Forgive the Sinner2 Corinthians 2:5-115 But if any have caused grief, he hath not grieved me, but in part: that I may not overcharge you all.6 Sufficient to such a man is this punishment, which was inflicted of many.7 So that contrariwise ye ought rather to forgive him, and comfort him, lest perhaps such a one should be swallowed up with overmuch sorrow.8 Wherefore I beseech you that ye would confirm your love toward him.9 For to this end also did I write, that I might know the proof of you, whether ye be obedient in all things.10 To whom ye forgive any thing, I forgive also: for if I forgave any thing, to whom I forgave it, for your sakes forgave I it in the person of Christ;11 Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.
Joshua BoydWe know we should pay attention when the Holy Spirit, through the writers of the Scriptures, tells us to not be ignorant. Multiple times throughout the New Testament especially, we are warned to know something of importance: 2 Peter 3:8 - But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.Romans 11:25 - For I would not, brethren, that ye should be ignorant of this mystery, lest ye should be wise in your own conceits;1 Corinthians 12:1 - Now concerning spiritual gifts, brethren, I would not have you ignorant. Finally, our context verse today in light of the series we are on “Be Not Deceived” - 2 Corinthians 2:11 Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices. We should not be ignorant of how the enemy works. If we are lacking knowledge, then it is time to learn. In fact, the Lord commands us to study to show ourselves, that includes knowing how the enemy works so that we can use our God-given authority against him in the right place at the right time.
Lest Satan should get an advantage of us- for we are not ignorant of his devices. ---For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ.--And no marvel- for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light.--Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness- whose end shall be according to their works.
Scripture of observation 2 Corinthians 2:1-11 (CWSB)1 But I determined this with myself, that I would not come again to you in heaviness.2 For if I make you sorry, who -- is he then that maketh me glad, but the same which is made sorry by me?3 And I wrote this same unto you, lest, when I came, I should have sorrow from them of whom I ought to rejoice; having confidence in you all, that my joy is the joy of you all.4 For out of much affliction and anguish of heart I wrote unto you with many tears; not that ye should be grieved, but that ye might know the love which I have more abundantly unto you.Forgiveness for a Penitent Man5 But if any have caused grief, he hath not grieved me, but in part: that I may not overcharge you all.6 Sufficient to such a man is this punishment, which was inflicted of many.7 So that contrariwise ye ought rather to forgive him, and comfort him, lest perhaps such a one should be swallowed up with overmuch sorrow.8 Wherefore I beseech you that ye would confirm your love toward him.9 For to this end also did I write, that I might know the proof of you, whether ye be obedient in all things.10 -- To whom ye forgive any thing, I forgive also: for if I forgave any thing, -- to whom I forgave it, for your sakes forgave I it in the person of Christ;11 Lest -- Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.Introduction:forgiveness To intentionally cease to feel resentment towards someone who wronged you, to pardon. Also: ReconciliationWe sometimes get into situations and we need to forgive somebody for an injury that we may have endured. but we don't always forgive. We sometimes need to be forgiven and we don't always receive the forgiveness that we're looking for.We see Paul is encouraging God‘s church in Corinth to forgive the one that has offended him and the congregation.Paul didn't want the punishment of Sin to be an opportunity for the Devil.Paul wants to show we should be able to find forgiveness and restoration in the church.Matthew 18:21-22 (CWSB)Forgiving Others21 Then came Peter to him, and said, Lord, how oft shall my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? till seven times?22 Jesus saith unto him, I say not unto thee, Until seven times: but, Until seventy times seven.Power To Change Ministry Rev. 1:12 For our rejoicing is this, the testimony of our conscience, that in simplicity and godly sincerity, not with fleshly wisdom, but by the grace of God, we have had our conversation in the world, and more abundantly to you-ward. 1:13 For we write none other things unto you, than what ye read or acknowledge; and I trust ye shall acknowledge even to the end; 1:14 As also ye have acknowledged us in part, that we are your rejoicing, even as ye also are our's in the day of the Lord Jesus. 1:15 And in this confidence I was minded to come unto you before, that ye might have a second benefit; 1:16 And to pass by you into Macedonia, and to come again out of Macedonia unto you, and of you to be brought on my way toward Judaea. 