Episode 174 breaks down the fallout from AEW Revolution 2026, a chaotic and violent night that reshaped several divisions across the company. In the main event, MJF defeated Hangman Adam Page in a brutal Texas Death Match to retain the AEW World Championship. The match pushed the limits of violence with glass, barbed wire, light tubes, chains, and some of the most disturbing spots AEW has ever presented. In the end, MJF knocked Hangman out with the Dynamite Diamond Ring and hung him with a chain, leaving him unconscious and unable to answer the ten count. With the stipulation attached to the match, Hangman Adam Page can no longer challenge for the AEW World Championship. Elsewhere on the show, Jon Moxley defeated Konosuke Takeshita in a brutal war to retain the Continental Championship before the shocking return of Will Ospreay, who stormed the ring and attacked the Death Riders after months away recovering from a neck injury. FTR retained the AEW World Tag Team Championships against The Young Bucks in another instant classic between the two teams. The celebration didn't last long, however, as the lights went out and the chaos escalated with the surprise arrivals of Adam Copeland and Christian Cage, creating a tense standoff that immediately reshapes the tag team title picture. The AEW Trios Championships changed hands as Mistico and JetSpeed defeated the Don Callis Family, followed by the announcement that Mistico is officially All Elite. Other major results included Swerve Strickland defeating Brody King before Kenny Omega returned to stop a post-match assault, Andrade El Idolo defeating Bandido in a standout lucha showcase, and Thekla retaining the AEW Women's Championship over Kris Statlander in a controversial two-falls-to-one match. In the women's division, Timeless Toni Storm defeated Marina Shafir, but the bigger moment came afterward when Ronda Rousey appeared and confronted Storm, creating a tense face-to-face moment that could set up a massive future clash. Plus we run down the full Zero Hour results, preview the week ahead across RAW, NXT, Dynamite, SmackDown, TNA Impact, AEW Collision, and AAA on Fox, and look ahead to the major events shaping the wrestling calendar including TNA Sacrifice, NXT Road Block, NXT Stand & Deliver, WrestleMania weekend, AEW Dynasty, and more. AEW Revolution is THIS weekend, and AEW Dynamite gave us SO MUCH to talk about and consider for our PREDICTIONS GAME!If you missed the livestream, you missed the sight of Tim drowning in a cursed, off-center Jeff Jarrett shirt; the ultimate price for losing the last round of predictions. Tim is convinced that he will achieve victory this round, but Tom does not believe the same. Here's a taste of what went down and why you need to get this episode in your ears before AEW Revolution kicks off.The “Wrestling Terrorist” TheoryOur Senior European International Correspondent, Ash Hendricks, called in with a wild hypothesis about the future of Hangman Page and Swerve Strickland. If MJF retains and Hangman is truly barred from the title, what happens next? We dive deep into a scenario involving a “hostile takeover” and whether or not a “Deal with the Devil” is the only way to save the Cowboy's career.Dynamite Review: Pressers and Bench PressesWe broke down the latest Dynamite, specifically why hosting a press conference as a “main event” away from the live crowd might have been a swing and a miss. Plus, we couldn't ignore the front-row appearance of Dave Meltzer and his questionable t-shirt choices, leading to a debate on whether Dave is actually a secret high school wrestling coach or a regional supplement salesman.Revolution Predictions: 12 Matches, Zero MercyThe stakes couldn't be higher. With 12 matches on the card, we went through every single one, but you'll have to listen to the full episode to hear how we see these playing out:* The Main Event: We get into some “big brain” booking for the Texas Death Match. Is there a “double switch” coming? Does Hangman go “ultra-heel” to keep the gold?* The Returns: We debate Sara's prediction of at least three surprise returns. From the “Billy Goat” to a potential C&C appearance, we break down who is actually showing up in LA.* The Grudge Matches: We look at Swerve vs. Brody King for the title of “Most Dangerous Man” and whether or not anyone actually found Brody's Dynamite opponent at a local 7-Eleven.* The Tag Division Chaos: We are split on the World Tag Team titles. Will it be FTR or the Young Bucks? And more importantly, does Stokely Hathaway actually need that wheelchair? The All Elite Time MachineWe took a trip back to March 18, 2020; the dawn of the empty arena era. Tom tries to recall which member of the Elite was crushed under a garage door, leading to the debut of Broken Matt Hardy.Where to Find Us* Web: allelitewrapup.com for all the links, including the YouTube archive and donate buttons.* Socials: Find us skeeting all over the internet on BlueSky.* Email: Send your rants, clips, and booking ideas to aewrapup@gmail.com.Tune in now to hear the full breakdown, before Tim loses again and has to wear that shirt for another month.Music from #Uppbeat (free for Creators!):https://uppbeat.io/t/aavirall/gravityLicense code: FUEBS0UI2NFZPDE4 This is a public episode. AEW hit a lot of semi-nonsensical but mostly enjoyable beats this week, with Hangman and MJF's weird stipulation negotiations, Swerve justifying his heel turn, and Thunder Rosa and Kris Statlander continuing their weird ?? friendship question mark?? Though we might have cracked that one open with a beautiful little cloud story. And then… it's March, and you know what that means! That's right, it's the inaugural week of the 2026 Best Bodies (B2) tournament! This year it's a round robin between the top 12 bodies nominated by listeners, and BOY did we have an upset right out of the gate! Who was it? Okay, a “One Way No Disqualification Match” stipulation is funny, you've gotta give Max points for that. This week, we're the wrestling podcast that feels no pain, only joy. And maybe a little bit of pain. (00:00:00) News (00:02:11) MJF and Hangman decided on their stip and… it's the one they told us last week (00:14:01) Quite excited about the idea of monster heel Swerve Strickland actually (00:18:45) Oh go on then, we'll make up our own match stips (00:25:05) Jet Set Rodeo need to get Chappelle Roan gear please (00:27:17) Anarchy in the Mile High Madness with the Young Bucks, Jack Perry, The Rascalz, The Demand, and FTR (00:31:11) Is there trouble brewing between the Rascalz? (00:33:39) What's going on with Blake Christian not being on the roster page? (00:36:06) Wrestling, it turns out, is a high risk profession, and much of the IWC is a trash fire (00:45:02) Orange Cassidy updates (00:49:21) Loving Kyle's pink belt, not sure he really is BFFs with Okada though (00:51:53) Death Riders vs Don Callis Family, again (01:01:41) More matches set for Revolution? The girls are back in town! That's right, FINALLY all three Tunnel Talkettes are reunited and it feels sooooo good. Let's get this car OFF the rails already! And it was a crazy week, with multiple unexpected title changes for us to work through. We get back in the swing of things with a discussion of the men's world title scene* and how Kenny and Swerve are going about their feud. From that big new matchup, we go into a matchup we've seen many, many times before, FTR and the Young Bucks. Also, Thekla's the new Women's World Champion, to everyone's surprise, and we talk through that and how the women's division is treated generally. Plus, Jon Moxley called Wheeler Yuta “naturally beautiful,” Allie has as much trouble working through how to process Tommaso Ciampa's existence as the rest of us did, and of course ham comes up at least a little.
