ABOUT KRISTIN CASEY AND CASEY DANCER The follow-up to Kristin Casey's widely acclaimed memoir Rock Monster: My Life with Joe Walsh Casey Dancer is the true story of a thirty-nine-year-old part-time stripper, full-time real estate agent, and struggling writer navigating the chaos of love and ambition. Fresh from a tumultuous breakup and newly sober, Kristin finds herself struggling to re-enter the dating scene. When she falls for Lalo, a charming but troubled ex-coke dealer, their steamy affair leads to deep emotional conflict, testing her boundaries and stirring memories of past relationships. Through the highs of passion, the lows of financial strain, and the harsh realities of erotic labor, Kristin fights to reclaim her sense of self. Bold, raw, and unapologetically honest, Casey Dancer is a story of resilience, vulnerability, and self-discovery. "In Casey Dancer, Kristin Casey invites readers into an unfiltered exploration of her journey through the complexities of sex, dating, and intimacy, transcending the superficial allure of romantic entanglements to uncover the raw truths that lie beneath. This candid memoir serves as a fearless examination of the often-unspoken realities of modern relationships, revealing not only the euphoric highs of passionate encounters but also the deep vulnerabilities that arise when one dares to be truly seen by another. With an honesty that is both refreshing and disarming, Kristin confronts her own choices and experiences with genuine curiosity, challenging societal norms and expectations along the way. Throughout the memoir, she thoughtfully references her first book, Rock Monster, which chronicled her whirlwind relationship with rock legend Joe Walsh. These poignant callbacks serve as effective reminders of where she's been and how those experiences have shaped her understanding of love and self. Through her journeys, both physical and emotional, Kristin pushes boundaries in ways that are not only refreshing but also deeply relatable. She invites readers to join her on a path of self-acceptance, exploring the intersections of sexuality, identity, and the relentless passage of time. Casey Dancer dares to ask the difficult questions, embracing the messy, beautiful, and sometimes painful realities of being human. It is a celebration of resilience, a testament to the strength found in vulnerability, and an invitation for readers to embark on their own journeys of self-discovery." -Chris Epting, memoirist and author of forty-five books including Where One Hears the Rain ABOUT KRISTEN CASEY Kristin Casey is a writer and recovered alcoholic and addict. Jon Herold returns with a solo scorcher on The Daily Herold, covering a whirlwind of stories from the Trump administration's latest executive orders to the unraveling of deep state operatives and judicial overreach. Jon breaks down seven new Trump EOs focused on lowering prescription drug prices, securing critical minerals, streamlining infrastructure permits, and, most explosively, barring illegal aliens from receiving Social Security benefits. He doesn't hold back on how insane it is that this wasn't already a policy. From there, Jon dissects the legal theatrics surrounding the deportation of MS-13-linked Kilmar Garcia, calling out Judge Boasberg's contempt threat as toothless grandstanding. He covers Pam Bondi's legal smackdown on Maine over women's sports protections, Gavin Newsom's laughable lawsuit against Trump's tariffs, and Biden's return to public speaking (complete with signature gaffes). But the real heat comes with breaking news: Letitia James is now under federal criminal referral for mortgage fraud, the exact offense she used to hammer Trump. Jon also dives into the mass resignation of the Pentagon's tech team linked to the mysterious IP address handoff in 2020, DOJ letters targeting Mueller's prosecution team, and two senior Pentagon officials fired over classified leaks. From CIA shakeups to media pool purges, Jon tracks every signal in the noise.

Welcome to episode 96. Today, we're diving deep into a crucial yet often misunderstood topic — autistic burnout. Drawing from my own personal experiences, this episode unpacks the emotional and physical toll of navigating a world not built for neurodivergent minds. We explore the vital need for extreme rest as a form of recovery, and the persistent self-doubt fuelled by societal pressures to "bounce back." Join me for an honest, insightful conversation about burnout, rest, and reclaiming compassion for ourselves. Let's dive in! In this episode: Understanding autistic burnout – How environments clash with neurodivergent needs and the exhaustion of constant adaptation. The importance of extreme rest – Why extreme rest is essential for healing, demanding a conscious choice to pause, reset, and prioritise well-being over daily responsibilities. Self-doubt and feeling like a fraud - How self-doubt fuels the fear of "faking it," and the need for excessive kindness in self-validation. Hannah Diviney is one of the most powerful people in pop culture. At just 25 years old, the author, advocate, and actor hasn’t just called out Lizzo for using an ableist slur—she also took on Queen B herself. And she succeeded on both fronts. Which, once you get to know her, isn’t surprising at all. In our Vulnerabilitea House, Hannah reflects on the questions: “How do you see yourself? Is it the same way your loved ones see you?” Answering with incredible vulnerability, Hannah shares how her relationship with her disability has evolved over time and what it was like growing up in a world where the Paralympics seemed like the only visible marker of success. We talk to Hannah about being a part of intimate television history, and Ryan, the love doctor, Shelton manifests a Brad (or Stewie, or Chris, or Michael-Angelo) in her future. Hannah, we are so desperate to be your friend. To watch this full episode on YouTube, click here: https://bit.ly/41vzALg
Byron York, Chief Political Correspondent for the Washington Examiner and Fox News contributor, joined The Guy Benson Show today to break down the shocking case of Charles Littlejohn, who stole Trump's tax returns (along with the tax information of hundreds of thousands of Americans) and walked away with only minor charges. York and Benson explained why this case is a prime example of Democrats weaponizing lawfare to their advantage. The pair also discussed the left's outrage over The Wall Street Journal's editorial shift toward a more pro-America, pro-freedom stance, as well as the broader decline in trust in legacy media--and why major outlets are scrambling to adapt. Beneath this towering structure lies a history shrouded in tragedy—suicide, dismembered remains, mysterious deaths, and dozens of unanswered questions. In 1989, the bridge became the site of a chilling case: the untimely deaths of two 15-year-old boys, Matthew Kelly and Jaymie Egner, who were discovered inside one of the bridge's 33m high pylons. “Don't say that, Raimunda, or I'll start crying. And ghosts don't cry.” We watched “Volver” (2006) directed by iconic Spanish director Pedro Almodóvar and excuse us, we need to go call our mothers. Penélope Cruz plays Raimunda - a mother who does what needs to be done to protect her daughter in a time of dire need. When the ghost of Raimunda's mother shows up with some unfinished business, Raimunda, her daughter Paula (Yohana Cobo) and her sister Sole (Lola Dueñas) are all able to come to terms with some major family issues. Almodóvar directs these women in a way that only he can - showing this inter-generational story with all the weight and humor we really encounter in life. We talk about Almodóvar's reunion with actress Carmen Maura (of previous MTMUG episode “Women on the Verge of a Nervous Breakdown), the heartbreaking beauty of Spain and how the “dressed down” Penélope Cruz is more beautiful than any of us even on our best day. This week on Peanuts and Popcorn, we open the bag of popcorn with an underappreciated gem by Akira Kurosawa, Tom's choice, High and Low (1963). Steve Soderbergh directed the star-studded project Leo suggested. Based on a novel by Elmore Leonard, Out of Sight (1998). In Peanuts, we react to the recent developments regarding Shohei Otani. One of them has nothing to do with gambling. The Cubs can hit, but their pitching is thin. The Tigers are the opposite, great pitching, they can't hit.
