The Trail Running Women podcast is an incredible source of inspiration and motivation for any trail runner, whether you're a seasoned ultra-runner or just starting out. Hosted by Hilary Spires, this podcast features interviews with amazing guests who share their experiences and stories in the world of trail running. It's the perfect companion for solo long runs or road trips, and Hilary's warm and relatable style makes it feel like you have a running buddy with you.

One of the best aspects of The Trail Running Women podcast is the diverse set of voices that are highlighted. Hilary does an incredible job of featuring women from all walks of life, giving them a platform to share their stories. Whether it's discussing the challenges they've faced or sharing funny anecdotes, these conversations are both entertaining and inspiring. The podcast also covers topics not often talked about in other running media, such as running during pregnancy, body image issues, and women-specific nutrition and training. It provides a much-needed space for these important discussions.

Another great aspect is Hilary's knowledge and expertise in trail running. She is incredibly knowledgeable about the sport and shares valuable tips and tricks throughout each episode. Whether it's advice on fueling your body or insights into integrating intense endurance pursuits with other aspects of life, there is always something new to learn from this podcast.

One potential downside to the podcast that some listeners have noted is the repetitive use of filler words like "like." While this may not bother everyone, it can be distracting for those who notice it. However, this feedback has been given constructively as a means to help improve the podcast rather than as a criticism.

Overall, The Trail Running Women podcast is a must-listen for anyone who loves running, adventuring outdoors, or simply seeks inspiration in their daily lives. Hilary Spires does an amazing job of curating engaging content that appeals to both experienced runners and beginners alike. This podcast will leave you feeling motivated, entertained, and ready to tackle the trails.

I wasn't sure I'd make it to the start line with my second son just under 9 months old, but my whole family came together to support and it ended up the most epic 29 hours and 29 minutes, finishing 4th female overall. This recap is about the ups and downs of training with a baby and a 5 year old, the wrenches life throws at you, and ultimately the celebration of getting to spend a full day in the forest of Hawaii. My littlest was carried up mountains and pushed in the stroller, and the big one ran along side me and rode his bike. My parents and Baker were the best crew ever, and I don't have enough space to talk about how AMAZING the HURT100 team is. The volunteers, the aid stations, the race director, and the whole vibe is the absolute best. THANK YOU!!  @HURT100 @trailrunningwomenpod @hilsport55

Kelsie is an accomplished runner, having run Burning River 50 mile, the Boston Marathon, Cleveland Marathon where she BQ'd, and recently pacing a friend through his 100mile race by running the back 50 miles with him. She opens up about her struggles with the post race blues getting so bad they have become real depression. We chat about why this might happen and possible solutions.  "Running has always made me feel grounded, focused, dedicated. It also provides a type of release, a time to decompress and unwind, a time to feel my emotions and work through what I was bottling up inside. I think it's why I continued running into my adult years. Recently in the last couple years post- race I fall into these deep depressive, borderline major depressive states for about a week after. Talking to others who suffer from the same dark thoughts and feelings have helped me learn more about how common it is among other runners and I hope to be able to help others know they are not alone." - Kelsie More from me @hilsport55  Find Kelsie @kelskline New podcast instagram @trailrunningwomenpod Discount code TRW15 for 15% off at www.janji.com Go to www.athleticgreens.com/TRWP to get 5 FREE travel packs and one year supply of Vitamin D!  Get free shipping on any order from Goodr at goodr.com code TRW
