"Hot damn, hot water, hot shower" - Ben reviews Belle's Spicy Chicken. - We revisit the concept of the best way to wear a towel after a shower. - We discuss crappy bathrooms, falling through the floor, Alfa Romeo accidents, door to door battery salesmen and patting strange dogs. - Nobody hates shower curtains and immovable screws. - Nobody's latest Japanese trip makes her question her anatomy. - Nobody reveals the two things that reduced her husband to tears on their holiday. - Ben provides a dating app update as we discuss his new first date line and being offered the consolation prize of dating a friend. - We help a redditor who's asking ‘where the hoes at?' - We discuss Where's Wally kinks and Wally's nemesis Odlaw. - Zac Efron isn't a fan of his Spanish dub voice actor. - Ben's parents watch Sophie's Choice in German and miss the entire point of the movie. - Ben judges people who say they ‘read' a book but later reveal they listened to the audiobook.
Oh what a spicy journey we're starting! We took a trip to the newest (at time of recording) Prince's Hot Chicken Location at the Tanger Outlets in Antioch. This restaurant is only a short trip from downtown, and if you happen to drive to and from the Boro (Murfreesboro) you'll drive past it a few times a day! Stop by and see the amazing history on the walls that reference the family, and who knows! You may even see Ms. Andre there! haha Either way, enjoy some amazing Watermelon Sweet Iced Tea, Spicy Chicken, and some great stories. What was the name of that sandwich again? Hmmm... Also, Shoutout to Fairlife Milk for the help with the Side Chick this week! They don't sponsor us... but it'd be AWESOME if they did! Anyone know anybody there? No? Alright it was worth a shot! Also, did you hear what Gregory said about the chicken in this Prince's restaurant?! You didn't?! I guess you'll need to tune into this week's episode of The HOT Chix Podcast!
This quick light salad is perfect for eating al fresco, whether you decide to cook the chicken under the grill or on a barbecue so that it can be brought along as part of a picnic while it is marinating. Raw tiger prawns would make a nice alternative to the chicken.

However, that night's events were deeply memorable because Wei did something he would never normally do. He accidentally bit into a chicken foot covered in red chili peppers. Despite the fiery chili, Wei showed no signs of discomfort. 你确定要挑战这道菜?"En: The neon lights from the street lamps illuminated their table, making the chili peppers on the chicken foot stand out vividly. Jing looked at the chili chicken foot, his eyes widened like bells, as if saying, "Wei? Are you sure you want to challenge this dish?"Zh: 伟却只是回以微笑,那种从未见过的淡定让景愣了一下。 En: Wei just smiled in response, a calmness Jing had never seen before. He picked up a chicken foot and without hesitation, took a bite. En: Amused, Jing turned his head to observe him and was shocked to see Wei's composed expression. En: "Wei, I thought you couldn't handle spicy food?" Wei, usually cheerful and lively, was unexpectedly quiet and contemplative that night. He watched as Wei fearlessly devoured the plate of spicy chicken feet, and suddenly, he understood the meaning behind Wei's actions. En: After that, Wei continued to eat, expressionless, as if it was just a normal thing to do.