1:17 When I therefore was thus minded, did I use lightness? or the things that I purpose, do I purpose according to the flesh, that with me there should be yea yea, and nay nay? 1:18 But as God is true, our word toward you was not yea and nay. 1:19 For the Son of God, Jesus Christ, who was preached among you by us, even by me and Silvanus and Timotheus, was not yea and nay, but in him was yea. 1:20 For all the promises of God in him are yea, and in him Amen, unto the glory of God by us. 1:21 Now he which stablisheth us with you in Christ, and hath anointed us, is God; 1:22 Who hath also sealed us, and given the earnest of the Spirit in our hearts. 1:23 Moreover I call God for a record upon my soul, that to spare you I came not as yet unto Corinth. 1:24 Not for that we have dominion over your faith, but are helpers of your joy: for by faith ye stand. 2:1 But I determined this with myself, that I would not come again to you in heaviness. 2:2 For if I make you sorry, who is he then that maketh me glad, but the same which is made sorry by me? 2:3 And I wrote this same unto you, lest, when I came, I should have sorrow from them of whom I ought to rejoice; having confidence in you all, that my joy is the joy of you all. 2:4 For out of much affliction and anguish of heart I wrote unto you with many tears; not that ye should be grieved, but that ye might know the love which I have more abundantly unto you. 2:5 But if any have caused grief, he hath not grieved me, but in part: that I may not overcharge you all. 2:6 Sufficient to such a man is this punishment, which was inflicted of many. 2:7 So that contrariwise ye ought rather to forgive him, and comfort him, lest perhaps such a one should be swallowed up with overmuch sorrow. 2:8 Wherefore I beseech you that ye would confirm your love toward him. 2:9 For to this end also did I write, that I might know the proof of you, whether ye be obedient in all things. 2:10 To whom ye forgive any thing, I forgive also: for if I forgave any thing, to whom I forgave it, for your sakes forgave I it in the person of Christ; 2:11 Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

Satan's Startegy 2 Cor 2:11 #Nightlight #RTTBROS 2 Corinthians 2:11 Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices. Satanic Strategies 1. Deception. Satan is the father of Lies he uses deception and whispers lies to us all the time. 2. Distraction. He trys to use the cares of this world to keep us focused on anything but God. 3. Division. We wrestle not against flesh and blood but against spiritual wickedness in high places, out real enemy is spiritual not physical. 4. Discouragement. He will do everything in his power to wear you down through prolonged attack. He will attack on multiple fronts all at the same time. Hoping to cause you to quit. Here is a devotion on understanding the strategies or devices of Satan in spiritual warfare written by Max Lucado: > "Satan's strategies are all aimed at trying to kill, steal, and destroy us. Satan hates us. He hates God. His hatred is manifested through his schemes to destroy God's people. Satan will use every tactic possible to get our focus off of the Lord and onto ourselves. One of Satan's greatest tools is deception." > "When we worship, we do what Satan did not do – we place God on the throne. When we pick up the sword of Scripture, we do what Jesus did in the wilderness. He responded to Satan by proclaiming truth. And since Satan has a severe allergy to truth, he left Jesus alone. Satan will not linger long where God is praised and prayers are offered." > "Don't fault the plunging economy or a raging dictator for your anxiety. They're simply tools in Satan's tool kit. We can't understand God's narrative without understanding Satan's strategy." > "God calls the devil by name and promises to defeat him. Be alert to the devil, and be assured his days are numbered." In today's episode, the guys discuss Satan tactics and traps for us as Christians. In order to defeat your enemy, you must know who your enemy is, and one of the biggest tactics of the devil is to make us forget that he is the enemy. The devil desires to be like God, and since he can't be he will imitate anything that God does. Therefore, things that Satan is associated with are made to seem good. For example, have you ever started to read the Bible or pray, but then you get distracted by your phone? Satan is at work to distract you with anything else so that you won't seek righteousness. He lures you with desires that pull you away from the glory of God. This is illustrated in C.S. Lewis' book, “Screwtape Letters,” which illustrates the devil's demons and how they are called to distract and dismantle Christians in any way possible. 