There is no clear line of sight as to how quickly supply could return with potentially catastrophic consequences for the world. What is sulphur (sulfur), how and where is it produced and what is it used for and why is the world not talking about this? Welcome back to Season 9 of the Recovering Perfectionist Podcast! In this episode, Christine chats with Dr. Meena McCullough, Doctor of Physical Therapy with over 15 years of clinical experience working exclusively with dancers. Meena is the creator of Body Spring, a dance-focused physical therapy and movement education company dedicated to helping adult dancers move better, feel more stable, and stay in the dance longer. Body Spring bridges the gap between rehabilitation and high-level dance performance. The work focuses on fascia, joint mechanics, and whole-body connection, addressing the underlying patterns that lead to stiffness, pain, instability, and recurring injuries. The goal is simple: to help dancers age athletically, move with confidence, and keep doing what they love.Meena also invented the The Dance Foot Posture System™, a structured, fascia-based training system created specifically for adult dancers who want to improve performance without pushing through pain or stiffness.Unlike generic foot exercises or balance tools, this system teaches dancers how to restore internal support from the ground up by retraining foot posture, pressure management, and joint sequencing. The result is better balance in heels, cleaner technique, improved connection through the legs and core, and fewer injuries over time.Designed for Ballroom, Latin, Smooth, Rhythm, Country, and social dancers, the system is time-efficient, easy to integrate into daily practice, and appropriate for dancers who started later in life or are returning after injury. Many dancers report noticeable changes in how they feel and move within minutes, with deeper, lasting improvements developing over several weeks. This system is not about doing more. It is about preparing the body so technique can actually land.JOIN THE INNER CIRCLE:https://dancewellnesscommunity.com/CONNECT WITH MEENA:https://foothealth.bodyspring.fit/dancer-foot-fasciahttps://www.instagram.com/dr_meena_ptCHRISTINE BAR NOEL:All The Things! https://beacons.ai/christinebarnoelInstagram: https://www.instagram.com/recoveringperfectionistpodcast

Not all misalignment shows up as exhaustion.Sometimes medicine works - the protocols are correct, the outcomes are acceptable - and yet something essential feels missing. In this January Reset re-air, I'm revisiting my conversation with Dr. Meena Julapalli, a pediatric dermatologist whose work spans direct care, creativity, and healing.Dr. Julapalli speaks honestly about practicing inside systems that prioritize efficiency and algorithms, and what gets lost when time, presence, and relationship are squeezed out of care. Her story isn't about leaving medicine - it's about reclaiming it.You'll hear how creating space for meaning and connection changed the way she experiences her work, her patients, and herself as a physician. This conversation aligns deeply with the January Reset reflections around energy, sustainability, and patient relationships. If you've ever felt that your current version of medicine is technically sound but emotionally incomplete, this episode may land close to home.January Reset Invitation Use this episode alongside the free January worksheet, Is DPC Right for You? This episode of the Addicted Minds podcast features a critical discussion on the escalating crisis of teen addiction and mental health, highlighting the vital work of the Free Mind Campaign. Host Duane Osterlind speaks with Jasmine Kenney from the CDC's Division of Overdose Prevention and Dr. Meena Mirhom from Athletes for Hope, who detail the necessity of addressing substance misuse among young people aged 12 to 17. The guests explain that mental health struggles—fueled by social pressures, bullying, and social media—often lead teens to self-medicate with increasingly potent and accessible substances, including highly concentrated cannabis, illegal vapes, and fentanyl-laced drugs. The conversation stresses the need for non-judgmental support from trusted adults and peers to break the cycle of shame and isolation. The guests showcase the innovative approaches used by the Free Mind Campaign and Athletes for Hope to reach youth. Jasmine Kenney outlines the CDC's mobile-friendly resources for parents, like conversation cards and an interactive graphic novel for teens, designed to facilitate dialogue and education. Dr. Mirhom explains how partnering with celebrity athletes provides powerful role models who use their platforms to talk openly about mental health and healthy coping strategies, demonstrating to young people that "it's okay to not be okay" and that seeking help is a sign of strength, not weakness. Ultimately, the discussion emphasizes that hope and effective mental health treatment are available to help youth navigate these challenges and build a supportive ecosystem across their communities.Key Discussion PointsThe Problem: Addiction and overdose deaths are at an epidemic level among young people.Real-World Impact: Dr. Mirhom shares firsthand accounts of seeing individuals struggling with substance use in communities near where they were holding discussions with middle schoolers, highlighting that this is not an abstract issue for teens.Accessibility: Substances, some similar in compound to heroin, are readily accessible—sometimes even at local delis—to young people, with some as young as 11 being asked to carry drugs.

