Understanding Tafsir: The Explanation of the QuranIntroductionAssalamu Alaikum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuh.Tafsir, the interpretation of the Quran, plays a pivotal role in understanding the divine message. Scholars have dedicated centuries to exploring and explaining the meanings of Allah's words. In this blog, we will examine how Tafsir evolved, focusing on the primary sources of Tafsir: the Quran itself, the Hadith of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), and the views of the companions and scholars.1. Tafsir by the QuranThe Quran often explains its own verses. When a term or concept is introduced, other verses may clarify its meaning. For instance, Allah mentions "Al-Qari'ah" (The Striking Calamity) and then provides an explanation:"The Striking Disaster! What is the Striking Disaster? And what will make you realize what the Striking Disaster is?" (Quran 101:2-3)Allah describes how people will be like scattered moths and mountains like fluffed wool, illustrating the Day of Judgment.2. Tafsir by the Prophet (peace be upon him)The most authentic Tafsir comes from the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). He provided explanations to his companions when they had questions. For example, regarding the verse:"Those who do good will have the finest reward and ˹even˺ more. Neither gloom nor disgrace will cover their faces. It is they who will be the residents of Paradise. They will be there forever." (Quran 10:26)Suhaib reported the Prophet (peace be upon him) saying:"When those deserving of Paradise would enter Paradise, the Blessed and the Exalted would ask: Do you wish Me to give you anything more? They would say: Hast Thou not brightened our faces? Hast Thou not made us enter Paradise and saved us from Fire? He (the narrator) said: He (God) would lift the veil, and of things given to them nothing would be dearer to them than the sight of their Lord, the Mighty and the Glorious." (Sahih Muslim 181a)3. Tafsir by the CompanionsThe companions of the Prophet (peace be upon him) were the best generation to interpret the Quran due to their proximity to the Prophet and direct understanding of the context of revelation. Abdullah ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him), known as the "Interpreter of the Quran," is one of the most renowned in providing Tafsir.4. Tafsir by ScholarsAfter the companions, subsequent generations of scholars compiled detailed explanations. Scholars like Imam At-Tabari and Ibn Kathir wrote extensive Tafsir works that continue to guide Muslims today. These scholars relied on the Quran, Hadith, and linguistic analysis to clarify meanings.5. Applying Tafsir in Our LivesTafsir is not just an academic pursuit but a means to implement the teachings of the Quran. For instance, the command to establish Salah and pay Zakah is often briefly stated in the Quran. However, the Prophet's detailed instructions on prayer and charity provide practical guidance."Establish prayer, and pay alms-tax. Whatever good you send forth for yourselves, you will ˹certainly˺ find ˹its reward˺ with Allah. Surely Allah is All-Seeing of what you do." (Quran 2:110)The Prophet (peace be upon him) said:"Pray as you have seen me praying." (Sahih al-Bukhari 631) Sunnah.comConclusionThe study of Tafsir strengthens our connection to Allah's words, fostering a deeper understanding of our faith. By reflecting on the Quran and consulting authentic Tafsir sources, we can apply its lessons in our lives. May Allah grant us the ability to comprehend and act upon His guidance. Ameen.References:Quran 101:2-3Quran 10:26Quran 2:110Sahih Muslim 181aSahih al-Bukhari 631

Understanding the Hadith of Jibril: Insights into Islam, Iman, and IhsanPraise be to Allah, and may peace and blessings be upon His Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). The Hadith of Jibril (Gabriel) is one of the most profound teachings in Islam. It encapsulates the core aspects of the faith: Islam, Iman (faith), and Ihsan (excellence). This famous narration, recorded in Sahih Muslim, provides a comprehensive understanding of Islamic beliefs and practices. The Story of the HadithThe Hadith of Jibril is narrated by Umar ibn al-Khattab (may Allah be pleased with him). One day, a man in immaculate white clothes approached the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) while the companions were gathered. Without any signs of travel, he asked about Islam, Iman, and Ihsan. The Prophet answered, and the man confirmed each response. After the man left, the Prophet revealed that it was Jibril, who came to teach the companions their religion. (Sahih Muslim, Hadith 8a)1. Islam: The Five PillarsThe Prophet (peace be upon him) explained Islam through its five pillars:Testifying that there is no god but Allah, and Muhammad is His Messenger.Establishing regular prayers.Paying Zakat (charity).Fasting during Ramadan.Performing Hajj (pilgrimage) if capable. These pillars form the foundation of a Muslim's practical obligations. (Sahih Muslim, Hadith 8a)Reference:"Certainly, Allah's only Way is Islam. Those who were given the Scripture did not dispute among themselves out of mutual envy until knowledge came to them. Whoever denies Allah's signs, then surely Allah is swift in reckoning." (Quran 3:19)2. Iman: The Six Articles of FaithThe Prophet defined Iman as believing in:Allah. His Angels. His Books. His Messengers. The Last Day.Divine Decree (Qadr), both good and evil. These beliefs form the spiritual and intellectual foundation of a Muslim. (Sahih Muslim, Hadith 8a)Reference:"The Messenger firmly believes in what has been revealed to him from his Lord, and so do the believers. They all believe in Allah, His angels, His Books, and His messengers. They proclaim, 'We make no distinction between any of His messengers.' And they say, 'We hear and obey. We seek Your forgiveness, our Lord! And to You alone is the final return.'" (Quran 2:285)3. Ihsan: Excellence in WorshipIhsan represents the highest level of faith, where a believer worships Allah as though they see Him, knowing that even if they do not see Him, He certainly sees them. This level emphasizes sincerity and devotion.Reference:"Establish prayer, and pay alms-tax. Whatever good you send forth for yourselves, you will certainly find its reward with Allah. Surely Allah is All-Seeing of what you do." (Quran 2:110)4. Signs of the HourJibril also questioned the Prophet about the signs of the Day of Judgment. The Prophet mentioned signs such as:The slave woman giving birth to her mistress. The barefooted shepherds competing in constructing tall buildings. These predictions signify social and moral transformations that will precede the Day of Judgment.Reference:"Indeed, Allah alone has the knowledge of the Hour. He sends down the rain, and knows what is in the wombs. No soul knows what it will earn for tomorrow, and no soul knows in what land it will die. Surely Allah is All-Knowing, All-Aware." (Quran 31:34)Final ThoughtsThe Hadith of Jibril serves as a cornerstone for Islamic learning. It reminds Muslims to adhere to the pillars of Islam, strengthen their faith, and strive for Ihsan in all actions. May Allah guide us in understanding and practicing our religion sincerely.May peace and blessings be upon Prophet Muhammad and all his companions. Ameen.

Understanding Fiqh: The Principles of Purification in Islam Assalamu Alaikum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuh. Fiqh, the deep understanding of Islamic rulings, is integral to practicing our faith correctly. One essential topic in Fiqh is purification, which is the cornerstone of acts of worship like Salah. The Quran and Sunnah emphasize purity as a prerequisite for achieving spiritual closeness to Allah. Here, we delve into the principles of purification, drawing from classical Islamic sources. Water: The Best Purifier Allah describes water as a source of purification: And He is the One Who sends the winds ushering in His mercy, and We send down pure rain from the sky, (Surah Al-Furqan 25:48). Water in its natural state—whether from rain, rivers, seas, or springs—is inherently pure and purifying. It can cleanse impurities and uplift both major and minor ritual impurities. The Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) also affirmed this when asked about seawater: "Its water is pure and its dead [fish] are lawful." (Sunan Abi Dawood, 83). This highlights that pure water retains its purifying properties unless contaminated with impurities that alter its smell, color, or taste. Misconceptions About “Used Water” Some schools of thought argue that water used for ablution or bathing becomes “used” and cannot be reused for purification. However, there is no evidence for this claim in the Quran or Hadith. Scholars like Imam Ibn Taymiyyah clarified that water remains pure as long as it is not tainted by impurities. The Prophet (ﷺ) said: "Water is pure and nothing makes it impure." (Sunan Abu Dawood, 67). Thus, even water that has come into contact with clean body parts during ablution can still be used. Types of Water in Fiqh Scholars broadly classify water into two types based on the Quran and Sunnah: Pure and Purifying Water: This includes all natural sources like rain, rivers, and wells. Impure Water (Najas): Water mixed with impurities, altering its essential characteristics, cannot be used for purification. There is no third category, such as "pure but not purifying," as some schools suggest. For instance, tea or juice, though primarily water, is no longer classified as water because its name and nature have changed. Practical Examples of Purification A common scenario involves water in a bucket during ablution. Some argue the bucket becomes impure if used water falls back into it. Yet, as long as the water's essential characteristics remain unchanged, it is permissible to reuse it. The Prophet (ﷺ) permitted ablution using flowing or standing water, provided it remained pure. He emphasized simplicity and avoiding unnecessary complications: The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "Religion is very easy and whoever overburdens himself in his religion will not be able to continue in that way. So you should not be extremists, but try to be near to perfection and receive the good tidings that you will be rewarded; and gain strength by worshipping in the mornings, the afternoons, and during the last hours of the nights." (Sahih Bukhari, 39). Conclusion The principles of purification are straightforward, rooted in the Quran and Sunnah. By understanding these rulings, we can fulfill acts of worship confidently and correctly. May Allah guide us to practice our faith with sincerity and understanding. They ask you ˹O Prophet˺ about menstruation. Say, “Beware of its harm! So keep away, and do not have intercourse with your wives during their monthly cycles until they are purified.1 When they purify themselves, then you may approach them in the manner specified by Allah. Surely Allah loves those who always turn to Him in repentance and those who purify themselves.” (Surah Al-Baqarah 2:222). Wa Assalamu Alaikum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuh.

Narrated by Abu Hurairah: from Jami` at-Tirmidhi 2646, Book 41, Hadith 2 : The Virtue Of Seeking Knowledge [that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: "Whoever takes a path upon which to obtain knowledge, Allah makes the path to Paradise easy for him."] As a rule of thumb, any hadith which contradicts the Qur'an should be considered null and void. Only the Qur'an is the absolute authentic text which has remained intact throughout. Al Qur'an is the word of Allah سُبْحَانَهُ وَتَعَالَى and Hadiths are just for our reference. May we receive mercy from Allah Subhanahu wa ta'ala and also receive guidance to gather sufficient supplies so that we are safe and comfortable in Mahsyar facing Allah SWT being entered into heaven by Allah Subhanahu wa ta'ala without reckoning and also punishment. Surah mentioned : - Surah Al A'raf 7, verse 175 - 177 : [ And relate to them (O Prophet) the story of the one to whom We gave Our signs, but he abandoned them, so Satan took hold of him, and he became a deviant. If We had willed, We would have elevated him with Our signs, but he clung to this life—following his evil desires. His example is that of a dog: if you chase it away, it pants, and if you leave it, it (still) pants. This is the example of the people who deny Our signs. So narrate (to them) stories (of the past), so perhaps they will reflect. What an evil example of those who denied Our signs! They (only) wronged their own souls. ] - Surah Al Baqarah 2, verse 243 : [ Have you (O Prophet) not seen those who fled their homes in the thousands for fear of death? Allah said to them, “Die!” then He gave them life. Surely Allah is ever Bountiful to humanity, but most people are ungrateful. ] Hadith mentioned : - Sahih Muslim 1747 : Book 32, Hadith 36 Chapter: War booty has been made permissible for this Ummah only “One of the Prophets went for a battle and said to his people, ‘No one should come with me who has just married but has not yet slept with her; and no one who has built a house but did not put its roof yet; and no one who has bought pregnant goats or camels and is waiting for them to deliver.' So that Prophet went for the battle and approached the town soon after he had prayed the ‘Asr prayer. He said to the sun, ‘You are commissioned and I too am commissioned. O' Allah, withhold it back for sometime.' So it was held back till Allah helped him conquer the town. Then they all gathered the spoils of the war and a fire then came to eat the spoils but did not eat it. The Prophet then said, ‘There is a person among you who has cheated from the spoils.' He then asked one man from each tribe to come forward and make a pledge to him. They all came and pledged to him except one man, his hand got stuck to the hand of the Prophet. The Prophet said, ‘The person who cheated is from your tribe, so order everyone of your tribe to make a pledge to me.' They came and when they offered their pledge to him, the hands of two or three people got stuck to the Prophet's hand. So he said, ‘You are the people who cheated and took from the spoils of war.' So they gave gold, equivalent to the head of a cow. They put it together with other spoils and the fire came and ate it all. The spoils of war were not permissible for anyone before us. But when Allah Subhanahu wa ta'ala saw our weakness and inability, He purified it for us.”

Do Islamic Inheritance Laws Favor Men Over Women? Why Do Women Receive Half the Inheritance Share of a Man?