2 Corinthians 2:11 states, “Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.” Satan has schemes, methods, and devices to make us fail, but we are not to give him a foothold. Being aware of his schemes makes it easier to resist the devil so he flees from us. One of his traps is luring us away from the simplicity that is found in Christ. Simplicity is found in the gospel, but the devil has been studying man for thousands of years and knows what will trip you up. Charles Taylor points out that man was created to worship, and the devil wants us to shift our worship of God to other lowercase gods including our nation, family, politics, sex, or sexuality. These powers of the age lure us into thinking that the things of this world are the answer when the only answer to our fallen world is the gospel. Next, the guys discuss the second trap of the devil, which is trying to look spiritual or godly. Our world and culture have this mindset that “It's all about me.” But when you become a Christian, you are to give up all your rights and make your life about Jesus and others. We all have gardens in our hearts where we need to pull out the weeds and plant flowers of righteousness in their place. For example, if you have the weed of pride, you can plant the flower of humility. Planting the opposite flower will help you get rid of those weeds, and this is made possible by having God's love in your heart. We focus so much on assuming a defensive posture, but when we go on the offensive instead and do righteousness, that will make the devil flee. When we are walking in the Spirit and on guard, we will more easily recognize his schemes. Thanks for listening! The Big Picture: How the World and Church are Being Deceived https://www.NewAgeToAmazingGrace.com In this talk Warren B. Smith explains 10 Spiritual Devices satan is using and he clarifies The Big Picture: How the World and Church are Being Deceived. Guest Speaker at Refuge Church Atascadero, CA . The following excerpt is from the booklet, The Big Picture: How the World and Church are Being Deceived - 10 Spiritual Devices. God's Plan vs. the Devil's Plan God has a plan—the plan of salvation—but the Devil has a plan too—a plan of destruction. So, again, we are not to be ignorant of this deceptive plan and its accompanying devices. We must try to understand the “big picture” so to speak. Why? Lest Satan get an advantage of us and we suddenly find ourselves on the path to Antichrist rather than the path to Jesus Christ. Jesus warned that prior to His return “false Christs” and “false prophets” would “arise” and “shew great signs and wonders” (Matthew 24:24). In that same verse, he said the deception would be so great that—“if it were possible”—even the “elect” would be deceived. So what is the “Big Picture? ”What is Satan's plan? The sub-heading read, “It just takes one misstep for even the most experienced hikers to go missing.” The article begins:It's called the “cascade effect”—a catchy name for the way one mistake leads to another, and a quick explanation for how a hiker who takes one step off of an established trail is one step closer to trouble.

Blessings2 Corinthians 2:1-17 reads as follows: But I determined this with myself, that I would not come again to you in heaviness.2 For if I make you sorry, who is he then that maketh me glad, but the same which is made sorry by me?3 And I wrote this same unto you, lest, when I came, I should have sorrow from them of whom I ought to rejoice; having confidence in you all, that my joy is the joy of you all.4 For out of much affliction and anguish of heart I wrote unto you with many tears; not that ye should be grieved, but that ye might know the love which I have more abundantly unto you.5 But if any have caused grief, he hath not grieved me, but in part: that I may not overcharge you all.6 Sufficient to such a man is this punishment, which was inflicted of many.7 So that contrariwise ye ought rather to forgive him, and comfort him, lest perhaps such a one should be swallowed up with overmuch sorrow.8 Wherefore I beseech you that ye would confirm your love toward him.9 For to this end also did I write, that I might know the proof of you, whether ye be obedient in all things.10 To whom ye forgive any thing, I forgive also: for if I forgave any thing, to whom I forgave it, for your sakes forgave I it in the person of Christ;11 Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.12 Furthermore, when I came to Troas to preach Christ's gospel, and a door was opened unto me of the Lord,13 I had no rest in my spirit, because I found not Titus my brother: but taking my leave of them, I went from thence into Macedonia.14 Now thanks be unto God, which always causeth us to triumph in Christ, and maketh manifest the savour of his knowledge by us in every place.15 For we are unto God a sweet savour of Christ, in them that are saved, and in them that perish:16 To the one we are the savour of death unto death; and to the other the savour of life unto life. And who is sufficient for these things?17 For we are not as many, which corrupt the word of God: but as of sincerity, but as of God, in the sight of God speak we in Christ.SisterGGlenda Coker @ www.glendacoker.org
