across Canada, people are grieving over Riya's senseless death. The 'United We Roll' Convoy left Red Deer, Alberta, two days ago and is making its way to Ottawa. It is scheduled to arrive next Tuesday. It will be a pro-pipeline, anti-carbon tax protest which challenges Bill C-69 and C-48 – and it will be where there for the federal government to witness up close.  Organizers hope more trucks will join the convoy as it approaches Ottawa. Convoy organizer's Glen Carritt and Mark Friesen join the show from their trucks on the road, outside of Thunder Bay, Ontario. - Guests: Andrew Scheer, CPC leader Calvin Helin, son of a B.C. hereditary Chief, Lawyer, Top 40 under 40 Canada, author and public speaker; President and CEO of the Eagle Group of Companies, including the Eagle Spirit Pipeline project Joe Warmington, Toronto Sun columnist Glen Carritt. Roopesh Rajkumar, 41, was taken into custody near Orillia in connection with the death of his daughter Riya — whose abduction was the subject of a late-night Amber Alert. He has since been transferred to a Toronto trauma centre to be treated for self-inflicted wounds, according to a source. Peel Regional Police say he is to be charged with first-degree murder. Riya, whom police said did not reside with her father on a full-time basis, had been out celebrating her birthday with him beginning at 3 p.m. Thursday.
