A VERA című filmet a Partizán őszi NEVEM: SENKI filmklubján vetítették, erről beszélgetett Babos Anna és Petri-Lukács Simon, a Partizán Filmklub két házigazdája.Támogasd te is a Partizán munkáját!https://cause.lundadonate.org/partizan/supportPéntek Reggel, a Partizán hírháttérpodcastja: https://pentekreggel.huA Partizán Podcast oldalait itt találod: YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/@PartizanPodcastFacebook: https://www.facebook.com/partizanpodcast/A Partizán videóit itt tudod megnézni:https://www.youtube.com/c/@PartizanmediaTovábbi támogatási lehetőségekről bővebben: https://www.partizanmedia.hu/tamogatas

Direi proprio di no e neanche voi.

Howdy! Continuing our journey into Shaw Brothers films and Spaghetti Westerns, Patsy the Angry Nerd and I discuss the 4th Venom Mob film, Life Gamble from 1978, and the amazing team up of the legendary Lee Van Cleef with Spaghetti Western icon Giuliano Gemma in Day of Anger from 1967. Life Gamble is a complicated Kung-Fu film about a stolen jade artifact and all the people vying for it, including a ruthless gambler, thieves, con artists, an iron-fisted villain and a badass Kung-Fu warrior turned peaceful blacksmith. This film is very different in tone and complexity than the other Shaw films we've covered so far, so check it out! Day of Anger is the teaming of two of Spaghetti Westerns' greatest actors. Lee Van Cleef is an aging gunslinger who takes Giuliano Gemma under his wing and transforms him from a down and out peon to a master gunslinger himself who takes control of his destiny! The acting and cinematography in this one make it a film not to be missed! Patsy the Angry Nerd and his podcasts can be found at throwdownthursdaypodcast.com.
(Greetings friends!) We've got a fun episode for you, and it's the last episode of 2020! Re-Gor and Patsy the Angry Nerd take the year out with a bang as they cover the Shaw Brothers film, Masked Avengers from 1981 and the spaghetti western, The Return of Ringo from 1965! In the first feature, a gang of masked evildoers terrorize the countryside and it's up to a band of heroes to take them down! The second is the sequel to “A Pistol for Ringo” and is a very different and much darker tale than the first one! As we examine the Masked Avengers, we delve a little deeper into Phillip Kwok's career, and discuss what are referred to as the 2nd Tier Venoms – they were usually actors who played a supporting Villain with Lu Feng, and appeared in many of the Venom Mob movies. The 2nd Tier Venoms who appear in Masked Avengers are as follows: Chu Ko – who played Liang Yung here. Chin Siu-Ho – who played Chang Chung (as Hsiao Hau Chien) here. Wang Li – who played Fong Su Kwong here. We will discuss more 2nd Tier Venoms as they show up in future films. Patsy the Angry Nerd and his podcasts can be found at throwdownthursdaypodcast.com.