“Allah commands you regarding your children: the share of the male will be twice that of the female. If you leave only two or more females, their share is two-thirds of the estate. But if there is only one female, her share will be one-half. Each parent is entitled to one-sixth if you leave offspring. But if you are childless and your parents are the only heirs, then your mother will receive one-third. But if you leave siblings, then your mother will receive one-sixth—after the fulfilment of bequests and debts. Be fair to your parents and children, as you do not fully know who is more beneficial to you. This is an obligation from Allah. Surely Allah is All-Knowing, All-Wise” (Quran 4:11)Islam is more than a religion; it is a way of life that guides humanity in all aspects of their lives, including providing guidance on inheritance. Islamic law allows a person to leave one-third of their assets to whomever they wish, as long as the beneficiaries are not amongst the remaining two third. The will is implied after the deceased's funeral expenses and outstanding debts are paid. The remainder two-thirds goes to the beneficiaries listed in Chapter 4 of the Holy Quran—a passage that some non-Muslims find controversial. Whereas Chapter 4 states that the share of a male is twice that of a female, females do not always receive less than males in all circumstances. There are certain instances where both male and female beneficiaries receive the same amount, where women receive more than male and scenarios where females get a share and men get nothing.  In many religions, women do not inherit from their families in any circumstance. At many points throughout history, women did not inherit anything from their families. They were considered property, part of the inheritance estate needing to be married off and relocated. On the other hand, Islam gave women their inheritance rights, stating that their reasonability determines their share--and not their gender. In some circumstances, females inherit half of what males inherit—but not on all occasions. There is logic and fairness to reinforce those instances in which males get a higher inheritance share than females—with these conditions given to us by our Creator, the All-Knowing, All-Wise, the All-Just. Because Islam has assigned males as the heads of the household, those who bear the family's financial burden, the men will often spend much of what they inherit back into the family. On the other hand, females are entitled to the entirety of their inheritance and wealth--and their husband's wealth. Women can keep 100% of their inheritance without spending or sharing it with anyone--even if they are wealthy and their husband is poverty-stricken. God has chosen men to be the guardian of their wives and family, whom they must look after and to whom they must provide food, clothing, shelter, etc. The man must care for and provide for those closest to him. For instance, a husband needs to look after his wife and offspring; if he passes away or neglects his duty, the next man in a woman's life will need to step up and care for the family, whether it's the adult son or the brother of the woman. It's important to stress once again that the reasonability of the sexes determines the share of an inheritance, not the gender. As a clarifying example, suppose the parents of a son and daughter die, leaving fifteen thousand dollars behind. The daughter would inherit five thousand dollars by edict of Muslim law, and the son would inherit ten thousand dollars. However, if she is unmarried, the brother would have to share the $10,000 with his family, including his wife, children, and even his sister.

Does Islam Believe in Evolution?

TheSincereSeeker's Podcast

In general, Muslims accept the theory of evolution-- there are many types of evolution Muslims have no issue affirming. Muslims generally have no problems with the concept of microevolution. Muslims have no issues affirming the evolution of animals over time, adapting to their environment, and developing an immunity to negotiate their environment. For example, the beaks of an animal can evolve to assume different shapes and sizes to access food on a particular island better, or an animal can develop thicker skin over the years to survive better in their habitat. This process displays the power and intelligence of the Creator of all, God the Almighty. Muslims also do not have an issue believing that all animals might have come from the same origin animal because this belief doesn't go against the Holy Quran and the sayings of Prophet Muhammad PBUH. A name of Allah, after all, is Al-Bari, which means the Evolver, the giver of forms. On the other hand, Muslims cannot accept Darwinian evolution or human evolution, where human beings evolved from pre-human ancestors, as it goes against the Holy Quran. We believe everything stated in the Holy Quran because we have good reasons to believe that the entire text came from our Creator. The Holy Quran explicitly states that God fashioned Adam with his own two hands. God created Adam as a fully formed man, not a baby. He created Adam PBUH from a pool of mud with components of clay, soil, Earth, and water. Then God breathed life into him. Then God taught him the name of all things. Then he brought down Prophet Adam PBUH to this Earth. From Adam and Eve came multitudes of men and women. Adam was born miraculously without the intervention or presence of a father or a mother. Human beings were created separately from animals and other creations. "Recall when your Lord said to the angels, "I will create a human being out of clay from an altered black mud" (Quran 15:28) "O humanity! Be mindful of your Lord Who created you from a single soul, and from it He created its mate, and through both He spread countless men and women..." (Quran 4:1) It's imperative to note that the miraculous creation of Adam PBUH cannot be confirmed or rejected by science, nor can science disprove the existence of God. Since science is restricted to providing natural explanations explaining how things work, it cannot explain who created things and why. We need Revelation and religion to provide these explanations. Everything around us is living evidence of an intelligent designer behind it. The origin of our universe has a cause, and we know that chaos cannot create such an intelligently designed system. However, the scientific method cannot indicate the cause of the creation of the universe and why it was created since science looks only at nature—that is, what we can observe, touch, see, and smell--and tries to find natural explanations, excluding anything outside of nature. As for things outside of the natural world, science has no way of dealing with them. Science doesn't take into account the metaphysical realm, the unseen world, so science cannot include explanations not based on nature, like pointing to the Divine as the cause of the universe's inception.  "And Allah has created from water every living creature. Some of them crawl on their bellies, some walk on two legs, and some walk on four. Allah creates whatever He wills. Surely Allah is Most Capable of everything" (Quran 24:45)

Al-Hujurat ( الحُجُرات,  meaning: The Chambers) is the 49th chapter of the Quran with 18 verses. The chapter contains etiquette and norms to be observed in the Muslim community, including the proper conduct towards the Islamic prophet, Muhammad, an injunction against acting on news without verification, a call for peace and reconciliation, as well as injunctions against defamation, suspicion, and backbiting. The chapter also declares a universal brotherhood among Muslims. The thirteenth verse, one of the most famous in the Quran, is understood by Muslim scholars to establish equality with regards to race and origin; only God can determine one's nobility based on his piety. The chapter is a Medinan sura, revealed in the year 9 AH (630 CE) when the nascent Islamic state under the leadership of Muhammad had extended to most of Arabia. Muslim historians linked some of the verses (either verses 2–5 or just 4–5) to the conduct of a Banu Tamim delegation to Muhammad in Medina. The chapter reprimands the delegates' behavior and then lays down protocol when interacting with Muhammad. Proper conduct towards Muhammad Verses 1 to 5 focus on the etiquette towards Muhammad, including lowering one's tone in his presence and respecting the privacy of his chambers.[2][3] The following verses (6—12) emphasise the ties of brotherhood within the Muslim community (ummah) and establish social principles to maintain its unity.[2] Verses 6 to 8 call on Muslims to not act on news before verifying its authenticity.[4] The following two verses encourage promoting peace and reconciling quarreling parties within the community.[5] The tenth verse is known as the Verse of Brotherhood and instructs Muslims to unite in a universal brotherhood.[6] The next verse, verse 11, warns the members of the community against defamation, mocking and name-calling.[7] Verse 12 calls for Muslims to avoid suspicion (zann, also translated "conjecture"), spying on others to find faults (tajassus), and backbiting (ghibah).[8][9] The Quran considers backbiting (slandering someone in their absence) so sinful and abhorrent that it is compared to "eating the flesh of [one's] brother".[10] Verse 13 is one of the most famous verses of the Quran: O mankind, surely We have created you from a male and a female, and made you tribes and families that you may know each other. Surely the noblest of you with Allah is the most dutiful of you. Surely Allah is Knowing, Aware.[11] Commentators on the Quran, including Abul A'la Maududi and Sayyid Qutb, argued that this verse declares the equality of mankind. Mankind is spread around the world and has different nations and tribes to know each other, and no one is superior based on color, race, or origin. According to the verse, only taqwa (piety, fear of God) makes one nobler before God.[12][13] According to the commentary of The Study Quran, this verse marked a reform of the moral order in Arabia, where previously one's worth had been determined by "lineage and grandiose displays of valor and generosity" and where fear of God had been seen as the opposite of nobility, to one which focused on "the depth of faith and piety".[13] The remaining verses (14 to 18) contain clarifications on the Quranic view of faith[2]  Verse 14 indicates degrees of faith: Islam (submission) and the higher iman (belief).[14]  According to verse 15, a true believer believes in God and Muhammad without doubt, and proves it through devotion and the spending of one's wealth in the way of God.[15][16] The chapter closes by saying that only God knows the real extent of one's faith The chapter is named after the word Al-Hujurat (The Private Apartments) which appeared in the fourth verse Verses 4 and 5 instructed the Muslims to not enter the private apartments of Muhammad—at this pointthe ruler of most of Arabia —or his wives to search for or petition him

Then I seized them; and behold, how woeful was My retribution! (40:6) Thus has the decree of your Lord become due against the unbelievers. They are destined for the Fire. (40:7) The angels that bear the Throne and those that are around to extol your Lord's glory with His praise, they believe in Him, and ask forgiveness for the believers, saying: “Our Lord! You encompass everything with Your Mercy and Knowledge. So forgive those that repent and follow Your Path, and guard them against the chastisement of Hell. (40:8) Our Lord, admit them to the everlasting Gardens You have promised them and those of their fathers and spouses and progeny that were righteous. Surely You alone are Most Mighty, Most Wise; (40:9) and guard them against all ills. He whom You guard against ills on that Day, to him You have surely been Most Merciful. That is the great triumph.” (40:10) It will be announced to the unbelievers (on the Day of Resurrection): “Surely Allah's abhorrence of you when you were called to believe but you disbelieved was greater than is your abhorrence of yourselves today.” (40:11) They will say: “Our Lord, twice have You caused us to die and twice have You given us life. We have now confessed our sins. Is there, then, any way out?” (40:12) (They will be told): “(The cause of your present state is that) when Allah alone was invoked, you disbelieved; and when others instead of Him were invoked, you believed. Today all judgement lies with Allah, the Most High, the All-Great.” (40:13) He it is Who shows you His Signs and sends down provision for you from the sky. Yet none takes heed except he who constantly turns to Allah. (40:14) So call upon Allah, consecrating all your devotion to Him, howsoever much the unbelievers may dislike it. (40:15) Exalted in Rank, Lord of the Throne: He causes the spirit to descend on whomsoever of His servants He pleases so as to warn them of the Day of Encounter; (40:16) the Day when they will emerge and nothing of them shall be hidden from Allah. (On that Day they will be asked): “Whose is the kingdom today?” (The whole world will cry out): “It is Allah's, the One, the Overpowering.” (40:17) (It will then be said): “Today shall everyone be fully recompensed for his deeds. None shall be wronged today. Surely Allah is Swift in Reckoning.” (40:18) (O Prophet), then warn them of the Day that has drawn near, the Day when hearts full of suppressed grief will leap up to the throats and the wrong-doers shall neither have any sincere friend nor intercessor whose word will be heeded. (40:19) He knows even the most stealthy glance of the eyes and all the secrets that hearts conceal. (40:20) Allah will judge with justice, whereas those whom they call upon beside Him cannot judge at all. Surely Allah and He alone is All- Hearing, All-Seeing....

(65:1) O Prophet, when you divorce women, divorce them for their waiting-period, and compute the waiting period accurately, and hold Allah, your Lord, in awe. Do not turn them out of their homes (during the waiting period) – nor should they go away (from their homes)– unless they have committed a manifestly evil deed. Such are the bounds set by Allah; and he who transgresses the bounds set by Allah commits a wrong against himself. You do not know: maybe Allah will cause something to happen to pave the way (for reconciliation). (65:2) And when they reach the end of their term (of waiting), then either honourably retain them (in the bond of wedlock) or honourably part with them, and call two persons of known probity as witnesses from among yourselves, and (let these witnesses) give upright testimony for the sake of Allah. That is to what all those that believe in Allah and the Last Day are exhorted. Allah will find a way out for him who fears Allah, (65:3) and will provide him sustenance from whence he never even imagined. Whoever puts his trust in Allah, He shall suffice him. Surely Allah brings about what He decrees; Allah has set a measure for everything. (65:4) The waiting period of those of your women who have lost all expectation of menstruation shall be three months in case you entertain any doubt; and the same shall apply to those who have not yet menstruated. As for pregnant women, their waiting period shall be until the delivery of their burden. Allah will create ease for him who fears Allah. (65:5) This is the commandment of Allah that He has revealed to you. Whoever fears Allah, He will expunge his evil deeds and will richly reward him. (65:6) (During the waiting period) lodge them according to your means wherever you dwell, and do not harass them to make them miserable. And if they are pregnant, provide for them maintenance until they have delivered their burden. And if they suckle your offspring whom they bore you, then give them due recompense, and graciously settle the question of compensation between yourselves by mutual understanding. But if you experience difficulty (in determining the compensation for suckling) then let another woman suckle the child. (65:7) Whoever has abundant means, let him spend according to his means; and he whose means are straitened, let him spend out of what Allah has given him. Allah does not burden any human being beyond the means that He has bestowed upon him. Possibly Allah will grant ease after hardship. (65:8) How many towns rebelled against the commandment of their Lord and His Messengers. Then We called them to a stern accounting, and subjected them to a harrowing chastisement. (65:9) So they tasted the evil fruit of their deeds; and the fruit of their deeds was utter loss. (65:10) Allah has laid in store for them a grievous chastisement. So fear Allah, O people of understanding who have attained to faith. Allah has sent down to you an Exhortation, (65:11) a Messenger who rehearses to you Allah's verses that clearly expound the Guidance so that He may bring out those that believe and act righteously, from every kind of darkness into light. He will admit whosoever believes in Allah and acts righteously to Gardens beneath which rivers flow. They shall abide in them forever. For such has Allah made an excellent provision. (65:12) Allah it is He Who created seven heavens, and, like them, the earth. His commandment descends among them. (All this is being stated so that you know) that Allah has power over everything, and that Allah encompasses all things in His knowledge.

