On Easter Sunday in 1985, aged 13, I audio-taped a Prince show off the BBC. I was obsessed with it for years. I had painted the inside artwork from Purple Rain on the wall. The full show was eventually released on VHS. I bought that and taped that too. I always hoped that one day it would get re-mastered and an official release on a better format (well, DVD).
