Karen's Spiritual Pilgrim Journey by Karen Rich-Franklin  This book describes my days on a pilgrimage to Haifa, Israel before the pandemic hit the world, and my feelings and thoughts on each day of the magnificence, serenity, and deeply felt love in each and everything I did with the assigned group of each day. Even today I shed tears when reflecting on my time and being in the presence of such grandeur and beauty. The Baháʼí Faith is just waiting for receptive souls to reach out and grasp hold of the reigns of this glorious pathway to gain virtue and practice daily good deeds. I sit and wonder at how I have been blessed with this wondrous ‘Prescription for Living' (Rabbani, 1950) in my days of material living. I offer to the readers a glimpse of my journey with the thought that maybe you also are searching, seeking, wondering, ‘where can I find the place I belong?' The Baháʼí Faith may be that place for you.Karen Rich-Franklin has been a Baha'i for 29 years and lives on the Central Coast of California, USA. She has served on Local Spiritual Assemblies, offered children/ junior youth classes, holds family devotionals, and provides study circles as a pattern of living in accordance with the teachings and principles of the Baha'i Faith. After being on a pilgrimage, Karen holds a stronger conviction on the reality of the Oneness of God, Oneness of Religion, and Oneness of Mankind.Other activities Karen has interests in are: movies, walking, gardening, sewing, baking, and hanging out with family and friends.https://www.amazon.com/Karens-Spiritual-Pilgrim-Journey-Rich-Franklin-ebook/dp/B0DG2WF4BK/ref=sr_1_1?dib=eyJ2IjoiMSJ9.KetGLDZQVLoJSIgp8cSSdFxYIaDwAwgRsMgixm2nhZowNKFWbF3hhmMcN1L5AwFKWQBHKp0QiV3ZxqYOJlDaXPqW_nJ3SG99vgYueNEUz1I.hRLAjPSzuhtxgItg59DI1ziO0npcn74VpX0fIzw_rcY&dib_tag=se&keywords=Karen%E2%80%99s+Spiritual+Pilgrim+Journey&qid=1729338501&sr=8-1http://www.KingPagesPress.com   http://www.bluefunkbroadcasting.com/root/twia/102424hkn.mp3

In this episode of Mid Atlantic, host Roifield Brown engages in a profound discussion with Mouin Rabbani, a renowned expert on Middle Eastern affairs, focusing on the Palestinian struggle and its intricate position within the evolving dynamics of the Middle East. Rabbani offers a comprehensive analysis of Israel's intensified military actions in Gaza and the broader regional implications, highlighting the potential for an all-out regional war involving various actors like Hezbollah, the Houthis, and Iran.Rabbani sheds light on the complexities within the Palestinian political landscape, particularly the disintegration of Fatah and the weakening of Mahmoud Abbas's leadership. He argues that this internal division has hindered the Palestinian cause on the global stage, leaving a void where a strong, unified voice could have garnered more substantial international support. The conversation also touches on the critical role of international diplomacy, especially the impact of U.S. politics on the Middle East. Rabbani suggests that while U.S. support for Israel remains unwavering, the political landscape is slowly shifting, with growing public and political scrutiny of Israel's actions. The episode concludes with a sobering reflection on the future of the Palestinian state, acknowledging the immense challenges ahead but also hinting at the possibility of a turning point in the ongoing struggle for sovereignty.Key Quotes:"Israel has transformed itself into a rogue state, a pariah state, a genocidal regime in the eyes of much of Western public opinion.""The disintegration of Fatah has left the Palestinian cause without a strong, unified voice on the global stage.""We may now be closer to the beginning of the end than we were a year ago, but this struggle requires time, organization, and commitment.""Mahmoud Abbas's leadership has become a significant obstacle to Palestinian national unity.""Biden's unconditional support for Israel has reached a level of fanatic devotion, surpassing even his predecessors."Further Reading:Jadaliyya: For more in-depth analysis and writings by Mouin Rabbani.Feel free to explore these resources for a deeper understanding of the issues discussed in this Hosted on Acast. Two Months That Shook the World: The First Phase of the Gaza War