(63:1) (O Prophet), when the hypocrites come to you, they say: “We bear witness that you are certainly Allah's Messenger.” Allah certainly knows that you are His Messenger. But Allah also bears witness that the hypocrites are utter liars! (63:2) They shelter behind their oath, and thus hinder their own selves and others from the Path of Allah. Evil indeed is what they do. (63:3) All that is because they first believed and then disbelieved, and therefore a seal was set on their hearts; as a result they understand nothing. (63:4) When you look at them, their persons are pleasing, and when they speak, you pay heed to what they say. But in truth they are (merely) beams of timber propped-up (against a wall). They consider every shout they hear to be directed against them. They are your utter enemies; guard against them. May Allah do away with them! How are they being turned away (from the Truth)? (63:5) When it is said to them: “Come, Allah's Messenger will seek forgiveness for you,” they (contemptuously) shake their heads and you see them holding back in pride. (63:6) It is all the same for them whether you ask forgiveness for them or not; for Allah shall never forgive them. Surely Allah does not direct the transgressing folk to the Right Way. (63:7) It is they who say: “Give nothing to those who are with the Messenger of Allah so that they may disperse.” (They say so although) the treasures of the heavens and the earth belong to Allah. But the hypocrites do not understand. (63:8) They say: “When we return to Madinah, the honourable ones will drive out from it those that are abject.” In truth, all honour belongs to Allah, and to His Messenger, and to the believers. But the hypocrites do not know. (63:9) Believers, let your possessions and your offspring not make you negligent of Allah's remembrance. For whoso does that, they will be the losers. (63:10) And spend of what Allah has granted you by way of sustenance before death should come to any of you and he should say: “Lord, why did You not defer my return for a while so that I might give alms and be among the righteous?” (63:11) But when a person's term comes to an end, Allah never grants any respite. Allah is well aware of all that you do.

(49:3) The ones who lower their voices in the presence of the Messenger of Allah are those whose hearts Allah has tested for God-fearing. Theirs shall be forgiveness and a great reward. (49:4) Surely most of those who call out to you, (O Prophet), from behind the apartments, are devoid of understanding. (49:5) If they were patient until you went out to them, that would have been better for them. Allah is Most Forgiving, Most Merciful. (49:6) Believers, when an ungodly person brings to you a piece of news, carefully ascertain its truth, lest you should hurt a people unwittingly and thereafter repent at what you did. (49:7) Know that Allah's Messenger is among you. Were he to follow you in many an affair, you yourselves would suffer. But Allah has endeared faith to you and has embellished it in your hearts, and has made unbelief and evil-doing and disobedience abhorrent to you. Such are those who are rightly guided, (49:8) by Allah's favour and bounty. Allah is All-Knowing, All-Wise. (49:9) If two parties of the believers happen to fight, make peace between them. But then, if one of them transgresses against the other, fight the one that transgresses until it reverts to Allah's command. And if it does revert, make peace between them with justice, and be equitable for Allah loves the equitable. (49:10) Surely the believers are none but brothers unto one another, so set things right between your brothers, and have fear of Allah that you may be shown mercy. (49:11) Believers, let not a group (of men) scoff at another group, it may well be that the latter (at whom they scoff) are better than they; nor let a group of women scoff at another group, it may well be that the latter are better than they. And do not taunt one another, nor revile one another by nicknames. It is an evil thing to gain notoriety for ungodliness after belief. Those who do not repent are indeed the wrong-doers. (49:12) Believers, avoid being excessively suspicious, for some suspicion is a sin. Do not spy, nor backbite one another. Would any of you like to eat the flesh of his dead brother? You would surely detest it. Have fear of Allah. Surely Allah is much prone to accept repentance, is Most Compassionate. (49:13) Human beings, We created you all from a male and a female, and made you into nations and tribes so that you may know one another. Verily the noblest of you in the sight of Allah is the most God-fearing of you. Surely Allah is All-Knowing, All-Aware. (49:14) The Bedouins say: “We believe.”(O Prophet), say to them: “You do not believe; you should rather say: 'We have submitted'”; for belief has not yet entered your hearts. And then He will tell them on the Day of Judgement all that they have done. Surely Allah knows everything. When you stand up for Prayer wash your faces and your hands up to the elbows, and wipe your heads, and wash your feet up to the ankles. And if you are in the state of ritual impurity, purify yourselves (by taking a bath). But if you are either ill, travelling, have satisfied a want of nature or have had contact with women and find no water then have recourse to clean earth and wipe your faces and your hands therewith. (22:3) Among people there are some who wrangle about Allah without knowledge and follow every rebellious devil, (22:4) although it is decreed about him that he shall lead into error whosoever takes him for a friend, and will direct him to the torment of the Fire. (22:5) O mankind! If you have any doubt concerning Resurrection, then know that it is surely We Who created you from dust, then from a drop of sperm, then from a clot of blood, then from a little lump of flesh, some of it shapely and other shapeless. (We are rehearsing this) that We may make the reality clear to you. We cause (the drop of sperm) that We please to remain in the wombs till an appointed time. We bring you forth as infants (and nurture you) that you may come of age. Among you is he that dies (at a young age) and he who is kept back to the most abject age so that after once having known, he reaches a stage when he knows nothing. You see the earth dry and barren and then no sooner than We send down water upon it, it begins to quiver and swell and brings forth every kind of beauteous vegetation. (22:6) All this is because Allah, He is the Truth, and because He resurrects the dead, and because He has power over everything, (22:7) (all of which shows that) the Hour shall surely come to pass - in this there is no doubt - and Allah shall surely resurrect those that are in graves. (22:8) And among people are those that wrangle about Allah without knowledge, without any true guidance, and without any scripture to enlighten them. (22:9) They wrangle arrogantly, intent on leading people astray from the Way of Allah. Such shall suffer disgrace in this world and We shall cause them to taste the chastisement of burning (in the Next). (22:10) That is the outcome of what your own hands have wrought, for Allah never wrongs His creatures. (22:11) And among people is he who worships Allah on the borderline; if any good befalls him, he is satisfied; but if a trial afflicts him, he utterly turns away. He will incur the loss of this world and the Hereafter. That indeed is a clear loss. (22:12) He invokes, instead of Allah, those who can neither harm nor benefit him. That indeed is straying far away. (22:13) He invokes those that are more likely to cause him harm than benefit. Such is surely an evil patron, and an evil associate. (22:16) Even so We have revealed the Qur'an with Clear Signs. Verily Allah guides whomsoever He wills. (22:17) On the Day of Resurrection Allah will most certainly judge among those who believe, and those who became Jews, and Sabaeans, and Christians, and Magians, and those who associate others with Allah in His Divinity. A severe chastisement lies in store for those who deny the signs of Allah. Allah is All-Mighty; He is the Lord of Retribution. (3:5) Nothing in the earth and in the heavens is hidden from Allah. Some of its verses are absolutely clear and lucid, and these are the core of the Book. Others are ambiguous. Those in whose hearts there is perversity, always go about the part which is ambiguous, seeking mischief and seeking to arrive at its meaning arbitrarily, although none knows their true meaning except Allah. On the contrary, those firmly rooted in knowledge say: 'We believe in it; it is all from our Lord alone.' No one derives true admonition from anything except the men of understanding. (3:10) Those who disbelieve, neither their wealth nor their offspring will avail them at all against Allah, and it is they who will be the fuel of the Fire (3:11) (To them shall happen) the like of what happened to the people of Pharaoh, and those before them. They rejected Our signs, so Allah seized them for their sins. Allah indeed is severe in punishment. (3:12) Tell those who disbelieved: 'You shall soon be overpowered and mustered to Hell - and that is an evil resting place!' (3:13) You have already come across an instructive sign in the two hosts that encountered each other in battle (at Badr): one host fighting in the way of Allah, and the other that of unbelievers. They saw with their own eyes that one host was twice the number of the other. But (the result of the battle has proved that) Allah succours with His victory whomsoever He wills. In this there is surely a lesson for all who have eyes to see. (3:14) Men are naturally tempted by the lure of women, children, treasures of gold and silver, horses of mark, cattle and plantations. These are the enjoyments in the life of this world; but with Allah lies a goodly abode to return to. (3:15) Say: 'Shall I tell you of things better than these? For the God-fearing there are, with their Lord, gardens beneath which rivers flow; there they will abide for ever, will have spouses of stainless purity as companions, and will enjoy the good pleasure of Allah.' Allah thoroughly observes His servants. (3:16) These are the ones who pray: 'Our Lord! We do indeed believe, so forgive us our sins and keep us safe from the chastisement of the Fire'; (3:17) men who are steadfast, truthful, obedient, spend (in the way of Allah) and implore the forgiveness of Allah before daybreak. (3:18) Allah Himself bears witness that there is no God but He; and likewise do the angels and the men possessed of knowledge bear witness in truth and justice that there is no God but He, the All-Mighty, the All-Wise.....

(2:1) Alif, Lam, Mim. (2:2) This is the Book of Allah, there is no doubt in it; it is a guidance for the pious, (2:3) for those who believe in the existence of that which is beyond the reach of perception, who establish Prayer and spend out of what We have provided them, (2:4) who believe in what has been revealed to you and what was revealed before you, and have firm faith in the Hereafter. (2:5) Such are on true guidance from their Lord; such are the truly successful. (2:6) As for those who have rejected (these truths), it is all the same whether or not you warn them, for they will not believe. (2:7) Allah has sealed their hearts and their hearing, and a covering has fallen over their eyes. They deserve severe chastisement.(2:8) There are some who say: “We believe in Allah and in the Last Day,” while in fact they do not believe. (2:9) They are trying to deceive Allah and those who believe, but they do not realize that in truth they are only deceiving themselves. (2:10) There is a disease in their hearts and Allah has intensified this disease. A painful chastisement awaits them for their lying. (2:11) Whenever they are told: “Do not spread mischief on earth,” they say: “Why! We indeed are the ones who set things right.” (2:12) They are the mischief makers, but they do not realize it. (2:13) Whenever they are told: “Believe as others believe,” they answer: “Shall we believe as the fools have believed?” Indeed it is they who are the fools, but they are not aware of it. (2:14) When they meet the believers, they say: “We believe,” but when they meet their evil companions (in privacy), they say: “Surely we are with you; we were merely jesting.” (2:15) Allah jests with them, leaving them to wander blindly on in their rebellion. (2:16) These are the ones who have purchased error in exchange for guidance. This bargain has brought them no profit and certainly they are not on the Right Way. (2:17) They are like him who kindled a fire, and when it lit up all around him, Allah took away the light (of their perception) and left them in utter darkness where they can see nothing. (2:18) They are deaf, they are dumb, they are blind; they will never return (to the Right Way). (2:19) Or they are like those who encounter a violent rainstorm from the sky, accompanied by pitch-dark clouds, thunder-claps and flashes of lightning: on hearing thunder-claps they thrust their fingers into their ears in fear of death. Allah encompasses these deniers of the Truth. (2:20) It is as if the lightning would snatch their sight; whenever it gleams a while for them they walk a little, and when darkness covers them they halt. If Allah so willed, He could indeed take away their hearing and their sight. Surely Allah is All-Powerful. (2:21) O mankind, serve your Lord Who has created you as well as those before you; do so that you are saved. (2:22) It is He Who has made the earth a resting-place for you, and the sky a canopy, and sent down water from above wherewith He brought forth fruits for your sustenance. Do not, then, set up rivals to Allah when you know (the Truth). (2:23) If you are in any doubt whether it is We Who have revealed this Book to Our servant, then produce just a surah like it, and call all your supporters and seek in it the support of all others save Allah. Accomplish this if you are truthful. (2:24) But if you fail to do this – and you will most certainly fail – then have fear of the Fire whose fuel is men and stones and which has been prepared for those who deny the Truth......

