Meena Kumari Adnani is a Self Empowerment and Business Coach for women, an international speaker, and a former lawyer. She is a qualified solicitor in England and Wales and an attorney in New York. She has held senior executive roles in renowned international public-listed companies in Singapore, London, and Indonesia, and oversees business development, sales, and marketing. Meena's amazing story about losing all of her wealth in 2016 when her bank account was zero, to hitting her first seven figures in 2 years is beyond inspiring. Since then, she has invested in multiple properties and created a stream of passive income. Meena now teaches women how to build their self-worth and their net worth because this is the legacy she wants to create - women who are taped to their full potential so that they can be, do, and have what they desire. Meena is the first educated woman in her family and the first self-made millionaire. She is passionate about developing a mindset where you realize that you are not a product of your environment, but you can create the environment that you want. For her, the opportunities were not there growing up, which was very clear since she was a child. She knew the difference between being given the opportunity to live the life that she didn't want versus the life that she wanted and something she had to create.Meena believes that a lot of people are not conscious of the link between action and consequence many times. Action that leads to the consequence that we do not want. If you want to lose 10 pounds or 30 pounds, but you don't change your lifestyle, you don't go to the gym, you eat the same thing you do, you know very well continuing to live and cultivate those habits and taking those actions is not going to lead you to the consequence that you want. Meena's always been very aware of the fact that whatever actions she takes today are going to be toward the life she will live in the future. She encourages people to ask this question every single day: “Am I a victim or a creator?” Checking your mindset. When things don't work in your business and it slows you down to remind yourself. If you continue to believe that circumstances are beyond you, you will continue staying in that victim mentality. Focus on your bigger goals, which means that everything else that comes along the way is just an obstacle that you can overcome versus something that's just going to prevent you from being able to achieve something that you want. Meena always uses different tools when she's working with people as everyone has a different story. She guides you to make that shift, helps you to develop your ideas, and create a personal brand. It's not an overnight process. It takes time. Meena focuses on always being mindful, continuously honing in on your craft, being really good at what you do, and realizing your calling. In this episode:[02:00] Meena shares her background. Being Indian, but born and raised in Indonesia, as one of eight kids.Having a pretty traditional family and not being allowed to get an education.[04:05] Having poor universities around and getting taught in Basa, the language in Indonesia.Meena didn't want to continue studying where she lived and went overseas.Spreading her wings, learning about other cultures, and experiencing the world.[08:42] Developing a mindset where you realize that you are not a product of your environment.Addressing the link between action and consequence.Choosing to either become a victim or a creator.[10:35] Creating the life she wanted, having bigger goals, and focusing on those goals. Everything that comes in the way is an obstacle

