Today my guest is a friend of mine and someone I admire so much, Demetra Presley! Demetra is someone I have admired for years because I have seen the way she has impacted countless student's lives. She is the Executive Director and Founder of Go With The Flow which is a 501c3 nonprofit organization out of Arizona. Go With The Flow was created in 2017 after Demetra learned  about a teacher who started to keep bags filled with menstrual hygiene products in her classroom because she was frequently approached by her students requesting period products. After reaching out to local parents and school staff, Demetra's concerns were confirmed: school budget restrictions did not allot for an adequate supply of menstrual hygiene products to students, and the limited supply that was available was often provided at the expense of school staff. It was then that Go With The Flow was born. Demetra has now helped countless students and her nonprofit continues to grow by leaps and bounds. This episode is with a true Glass Ceiling Breaker, Pam Royle.Pam is all about reinvention. Beginning as a high school teacher in the early 60s, she moved into radio as a DJ, followed by a job in television as an on air talent in Chicago. In the 80s, she founded an at-home care agency which grew to nine branch offices and employed over 500 caregivers and staff. Pam cofounded a 100 voice women's competing chorus and sang in international competitions in a barbershop quartet. At 62 years old, Pam reinvented herself again when she became a road warrior and traveled all around the country training tens of thousands of women in management and communication skills on the National women's conference. She has served on numerous boards, coached a number of CEOs, and has served as an advisor to a variety of nonprofit organizations. She's an author as well as the creator of an audio series on life balance. At the age of 82, she's currently working for an immigration law center  that is helping immigrants on their path to citizenship.This episode has a special place in my heart because I wouldn't be who I am without this extraordinary woman.  Sit back and enjoy-- this episode is about revering those who broke the glass ceiling for all of us.