(8:1) They ask you concerning the spoils of war? Tell them: 'The spoils of war belong to Allah and the Messenger. So fear Allah, and set things right between you, and obey Allah and His Messenger if you are true believers. (8:2) The true believers are those who, when Allah's name is mentioned, their hearts quake, and when His verses are recited to them their faith grows, and who put their trust in their Lord; (8:3) who establish Prayer and spend out of what We have provided them. (8:4) Such people are indeed true believers. They have high ranks with their Lord, and forgiveness for their sins and an honourable sustenance. (8:5) (Now with regard to the spoils the same situation exists as when) your Lord brought you forth from your home in a righteous cause while a party among the believers were much averse to it. (8:6) They disputed with you about the truth after that had become evident, as if they were being driven to death with their eyes wide open. (8:7) And recall when Allah promised you that one of the two hosts would fall to you, and you wished that the one without arms should fall into your hands. But Allah sought to prove by His words the truth to be true and to annihilate the unbelievers to the last remnant (8:8) that He might prove the truth to be true and the false to be false, however averse the evil-doers might be to it. (8:9) And recall when you implored your Lord for help and He responded to you: 'I will indeed reinforce you with a thousand angels, coming host after host.' (8:10) Allah meant this as glad tidings and that your hearts may be set at rest. For every help comes from Allah alone. Surely Allah is All-Mighty, All-Wise. (8:11) And recall when Allah brought on you drowsiness, giving you a feeling of peace and security from Him, and He sent down rain upon you from the sky that He might cleanse you through it and take away from you the pollution of Satan and strengthen your hearts, and steady your feet through it. (8:12) And recall when your Lord inspired the angels: 'I am certainly with you. So make firm the feet of those who believe. I will cast terror into the hearts of those who disbelieve. So strike at their necks and strike at every pore and tip. (8:13) This is because they defied Allah and His Messenger. Whoever defies Allah and His Messenger must know that Allah is severe in punishment. (8:14) That is your punishment (from Allah). So taste this punishment, and know that for the unbelievers is the punishment of the Fire. (8:15) Believers, whenever you encounter a hostile force of unbelievers, do not turn your backs to them in flight. (8:16) For he who turns his back on them on such ar occasion - except that it be for tactical reasons, or turning to join another company - he shall incur the wrath of Allah and Hell shall be his abode. It is an evil destination. (8:17) So the fact is that it was not you, but it was Allah Who killed them; and it was not you when you threw [sand at them], but it was Allah Who threw it, (and the believers were employed for the task) that He might cause the believers to successfully pass through this test. Allah is All-Hearing, All-Knowing. (8:18) This is His manner of dealing with you. As for the unbelievers, Allah will surely undermine their designs. (8:19) (Tell the unbelievers:) 'If you have sought a judgement, then surely a judgement has come to you. And if you desist from disobedience, it is all the better for you. But if you revert to your mischief, We will again chastise you; and your host, howsoever numerous, will never be of any avail to you. Know well, Allah is with the believers.'.....

[9:1] This is a declaration of disavowal by Allah and His Messenger to those who associate others with Allah in His Divinity and with whom you have made treaties: [9:2] "You may go about freely in the land, for four months, but know well that you will not be able to frustrate Allah, and that Allah will bring disgrace upon those who deny the Truth." [9:3] This is a public proclamation by Allah and His Messenger to all people on the day of the Great Pilgrimage: "Allah is free from all obligation to those who associate others with Allah in His Divinity; and so is His Messenger. If you repent, it shall be for your own good; but if you turn away, then know well that you will not be able to frustrate Allah. So give glad tidings of a painful chastisement to those who disbelieve. [9:4] In exception to those who associate others with Allah in His Divinity are those with whom you have made treaties and who have not violated their treaties nor have backed up anyone against you. Fulfil your treaties with them till the end of their term. Surely Allah loves the pious." [9:5] But when the sacred months expire slay those who associate others with Allah in His Divinity wherever you find them; seize them, and besiege them, and lie in wait for them. But if they repent and establish the Prayer and pay Zakah, leave them alone. Surely Allah is All-Forgiving, Ever-Merciful. [9:6] And if any of those who associate others with Allah in His Divinity seeks asylum, grant him asylum that he may hear the Word of Allah, and then escort him to safety for they are a people who do not know. [9:7] How can there be a covenant with those who associate others with Allah in His Divinity be binding upon Allah and His Messenger, excepting those with whom you made a covenant near the Sacred Mosque? Behave in a straight manner with them so long as they behave with you in a straight manner for Allah loves the Godfearing. [9:8] How can there be any covenant with the other polytheists for were they to prevail against you, they will respect neither kinship nor agreement. They seek to please you with their tongues while their hearts are averse to you, and most of them are wicked. [9:9] They have sold the revelations of Allah for a paltry price and have firmly hindered people from His Path. Evil indeed is what they have done. [9:10] They neither have any respect for kinship nor for agreement in respect of the believers. Such are indeed transgressors. [9:11] But if they repent and establish Prayer and give Zakah they are your brothers in faith. Thus do We expound Our revelations to those who know. [9:12] But if they break their pledges after making them and attack your faith, make war on the leaders of unbelief that they may desist, for they have no regard for their pledged words. [9:13] Will you not fight against those who broke their pledges and did all they could to drive the Messenger away and initiated hostilities against you? Do you fear them? Surely Allah has greater right that you should fear Him, if you are true believers. [9:14] Make war on them. Allah will chastise them through you and will humiliate them. He will grant you victory over them, and will soothe the bosoms of those who believe, [9:15] and will remove rage from their hearts, and will enable whomsoever He wills to repent. Allah is All-Knowing, All-Wise. [9:16] Do you imagine that you will be spared without being subjected to any test? Know well that Allah has not yet determined who strove hard (in His cause), and has not taken any others instead of His Messenger and the believers as his trusted allies? (16:1) Allah's judgement has (all but) come; do not, then, call for its speedy advent. Holy is He, and far above their associating others with Him in His Divinity. (16:2) He sends down this spirit(of prophecy) by His command through His angels on any of His servants whom He wills, (directing them): "Warn people that there is no deity but Me; so hold Me alone in fear." (16:3) He created the heavens and the earth with Truth. Exalted is He above whatever they associate with Allah in His Divinity. (16:4) He created man out of a mere drop of fluid, and lo! he turned into an open wrangler. (16:5) He created the cattle. They are a source of clothing and food and also a variety of other benefits for you. (16:6) And you find beauty in them as you drive them to pasture in the morning and as you drive them back home in the evening; (16:7) and they carry your loads to many a place which you would be unable to reach without much hardship. Surely your Lord is Intensely Loving, Most Merciful. (16:8) And He created horses and mules and asses for you to ride, and also for your adornment. And He creates many things (for you) that you do not even know about. (16:9) It rests with Allah alone to show you the Right Way, even when there are many crooked ways. Had He so willed, He would have (perforce) guided you all aright. (16:10) He it is Who sends down water for you from the sky out of which you drink and out of which grow the plants on which you pasture your cattle, (16:11) and by virtue of which He causes crops and olives and date-palms and grapes and all kinds of fruit to grow for you. Surely in this there is a great Sign for those who reflect. (16:12) He has subjected for you the night and the day and the sun and the moon and the stars have also been made subservient by His command. Surely there are Signs in this for those who use their reason. (16:13) And there are also Signs for those who take heed in the numerous things of various colours that He has created for you on earth. (16:14) And He it is Who has subjected the sea that you may eat fresh fish from it and bring forth ornaments from it that you can wear. And you see ships ploughing their course through it so that you may go forth seeking His Bounty and be grateful to Him. (16:15) And He has placed firm mountains on the earth lest it should move away from you, and has made rivers and tracks that you may find your way, (16:16) and He has set other landmarks in the earth. And by the stars too do people find their way. (16:17) Is then the One Who creates like the one who does not create? Will you not, then, take heed? (16:18) For, were you to count the favours of Allah, you will not be able to count them. Surely Allah is Ever Forgiving, Most Merciful. (16:19) Allah knows all that you conceal and all that you disclose. (16:20) Those whom they call upon beside Allah have created nothing; rather, they themselves were created; (16:21) they are dead, not living. They do not even know when they will be resurrected. (16:22) Your God is the One God. But the hearts of those who do not believe in the Hereafter are steeped in rejection of the Truth, and they are given to arrogance. (16:23) Surely Allah knows all that they conceal and all that they disclose. He certainly does not love those who are steeped in arrogance. (16:24) When they are asked: "What is it that your Lord has revealed?" They answer: "They are merely tales of olden times!" (Sheima Sumer Series) Well first of all, what is the law of attraction? So basically the Law of Attraction says that what's happening in your outer world experience is simply a reflection of your inner world experience. And your inner world experience would be your thoughts and your feelings. The law of attraction is also referred to as the law of vibration. What this means is that your thoughts, which cause your feelings, create a vibration that you're in. So you could be In a positive vibration or negative vibration and you are going to attract events and objects and situations that match your vibration. So basically your thoughts and your feelings affect your outer world. They affect what you attract. That is the law of attraction. And so your thoughts and your feelings have a frequency and when you feel bad you are emitting a negative frequency and unfortunately your negative frequency will be reflected back to you through certain life events. And if you feel good you have a positive frequency which will attract to you positive life situations. And for example good feelings/good frequencies in order of their power would be love, gratitude, joy, hopeful expectation and satisfaction. Good feelings make you feel empowered. Bad feelings include depression, hatred, jealousy, anxiety, guilt and anger. Of course we have bad feelings sometimes but the idea is to recognize your bad feelings and do something to feel better and to shift your frequency or vibration. Another interesting point is that if we think about something that we do not want for a long period of time or with great emotion, then we are likely to attract what we do not want. So the law of attraction teaches us to think about what we want; Focus on what you want, not what you don't want. Because if you think about debt-if you're in debt and you think about your debt then you attract more debt. Instead you want to think of attracting more money, of abundance. So the law of attraction which was really publicized by the Secret movie and Secret book is saying that we can have what we want in life but we need to stay in a positive frequency or vibration, which is created by our thoughts and our feelings. So your thoughts cause your feelings. One of the things that the law of attraction says is that the little things often come the fastest and easiest because with little things, for some reason, we have less resistance to their arrival and we also believe they will come, and they come, because we see them as being little. So again the law of attraction is saying that your inner thoughts and feelings directly impact your outer life events/things that you attract in your outer world. So, does Islam agree with the law of attraction philosophy? In my opinion yes it does. A very clear verse of the Quran that supports the law of attraction is found in chapter 13 verse 11 which states: "Surely Allah does not change the conditions in which a people are in until they change that which is in themselves" (13:11). Very clearly stating that if you want your outer conditions to change, then you need to change what is inside yourself, which is of course going to be your thoughts and your feelings, your inner self, your inner world. Another verse of the Quran is chapter 14 verse 7 which states: "If you give thanks, I will give you more" (14:7). So Allah, glory be to Him the most high is saying that if we are thankful, we will receive more. That is exactly what the law of attraction teaches- - that when you feel gratitude, you will attract more things to feel gratitude for. Another verse of the holy Quran states in chapter 2 verse 152: "Remember Me. I will remember you. Be grateful to Me and never show me ingratitude." (Holy Quran, 2:152) OK so again, remember Me, Allah is saying if you remember Me, remember Allah, Allah will remember you; The law of attraction. When you think of Allah, Allah is going to think of you and remember you. The Secret, the law of attraction which is the secret, is reflected in these verses and there is also a Hadith in which the Prophet Muhammad peace be upon him says that Allah the Most High says, I am with my slave whenever he thinks of Me and I am with him when he mentions Me. For if he mentions Me to himself, I mention him to Myself; and if he mentions Me in a gathering, I mention him in a superior gathering. If he approaches Me by a hand's width, I approach him by an arm's length; and if he approaches Me by an arm's length, I approach him by two arms' lengths. And if he comes to Me walking, I hasten to him swiftly." (Bukhari and Muslim). So the secret, the law of attraction states that like attracts like. What you are thinking and feeling and doing attracts more of the same. So the secret law of attraction like attracts like, and this is exactly what this Hadith is saying, actually this hadith is saying that Allah will even do more for us than what we do for Him. So if we remember Allah then Allah remembers us in a superior gathering. So this proves just how loving and kind and generous Allah is. So basically if we learn to control our thoughts we will have more control over our life because our thoughts directly affect what we attract in our life . Now as Muslims of course we believe that all power is with Allah and nothing takes place without Allah's permission but at the same time Allah gave us human beings free will . So we have a free will to think good thoughts. Thinking good thoughts literally brings good things into your life. The Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) said, "To harbor good thoughts is part of well-practiced worship" (Mishkat al Masabih, Volume 2, book 24, Chapter 17, p. 1048). So having good thoughts is a form of worship of God. The prophet Muhammad (pbuh) also said, "A believer loves for others what he loves for himself" (Bukhari, Muslim). And that's just teaching us to feel love for everyone, not just for ourselves but when we love others that's a very good thing. Love is the highest frequency. Love is the highest vibration. The more love you feel, the better things you will attract in your life. So the Secret Movie and book, if you watched the movie it does seem a little materialistic/worldly. But the point of the law of attraction is really about being aware of our vibration, of our thoughts and feelings so we can attract anything that we want. And Islam is really teaching us to think about and remember Allah as much as possible. If you learn more about Islam it's all about remembering Allah and thanking Allah and putting Allah first. And according to the law of attraction what you think about and feel about you attract and insha'Allah when we as Muslims think about Allah, we will attract closeness to Allah, which is really the best gift- to be close to Allah, near to Allah, pleasing to Allah. And I personally have seen the law of attraction operate in my life. And part of Islam is using our reason and intelligence to interpret the signs around us. In the Holy Quran, Chapter 2 verse 164 the Quran states: In the creation of heaven and earth, in the succession of day and night, in the phenomena of ships sailing across the seas... in the fall of rain water from sky to quicken a dead earth, in populating the earth with all species of animals, in ordering of winds and clouds between sky and earth;in all these there are signs and pieces of evidence for people who use their reason. (2:164) So reason is praised in the Holy Quran and in Islam, and that's why I will use my reason to say that yes, I have seen the law of attraction in my life in many ways. I have two small/cute examples that I will share but it's just something interesting. For example, one day I was drinking some hot chocolate and I felt that this hot chocolate would really taste better if it was peppermint flavored. And it was just a thought-I didn't really care that much. Then a few days later I was on a road trip, and I stopped at a restaurant. And they were selling some things in front of the restaurant and there lo and behold was a "Peppermint Hot Cocoa". And of course I bought it and enjoyed. But I thought that was interesting that it just popped up a few days after I had that thoughts. Another little example: I was looking in a parenting magazine that showed a picture of a memory game (matching pictures) and at that time I had young children. So I had this thought, "That would be a great game for my son." A few days later I was counseling a child for my job and we attended a school program where I won pretty much the same memory game;the same game in the magazine. I honestly was not so interested in getting the game, but it just came to me, probably because I was not feeling anxious about getting it! So there are many other examples I could give, but just 2 interesting ones there. As Muslims we believe in One Creator. Well, because there is one Creator of an organized universe, it follows that there are laws that govern our universe. We know there is a law of gravity. Well, perhaps then there are more laws we are not even aware of, such as the law of attraction. The Holy Quran states, "And if all the trees in the earth were pens, and the sea, with seven more seas to help it, (were ink), the words of Allah could not be exhausted (31:27)-- Meaning that there's so much knowledge, so much that we don't know. I don't see how the law of attraction could not be included in the knowledge that a lot people don't know about. So again, the law of attraction in Islam is found in the Islamic teaching of dua, or prayer, calling on Allah. And Islam really encourages us to call on Allah for things that we want. And Islam encourages us to believe that we will receive what we ask for or at least to have a positive feeling about it, a hope that something will come. And so Islam does teach us to emit a positive frequency and ask for what we want. The Holy Quran states, "And your Lord said, Ask of Me, I will respond". (40:60) I will respond to you. Duaa/asking of Allah is a form of worship in Islam. Again, gratitude is really a big part of Islam and that's a huge part of the law of attraction. I've already stated the Quran says Allah says, "if you give thanks I will give you more" (14:7). Prophet Soloman (pbuh) is known to be a very thankful prophet in Islam. Prophet Soloman actually prayed to Allah to help him to be grateful: "... Solomon smiled and said, My Lord! Grant me that I should be grateful for Your favour which You have bestowed on me and on my parents...(27:19)." There are multiple verses where Prophet Soloman talks about gratitude. ... As soon as Solomon saw the throne set before him, he said: "This is of the grace of my Lord that He may test me whether I am grateful or ungrateful; and whoever is grateful, he is grateful only for his own soul, and whoever is ungrateful, then surely my Lord is All-Sufficient, Bountiful." (27:40). It's interesting to note that Prophet Solomon (pbuh) was known to be very rich. He was a king who Allah (swt) granted not only abundant wealth but special powers, such as the ability to talk to animals. A last point is that the Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) encouraged us to pray for other people. He (pbuh) said: "There is no Muslim servant (of God) who prays for his brother behind his back, in secret, but the angels say, "Amen! And you shall also have the same." (Abu Daud) So again, this is the law of attraction. What you put out, your vibration, your frequency, your praying for another person, you're going to get that back to you, because you're putting out a positive frequency that will come back to you. So for all these reasons I do believe that Islam supports the law of attraction, which is simply that you will attract in your life what is matching your feeling vibration. Or do you ˹believers˺ intend to ask of your Messenger as Moses was asked before? But whoever trades belief for disbelief has truly strayed from the Right Way.(Ayah 108). Many among the People of the Book wish they could turn you ˹believers˺ back to disbelief because of their envy, after the truth has been made clear to them. Pardon and bear with them until Allah delivers His decision. Surely Allah is Most Capable of everything. (Ayah 109). Establish prayer, and pay alms-tax. Whatever good you send forth for yourselves, you will ˹certainly˺ find ˹its reward˺ with Allah. Surely Allah is All-Seeing of what you do. (Ayah 110).