Intercepted with Jeremy Scahill

On Friday morning, Israel resumed its bombing campaign against Gaza, and the civilian death toll is once again rising. Both Hamas and Israel accused the other of violating the temporary truce. Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Gallant has promised, “We will fight in the entire [Gaza] Strip.” Despite meekly worded suggestions from Secretary of State Antony Blinken that Israel make an effort to reduce civilian deaths, the U.S. position remains one of full-throttled support for a military campaign that has killed more than 15,000 Palestinians, the vast majority of them children and other civilians. In this special episode of Intercepted, political analyst Mouin Rabbani, co-editor of the Arab Studies Institute's ezine Jadaliyya, offers a provocative analysis of the current situation. In a discussion with Jeremy Scahill and Murtaza Hussain, Rabbani suggests that behind the belligerent rhetoric and Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's proclamations he will eradicate Hamas, Israel may already be heading for a bloody quagmire it is unlikely to transform into an accomplishment of its stated goals. “We're now well into the second month of this war, and the most Israel has been able to achieve is to raise the Israeli flag on a hospital. It's not exactly Iwo Jima,” Rabbani says. The “Israeli military is a very effective killing machine when it's dropping 2,000-pound bombs from the air, but a rather mediocre fighting force when it comes to ground operations.” Rabbani describes the evolution of Hamas's strategy and tactics over the past decades and maps out several scenarios that might emerge in the coming period. “The idea that you can wipe [Hamas] out, even if you fully succeed in conquering every last square inch of the Gaza Strip, is an illusion,” he says. “It is effectively impossible to resume this war without regional escalation.”If you'd like to support our work, go to theintercept.com/give, where your donation, no matter what the amount, makes a real difference. And if you haven't already, please subscribe to the show so you can hear it every week. How far would you go to protect a client? When Muhammad Rabbani, a human rights advocate, was stopped and interrogated on his way back to the UK after working with a high profile client, it was an experience he was familiar with. As a Muslim and an activist, he'd been stopped at the airport many times before. This time however, when he refused to give up the passwords to his personal devices, he was arrested, charged and convicted under the Terrorism Act.His fight to clear his name has been documented in the new film 'Phantom Parrot', which highlights the controversial 'Schedule 7' clause that allows police to detain and question citizens at the border without suspicion, and how it's used to gather and share intelligence with other bodies such as the FBI.This week on the Big Picture podcast, we sit down with Rabbani, who is the managing director of CAGE, to hear his story firsthand, and why he thinks it should shock and concern every British citizen. You can find out more about 'Phantom Parrot' and where to watch it here: https://phantomparrot.com/We'd love to hear your thoughts on this episode, and any guests you'd like us to have on our show. *Hadis ilminin büyük imamlarından, A'meş lakabıyla meşhur Süleyman b. Mihran (rahimehullah) hazretleri tabiîn tabakasının mümtaz simalarındandı. Misafirperverlik gibi güzel hasletlerde numune-i imtisal, fıkhî meseleleri çözmede müşkilküşâ bir fakih ve Efendimiz'in (aleyhi ekmelü't-tehâyâ) lâl ü güher sözlerini sonraki nesillere ulaştıran en güvenilir ravilerden biriydi. Hayatı bütünüyle amel-i salihle geçen, aynı zamanda hiçbir tûl-i emeli de olmayan A'meş hazretleri, bütün faziletleriyle beraber, kendisini bir hiç olarak görürdü. İmam Rabbani hazretlerinin, “Hakikat-i Ahmediye'yi (aleyhissalatu vesselam) arızasız temsil eden Ebu Hanife'dir” dediği İmam-ı Azam bu Nehaî ekolünde, medresesinde, mektebinde yetişmiş. *Esved b. Yezîd hazretleri bütün hayatını dini omuzunda taşımakla ve halis kullukla geçirmiş. Her zaman dini hecelemiş, hep dinle gecelemiş, başka hiçbir şey düşünmemiş.

In this interview, Shaykh Burhanuddin talks about the main goals, principles, and practices of the Sufi path, his relationship with his master, what Sufi meditation retreats look like, and the importance of consistent spiritual practice. He also talks about some of the main challenges present in the spiritual path and gives advice on how to overcome them. Shaykh Burhanuddin is a contemporary mystic of ancient tradition, called onto the Sufi path at a young age. In his teaching, Shaykh Burhanuddin combines methods from his Sufi Tradition with contemporary knowledge of psychology. He started the practice at 10 with Yoga, and between the ages of 14-18 practiced meditation under the guidance of the 16th Karmapa Rangjung Rigpe Dorje, within the Karma Kagyu lineage of Tibetan Buddhism. At 18, Shaykh Burhanuddin met with the grandmaster of the Naqshbandi Sufi Order, one of the most ancient and authoritative of the many existing Sufi Orders, Mawlana Shaykh Nazim al Haqqani ar Rabbani, and went through the classic dervish training under the direct guidance of the Master. He received a direct transmission of the Naqshbandi Sufi Order. Shaykh Burhanuddin is the author of three books, a musician and the founder of the Dervish Orchestra.
