A handful of videos on social media depict a recent gathering, reportedly in Georgia, where a group of people were gathered to chant “Atlanta” is “Atlantis.” Supposedly they were there to create an “energy vortex” in order to summon the spirit of Atlantis and reclaim the city for black people. What exactly is this supposed to mean?Atlanta was founded in 1837 as a railroad terminus originally named "Terminus,” because the city marked the end of the Western & Atlantic Railroad. It was renamed "Marthasville" in 1843 and then changed to "Atlanta" in 1845. Some believe the city name is a shorthand for “Atlantica,” as in the Atlantic Ocean. Others believe the city was named after Atalanta, a mythologized heroin known for her speed and independence (the wild boar hunt and race against her suitors) which were qualities of the growing rail hub that is Atlanta. The mythical land and concept of Atlantis in some ways even predates Plato, though he is credited with its story. Writing in his Timaeus and Critias Plato derived the Atlantis story from Solon, an Athenian lawmaker who learned of the same from an elderly priest in the land of Egypt at the Temple of Sais. At the time, around 630-560 BC, the records were already at least 8,000 years old. Reportedly a global cataclysm destroyed Atlantis sometime between 9,600 to 11,600 years ago. Later on Francis Bacon termed his ideal city the New Atlantis or Platonopolis. The timeframe noted by Plato places the destruction within the window of the Younger Dryas, 12,900 to 11,700 years ago (10,900-9,7000 BC). It's one thing to be unaware of seemingly lost, drowned or buried history, but another to be so shockingly unaware of basic mythology and recent local history. It is understandable so many are disenfranchised by the lies and ego of mainline historical narratives, but the turn to Q-Anon, Flat Earth, Tataria, and World Fair conspiracies appears to be another layer of disinformation rather than the truth. A handful of videos on social media depict a recent gathering, reportedly in Georgia, where a group of people were gathered to chant “Atlanta” is “Atlantis.” Supposedly they were there to create an “energy vortex” in order to summon the spirit of Atlantis and reclaim the city for black people. What exactly is this supposed to mean?Atlanta was founded in 1837 as a railroad terminus originally named "Terminus,” because the city marked the end of the Western & Atlantic Railroad. It was renamed "Marthasville" in 1843 and then changed to "Atlanta" in 1845. Some believe the city name is a shorthand for “Atlantica,” as in the Atlantic Ocean. Others believe the city was named after Atalanta, a mythologized heroin known for her speed and independence (the wild boar hunt and race against her suitors) which were qualities of the growing rail hub that is Atlanta. The mythical land and concept of Atlantis in some ways even predates Plato, though he is credited with its story. Writing in his Timaeus and Critias Plato derived the Atlantis story from Solon, an Athenian lawmaker who learned of the same from an elderly priest in the land of Egypt at the Temple of Sais. At the time, around 630-560 BC, the records were already at least 8,000 years old. Reportedly a global cataclysm destroyed Atlantis sometime between 9,600 to 11,600 years ago. Later on Francis Bacon termed his ideal city the New Atlantis or Platonopolis. The timeframe noted by Plato places the destruction within the window of the Younger Dryas, 12,900 to 11,700 years ago (10,900-9,7000 BC).It's one thing to be unaware of seemingly lost, drowned or buried history, but another to be so shockingly unaware of basic mythology and recent local history. Freddy Silva is an author, a speaker and an independent researcher of ancient knowledge and lost civilizations, in particular the temples and other megalithic sites our ancestors built and left behind. The old cultures knew where to build these things to harness the flow of energy. In Freddy Silva's mind, they are portals.“All of these places around the world that we call temples, for lack of a better word, are located at seismically active spots, and the foundation on which they stand create an electrical charge or current along the landscape.”The builders also carefully chose the rocks they used to build their temples. They would sometimes go hundreds of miles to find the right stones, which have the properties to act as a kind of energy field.“All this makes the laws of physics act differently within these sites”, says Freddy.Very few of the megalithic temples were burial sites. This in the first episode in a series where I intend on laying out what my paradigm of the past is and my hope for the future. When talking of social change reference to the past is vital. It is natural to seek analogues from the past to observe what the "natural" arc of a civilization has been. It is from that perspective that first attracted me to Graham Hancock and his book "Fingerprints of the Gods". Through his book and Randall Carelson's repeated appearances on the JRE I became convinced that there was more to the story than the standard narrative was able to provide. This episode focuses on the massive climate shift Known as The Younger Dryas. The standard narrative for recession of the ice sheet is gradualism and blames the extinction of mega fauna, like the wooly mammoth, on over hunting by humans... with pointy sticks... I ascribe more to the alternative history of cataclysm that reset civilizations back to the Stone Age and in the fall out most mega fauna died off. The standard narrative has in it a belief that humanity, in a natural state, over consumers causing the eradication of animals and collapse of ecosystems, this is in contrast with the possible reality that humanity itself barely survived the cause of the extinction event and that the overconsumption of humanity today may be from a belief system and is not inherent to humans. This would cause a reframing of humanity from consumers to survivors. From destroyer to cultivators? It is here where I believe the reconstitution of the facts could help liberate the modern person towards the true purpose of Humanity on this earth, which I believe is to take a broken world and make it better.