1 Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ by the will of God, and Timothy our brother, unto the church of God which is at Corinth, with all the saints which are in all Achaia: 2 Grace be to you and peace from God our Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ. 3 Blessed be God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies, and the God of all comfort; 4 Who comforteth us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort them which are in any trouble, by the comfort wherewith we ourselves are comforted of God. 5 For as the sufferings of Christ abound in us, so our consolation also aboundeth by Christ. 6 And whether we be afflicted, it is for your consolation and salvation, which is effectual in the enduring of the same sufferings which we also suffer: or whether we be comforted, it is for your consolation and salvation. 7 And our hope of you is stedfast, knowing, that as ye are partakers of the sufferings, so shall ye be also of the consolation. 8 For we would not, brethren, have you ignorant of our trouble which came to us in Asia, that we were pressed out of measure, above strength, insomuch that we despaired even of life: 9 But we had the sentence of death in ourselves, that we should not trust in ourselves, but in God which raiseth the dead: 10 Who delivered us from so great a death, and doth deliver: in whom we trust that he will yet deliver us; 11 Ye also helping together by prayer for us, that for the gift bestowed upon us by the means of many persons thanks may be given by many on our behalf. 12 For our rejoicing is this, the testimony of our conscience, that in simplicity and godly sincerity, not with fleshly wisdom, but by the grace of God, we have had our conversation in the world, and more abundantly to you-ward. 13 For we write none other things unto you, than what ye read or acknowledge; and I trust ye shall acknowledge even to the end; 14 As also ye have acknowledged us in part, that we are your rejoicing, even as ye also are our's in the day of the Lord Jesus. 15 And in this confidence I was minded to come unto you before, that ye might have a second benefit; 16 And to pass by you into Macedonia, and to come again out of Macedonia unto you, and of you to be brought on my way toward Judaea. 17 When I therefore was thus minded, did I use lightness? or the things that I purpose, do I purpose according to the flesh, that with me there should be yea yea, and nay nay? 18 But as God is true, our word toward you was not yea and nay. 19 For the Son of God, Jesus Christ, who was preached among you by us, even by me and Silvanus and Timotheus, was not yea and nay, but in him was yea. 20 For all the promises of God in him are yea, and in him Amen, unto the glory of God by us. 21 Now he which stablisheth us with you in Christ, and hath anointed us, is God; 22 Who hath also sealed us, and given the earnest of the Spirit in our hearts. 23 Moreover I call God for a record upon my soul, that to spare you I came not as yet unto Corinth. 24 Not for that we have dominion over your faith, but are helpers of your joy: for by faith ye stand. 1 But I determined this with myself, that I would not come again to you in heaviness. 2 For if I make you sorry, who is he then that maketh me glad, but the same which is made sorry by me? 3 And I wrote this same unto you, lest, when I came, I should have sorrow from them of whom I ought to rejoice; having confidence in you all, that my joy is the joy of you all. 4 For out of much affliction and anguish of heart I wrote unto you with many tears; not that ye should be grieved, but that ye might know the love which I have more abundantly unto you. 5 But if any have caused grief, he hath not grieved me, but in part: that I may not overcharge you all. 6 Sufficient to such a man is this punishment, which was inflicted of many. 7 So that contrariwise ye ought rather to forgive him, and comfort him, lest perhaps such a one should be swallowed up with overmuch sorrow. 8 Wherefore I beseech you that ye would confirm your love toward him. 9 For to this end also did I write, that I might know the proof of you, whether ye be obedient in all things. 10 To whom ye forgive any thing, I forgive also: for if I forgave any thing, to whom I forgave it, for your sakes forgave I it in the person of Christ; 11 Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices. 12 Furthermore, when I came to Troas to preach Christ's gospel, and a door was opened unto me of the Lord, 13 I had no rest in my spirit, because I found not Titus my brother: but taking my leave of them, I went from thence into Macedonia. 14 Now thanks be unto God, which always causeth us to triumph in Christ, and maketh manifest the savour of his knowledge by us in every place. 15 For we are unto God a sweet savour of Christ, in them that are saved, and in them that perish: 16 To the one we are the savour of death unto death; and to the other the savour of life unto life. 2 Corinthians 2:11 Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.2 Corinthians 10:3–6 For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war according to the flesh. 