In this special episode, Summer and her mother Samara invite you into the Inner Wealth and Samara universe for an unfiltered, fun and authentic conversation. Today, you get the inside scoop!, they hold nothing back. They discuss the strange, funny and deeply human side of spirituality, including some funny healing stories and unconventional manifestation techniques. As well as how to stay grounded in real-life instead of drifting into a spiritual fantasy world. KEY TAKEAWAYS Most of us are living by a belief system that was created for us, not by us. Often it does not fully suit us, which is why so many adults are still searching for their true purpose and fulfilment. Healing isn't about “fixing” you, because you were never broken, it is about becoming more, about growing and about elevating. It's about ultimately evolving. In order to manifest, we have to become more. It's about meeting that vibration of the thing that we want - healing helps us to undo and move through the lower vibration stuff. Chasing your own growth is how you touch the divine inside you. Serving others and loving yourself a bit extra—that's the secret sauce for soulful expansion. Let life unfold. Getting obsessed only makes the ride bumpier. Trust in your seasons, adapt, and let the next soulful thing find you. Stop blaming others, take responsibility. Don´t delay facing up to things and addressing them. BEST MOMENTS “Healing is about becoming more. It's about growing. It's about elevating. It's about ultimately evolving.” “The more that you fill yourself up, and the more that you provide value for your own life, the more that you can be of purpose to the world.” “If the meditation isn't feeling the same anymore, stop trying to make it work. Come back to it. Go try something else.” EPISODE RESOURCES Previous episodes with Summer´s mother Meena - https://podcasts.apple.com/gb/podcast/the-mind-behind-inner-wealth/id1749961258?i=1000702616219 Question episode - https://podcasts.apple.com/gb/podcast/the-answers-are-in-the-questions/id1749961258?i=1000700681834 HOST BIO I am Summer. Indian Genius: The Meteoric Rise of Indians in America is a new book by the author and journalist Meenakshi Ahamed. While many immigrant groups have found success in the United States, few have excelled as far and as fast as Indian Americans, reaching heights in a single generation that many thought would take the better part of a century to achieve. Ahamed's new book offers fascinating portraits of several Indian Americans in three distinct sectors—technology, medicine, and public policy. The book tries to understand what exactly accounts for Indian Americans' ability to break into mainstream American culture and their meteoric rise within its ranks.Listeners may remember our 2021 conversation with Meena on her previous book, A Matter of Trust: India–US Relations from Truman to Trump. To talk about her new book, Meena joins Milan on the show this week. They talk about the “godfather” of the Indian tech community in Silicon Valley, the balance between creativity and execution, and the role of caste. Plus, the two discuss the real (and perceived) influence of Indian Americans in Washington.Episode notes:1. In this episode of Critical Magic Theory, we begin our deep dive into the origins of Lord Voldemort by unpacking the complexities of Tom Riddle Jr. Professor Julian Wamble explores what made young Tom tick—his ambitions, insecurities, and relentless desire to prove himself in the Wizarding World. Was he a textbook Slytherin, or did his ego ultimately undermine his ambitions? Is he a victim of his upbringing, or was his villainy inevitable? From his desperate need for external validation to his obsession with rewriting his own identity, we trace the moments that shaped Tom Riddle into the Dark Lord. We also delve into psychological insights from a clinical psychologist, questioning whether he was truly a psychopath or simply a product of deep-seated trauma. Join us as we challenge the myth of Voldemort's self-confidence, analyze the sheer pettiness of his anagrammed name, and examine whether his master plan was ever as foolproof as he thought. And, of course, stay tuned for the next episode, where we transition from “Tommy J” to the fully transformed Voldemort, post-nose.