Ep 306 Meena Kumari Adnani On today's episode of The Live and Lead for Impact Podcast, Coach Kirsten is joined by Meena Kumari Adnani. Meena Kumari Adnani is an international High Performance & Business Coach for women, a motivational speaker, and a best-selling author. She is a qualified solicitor in England and Wales and an attorney in New York. For 25 years she held senior-level positions in high-profile companies. Her amazing story is about losing all of the wealth that she made as a Lawer ever since graduation due to trusting the wrong person to manage money. Meena has managed to find strength, change her career and make the same money back in just two years, as an entrepreneur. Meena starts by telling us her story, explaining how she has pivoted from practicing law and has focused on doing business development, sales and marketing for quite some time now. In 2016, Meena received a call from her financial manager saying she had lost everything, her multiple six figures went down to zero, leaving her with nothing. She talks about how it changed her forever and how it made her become more aligned with her higher self. Through hard work, she managed to build herself back up in 2 years to 7 figures. Kirsten asks about what Meena found within herself during that period. She explains how her legal background helped her look at things in an objective way. She took personal responsibility for what happened and asked herself what part she played, rather than looking at others and blaming them or blaming circumstances. Meena says that if she had taken the time to understand wealth and taken the responsibility, she would not have had the belief she was good with money. Talking about the impact she is making in the world, Meena explains how she works with women entrepreneurs, working one on one as well as having a personal empowerment program called Empowered Women Academy, which helps women shift their mindset. She also helps women build success and create wealth through building self-belief. A challenge Meena is having right now is finding the right people to help the business grow, such as social media managers and virtual assistants, which she partly puts on herself as she has not given herself the time to look. Kirsten recommends leaders getting really clear about the tasks someone will be doing, and working out whether those tasks can live within one person. The once you have decided how many people you need, you can focus on what the specific skill set they need is. Meena finishes off with some words of wisdom as she shares with us to never stop growing. In order for you to reach that next level, you yourself have to grow to that next level. Our guest today fought all odds to become successful in life and now she works on sharing her wisdom with other women to help them feel empowered. Episode Introduction: Our guests today walks us through her journey from being bound to marry at the age of 20 to graduating as a lawyer in the UK and passing the bar in New York. Today’s episode is truly a testament to what can be achieved if one believes in themselves and channels their faith towards their goals. Episode Summary: From building a career after being inspired by a Bollywood movie to losing a hundred percent of her monetary investment, Meena Kumari Adnani walks us through the various chapters of her life and how her mindset evolved throughout as she made some drastic pivots in her career. Main Takeaways: You shouldn’t intertwine your life with another person to the extent where you don’t have any goals of your own. Sometimes all you need to do is get up in the morning, put your feet on the floor and take the first step - the rest can be figured out as you go. Instead of thinking about how your bad experiences destroyed you, think of them as to how they built you. Every single experience that we go through in our lives happens for a reason. Most of us seek power on the outside without realizing that we already have it on the inside. Instead of focusing on your physical experience, ask yourself what lesson it taught your spirit. If we were born only to serve ourselves, we wouldn’t be surrounded by so many living beings. Meena’s top tips to hone into your best self: Create a new spiritual identity to become confident. Learn how to have a clear vision. Understand the art of becoming a conscious creator. Cultivate the mindset that the universe is not working against you but for you. You can never overcome something you keep running away from. Have some sort of a morning ritual that keeps you replenished during the day. If you focus on gratitude, all you’ll see around you are things to be grateful for. Fun Facts About Meena Kumari Adnani: Some of her favorite books are The Miracle Morning: The Not-so-obvious Secret Guaranteed to Transform Your Life Before 8 AM by Hal Elrod and Think and Grow Rich by Napoleon Hill. Her favorite business tools are Trello, Loom, and Zoom. This episode, we're once more shifting both place and time to Calcutta (now Kolkata) and the turn of the 19th-20th Century respectively. However, we remain fully in epic Bollywood mode, albeit of a very different tone, with Abrar Alvi's (or should that be partially Guru Dutt's?) 1962 masterpiece, Sahib Bibi Aur Ghulam. This film has an heady, leisurely pace with plenty to unpack- Faded glamour, alcoholism and cat weddings all feature. Join us as we make our way through a mesmerising Meena Kumari performance, splendid cinematography, a savage critique of morally bankrupt tax collectors under the British Raj, and more. Content Warning: The central character's agency in this film is represented almost entirely through her relationship with her husband. Whilst the film does contextualise this, if that doesn't sound like your kind of thing, we would be totally fine if you skipped this episode and film.
what was the reason of meena kumari leaving her husband kamal amrohi and not coming back ..

Today’s poem was written by a poet who was more famous for her stardom in Hindi Films than her poetry. Born as Mahjabeen Bano, she was better known by her screen name, Meena Kumari. She ruled the Hindi Film industry with her acting and sublime beauty for four decades. She wrote beautiful poetry under the nom-de-plume, “Naaz” and was poetry in motion on screen. Her personal life was as tragic as the characters that she portrayed on screen. Behind the glitter of silver screen, she struggled with domestic violence, an insecure husband and alcohol addiction before passing away at the young age of 38. She was an autodidact and taught herself English, Hindi and Urdu in the absence of a formal education. This poem reflects her loneliness in a world of fame, arc lights and stardom. #MeenaKumari #Meena #Hindi #Urdu #India #Bollywood #poetry --- Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/amit-singh073/support

On this episode, I spoke with Yasser Usman about writing honest biographies, the debate about authorized versus non-authorized biographies, and why there's a dearth of good writing on Hindi film personalities. We also chatted about Rekha, Bachchan and... Rekha & Bachchan. He had a very interesting take on the present day equation between the two. We also briefly talked about the ever enigmatic, Devyani Chaubal. That and much more on Episode 3.