4 For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds, 5 casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ, 6 and being ready to punish all disobedience when your obedience is fulfilled.Matthew 6:31 Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed?” This morning rant is about the strategies that Satan uses. Today we will look at how he approach Eve in Genesis 3 and Abraham in the book of Jasher 23Points of attackHath God said? - Satan said to Eve to cause her to doubt God's wordArt thou silly and brutish, that thou goest to do this thing this day to your only son- Satan said to Abraham- to Abraham to cause him to doubt God's wordEve account and ResponseGenesis 3:1 Now the serpent was more cunning than any beast of the field which the Lord God had made. And he said to the woman, "Has God indeed said, `You shall not eat of every tree of the garden'?''2 And the woman said to the serpent, "We may eat the fruit of the trees of the garden; 3 "but of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God has said, `You shall not eat it, nor shall you touch it, lest you die.' 4 And the serpent said to the woman, "You will not surely die. 5 "For God knows that in the day you eat of it your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, knowing good and evil.'' 6 So when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree desirable to make one wise, she took of its fruit and ate. She also gave to her husband with her, and he ate.Abraham account and responseAnd whilst Abraham was proceeding with his son Isaac along the road, Satan came and appeared to Abraham in the figure of a very aged man, humble and of contrite spirit, and he approached Abraham and said to him, art thou silly or brutish, that thou goest to do this thing this day to thine only son ? 26. For God gave thee a son in thy latter days, in thy old age, and wilt thou go and slaughter him this day because he committed no vio- lence, and wilt thou cause the soul of thine only son to perish from the earth ? 27. Dost thou not know and understand that this thing cannot be from the Lord ? For the Lord can- not do unto man such evil upon earth to say to him, go slaughter thy child. 28. And Abra- ham heard this and knew that it was the word of Satan who endeavored to draw him aside from the way of the Lord, but Abraham would not hearken to the voice of Satan, and Abraham rebuked him so that he went away.Support this show http://supporter.acast.com/622a9079e8fb640012cb94f3. Beware of the Least Likely Temptation: 2Cor 2:11 "Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices." We also need to be aware of the other "enemies" that we have: The world and the flesh. We cannot afford to be ignorant of these things either. It's the subtle things, the little things, that sap our strength - our time away from the life we should be living. --- This episode is sponsored by · Anchor: The easiest way to make a podcast. https://anchor.fm/app

Part V: Satan Present Workings Revelation 20:1–3The Thousand Years20 And I saw an angel coming down out of heaven, having the key to the Abyss and holding in his hand a great chain. 2 He seized the dragon, that ancient serpent, who is the devil, or Satan, and bound him for a thousand years. 3 He threw him into the Abyss, and locked and sealed it over him, to keep him from deceiving the nations anymore until the thousand years were ended. After that, he must be set free for a short time.Luke 22:31–33 (KJV 1900)31 And the Lord said, Simon, Simon, behold, Satan hath desired to have you, that he may sift you as wheat: 32 But I have prayed for thee, that thy faith fail not: and when thou art converted, strengthen thy brethren. 33 And he said unto him, Lord, I am ready to go with thee, both into prison, and to death.Luke 22:33–35 (KJV 1900)33 And he said unto him, Lord, I am ready to go with thee, both into prison, and to death. 34 And he said, I tell thee, Peter, the cock shall not crow this day, before that thou shalt thrice deny that thou knowest me. 35 And he said unto them, When I sent you without purse, and scrip, and shoes, lacked ye any thing? And they said, Nothing.2 Corinthians 2:5–11 (KJV 1900)5 But if any have caused grief, he hath not grieved me, but in part: that I may not overcharge you all. “Devices” speak to the way Satan thinks, his purposes, intellect, disposition.Matthew 16:15–19 (KJV 1900)15 He saith unto them, But whom say ye that I am? 16 And Simon Peter answered and said, Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God. 17 And Jesus answered and said unto him, Blessed art thou, Simon Bar-jona: for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee, but my Father which is in heaven. 18 And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. 19 And I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.Hebrews 2:14–15 14 Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he also himself likewise took part of the same; that through death he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil; 15 And deliver them who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage.John 12:31–32 (KJV 1900)31 Now is the judgment of this world: now shall the prince of this world be cast out. 32 And I, if I be lifted up from the earth, will draw all men unto me.

