“We have a country to save!”  Candidates for the new Congressional District 8 and Douglas County School Board join Kim in the studio to discuss how Colorado must change direction before it becomes the second “California.”  Jewels Gray is a candidate for the new CD8.  Kaylee Winegar and Mike Peterson are running for Douglas County School Board.  Mike quotes President Reagan, “Freedom is never more than one generation away from extinction.”  LEAP, Learning Enrichment and Academic Progress Program, is a proposition on the November ballot.  Vote no on LEAP.  We need to properly educate our students during the school day.  We do not need a nine member board, appointed by the governor, where the members pick their replacements, the board has taxing authority and the board picks the vendors with no accountability.  Biden will be in Denver today.  An opinion piece by Roger Simon states that we may be fulfilling Lenin's statement that the fastest way to socialism or communism is through the healthcare system.  Miami airport now has dogs that can detect the COVID-19/Wuhan-China virus.  With the vaccine mandate, will the trucking industry halt shipments?  Carry with you SB21-142 where it is Colorado law, Every person has a right to privacy with respect to personal health decisions, free from coercion or interference from the government. Jewels discusses with Kim the reasons for her candidacy.  She will no longer be complacent and will work for the rights of the individuals, not the government.  Jewels, like all of us, sees the government overreach in every aspect of our life and it must stop.  Jewels' attention will be focused on:  education, second amendment rights, freedom of speech, concerns of small businesses, and election integrity.  To learn more about Jewels visit her website, jewelsforColorado.com.  Kimberlee Bell, owner of Kunjani Coffee, encourages listeners to visit her website for daily specials and upcoming events, including this Saturday night, September 18th, for Sip and Paint (https://kunjanicoffee.com/events).  Starting this Wednesday night, September 15th, at 6:30pm Kim will be hosting Prayer Night, a time to gather with others to pray for our state and our nation. The four Douglas County School Board candidates, Kaylee and Mike joined by Kristy Williams and Becky Myers, have common themes:  empower parents, teachers and leaders at the local level and focus policy centered around the students.  Classrooms must teach the basics of reading, writing, math, science, history, civics and critical thinking to prepare students to live the best version of themselves possible.  Adult politics need to stay out of the schools.  Statewide, only 24% of our sixth-grade students are proficient in math.  We must stop this trend.  Curriculum and activities taking place in the schools must be transparent so that parents are informed.  Leadership in Douglas County schools has grown into a toxic environment hindering students.  The combined skill sets of the four candidates will enable the district to regain its past reputation of excellence.  This includes giving the teachers the resources they need to properly educate our children so they all can be successful.  For more information, visit vote4kidsfirst.com.

On the edge of a village, deep in China's South-West mountains, is an abandoned copper mine. Ten years ago, six miners contracted a mysterious disease—Three of them died. Could this be the origin of the pandemic that has killed more than 3.8 million people worldwide? Did samples taken from the mine leak from the Wuhan lab in 2019 after infecting researchers there? More than a year and a half on, the push is finally on for a serious investigation of the Wuhan Lab. But, why have America's elites—politicians, researchers, and media, until now, been diverting us from this action? Epoch Times contributor and novelist, Roger Simon gives his insights on why U.S. elites seem more loyal to Beijing than to America. “A lot of them don't want to upset Beijing… Because they don't want to bite the hand that will potentially feed them.” —Roger Simon #RogerSimon #China #VirusOrigin

No one understands politics like Roger Simon, Chief Political Columnist for Politico! Mr. Simon grew up on the South Side of Chicago where politics was a contact sport. At the Chicago Sun-Times, where he wrote a column four times per week, Simon was taught that the only way for a journalist to look upon a politician was down. He admits he now fights against that impulse daily. Roger calls ‘em as he sees ‘em. He'll be giving Halli his straight up the middle view of today's political climate on The Halli Casser-Jayne Show.

Plug It In & Turn Me On (Pt.2) aka "Denise's Birthday Treat". Denise: I do hope you like the "treat"... I know I am late but it took a while to get it right.. Furthermore good luck on your new adventure.. Picking up where I left it with Part 1. Funky Sexy House & Trouse. Put on your dancing shoes, drop your inhibitions and let yourselves go. Current House/Trouse with a couple of oldies. A Xtian original with the "Yak Yaak Boom" edit of King of My Castle (my first GarageBand venture so be kind..). A set mainly for the younger generation but who knows... Mixed without proper gear , still I dare you not to have your feet urging for a dance once you get 30 mins in this probably Cheesy but effective set. Intro: We Love House Accapella Dave Floyd & Pookie w/Weekend (Marco Lys Remix). Haji & Emanuel 2011 New Day (Extended Mix) [Xtian Dubbed Edit]. Olav Basoski 2010 C’mon Get Phunky (Phat Mix). Ralphi Rosario & Abel Aguilera feat. Tamara Wallace        2010 C’mon Get Phunky (Maurice Joshua Mix). Ralphi Rosario feat. Abel Aguilera 2011 Call My Name (Original Club Mix). Sultan & Ned Shepard feat. Nadia Ali 2010 Alejandro (Dave Aude Club Remix). Lady GaGa 2007 Tiny Dancer (Moto Blanco Mix). Marco DeMark feat. Casey Barnes          2011 King of My Castle (Xtian “Yak Yak Boom” Original Remix). Bastian Van Shield 2009 King of My Castle (Dex Dextor Remix). Wamdue Project feat. Jonathan Mendelsohn 2011 Miami Beach (Dr Shiver Mix) [Xtian Edit w/Mike Dunn Feel The Muzik Accapella]. Eric Tyrell & Roger Simon feat. Lana Gordon         2010 Fantasy (Tritonal Air Up There Remix). Nadia Ali       2008 Rapture (Riva Mix). Iio 2010 Rapture (Avicii New Generation Remix). Nadia Ali 2011 Take Over Control (Spencer & Hill Mix). Afrojack feat. Eva Simons Outro We Love House Accapella Dave Floyd & Pookie  Highlights: looking at the playlist, it seems I went on another Nadia Ali bender... Guilty as charged I love her voice.. The Avicii remix of "Rapture" is really a great uplifting take. "Call My Name" new track from Ms. Ali shows again what a great vocalist and songwriter she is. Somehow I fitted in Lady Gaga ( I did Rihanna in the Pt.1) and the Dave Aude remix is actually surprisingly good. "Fantasy" is there because for once I found a way to mix in a 135 bpm track and the Tritonal Remix is a smasher. I will return to Traktor next mix. Finally back to a decent set-up! My foray in funky House/Trouse is over for now... Back to Deep & Soulful.. Music my old bones can actually relate to. And no more titillating covers for a while.. Promise!
