Cet enseignement correspond aux méthodes d'ostéopathie d'Andrew Still.

In this episode, Dr. Jay and Brad talk with their good friend, Dr. Don Reno which is consider a national Leader in Chiropratic. Dr. Reno enrolled in Chiropractic college after becoming healthier through his own chiropractor's directives, which made him feel comfortable by giving him choices in his care. "I knew that I wanted to help people in a similar fashion". Don figured that he couldn't be the only person that had an immune system improvement through chiropractic care so he enrolled in school to help others in this manner. Dr. Reno attended Life University in Marietta, Georgia and found that the education process was a great challenge and an experience that is very special to him. The classes in anatomy and physiology were challenging and they gave him an understanding of how our bodies work. Dr. Ron Kirk was especially inspiring to Dr. Reno because he related his practical experiences to us and combined them with the sciences for a great teaching environment. Dr. Reno is married to my wife Susan since June 1988. He and his wife's leisure time is often spent with our friends and enjoy outdoor activities that include boating and hiking and cooking, especially in a healthy manner. Good food does not have to be a detriment to our health. Dr. Reno enjoys reading, politics, history and is currently serving as Chairman of the Board for the Michigan Association of Chiropractors (MAC).
“An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure.” For years, the U.S. healthcare system has had this adage backwards. Every industry is more profitable with repeat customers, after all. The complicated insurance rigamarole and the surprise costs of a seemingly simple procedure add up and take their toll. If that wasn't enough, patients commonly complain of brief, impersonal, and frustrating experiences with doctors. The demand to improve healthcare is nothing new. However, after two years of overwhelmed and understaffed hospitals, patients and doctors alike are taking an active role in finding solutions. In this episode, we speak with Dr. Carly Hudson for a fresh perspective on our wellbeing. Dr. Hudson is a very busy and multi-talented chiropractor who advocates for self-care and personal maintenance practices on her own podcast, Healing Ground Movement. Spurred towards her career by a life-threatening illness at a young age, Dr. Hudson has cultivated a nuanced perspective on how we can take control of our own health, and discusses the unity needed within the medical industry. Topics covered: Getting the best results from healthcare providers as they currently exist by using particular language with doctors and understanding the structure of the system The benefits of lifestyle fixes vs “symptom whack-a-mole” Dr. Hudson discusses her personal experience with ongoing medical care and the lessons she carries forward into her work Finding compatible doctors who trust both their colleagues and the intuition of their patients What is our responsibility to ourselves? Where is the line between self-care and medical intervention? Dr. Kathleen Perry is a chiropractor who practices functional nutrition and acupuncture. My mother and her sister were RNs so I grew up in a health care environment. But I soon began to realize that the model of treating disease didn't make sense to me. When I was a junior in undergraduate school a friend who was also an RN introduced me to her chiropractor. That was the beginning of my journey to where I am today and where I am heading. After 25 years in the field I have created my own model which explains what is required to obtain TRUE health and well-being.
