Episode 14 of Jagged Jungle is here, a golden-hour journey through melodic house, tropical grooves, afro rhythms and tribal edits, curated by Jayli. This week opens with the beautiful Lost Frequencies & Nathan Nicholson – So Much Beauty Around Us, before moving into sun-soaked sax energy from York – On The Beach, tropical heat from Palm Monkey & Russi, and a very special Jayli Jungle Edit of Follow Your Sun. Our Treasure Track this week goes back to one of Purple Disco Machine's early records, My House on Off Recordings, before we move into Dean Mickoski – La Trompeta on Stealth Records. For our New Wave Artist, we spotlight Chapter & Verse with Hands Up on Myth of NYX — bringing big club energy and a proper Jagged Jungle connection after playing with us last year. The second half takes us deeper into the jungle with music from Tom Enzy, Astrality & FLORES, Peppe Citarella & Yas Cepeda, SHADU, DJ Hermes, Fly, OR3X, Solander, and a beautiful closing track from Jerro & Benjamin Roustaing – Rush on Thrive Music. What would it look like if a home became a place where Heaven actually stayed? In this first message of our new series, My Church, My House, Pastor Jim Raley unpacks exactly what that looks like, what it costs, and what it produces. Through the story of a man named Obed-Edom, a man nobody else wanted the assignment, we see what happens when a household chooses to honor the presence of God. The blessing that followed was undeniable, comprehensive, and generational. You are not just a church attender. You are the church. And wherever you go, the church goes with you. That means your living room can become a sanctuary. Your dinner table can become an altar. Your home can become a place where Heaven touches earth. Listen. Share it. Welcome back to As For Me and My House! We're back for another season, and while there will be more of what you know and expect, we're also pressing record at a very different stage of life than any of our previous seasons. We've taken an intentional break over the past almost-year, we now have 5 children, and the Lord has been continuing to prune us, teach us, and lead us.We're in such a season of grace and blessing and overflow - which seems silly since we've had 5 children in the last 6 years - but it really feels like the Lord is leading us to start recording again to share what we've been learning and discerning, and we want to share what we've been learning in our home, in case any of it's applicable to your home. Thanks for joining us, we can't wait for you to hear what's coming up over the coming weeks and months! In This Episode:0:00 Intro2:48 A new lens for the podcast5:18 Denomination9:27 Ministry shift14:11 Big things comingResources:AFM+MH on Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/asformeandmyhousepodcast/Milena's Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/milenaciciotti/Subscribe on Youtube: https://www.youtube.com/@asformeandmyhousepodcast

Nancy went to a networking event and had to do icebreakers to get to know people. Usually they are boring, but this one was fun! She and her table had to make a playlist of songs that described them. Explore the concept of 'praying without ceasing' as explained through 1 Thessalonians 5:17: "Pray without ceasing.” This insightful video delves into the idea of regular, heartfelt prayer and how it connects us to a divine 'live stream' from heaven. Discover the joy and power of prayer as more than a duty, but a delightful interaction with God's presence, supported by biblical references and historical anecdotes. God Himself is the initiator of prayer. Prayer begins in God and we are all just joining in the Live Stream of prayer that Heaven is already making available. All we have to do is to join it and be carried along with the Stream of Prayer that is flowing from Him. ‘Without ceasing' means REGULARLY, without any unnecessary gaps, as often as required. The word 'adialeiptos' (translated ‘without ceasing') was used to describe a tickling cough. A tickling cough is not one where you cough non-stop. It means that you cough without long gaps between coughs! *I. Let's move from RARE PRAYER to REGULAR PRAYER. Regular prayer doesn't mean that we are praying 24/7, but that we are in a constant flow of prayer. We are constantly accessing Heaven's Live Stream of prayer, which catches us up into God's Presence to walk with Him. “Praying at ALL TIMES (in every opportunity) with all kinds of prayer IN the SPIRIT (Ephesians 6:18). This is the key to joining Heaven's Live Stream of Prayer. We struggle to join it with our head! Our head is too limited. That's why we have the Holy Spirit living within our spirits, who makes us able to join that Live Stream. He helps us to tune