Allah Ta'alah says in the Holy Quran; “…and do good deeds, so that you achieve success.” (22:77) Doing good deeds or Ihsan is inclusive of being kind towards others, showing mercy towards them, trying to fulfil their needs, and relieving their suffering. The Holy Prophet ﷺ said; “A Muslim neither causes suffering to another Muslim, nor does he leave him at the mercy of his enemies. If a person is busy fulfilling the needs of his brother, then Allah Ta'alah will remain busy fulfilling his needs for as long as he is busy helping his brother. If a person removes some hardship or distress from a Muslim, then Allah Ta'alah will remove one of the hardships from him that he was going to face on the Day of Qiyamat.” The Holy Prophet ﷺ also said; “If a person covers a Muslim's weakness, Allah Ta'alah will cover his weakness on the Day of Qiyamat.” For example, if a person finds out that a Muslim has a particular weakness or has committed a sin, but rather than publicize it to other people he keeps it a secret, then Allah Ta'alah will cover his weaknesses and his sins on the Day of Qiyamat. In this Hadith, the Holy Prophet ﷺ has established a core principle in the very first sentence, “A Muslim is like a brother to another Muslim.” In Quran Karim, Allah Ta'alah says; “O mankind, We have created you from a male and a female, and made you into races and tribes, so that you may identify one another. Surely the noblest of you, in Allah's sight, is the one who is most pious of you. Surely Allah is All- Knowing, All-Aware.” (49:13) In the next sentence of the Hadith, the Holy Prophet ﷺ describes the first sign of treating other Muslims as brothers, لا یظلمہ meaning that because a Muslims is another Muslim's brother, he will never harm him. It means he will never attack his life, his property, or his honour, and will never violate his rights. In the third sentence in this Hadith, the Holy Prophet ﷺ says, ولایسلمہ. It means that not only a Muslim doesn't harm another Muslim, he also doesn't leave him helpless. It is the duty of every Muslim, that if they see another Muslim in distress or in need of something, then they should step forward to help them, and shouldn't think why should I waste my time helping this person, what will I get out of it. It was the Sunnah of the Holy Prophet ﷺ that, throughout his entire life, whenever he heard about a person needing something or being in some sort of distress, he became quite perturbed, and did not rest until he had done everything he could to help that person. It probably never happened that the Holy Prophet ﷺ saw a Muslim in distress and did not help him. May Allah Ta'alah help us follow his Sunnah in this regard. Surely Allah does not shy away from using the parable of a mosquito or what is even smaller. As for the believers, they know that it is the truth from their Lord. And as for the disbelievers, they argue, “What does Allah mean by such a parable?” Through this ˹test˺, He leaves many to stray, and guides many. And He leaves none to stray except the rebellious.

In this episode, I talk about - The first of the Greater Sins: Shirk.  Associating anything or anyone with Allah is a major sin and there is no salvation for anyone who follows polytheism.  Allah says in the Qur'an: “Surely Allah does not forgive that anything should be associated with him, and forgives what is besides that to whomsoever He pleases, and whoever associates anything with Allah, he devises indeed a great sin.” (Surah an-Nisā' 4:48)And for those who are polytheists, Jannah is forbidden:  “Surely whoever associates (others) with Allah, then Allah has forbidden to him the garden, and his abode is the fire; and there shall be no helpers for the unjust.” (Surah al-Mā'ida 5:72)So what must we refrain from that we do in the daily lives that could lead us to commit shirk? Are we even aware of some of the 'indirect' or 'unknown' shirk that we see today that individuals are doing and calling it normal or OK to do?  Make sure you listen to this podcast from start to finish - I've added some great points for you to be aware of and also we must affirm our faith daily as mentioned in this Hadith:  Repeat Daily:  YAA MUQALLIBAL QULOOB THABBIT QALBEE 'ALAA DEENIK Anas reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, would often say, “O Turner of the hearts, affirm my heart upon Your religion!” I said, “O Messenger of Allah, we believe in you and in that with which you were sent. Do you fear for us?” The Prophet said, “Yes, for the hearts are between the fingers of Allah. He turns them whichever way He wills.”Source: Sunan al-Tirmidhī 2140I hope you may take benefit from this podcast just as I did - we all need reminders.  Please share with your friends and family so they can also benefit. Jazakallah KhairDo you have a story you'd like to share on our podcast?email us: info@themuslimexperience.comSame email address for Business Enquiries/Sponsorships.  We're also available on iTunes, Spotify, and Google Podcasts:  The Muslim Experience

بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِبه نام خداوند رحمتگر مهربان أَتَى أَمْرُ اللَّهِ فَلَا تَسْتَعْجِلُوهُ سُبْحَانَهُ وَتَعَالَى عَمَّا يُشْرِكُونَ ﴿۱﴾Allah's commandment has come, therefore do not desire to hasten it; glory be to Him, and highly exalted be He above what they associate (with Him) (۱) يُنَزِّلُ الْمَلَائِكَةَ بِالرُّوحِ مِنْ أَمْرِهِ عَلَى مَنْ يَشَاءُ مِنْ عِبَادِهِ أَنْ أَنْذِرُوا أَنَّهُ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا أَنَا فَاتَّقُونِ ﴿۲﴾He sends down the angels with the inspiration by His commandment on whom He pleases of His servants, saying: Give the warning that there is no god but Me, therefore be careful (of your duty) to Me (۲) خَلَقَ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضَ بِالْحَقِّ تَعَالَى عَمَّا يُشْرِكُونَ ﴿۳﴾He created the heavens and the earth with the truth, highly exalted be He above what they associate (with Him) (۳) خَلَقَ الْإِنْسَانَ مِنْ نُطْفَةٍ فَإِذَا هُوَ خَصِيمٌ مُبِينٌ ﴿۴﴾He created man from a small seed and lo! he is an open contender (۴) وَالْأَنْعَامَ خَلَقَهَا لَكُمْ فِيهَا دِفْءٌ وَمَنَافِعُ وَمِنْهَا تَأْكُلُونَ ﴿۵﴾And He created the cattle for you; you have in them warm clothing and (many) advantages, and of them do you eat (۵) وَلَكُمْ فِيهَا جَمَالٌ حِينَ تُرِيحُونَ وَحِينَ تَسْرَحُونَ ﴿۶﴾And there is beauty in them for you when you drive them back (to home), and when you send them forth (to pasture) (۶) وَتَحْمِلُ أَثْقَالَكُمْ إِلَى بَلَدٍ لَمْ تَكُونُوا بَالِغِيهِ إِلَّا بِشِقِّ الْأَنْفُسِ إِنَّ رَبَّكُمْ لَرَءُوفٌ رَحِيمٌ ﴿۷﴾And they carry your heavy loads to regions which you could not reach but with distress of the souls; most surely your Lord is Compassionate, Merciful (۷) وَالْخَيْلَ وَالْبِغَالَ وَالْحَمِيرَ لِتَرْكَبُوهَا وَزِينَةً وَيَخْلُقُ مَا لَا تَعْلَمُونَ ﴿۸﴾And (He made) horses and mules and asses that you might ride upon them and as an ornament; and He creates what you do not know (۸) وَعَلَى اللَّهِ قَصْدُ السَّبِيلِ وَمِنْهَا جَائِرٌ وَلَوْ شَاءَ لَهَدَاكُمْ أَجْمَعِينَ ﴿۹﴾And upon Allah it rests to show the right way, and there are some deviating (ways); and if He please He would certainly guide you all aright (۹) هُوَ الَّذِي أَنْزَلَ مِنَ السَّمَاءِ مَاءً لَكُمْ مِنْهُ شَرَابٌ وَمِنْهُ شَجَرٌ فِيهِ تُسِيمُونَ ﴿۱۰﴾He it is Who sends down water from the cloud for you; it gives drink, and by it (grow) the trees upon which you pasture (۱۰) يُنْبِتُ لَكُمْ بِهِ الزَّرْعَ وَالزَّيْتُونَ وَالنَّخِيلَ وَالْأَعْنَابَ وَمِنْ كُلِّ الثَّمَرَاتِ إِنَّ فِي ذَلِكَ لَآيَةً لِقَوْمٍ يَتَفَكَّرُونَ ﴿۱۱﴾He causes to grow for you thereby herbage, and the olives, and the palm trees, and the grapes, and of all the fruits; most surely there is a sign in this for a people who reflect (۱۱) وَسَخَّرَ لَكُمُ اللَّيْلَ وَالنَّهَارَ وَالشَّمْسَ وَالْقَمَرَ وَالنُّجُومُ مُسَخَّرَاتٌ بِأَمْرِهِ إِنَّ فِي ذَلِكَ لَآيَاتٍ لِقَوْمٍ يَعْقِلُونَ ﴿۱۲﴾And He has made subservient for you the night and the day and the sun and the moon, and the stars are made subservient by His commandment; most surely there are signs in this for a people who ponder; (۱۲) وَمَا ذَرَأَ لَكُمْ فِي الْأَرْضِ مُخْتَلِفًا أَلْوَانُهُ إِنَّ فِي ذَلِكَ لَآيَةً لِقَوْمٍ يَذَّكَّرُونَ ﴿۱۳﴾And what He has created in the earth of varied hues most surely there is a sign in this for a people who are mindful (۱۳) وَهُوَ الَّذِي سَخَّرَ الْبَحْرَ لِتَأْكُلُوا مِنْهُ لَحْمًا طَرِيًّا وَتَسْتَخْرِجُوا مِنْهُ حِلْيَةً تَلْبَسُونَهَا وَتَرَى الْفُلْكَ مَوَاخِرَ فِيهِ وَلِتَبْتَغُوا مِنْ فَضْلِهِ وَلَعَلَّكُمْ تَشْكُرُونَ ﴿۱۴﴾And He it is Who has made the sea subservient that you may eat fresh flesh from it and bring forth from it ornaments which you wear, and you see the ships cleaving through it, and that you might seek of His bounty and that you may give thanks (۱۴) وَأَلْقَى فِي الْأَرْضِ رَوَاسِيَ أَنْ تَمِيدَ بِكُمْ وَأَنْهَارًا وَسُبُلًا لَعَلَّكُمْ تَهْتَدُونَ ﴿۱۵﴾And He has cast great mountains in the earth lest it might be convulsed with you, and rivers and roads that you may go aright, (۱۵) وَعَلَامَاتٍ وَبِالنَّجْمِ هُمْ يَهْتَدُونَ ﴿۱۶﴾And landmarks; and by the stars they find the right way (۱۶) أَفَمَنْ يَخْلُقُ كَمَنْ لَا يَخْلُقُ أَفَلَا تَذَكَّرُونَ ﴿۱۷﴾Is He then Who creates like him who does not create? Do you not then mind? (۱۷) وَإِنْ تَعُدُّوا نِعْمَةَ اللَّهِ لَا تُحْصُوهَا إِنَّ اللَّهَ لَغَفُورٌ رَحِيمٌ ﴿۱۸﴾And if you would count Allah's favors, you will not be able to number them; most surely Allah is Forgiving, Merciful (۱۸) وَاللَّهُ يَعْلَمُ مَا تُسِرُّونَ وَمَا تُعْلِنُونَ ﴿۱۹﴾And Allah knows what you conceal and what you do openly (۱۹) وَالَّذِينَ يَدْعُونَ مِنْ دُونِ اللَّهِ لَا يَخْلُقُونَ شَيْئًا وَهُمْ يُخْلَقُونَ ﴿۲۰﴾And those whom they call on besides Allah have not created anything while they are themselves created; (۲۰) أَمْوَاتٌ غَيْرُ أَحْيَاءٍ وَمَا يَشْعُرُونَ أَيَّانَ يُبْعَثُونَ ﴿۲۱﴾Dead (are they), not living, and they know not when they shall be raised (۲۱) إِلَهُكُمْ إِلَهٌ وَاحِدٌ فَالَّذِينَ لَا يُؤْمِنُونَ بِالْآخِرَةِ قُلُوبُهُمْ مُنْكِرَةٌ وَهُمْ مُسْتَكْبِرُونَ ﴿۲۲﴾Your Allah is one Allah; so (as for) those who do not believe m the hereafter, their hearts are ignorant and they are proud (۲۲) لَا جَرَمَ أَنَّ اللَّهَ يَعْلَمُ مَا يُسِرُّونَ وَمَا يُعْلِنُونَ إِنَّهُ لَا يُحِبُّ الْمُسْتَكْبِرِينَ ﴿۲۳﴾Truly Allah knows what they hide and what they manifest; surely He does not love the proud (۲۳) وَإِذَا قِيلَ لَهُمْ مَاذَا أَنْزَلَ رَبُّكُمْ قَالُوا أَسَاطِيرُ الْأَوَّلِينَ ﴿۲۴﴾And when it is said to them, what is it that your Lord has revealed? They say: Stories of the ancients; (۲۴) لِيَحْمِلُوا أَوْزَارَهُمْ كَامِلَةً يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ وَمِنْ أَوْزَارِ الَّذِينَ يُضِلُّونَهُمْ بِغَيْرِ عِلْمٍ أَلَا سَاءَ مَا يَزِرُونَ ﴿۲۵﴾That they may bear their burdens entirely on the day of resurrection and also of the burdens of those whom they lead astray without knowledge; now surely evil is what they bear (۲۵) قَدْ مَكَرَ الَّذِينَ مِنْ قَبْلِهِمْ فَأَتَى اللَّهُ بُنْيَانَهُمْ مِنَ الْقَوَاعِدِ فَخَرَّ عَلَيْهِمُ السَّقْفُ مِنْ فَوْقِهِمْ وَأَتَاهُمُ الْعَذَابُ مِنْ حَيْثُ لَا يَشْعُرُونَ ﴿۲۶﴾Those before them did indeed devise plans, but Allah demolished their building from the foundations, so the roof fell down on them from above them, and the punishment came to them from whence they did not perceive (۲۶) ثُمَّ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ يُخْزِيهِمْ وَيَقُولُ أَيْنَ شُرَكَائِيَ الَّذِينَ كُنْتُمْ تُشَاقُّونَ فِيهِمْ قَالَ الَّذِينَ أُوتُوا الْعِلْمَ إِنَّ الْخِزْيَ الْيَوْمَ وَالسُّوءَ عَلَى الْكَافِرِينَ ﴿۲۷﴾Then on the resurrection day He will bring them to disgrace and say: Where are the associates you gave Me, for whose sake you became hostile? Those who are given the knowledge will say: Surely the disgrace and the evil are this day upon the unbelievers: (۲۷) الَّذِينَ تَتَوَفَّاهُمُ الْمَلَائِكَةُ ظَالِمِي أَنْفُسِهِمْ فَأَلْقَوُا السَّلَمَ مَا كُنَّا نَعْمَلُ مِنْ سُوءٍ بَلَى إِنَّ اللَّهَ عَلِيمٌ بِمَا كُنْتُمْ تَعْمَلُونَ ﴿۲۸﴾Those whom the angels cause to die while they are unjust to themselves. Then would they offer submission: We used not to do any evil. Aye! surely Allah knows what you did (۲۸) فَادْخُلُوا أَبْوَابَ جَهَنَّمَ خَالِدِينَ فِيهَا فَلَبِئْسَ مَثْوَى الْمُتَكَبِّرِينَ ﴿۲۹﴾Therefore enter the gates of hell, to abide therein; so certainly evil is the dwelling place of the proud (۲۹) وَقِيلَ لِلَّذِينَ اتَّقَوْا مَاذَا أَنْزَلَ رَبُّكُمْ قَالُوا خَيْرًا لِلَّذِينَ أَحْسَنُوا فِي هَذِهِ الدُّنْيَا حَسَنَةٌ وَلَدَارُ الْآخِرَةِ خَيْرٌ وَلَنِعْمَ دَارُ الْمُتَّقِينَ ﴿۳۰﴾And it is said to those who guard (against evil): What is it that your Lord has revealed? They say, Good. For those who do good in this world is good, and certainly the abode of the hereafter is better; and certainly most excellent is the abode of those who guard (against evil); (۳۰) جَنَّاتُ عَدْنٍ يَدْخُلُونَهَا تَجْرِي مِنْ تَحْتِهَا الْأَنْهَارُ لَهُمْ فِيهَا مَا يَشَاءُونَ كَذَلِكَ يَجْزِي اللَّهُ الْمُتَّقِينَ ﴿۳۱﴾The gardens of perpetuity, they shall enter them, rivers flowing beneath them; they shall have in them what they please. Thus does Allah reward those who guard (against evil), (۳۱) الَّذِينَ تَتَوَفَّاهُمُ الْمَلَائِكَةُ طَيِّبِينَ يَقُولُونَ سَلَامٌ عَلَيْكُمُ ادْخُلُوا الْجَنَّةَ بِمَا كُنْتُمْ تَعْمَلُونَ ﴿۳۲﴾Those whom the angels cause to die in a good state, saying: Peace be on you: enter the garden for what you did (۳۲) هَلْ يَنْظُرُونَ إِلَّا أَنْ تَأْتِيَهُمُ الْمَلَائِكَةُ أَوْ يَأْتِيَ أَمْرُ رَبِّكَ كَذَلِكَ فَعَلَ الَّذِينَ مِنْ قَبْلِهِمْ وَمَا ظَلَمَهُمُ اللَّهُ وَلَكِنْ كَانُوا أَنْفُسَهُمْ يَظْلِمُونَ ﴿۳۳﴾They do not wait aught but that the angels should come to them or that the commandment of your Lord should come to pass. Thus did those before them; and Allah was not unjust to them, but they were unjust to themselves (۳۳) فَأَصَابَهُمْ سَيِّئَاتُ مَا عَمِلُوا وَحَاقَ بِهِمْ مَا كَانُوا بِهِ يَسْتَهْزِئُونَ ﴿۳۴﴾So the evil (consequences) of what they did shall afflict them and that which they mocked shall encompass them (۳۴) وَقَالَ الَّذِينَ أَشْرَكُوا لَوْ شَاءَ اللَّهُ مَا عَبَدْنَا مِنْ دُونِهِ مِنْ شَيْءٍ نَحْنُ وَلَا آبَاؤُنَا وَلَا حَرَّمْنَا مِنْ دُونِهِ مِنْ شَيْءٍ كَذَلِكَ فَعَلَ الَّذِينَ مِنْ قَبْلِهِمْ فَهَلْ عَلَى الرُّسُلِ إِلَّا الْبَلَاغُ الْمُبِينُ ﴿۳۵﴾And they who give associates (to Allah) say: If Allah had pleased, we would not have served anything besides Allah, (neither) we nor our fathers, nor would we have prohibited anything without (order from) Him. Thus did those before them; is then aught incumbent upon the messengers except a plain delivery (of the message)? (۳۵) وَلَقَدْ بَعَثْنَا فِي كُلِّ أُمَّةٍ رَسُولًا أَنِ اعْبُدُوا اللَّهَ وَاجْتَنِبُوا الطَّاغُوتَ فَمِنْهُمْ مَنْ هَدَى اللَّهُ وَمِنْهُمْ مَنْ حَقَّتْ عَلَيْهِ الضَّلَالَةُ فَسِيرُوا فِي الْأَرْضِ فَانْظُرُوا كَيْفَ كَانَ عَاقِبَةُ الْمُكَذِّبِينَ ﴿۳۶﴾And certainly We raised in every nation a messenger saying: Serve Allah and shun the Shaitan. So there were some of them whom Allah guided and there were others against whom error was due; therefore travel in the land, then see what was the end of the rejecters (۳۶) إِنْ تَحْرِصْ عَلَى هُدَاهُمْ فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ لَا يَهْدِي مَنْ يُضِلُّ وَمَا لَهُمْ مِنْ نَاصِرِينَ ﴿۳۷﴾If you desire for their guidance, yet surely Allah does not guide him who leads astray, nor shall they have any helpers (۳۷) وَأَقْسَمُوا بِاللَّهِ جَهْدَ أَيْمَانِهِمْ لَا يَبْعَثُ اللَّهُ مَنْ يَمُوتُ بَلَى وَعْدًا عَلَيْهِ حَقًّا وَلَكِنَّ أَكْثَرَ النَّاسِ لَا يَعْلَمُونَ ﴿۳۸﴾And they swear by Allah with the most energetic of their oaths: Allah will not raise up him who dies. Yea! it is a promise binding on Him, quite true, but most people do not know; (۳۸) لِيُبَيِّنَ لَهُمُ الَّذِي يَخْتَلِفُونَ فِيهِ وَلِيَعْلَمَ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا أَنَّهُمْ كَانُوا كَاذِبِينَ ﴿۳۹﴾So that He might make manifest to them that about which they differ, and that those who disbelieve might know that they were liars (۳۹) إِنَّمَا قَوْلُنَا لِشَيْءٍ إِذَا أَرَدْنَاهُ أَنْ نَقُولَ لَهُ كُنْ فَيَكُونُ ﴿۴۰﴾Our word for a thing when We intend it, is only that We say to it, Be, and it is (۴۰) وَالَّذِينَ هَاجَرُوا فِي اللَّهِ مِنْ بَعْدِ مَا ظُلِمُوا لَنُبَوِّئَنَّهُمْ فِي الدُّنْيَا حَسَنَةً وَلَأَجْرُ الْآخِرَةِ أَكْبَرُ لَوْ كَانُوا يَعْلَمُونَ ﴿۴۱﴾And those who fly for Allah's sake after they are oppressed, We will most certainly give them a good abode in the world, and the reward of the hereafter is certainly much greater, did they but know; (۴۱) الَّذِينَ صَبَرُوا وَعَلَى رَبِّهِمْ يَتَوَكَّلُونَ ﴿۴۲﴾Those who are patient and on their Lord do they rely (۴۲) وَمَا أَرْسَلْنَا مِنْ قَبْلِكَ إِلَّا رِجَالًا نُوحِي إِلَيْهِمْ فَاسْأَلُوا أَهْلَ الذِّكْرِ إِنْ كُنْتُمْ لَا تَعْلَمُونَ ﴿۴۳﴾And We did not send before you any but men to whom We sent revelation-- so ask the followers of the Reminder if you do not know-- (۴۳) بِالْبَيِّنَاتِ وَالزُّبُرِ وَأَنْزَلْنَا إِلَيْكَ الذِّكْرَ لِتُبَيِّنَ لِلنَّاسِ مَا نُزِّلَ إِلَيْهِمْ وَلَعَلَّهُمْ يَتَفَكَّرُونَ ﴿۴۴﴾With clear arguments and scriptures; and We have revealed to you the Reminder that you may make clear to men what has been revealed to them, and that haply they may reflect (۴۴) أَفَأَمِنَ الَّذِينَ مَكَرُوا السَّيِّئَاتِ أَنْ يَخْسِفَ اللَّهُ بِهِمُ الْأَرْضَ أَوْ يَأْتِيَهُمُ الْعَذَابُ مِنْ حَيْثُ لَا يَشْعُرُونَ ﴿۴۵﴾Do they then who plan evil (deeds) feel secure (of this) that Allah will not cause the earth to swallow them or that punishment may not overtake them from whence they do not perceive? (۴۵) أَوْ يَأْخُذَهُمْ فِي تَقَلُّبِهِمْ فَمَا هُمْ بِمُعْجِزِينَ ﴿۴۶﴾Or that He may not seize them in the course of their journeys, then shall they not escape; (۴۶) أَوْ يَأْخُذَهُمْ عَلَى تَخَوُّفٍ فَإِنَّ رَبَّكُمْ لَرَءُوفٌ رَحِيمٌ ﴿۴۷﴾Or that He may not seize them by causing them to suffer gradual loss, for your Lord is most surely Compassionate, Merciful (۴۷) أَوَلَمْ يَرَوْا إِلَى مَا خَلَقَ اللَّهُ مِنْ شَيْءٍ يَتَفَيَّأُ ظِلَالُهُ عَنِ الْيَمِينِ وَالشَّمَائِلِ سُجَّدًا لِلَّهِ وَهُمْ دَاخِرُونَ ﴿۴۸﴾Do they not consider every thing that Allah has created? Its (very) shadows return from right and left, making obeisance to Allah while they are in utter abasement (۴۸) وَلِلَّهِ يَسْجُدُ مَا فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَمَا فِي الْأَرْضِ مِنْ دَابَّةٍ وَالْمَلَائِكَةُ وَهُمْ لَا يَسْتَكْبِرُونَ ﴿۴۹﴾And whatever creature that is in the heavens and that is in the earth makes obeisance to Allah (only), and the angels (too) and they do not show pride (۴۹) يَخَافُونَ رَبَّهُمْ مِنْ فَوْقِهِمْ وَيَفْعَلُونَ مَا يُؤْمَرُونَ ﴿۵۰﴾They fear their Lord above them and do what they are commanded (۵۰) وَقَالَ اللَّهُ لَا تَتَّخِذُوا إِلَهَيْنِ اثْنَيْنِ إِنَّمَا هُوَ إِلَهٌ وَاحِدٌ فَإِيَّايَ فَارْهَبُونِ ﴿۵۱﴾And Allah has said: Take not two gods, He is only one Allah; so of Me alone should you be afraid (۵۱) وَلَهُ مَا فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ وَلَهُ الدِّينُ وَاصِبًا أَفَغَيْرَ اللَّهِ تَتَّقُونَ ﴿۵۲﴾And whatever is in the heavens and the earth is His, and to Him should obedience be (rendered) constantly; will you then guard against other than (the punishment of) Allah? (۵۲) وَمَا بِكُمْ مِنْ نِعْمَةٍ فَمِنَ اللَّهِ ثُمَّ إِذَا مَسَّكُمُ الضُّرُّ فَإِلَيْهِ تَجْأَرُونَ ﴿۵۳﴾And whatever favor is (bestowed) on you it is from Allah; then when evil afflicts you, to Him do you cry for aid (۵۳) ثُمَّ إِذَا كَشَفَ الضُّرَّ عَنْكُمْ إِذَا فَرِيقٌ مِنْكُمْ بِرَبِّهِمْ يُشْرِكُونَ ﴿۵۴﴾Yet when He removes the evil from you, lo ! a party of you associate others with their Lord; (۵۴) لِيَكْفُرُوا بِمَا آتَيْنَاهُمْ فَتَمَتَّعُوا فَسَوْفَ تَعْلَمُونَ ﴿۵۵﴾So that they be ungrateful for what We have given them; then enjoy yourselves; for soon will you know (۵۵) وَيَجْعَلُونَ لِمَا لَا يَعْلَمُونَ نَصِيبًا مِمَّا رَزَقْنَاهُمْ تَاللَّهِ لَتُسْأَلُنَّ عَمَّا كُنْتُمْ تَفْتَرُونَ ﴿۵۶﴾And they set apart for what they do not know a portion of what We have given them. By Allah, you shall most certainly be questioned about that which you forged (۵۶) وَيَجْعَلُونَ لِلَّهِ الْبَنَاتِ سُبْحَانَهُ وَلَهُمْ مَا يَشْتَهُونَ ﴿۵۷﴾And they ascribe daughters to Allah, glory be to Him; and for themselves (they would have) what they desire (۵۷) وَإِذَا بُشِّرَ أَحَدُهُمْ بِالْأُنْثَى ظَلَّ وَجْهُهُ مُسْوَدًّا وَهُوَ كَظِيمٌ ﴿۵۸﴾And when a daughter is announced to one of them his face becomes black and he is full of wrath (۵۸) يَتَوَارَى مِنَ الْقَوْمِ مِنْ سُوءِ مَا بُشِّرَ بِهِ أَيُمْسِكُهُ عَلَى هُونٍ أَمْ يَدُسُّهُ فِي التُّرَابِ أَلَا سَاءَ مَا يَحْكُمُونَ ﴿۵۹﴾He hides himself from the people because of the evil of that which is announced to him. Shall he keep it with disgrace or bury it (alive) in the dust? Now surely evil is what they judge (۵۹) لِلَّذِينَ لَا يُؤْمِنُونَ بِالْآخِرَةِ مَثَلُ السَّوْءِ وَلِلَّهِ الْمَثَلُ الْأَعْلَى وَهُوَ الْعَزِيزُ الْحَكِيمُ ﴿۶۰﴾For those who do not believe in the hereafter is an evil attribute, and Allah's is the loftiest attribute; and He is the Mighty, the Wise (۶۰) وَلَوْ يُؤَاخِذُ اللَّهُ النَّاسَ بِظُلْمِهِمْ مَا تَرَكَ عَلَيْهَا مِنْ دَابَّةٍ وَلَكِنْ يُؤَخِّرُهُمْ إِلَى أَجَلٍ مُسَمًّى فَإِذَا جَاءَ أَجَلُهُمْ لَا يَسْتَأْخِرُونَ سَاعَةً وَلَا يَسْتَقْدِمُونَ ﴿۶۱﴾And if Allah had destroyed men for their iniquity, He would not leave on the earth a single creature, but He respites them till an appointed time; so when their doom will come they shall not be able to delay (it) an hour nor can they bring (it) on (before its time) (۶۱) وَيَجْعَلُونَ لِلَّهِ مَا يَكْرَهُونَ وَتَصِفُ أَلْسِنَتُهُمُ الْكَذِبَ أَنَّ لَهُمُ الْحُسْنَى لَا جَرَمَ أَنَّ لَهُمُ النَّارَ وَأَنَّهُمْ مُفْرَطُونَ ﴿۶۲﴾And they ascribe to Allah what they (themselves) hate and their tongues relate the lie that they shall have the good; there is no avoiding it that for them is the fire and that they shall be sent before (۶۲) تَاللَّهِ لَقَدْ أَرْسَلْنَا إِلَى أُمَمٍ مِنْ قَبْلِكَ فَزَيَّنَ لَهُمُ الشَّيْطَانُ أَعْمَالَهُمْ فَهُوَ وَلِيُّهُمُ الْيَوْمَ وَلَهُمْ عَذَابٌ أَلِيمٌ ﴿۶۳﴾By Allah, most certainly We sent (messengers) to nations before you, but the Shaitan made their deeds fair-seeming to them, so he is their guardian today, and they shall have a painful punishment (۶۳) وَمَا أَنْزَلْنَا عَلَيْكَ الْكِتَابَ إِلَّا لِتُبَيِّنَ لَهُمُ الَّذِي اخْتَلَفُوا فِيهِ وَهُدًى وَرَحْمَةً لِقَوْمٍ يُؤْمِنُونَ ﴿۶۴﴾And We have not revealed to you the Book except that you may make clear to them that about which they differ, and (as) a guidance and a mercy for a people who believe (۶۴) وَاللَّهُ أَنْزَلَ مِنَ السَّمَاءِ مَاءً فَأَحْيَا بِهِ الْأَرْضَ بَعْدَ مَوْتِهَا إِنَّ فِي ذَلِكَ لَآيَةً لِقَوْمٍ يَسْمَعُونَ ﴿۶۵﴾And Allah has sent down water from the cloud and therewith given life to the earth after its death; most surely there is a sign in this for a people who would listen (۶۵) وَإِنَّ لَكُمْ فِي الْأَنْعَامِ لَعِبْرَةً نُسْقِيكُمْ مِمَّا فِي بُطُونِهِ مِنْ بَيْنِ فَرْثٍ وَدَمٍ لَبَنًا خَالِصًا سَائِغًا لِلشَّارِبِينَ ﴿۶۶﴾And most surely there is a lesson for you in the cattle; We give you to drink of what is in their bellies-- from betwixt the feces and the blood-- pure milk, easy and agreeable to swallow for those who drink (۶۶) وَمِنْ ثَمَرَاتِ النَّخِيلِ وَالْأَعْنَابِ تَتَّخِذُونَ مِنْهُ سَكَرًا وَرِزْقًا حَسَنًا إِنَّ فِي ذَلِكَ لَآيَةً لِقَوْمٍ يَعْقِلُونَ ﴿۶۷﴾And of the fruits of the palms and the grapes-- you obtain from them intoxication and goodly provision; most surely there is a sign in this for a people who ponder (۶۷) وَأَوْحَى رَبُّكَ إِلَى النَّحْلِ أَنِ اتَّخِذِي مِنَ الْجِبَالِ بُيُوتًا وَمِنَ الشَّجَرِ وَمِمَّا يَعْرِشُونَ ﴿۶۸﴾And your Lord revealed to the bee saying: Make hives in the mountains and in the trees and in what they build: (۶۸) ثُمَّ كُلِي مِنْ كُلِّ الثَّمَرَاتِ فَاسْلُكِي سُبُلَ رَبِّكِ ذُلُلًا يَخْرُجُ مِنْ بُطُونِهَا شَرَابٌ مُخْتَلِفٌ أَلْوَانُهُ فِيهِ شِفَاءٌ لِلنَّاسِ إِنَّ فِي ذَلِكَ لَآيَةً لِقَوْمٍ يَتَفَكَّرُونَ ﴿۶۹﴾Then eat of all the fruits and walk in the ways of your Lord submissively. There comes forth from within it a beverage of many colours, in which there is healing for men; most surely there is a sign in this for a people who reflect (۶۹) وَاللَّهُ خَلَقَكُمْ ثُمَّ يَتَوَفَّاكُمْ وَمِنْكُمْ مَنْ يُرَدُّ إِلَى أَرْذَلِ الْعُمُرِ لِكَيْ لَا يَعْلَمَ بَعْدَ عِلْمٍ شَيْئًا إِنَّ اللَّهَ عَلِيمٌ قَدِيرٌ ﴿۷۰﴾And Allah has created you, then He causes you to die, and of you is he who is brought back to the worst part of life, so that after having knowledge he does not know anything; surely Allah is Knowing, Powerful (۷۰) وَاللَّهُ فَضَّلَ بَعْضَكُمْ عَلَى بَعْضٍ فِي الرِّزْقِ فَمَا الَّذِينَ فُضِّلُوا بِرَادِّي رِزْقِهِمْ عَلَى مَا مَلَكَتْ أَيْمَانُهُمْ فَهُمْ فِيهِ سَوَاءٌ أَفَبِنِعْمَةِ اللَّهِ يَجْحَدُونَ ﴿۷۱﴾And Allah has made some of you excel others in the means of subsistence, so those who are made to excel do not give away their sustenance to those whom their right hands possess so that they should be equal therein; is it then the favor of Allah which they deny? The tongue of him whom they reproach is barbarous, and this is clear Arabic tongue (۱۰۳) إِنَّ الَّذِينَ لَا يُؤْمِنُونَ بِآيَاتِ اللَّهِ لَا يَهْدِيهِمُ اللَّهُ وَلَهُمْ عَذَابٌ أَلِيمٌ ﴿۱۰۴﴾(As for) those who do not believe in Allah's communications, surely Allah will not guide them, and they shall have a painful punishment (۱۰۴) إِنَّمَا يَفْتَرِي الْكَذِبَ الَّذِينَ لَا يُؤْمِنُونَ بِآيَاتِ اللَّهِ وَأُولَئِكَ هُمُ الْكَاذِبُونَ ﴿۱۰۵﴾Only they forge the lie who do not believe in Allah's communications, and these are the liars (۱۰۵) مَنْ كَفَرَ بِاللَّهِ مِنْ بَعْدِ إِيمَانِهِ إِلَّا مَنْ أُكْرِهَ وَقَلْبُهُ مُطْمَئِنٌّ بِالْإِيمَانِ وَلَكِنْ مَنْ شَرَحَ بِالْكُفْرِ صَدْرًا فَعَلَيْهِمْ غَضَبٌ مِنَ اللَّهِ وَلَهُمْ عَذَابٌ عَظِيمٌ ﴿۱۰۶﴾He who disbelieves in Allah after his having believed, not he who is compelled while his heart is at rest on account of faith, but he who opens (his) breast to disbelief-- on these is the wrath of Allah, and they shall have a grievous chastisement (۱۰۶) ذَلِكَ بِأَنَّهُمُ اسْتَحَبُّوا الْحَيَاةَ الدُّنْيَا عَلَى الْآخِرَةِ وَأَنَّ اللَّهَ لَا يَهْدِي الْقَوْمَ الْكَافِرِينَ ﴿۱۰۷﴾This is because they love this world's life more than the hereafter, and because Allah does not guide the unbelieving people (۱۰۷) أُولَئِكَ الَّذِينَ طَبَعَ اللَّهُ عَلَى قُلُوبِهِمْ وَسَمْعِهِمْ وَأَبْصَارِهِمْ وَأُولَئِكَ هُمُ الْغَافِلُونَ ﴿۱۰۸﴾These are they on whose hearts and their hearing and their eyes Allah has set a seal, and these are the heedless ones (۱۰۸) لَا جَرَمَ أَنَّهُمْ فِي الْآخِرَةِ هُمُ الْخَاسِرُونَ ﴿۱۰۹﴾No doubt that in the hereafter they will be the losers (۱۰۹) ثُمَّ إِنَّ رَبَّكَ لِلَّذِينَ هَاجَرُوا مِنْ بَعْدِ مَا فُتِنُوا ثُمَّ جَاهَدُوا وَصَبَرُوا إِنَّ رَبَّكَ مِنْ بَعْدِهَا لَغَفُورٌ رَحِيمٌ ﴿۱۱۰﴾Yet surely your Lord, with respect to those who fly after they are persecuted, then they struggle hard and are patient, most surely your Lord after that is Forgiving, Merciful (۱۱۰) يَوْمَ تَأْتِي كُلُّ نَفْسٍ تُجَادِلُ عَنْ نَفْسِهَا وَتُوَفَّى كُلُّ نَفْسٍ مَا عَمِلَتْ وَهُمْ لَا يُظْلَمُونَ ﴿۱۱۱﴾(Remember) the day when every soul shall come, pleading for itself and every soul shall be paid in full what it has done, and they shall not be dealt with unjustly (۱۱۱) وَضَرَبَ اللَّهُ مَثَلًا قَرْيَةً كَانَتْ آمِنَةً مُطْمَئِنَّةً يَأْتِيهَا رِزْقُهَا رَغَدًا مِنْ كُلِّ مَكَانٍ فَكَفَرَتْ بِأَنْعُمِ اللَّهِ فَأَذَاقَهَا اللَّهُ لِبَاسَ الْجُوعِ وَالْخَوْفِ بِمَا كَانُوا يَصْنَعُونَ ﴿۱۱۲﴾And Allah sets forth a parable: (Consider) a town safe and secure to which its means of subsistence come in abundance from every quarter; but it became ungrateful to Allah's favors, therefore Allah made it to taste the utmost degree of hunger and fear because of what they wrought (۱۱۲) وَلَقَدْ جَاءَهُمْ رَسُولٌ مِنْهُمْ فَكَذَّبُوهُ فَأَخَذَهُمُ الْعَذَابُ وَهُمْ ظَالِمُونَ ﴿۱۱۳﴾And certainly there came to them a Messenger from among them, but they rejected him, so the punishment overtook them while they were unjust (۱۱۳) فَكُلُوا مِمَّا رَزَقَكُمُ اللَّهُ حَلَالًا طَيِّبًا وَاشْكُرُوا نِعْمَتَ اللَّهِ إِنْ كُنْتُمْ إِيَّاهُ تَعْبُدُونَ ﴿۱۱۴﴾Therefore eat of what Allah has given you, lawful and good (things), and give thanks for Allah's favor if Him do you serve (۱۱۴) إِنَّمَا حَرَّمَ عَلَيْكُمُ الْمَيْتَةَ وَالدَّمَ وَلَحْمَ الْخِنْزِيرِ وَمَا أُهِلَّ لِغَيْرِ اللَّهِ بِهِ فَمَنِ اضْطُرَّ غَيْرَ بَاغٍ وَلَا عَادٍ فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ غَفُورٌ رَحِيمٌ ﴿۱۱۵﴾He has only forbidden you what dies of itself and blood and flesh of swine and that over which any other name than that of Allah has been invoked, but whoever is driven to necessity, not desiring nor exceeding the limit, then surely Allah is Forgiving, Merciful (۱۱۵) وَلَا تَقُولُوا لِمَا تَصِفُ أَلْسِنَتُكُمُ الْكَذِبَ هَذَا حَلَالٌ وَهَذَا حَرَامٌ لِتَفْتَرُوا عَلَى اللَّهِ الْكَذِبَ إِنَّ الَّذِينَ يَفْتَرُونَ عَلَى اللَّهِ الْكَذِبَ لَا يُفْلِحُونَ ﴿۱۱۶﴾And, for what your tongues describe, do not utter the lie, (saying) This is lawful and this is unlawful, in order to forge a lie against Allah; surely those who forge the lie against Allah shall not prosper (۱۱۶) مَتَاعٌ قَلِيلٌ وَلَهُمْ عَذَابٌ أَلِيمٌ ﴿۱۱۷﴾A little enjoyment and they shall have a painful punishment (۱۱۷) وَعَلَى الَّذِينَ هَادُوا حَرَّمْنَا مَا قَصَصْنَا عَلَيْكَ مِنْ قَبْلُ وَمَا ظَلَمْنَاهُمْ وَلَكِنْ كَانُوا أَنْفُسَهُمْ يَظْلِمُونَ ﴿۱۱۸﴾And for those who were Jews We prohibited what We have related to you already, and We did them no injustice, but they were unjust to themselves (۱۱۸) ثُمَّ إِنَّ رَبَّكَ لِلَّذِينَ عَمِلُوا السُّوءَ بِجَهَالَةٍ ثُمَّ تَابُوا مِنْ بَعْدِ ذَلِكَ وَأَصْلَحُوا إِنَّ رَبَّكَ مِنْ بَعْدِهَا لَغَفُورٌ رَحِيمٌ ﴿۱۱۹﴾Yet surely your Lord, with respect to those who do an evil in ignorance, then turn after that and make amends, most surely your Lord after that is Forgiving, Merciful (۱۱۹) إِنَّ إِبْرَاهِيمَ كَانَ أُمَّةً قَانِتًا لِلَّهِ حَنِيفًا وَلَمْ يَكُ مِنَ الْمُشْرِكِينَ ﴿۱۲۰﴾Surely Ibrahim was an exemplar, obedient to Allah, upright, and he was not of the polytheists (۱۲۰) شَاكِرًا لِأَنْعُمِهِ اجْتَبَاهُ وَهَدَاهُ إِلَى صِرَاطٍ مُسْتَقِيمٍ ﴿۱۲۱﴾Grateful for His favors; surely your Lord best knows those who go astray from His path, and He knows best those who follow the right way (۱۲۵) وَإِنْ عَاقَبْتُمْ فَعَاقِبُوا بِمِثْلِ مَا عُوقِبْتُمْ بِهِ وَلَئِنْ صَبَرْتُمْ لَهُوَ خَيْرٌ لِلصَّابِرِينَ ﴿۱۲۶﴾And if you take your turn, then retaliate with the like of that with which you were afflicted; but if you are patient, it will certainly be best for those who are patient (۱۲۶) وَاصْبِرْ وَمَا صَبْرُكَ إِلَّا بِاللَّهِ وَلَا تَحْزَنْ عَلَيْهِمْ وَلَا تَكُ فِي ضَيْقٍ مِمَّا يَمْكُرُونَ ﴿۱۲۷﴾And be patient and your patience is not but by (the assistance of) Allah, and grieve not for them, and do not distress yourself at what they plan (۱۲۷) إِنَّ اللَّهَ مَعَ الَّذِينَ اتَّقَوْا وَالَّذِينَ هُمْ مُحْسِنُونَ ﴿۱۲۸﴾Surely Allah is with those who guard (against evil) and those who do good (to others) (۱۲۸)

