Spring has sprung and we want Kumiko to get with the semi-lame trombone player. What's wrong with that? We also dive into some other new series and...well...we're really excited for the rest of the season to finish debuting.
On a Jon-less Rookie Pirate Radio, Travis Hymas (Me) and Ally Johnson take a look at the Spring 2024 anime season. We discuss new and returning series of interest, one that isn't worth your time, and lament the state of anime on one streamer in particular. It's a packed season! Here's what we talk about in detail: New series: Wind Breaker, A Condition Called Love, Spice and Wolf: Merchant Meets the Wise Wolf, Oblivion Battery, Sand Land, Whisper Me A Love Song, Go Go Loser Ranger!, Grandpa and Grandma Turn Young Again, Jellyfish Can't Swim In The Night, Kaiju No. 8., Train to the End of the World Returning: My Hero Academia, Demon Slayer, Sound Euphonium, Laid Back Camp, and the upcoming films for Blue Lock and Haikyu!! There's also a little bit of Jon slander, as a treat. We want your feedback! If you have any questions, corrections, or your own theories and speculation, please leave us a comment below. You can also email us (rookipirateradio@gmail.com) or join our Discord and message us in the One Piece Spoilers Chat server. Many years ago, people were comparing Attack on Titan to The Walking Dead in tone and structure. Today, those comparisons continue, only in a different form with its recent announcement. But to go along with that bafflement, there's a lengthy discussion on some other rumblings in relation to the anime dub production scene as the spring season prepares to launch, along with some interesting updates to various productions, the latest one-shot from the cinematic auteur known as Tatsuki Fujimoto (Chainsaw Man Part 2 who?), and yet another layer to the wild Prince of Tennis dub saga. #PrayforKyoAni @FautLANimer, @eparcurien, @naglaglasson, @Rienquedypenser.

She has an honest personality and doesn't approve of her father's election campaign or the customs of her family's Shinto shrine. (Shinto is a religion of the people of Japan. It focuses on ritual practices to be carried out diligently, to establish a connection between present-day Japan and its ancient past.)