into the bandwidth of Heaven and join in with what's flowing from God's Throne. We need to PRAY in the SPIRIT. Praying in tongues is one way we can pray in the Spirit, and join Heaven's Live Stream, but it is not the only way. Praying in the Spirit is praying from the Spirit within us, depending on the Spirit to lead and empower us in prayer. It is a way in which we pray, and a place from which we pray, more than it is a kind of prayer. *II. Let's move from HEAD to HEART. We will never be able to pray without ceasing, if we pray only from our HEAD. We have to go from prayer that only comes out of our HEADS to praying from our HEARTS, prayer in which we bring up from the core of our being, expressing God's life & heart of God within us. It's praying from our HEART. Martin Luther: “Prayer is climbing up into the heart of God.” God invites us to pray from His heart - praying from His lap, from His Father heart. We hear His heartbeat, as we put our head to His heart, like the beloved disciple (John) at the Last Supper, who laid his head on Jesus' chest (John 13:23). We can hear His heartbeat and pray His heart. The Holy Spirit will give us the right word to return to the Father in prayer. Prayer is joining God's Live Stream, so what pours out of Heaven through His Word & Spirit enters into us, and through prayer we offer it back to Him in Heaven. Then He responds in the Earth with answers: “So shall My Word be that goes forth from My mouth; it shall not return to Me void, but it shall accomplish what I please, and prosper in the thing for which I sent it” (Isaiah 54:11). Man was never designed to live only from his HEAD. Man was designed to live from his HEART, from the core of his being. And so, let us PRAY from there. *III. Let's move from DUTY to DELIGHT. God wants us to take us from the DUTY of prayer to the DELIGHT of prayer. For many people, prayer is a CHORE, or worse a BORE, when it is so much MORE! Prayer is a DELIGHT. In Matthew 21:13, Jesus quoted from Isaiah 56:7: “I will make them JOYFUL in My House of PRAYER.” There is JOY in the House of PRAYER. Have we found joy in prayer? If not, let's get into Prayer's Live Stream. God's Live Stream will carry you on and carry you up! Psalm 34:5: “They looked to Him (in prayer) and their faces were light (radiant with joy).” When we look to God in prayer, rather than looking to ourselves and our own resources, we go beyond the DUTY and the DISCIPLINE of prayer, and get caught up in the DELIGHT (joy) of prayer. 1Thess 5:17 is the meat in the sandwich: “pray without ceasing.” 1Thess 5:16 & 18 are the bread. These 3 verses are a triptych of simple exhortations: “(1) REJOICE always, (2) PRAY without ceasing, (3) in everything GIVE THANKS” (1Thess 5:16-18). God doesn't want us in the DRUDGERY of prayer! He wants us to discover the DELIGHT of prayer. So, let us join Heaven's Live Stream of Prayer that God has made available to us.

Some homes are built to shelter us. Others are built to hide what we can't bear to face. In this week's chilling installment, host Steve Taylor invites you to step across the threshold of a house where every wall has a secret — and every secret has a body. Behind the façade of ordinary suburbia lies a legacy of obsession, guilt, and something far older and darker than madness itself. From the haunted imagination of Quincy Lee, “The Children in My House's Walls” unearths the blueprints of inherited evil — the kind that can't be demolished, only passed down. "The Children in My House's Walls" by Quincy Lee – Sadie always thought her father was a quiet, kind man — a devoted architect who loved her more than anything in the world. But when police uncover human remains sealed behind the walls of their family home, her entire childhood is thrown into question. Through harrowing memories and an unflinching confession, Sadie begins to piece together the truth about the disappearances that haunted her neighborhood — and the dark inheritance running through her bloodline. Clare Balding's In Town! To kick off the new series, Clare is walking in Rutland with comedian Mark Steel. A beloved mentor and award-winning author of a children's book on family separation, Belinda championed farmworkers' needs during the pandemic and led her community's healing after a mass shooting. From the southern border to the White House, her advocacy has touched countless lives and inspires change rooted in our collective humanity. A passionate educator, Dr. Hernandez-Arriaga teaches at the University of San Francisco, inspiring the next generation of counselors and activists. At ALAS, She has built groundbreaking partnerships with USF and Stanford to lead pioneering research on the power of culturally responsive mental health care.
