V soboto, 8. novembra, bo v Športni dvorani Nazarje Koncert opernih biserov, na katerem bosta sopranistka Mojca Bitenc Križaj in baritonist Domen Križaj ob Simfoničnem orkestru Cantabile, Mešanem pevskem zboru Gorenje, Mešanem pevskem zboru Adoramus ter solopevcih Glasbene šole Nazarje izvedla najlepše arije in duete različnih mojstrov opere in operete.

V Cukrarni se začenja Festival Indigo, ki letos praznuje desetletnico. Tridnevni program ponuja pogovore, predavanja in glasbene nastope s področij sodobne umetnosti, oblikovanja, filozofije, literature in glasbe. Naslovili so ga Dark mode oz. temni način, ob tem pa pojasnjujejo, da "ta fraza ne označuje več zgolj vizualne nastavitve uporabniškega vmesnika, ampak postaja metafora za stanje našega duha in duha časa''. V Novi Gorici in Gorici pa se odvija drugi dan čezmejnega filmskega festivala Poklon viziji, ki je tokrat za osrednjo temo izbral umetno inteligenco v kulturi. V Svetu kulture še o knjižnih novostih založbe Miš in devetem koncertu festivala Kogojevi dnevi, ki je bil hkrati prvi koncert nove abonmajske sezone Kulturnega doma Nova Gorica. Nastopila sta Simfonični orkester Cantabile in klavirski solist Ivan Skrt.

Stanislava Škofijske klasične gimnazije v Ljubljani. V Logatcu se bo začel festival Cantabile, kaj vse prinaša, bomo slišali v pogovoru, pri sosedih v Benetkah pa smo si ogledali premiero opere Pogovori karmeličank Francisa Poulenca.

V baziliki sv. Petra v Vatikanu se bo odprlo jubilejno sveto leto 2025. Tega bomo zaznamovali tudi slovenski kristjani. V začetku decembra so na Brezjah že pripravili simpozij o svetem letu, v ponedeljek, 23. decembra, pa bo Simfonični orkester Cantabile na božičnem koncertu v Cankarjevem domu izvedel orkestrsko priredbo uradne jubilejne himne in s tem vse slovesno povabil k praznovanju. Vabljeni k poslušanju.

Simfonični orkester Cantabile nadaljuje tradicijo navdihujočih božičnih koncertov v Gallusovi dvorani Cankarjevega doma v Ljubljani. Letošnji koncert bo jubilejni, že deseti po vrsti. V ponedeljek, 23. decembra, ob 19.30, bo v Cankarjevem domu na odru v doživetju združil prek 150 glasbenikov. Koncert nam je predstavil maestro Marjan Grdadolnik.

V oddaji smo povabili na Gala koncert najlepših opernih melodij z Zborom sv. Nikolaja Litija, Zborom Adoramus Logatec, Simfoničnim orkestrom Cantabile in solisti Mojco Bitenc Križaj, Domnom Križajem in Žigo Laknerjem. Koncerta bosta pravzaprav dva, prvi v nedeljo, 13. oktobra ob 19. uri, v športni dvorani Logatec, drugi pa v nedeljo, 20. oktobra ob 19. uri, v športni dvorani Gimnazije Litija.

Bili smo tudi na beneški predstavi Ariadne na Naksosu Richarda Straussa.Ob številnih poletnih festivalih, ki potekajo v prestolnici, poletje z glasbo barvajo tudi manjši festivali v lokalnih okoljih. Eden takih je tudi festival Cantabile iz Logatca. V Benetkah so prejšnji petek, pred poletnimi počitnicami, uprizorili sedmo letošnjo operno premiero – Ariadno na Naksosu Richarda Straussa.

2022 marks the bicentenary of César Franck, undoubtedly one of the most prolific composers in 19th century France. Of German ancestry, born in Liège, Belgium, he made his career in Paris. He left a substantial oeuvre of orchestral, choral and chamber music as well as pieces for piano and organ. He was one of the first musicians to take up the harmonic developments of Richard Wagner, and transformed them into his own unique musical language which in turn shaped the further development of French music. Among his most beautiful and poetic works are two sets of pieces written for the organ: Trois piéces and Trois chorals. The first set was written for the inauguration of the organ in the Palais du Trocadéro, built for the Exposition Universelle (or World's Fair) of 1878.
