KJ Carson fills in for Arcand tonight to get hyped about this Sunday's matchup between the Patriots and Buccaneers specifically for Drake Maye. With the game being nationally televised, what would a win over Baker Mayfield and the Bucs do for how the NFL looks at the Pats' QB? Then, everyone is excited for success to be back in Foxborough and even with a loss that return won't take a drastic hit. And, the Celtics looked better in their win last night over the Wizards, but for the lineup change that Joe Mazzulla may make, there will always be a drastic flaw.
Topics discussed: Patriots QB Drake Maye admits a lot of the sacks he takes are his fault // Examining inconsistencies in reporting on Pats-Titans deadline day talks // Our main takeaways from the Celtics dominant win against the Wizards // Patriots insider Tom E. Mego gets into the weeds of why taking so many three pointers isn't the main issue for the Celtics; rather its the personnel that did not carry over from the last two seasons.
An early preview of the Patriots' toughest test in a few weeks when they go to Tampa. Jon Lyons explains to Mego why he believes the Bucs are overrated and New England can escape with a win. Then, Arcand Fire gets into Jayden Daniels' tough injury, Kyler Murray's potential exit from Arizona, and Tom Brady admitting he's cloned his dog. And, reacting to a much-needed Celtics blowout win over the Wizards.
Drake Maye has been on an incredible roll which the numbers clearly support, but there's one stat that Mego and Lyons agree is under more of a microscope. Why passer rating should take a back seat to turnovers? Then, hoop head Mego gets into the Celtics and the roster construction is more at fault for their recent losses instead of Joe Mazzulla's three-point philosophy. And, some disagreement among radio hosts in this building in regards to Derrick White's sluggish start.

The Celtics blew the doors off of the Wizards 136-107 behind monster performances from JB and Minott! JB led the way with 35pts 5reb and 5ast and started this game red hot scoring on 16 of the teams first 20pts and never seemed to slow down! Minott scored a career high 21pts tonight and was a menace defensively in his most aggressive game of the year. Pritchard scored 16 of his 18 points during their huge 2nd quarter run and Queta added a beautiful 15pt 12reb 5ast game. This is by far the best a big has played for the Celtics all season long. It was certainly an ugly first quarter but the Celtics cleaned up all of their mistakes and played a near flawless 3 quarters after it.
