Hubert Davis and North Carolina secured their first commitment in the class of 2024 on Thursday when in-state strong forward Drake Powell announced his decision to come to Chapel Hill for college. UNC recently offered class of 2024 basketball player Trentyn Flowers (SF, who lists himself as a combo guard). Flowers is the ninth player to receive an offer from the Tar Heels in the class. Flowers has played at multiple high schools recently including Huntington Prep, Sierra Canyon, and will this year suit up for Combine Academy in the Charlotte area. This young man has a never-ending line of suitors and will have his choice of any school he desires.
