Estefanía Fadul (estefaniafadul.com) is a Colombian-born, New Hampshire-raised, NYC-based director and creative producer with a passion for new work. Recent directing includes the world premieres of Eva Luna adapted by Caridad Svich from the novel by Isabel Allende (Repertorio Español), The Garbologists by Lindsay Joelle (Philadelphia Theatre Company), The Same Day by Stefan Ivanov (Sfumato Theatre, Bulgaria), Scissoring by C. Quintana (INTAR), and the Drama League-nominated Carla's Quince, which she conceived and developed with The Voting Project Ensemble to mobilize Latiné voters to the polls. She has developed new plays and musicals off-Broadway and regionally at the Public Theater, Chautauqua, Latinx Playwrights Circle, Playwrights' Realm, NYTW, Audible, Goodspeed, Long Wharf, Juilliard, and more. She was on the producing team for Soho Rep.'s first all-ages, site-specific show Washeteria, and is a co-producer on the upcoming world premiere of Raquel Almazan's La Paloma Prisoner. Estefanía is a member of the leadership circle of the Center for Performance and Civic Practice (CPCP), the Drama League Board of Directors, Latinx Theatre Commons advisory committee, Lincoln Center Directors Lab, and SDC. Maite Bonilla made her debut as the director, co-writer and lead character in her first short film “La Entreviú.” She won Best Actress, Best Screenwriter and Best Short film for the film at FEMUJER film festival (2019) in her hometown of the Dominican Republic, and won third place in The Dominican Film Festival in New York City (2018). And, her second short film I AM POEM is a recipient of the 2021 Inwood Film Festival Filmmaker Fund Award from Inwood Art Works. As an actor, she recently played “Beli” in the Spanish adaptation for “The Brief and Wondrous Life of Oscar Wao”, and gave an award winning performance in her role as "Ramona" from the adaptation of the novel "En el nombre de Salomé" – both at Repertorio Español. Bonilla studied with Terry Schreiber, The Acting Studio and The School for Film and Television in New York City, and in June of 2020 she graduated with her Masters Degree in Mental Health Counseling from Alfred University. In 2011, she began writing her cycle of grim Latinx fairy tales—fairy tales for adults inspired by Latinx mythology and folklore which include: THE RIVER BRIDE (2013 National Latino Playwriting Award Co-Winner, 2016 Oregon Shakespeare Festival world premiere); WOLF AT THE DOOR (2016 Kilroys List, 2018/2019 National New Play Network Rolling World Premiere); and ALCIRA. Marisela is an alum of the Iowa Playwrights Workshop, the Playwrights Foundation's Resident Playwright Initiative, a founding member of the Bay Area Latino Theatre Artists Network, and a member of the Latinx Theatre Commons' national Steering Committee. Last year she was selected as a Core Writer at The Playwrights' Center in Minneapolis. Marisela is also a member of the Goodman Theatre's 2018/2019 Playwrights Unit. Currently, Marisela is working on a new cycle of worst-case scenario plays—sci-fi thriller plays which include WMB (pronounced “womb”) and NIGHTFALL which she has been commissioned by Audible to adapt for their platform. She is also adapting Charles Dickens' Little Dorrit into a five-hour epic piece of theatre. Originally from Lockhart, Texas, she found her way to the genre while completing an MFA in Writing at the University of San Francisco (USF) where she studied poetry exclusively. While a student at USF, Marisela became the Resident Poet of El Teatro Jornalero!, a social justice theatre company comprised of Latinx immigrants. Marisela’s first play BRAIDED SORROW (2008 Su Teatro world premiere) won the 2006 Chicano/Latino Literary Prize in Drama and the 2009 Pen Center USA Literary Award in Drama. Her other plays include: AMERICAN TRIAGE (2012 Repertorio Español Nuestras Voces Finalist); GHOST LIMB (2017 Brava Theatre world premiere); HEART SHAPED NEBULA (2015 Shotgun Players world premiere); SHOE (2019 Kendeda Finalist); RETURN TO SENDER (2019 Nashville Children’s Theatre world premiere); and WOMAN ON FIRE (2016 Camino Real Productions world premiere). Her awards while there include a Theatre Fellowship Grant from The Princess Grace Foundation, Best Actress, XIII Chamizal International Festival, El Paso, in The Trickster of Seville and ACE Award for Eduardo Machado’s Revoltillo. More recently she was seen in Sophia Romma’s “Cabaret Émigré” at Theatre Row, and in Carmen Rivera’s “The Fall of Trujillo” at Teatro Círculo, winning a Best Actress award from ATI, The Independent Theatre Artists Organization. Alice Bahlke was trained at Emory University and the O’Neill National Theater Institute. Alice most recently appeared on Theater Row as part of Rachel Reiner Productions’ Villainous Company . Up next, Alice will be filming the feature film, The Goddess, with The Looking Glass. Favorite credits include As the World Turns (CBS), Hell House LLC which recently premiered at Lincoln Center, and of course, Marina Tsvetaeva in Sophia Romma's The Past is Still Ahead at the Midtown International Theatre Festival in the summer of 2013 . Alice is thrilled to be reprising her role for 365 Women's Playwrights A Year at the Sheen Center, as the ill-fated poetic soul of Marina Tsvetaeva.Walter Krochmal (www.sonichoop.com) has a diverse career as an actor that spans classics, contemporary, performance art, sketch comedy/revue, site-specific, folk and other genres, in English and Spanish, with engagements at festivals in the U.S., Canada, Mexico, the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, the National Theater of Honduras and beyond.