We have to become aware of Satan's devices to attack us. Complacency is one of these devices and God is not pleased with it. Tune in and stir up your gifts and dust off the same old same old with a new fresh anointing.
Matthew 4:1-11 The saying goes; “Better the devil you know than the devil you don’t”, and to this, the Word of God agrees. What saith the Apostle Paul when instructing the Corinthian Church to forgive a brother who had once been caught in a grievous sin but had now been brought to true repentance and remorse over the same? “Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices” (2 Cor. 2:11). Ah, such a statement presupposes many things. In the first, it presupposes that there is such a being as Satan, and in the second, it presupposes the possibility that Satan can gain an advantage over us, though we name the name of Jesus Christ! Brothers and Sisters, there’s no two ways about it, we must be on guard and stand ready to overcome in the day of Satan’s special assault. In this sermon, we take a look at the temptation of Jesus in the wilderness, and in so doing, we learn valuable lessons that serve as aids to help us to overcome when we too shall be tempted by the devil.

2 Corinthians 2:11“Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.” King James Version (KJV)
What you think is directly related to what you know. That's why it is important to make learning the mind of Christ a daily habit. The Bible says “faith comes by hearing and hearing by the Word of God” (Rom 10:17). When you stay away from false information and concentrate on learning and applying Biblical truths, you will think with a divine viewpoint. But unconfessed sin will pollute your thinkin' and block you from understanding God's plan for your life. “Lest Satan should take advantage of us; for we are not ignorant of his devices” (2 Cor 2:11). Don't let Satan use your tongue to start a fire. “Judge not, that you be not judged” (Matt 7:1). Sins of the tongue originate from stinkin' thinkin'. IT IS GOOD TO STUDY THE WORD OF GOD IN CHRIST JESUS. STUDYING THE WORD OF GOD WILL NOT EXEMPT ONE FROM TROUBLES, BUT IT WILL MAKE US WISER TO THE CAUSES AND PROVIDE US WITH THE ANSWERS TO OUR PROBLEMS.---TROUBLE COMES TO MAKE US STRONGER-- OFTEN MANKIND DO NOT HAVE THE STRENGTH TO PERMANENTLY RECOVER FROM OUR OWN TROUBLES. SOMETIMES WE DO NOT HAVE THE KNOWLEDGE TO TURN TO GOD FOR COMFORT AND DELIVERANCE.-- WE MUST LEARN --THAT GOD IS THE GOD OF ALL COMFORT. IF MANKIND HAVE EVER BEEN COMFORTED BY SOMETHING GOOD AND PERFECT--IN HIS LIFE TIME --IT HAS COME FROM GOD. IF MANKIND HAVE EVER RECEIVED ANY THING GOOD AND PERFECT IN HIS LIFETIME, IT HAS COME FROM GOD. JAMES 1:17 EVERY GOOD GIFT AND EVERY PERFECT GIFT IS FROM ABOVE, AND COMETH DOWN FROM THE FATHER OF LIGHTS, WITH WHOM IS NO VARIABLENESS, NEITHER SHADOW OF TURNING--. MANKIND WILL HAVE TO LEARN THAT EVERY GOOD AND PERFECT THING THAT WE WILL RECEIVE COMES WITH A PRICE.