It's a nonstop ride of sports and local buzz! Dodgers roar to a 2-0 series lead behind Yamamoto's complete games, while Derek Jeter slams managers for yanking pitchers too soon. Giants rookie QB heads to Denver with a tough pass-rush waiting, and early Sunday spreads have bettors buzzing. Aaron Rodgers and Joe Flacco prep for a vintage QB showdown, the Titans implode with Cam Ward calling them “ass,” and casino talks hit the Citi Field neighborhood. Nick Mangold reaches out for a kidney, and in a lighter twist, the hour wraps with Long Island strip mall dreams and Netflix debates over *Monster: The Ed Gein Story*.
It's a whirlwind sports hour! Yamamoto dazzles with a complete game, while Boomer moans about the Rangers' goal drought. Dodgers crush the Brewers 2-0, sparking a David vs. Goliath playoff debate, and whispers of a baseball salary cap heat up. Nick Mangold takes to social media for a kidney, Cam Heyward dubs Rodgers vs. Flacco the “Icy Hot Bowl,” and Jerry Jones teases a deal with no plan. Over in New York, the Mets hire Kai Correa as bench coach — and Gio predicts he'll be managing sooner than Mendoza expects.
Ryan and Dustin break down NFL Week 6 action. Cowboys-Panthers shootout steals the show. Falcons shock Bills. Jets' offense hits rock bottom. Coaches on thin ice. Plus, the guys share their favorite #74s and rally support for Nick Mangold's kidney transplant appeal. No Credentials Required is part of Belly Up Sports Media Network. BT and Sal light up the airwaves with three intense, random questions that range from the bizarre to the life-changing. The burning questions on the table: Have you ever hit a deer or another large animal on the road? Do you believe in ghosts? And, most seriously, following Nick Mangold's appeal, would you consider being a living organ donor? The debate includes scary highway tales, the "haunted" Pfister Hotel, and a deep, fiery discussion about the difficult decisions of donation.
BT & Sal bring the heat in this fiery debate, slamming the Mets' confusing coaching titles, especially the new "Director of Major League Hitting," and questioning the value of two hitting gurus telling elite players like Juan Soto what to do. They dive into whether the "ultra-analytical" hiring of Kai Correa as bench coach is a "warning shot" for manager Carlos Mendoza. The talk shifts to the Yankees, where they preview Brian Cashman's upcoming press conference, demanding he stop defending Volpe and address the team's failing player development. Plus, the hosts vent about the Rangers' embarrassing three-game, zero-goal start at home and the ridiculousness of the Gold Glove nominations (Lindor's snub!). Finally, the segment ends with Three Random Questions: Ever hit a deer (or other big animal) on the road?

BT and former Jets great Nick Mangold agreed on the major issue plaguing the team: a fundamental lack of leadership and accountability. Mangold explained that the constant player turnover and absence of long-tenured veterans has prevented the team from building a winning culture. He praised new coach Aaron Glenn for emphasizing that the players themselves must drive the team's success, a stark contrast to previous regimes. BT echoed the sentiment, highlighting the team's chronic penalty problem as a clear symptom of their lack of attention to detail and discipline.

The New York Jets were unable to get one of the top tackles in the first round of the 2023 NFL Draft. In the second round, the team was able to select one of the top interior lineman prospects in this year's class, Joe Tippmann, a center from Wisconsin. Tippmann comes to the Jets with some excellent physical tools which makes his upside high. Time will tell whether he is the next great Jets center like Kevin Mawae or Nick Mangold, but there is plenty to get excited about.Follow & Subscribe on all Podcast platforms…