So when he had crossed it, he and those who believed with him, they said: We have today no power against Jalut and his forces. Those who were sure that they would meet their Lord said: How often has a small party vanquished a numerous host by Allah's permission, and Allah is with the patient.

Shaykh Faraz Rabbani explains the closing ten verses of Surat Aal-Imran (3.190-200):Indeed, in the creation of the heavens and the earth and the alternation of he day and night  there are signs for people of reason,˹They are those who remember Allah while standing, sitting, and lying on their sides, and reflect on the creation of the heavens and the earth ˹and pray˺, “Our Lord! You have not created ˹all of˺ this without purpose. Glory be to You! Protect us from the torment of the Fire. Our Lord! Indeed, those You commit to the Fire will be ˹completely˺ disgraced! And the wrongdoers will have no helpers. Our Lord! We have heard the caller to ˹true˺ belief, ˹proclaiming,˺ ‘Believe in your Lord ˹alone˺,' so we believed. Our Lord! Forgive our sins, absolve us of our misdeeds, and allow us ˹each˺ to die as one of the virtuous Our Lord! Grant us what You have promised us through Your messengers and do not put us to shame on Judgment Day—for certainly You never fail in Your promise.”So their Lord responded to them: “I will never deny any of you—male or female—the reward of your deeds. Both are equal in reward. Those who migrated or were expelled from their homes, and were persecuted for My sake and fought and ˹some˺ were martyred—I will certainly forgive their sins and admit them into Gardens under which rivers flow, as a reward from Allah. And with Allah is the finest reward!”Do not be deceived by the prosperity of the disbelievers throughout the land. It is only a brief enjoyment. Then Hell will be their home—what an evil place to rest! But those who are mindful of their Lord will be in Gardens under which rivers flow, to stay there forever—as an accommodation from Allah. And what is with Allah is best for the virtuous.Indeed, there are some among the People of the Book who truly believe in Allah and what has been revealed to you ˹believers˺ and what was revealed to them. They humble themselves before Allah—never trading Allah's revelations for a fleeting gain. Their reward is with their Lord. Surely Allah is swift in reckoning. O believers! Patiently endure, persevere stand on guard, and be mindful of Allah, so you may be successful. (translation from Clear Qur'an by Dr. Mustafa Khattab, taken from Quran.com)  In which the Messenger of Allah (peace & blessings be upon him) regularly recited when he got up for night worship. These verses affirm the importance of Reflection and Remembrance (fikr and dhikr) as the means for certitude (yaqin) and true, living, transformative faith (Iman). And they close with a memorable verse calling believers to patience, steadfastness, fortitude, and mindfulness as keys to eternal success.