--GRATEFULNESS AND GRATITUDE--- THERE IS ONE WHO SEEKS TO STEAL IT, KILL IT, AND DESTROY OUR BLESSINGS. PROVERBS 8:12 I WISDOM DWELL WITH PRUDENCE, AND FIND OUT KNOWLEDGE OF WITTY INVENTIONS. WE NEED TO LEARN OF THE SECRETS OF WISDOM----IN ORDER TO DEAL WITH THOSE WITTY INVENTIONS-------2 CORINTHIANS 2:11 LEST SATAN SHOULD GET A ADVANTAGE OF US: FOR WE ARE NOT IGNORANT OF HIS DEVICES. PROVERBS 12:2 A GOOD MAN OBTAINETH FAVOUR OF THE LORD: BUT A MAN OF WICKED DEVICES WILL THE LORD CONDEMN.--IT WOULD BE A SHAME FOR MANKIND TO LIVE A HARD LIFE OF REPEATED MISTAKES AND HURTFUL FAILURES AND NEVER REALIZE GOD IN CHRIST JESUS WAS READY TO BE HIS SALVATION AND STRENGTH.-- SUFFERING IS AS MUCH A PART OF CHRISTIANITY AS IT IS OF LIFE ITSELF---SUFFERING FOR THE RIGHT---THE "RIGHTEOUSNESS OF GOD" IN CHRIST JESUS IS THE THING TO DO--- AND FEARING GOD IS THE BEGINNING OF WISDOM.--- IF WE SUFFER WITH JESUS CHRIST, SO WILL JESUS CHRIST BE OUR CONSOLATION---THERE ARE THOSE WHO HAVE BECOME ESTABLISHED IN SPIRITUAL IN LIVES--THROUGH--THEIR TRIALS--THEIR ERRORS--AND THROUGH ---THE MERCY OF GOD IN CHRIST JESUS ----THEY HAVE EXPERIENCED-- THE COMFORT OF GOD --SUFFERING CAN BE OUR BEST TEACHER--IF-- WE ARE ROOTED AND GROUNDED IN THE ROOT OF JESSE.-- HEBREWS 2:10 FOR IT BECAME HIM, FOR WHO ARE ALL THINGS, IN BRINGING MANY SONS UNTO GLORY, TO MAKE THE CAPTAIN OF THEIR SALVATION PERFECT THROUGH SUFFERINGS.-- SEEK TO BE CONSOLED OF GOD IN CHRIST JESUS AND REMEMBER THE FATHER OF GLORY----LIFE OFFERS MANY TEMPORARY FIXES THAT OFTEN PULLS US FURTHER AND FURTHER AWAY. We can communicate with one another in seconds through text messages, email, and various apps. The popularity of social media websites like Twitter, Facebook, Youtube, and Pinterest have brought new temptations into marriage. You can develop relationships that impact your marriage in negative ways. As a precarious measure, you may have to exclude yourself from certain technology. However, you must make this choice for yourself. Be careful because your relationship with the Lord and your spouse is more important than anything online. Understand that the Devil wants to destroy your marriage. God created man and woman with certain specific intimate desires that are incredibly fulfilled in a godly marriage. However, Satan plays on those desires by using technology as a cheap and dirty replacement. (i.e. images and relationships) These things leave you with nothing but guilt and shame. There is a crisis coming my friends and in understanding how to get ready for it, we have to know who and what the enemy is. I do not like to spend large amounts of time studying this subject because I like to get people's attention on Jesus and not the enemy. That's where we need to keep our attention focused. However, I want you to notice what the apostle Paul said in 2 Corinthians 2:11, "Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices." If we are ignorant of the devices of the devil, he will take advantage of us. The Bible tells us what we need to know about the enemy we face and we had better pay attention.
