With the usual celebration complicated by the coronavirus pandemic, the repercussions of the Capitol Siege, and contentions with current President Trump, all eyes are on Washington DC to see how Biden will set the tone for his administration over the next few days, particularly in a 50-50 Senate. ‘Inside Sources with Boyd Matheson,’ Opinion Editor at Deseret News, takes you inside the latest political news and current events, providing higher ground for today's discussions. It is President-elect Joe Biden’s inauguration week and his administration is gearing up as the Trump administration is winding down. The Biden administration is promising to attack four overlapping crises right from the start, the coronavirus pandemic, climate change, racial equity, and the economic recession. Boyd points out the continued problem of executive orders and the vicious cycle wasting America’s time. ‘Inside Sources with Boyd Matheson,’ Opinion Editor at Deseret News, takes you inside the latest political news and current events, providing higher ground for today's discussions. The year 2020 laid bare a concerning disconnect between elected officials and the American people, and 2021 is shaping up to magnify that chasm. While opposing sides are declaring the “day of reckoning” is coming for the other, Boyd would like to point out that the real day of reckoning is happening for the leaders who have disconnected from their constituents they are supposed to represent. Whoever successfully reconnects and represents our citizens truly will lead “we the people” for the next decade and beyond. ‘Inside Sources with Boyd Matheson,’ Opinion Editor at Deseret News, takes you inside the latest political news and current events, providing higher ground for today's discussions. The House is voting on impeaching President Trump for the second time today. The article of impeachment charges includes "incitement of insurrection" for "spreading false statements" about the election, particularly in regard to the Capitol riot on Wednesday, January 6th, 2021. Late last night the House had approved a resolution urging Vice President Mike Pence to help oust President Trump by invoking the 25th Amendment, which he decided was not in the best interest of the nation. Boyd breaks down the situation encouraging reason over rage. ‘Inside Sources with Boyd Matheson,’ Opinion Editor at Deseret News, takes you inside the latest political news and current events, providing higher ground for today's discussions. With the inauguration of President-elect Joe Biden in 8 days, and the Capitol protest less than a week behind us, the House is considering invoking the 25th amendment to impeach President Donald Trump for the second time. This morning Trump spoke publicly for the first time addressing his anger over the impeachment talk and condemning the violence of the capitol siege. With all that in mine, Boyd asks. what is best for our country at this moment and in the future? ‘Inside Sources with Boyd Matheson,’ Opinion Editor at Deseret News, takes you inside the latest political news and current events, providing higher ground for today's discussions. IHeart Radio National Correspondent Bill Zimpfer joins us to talk about the continued efforts in Congress to get President Trump out of office before his term ends.
Is a historical second impeachment in order for President Trump? With only 9 days until President-elect Biden’s inauguration, Nancy Pelosi and other lawmakers are calling for the impeachment on the grounds of ‘incitement of insurrection’ for the Capitol Protest last week. Boyd asks, what congress can do and what they should do? He challenges his listeners to watch and support strong leaders in this time of turmoil. ‘Inside Sources with Boyd Matheson,’ Opinion Editor at Deseret News, takes you inside the latest political news and current events, providing higher ground for today's discussions. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi is threatening imminent impeachment if the President does not resign or is not removed from office by Vice-President Pence and the cabinet using the 25th Amendment for inciting violence against the Capitol. Is this a realistic reaction to the attack against congress or is the Speaker just sabre rattling as President Trump's Administration gets ready to turn the lights out on January 20th?
There are calls for the President to resign or be removed from office by use of the 25th Amendment or impeached as Democrats, Republicans and Independents place the blame for the siege on the Capitol squarely at his feet. Is that where it belongs? Should the President be allowed to finish his term?

Throughout the last 25 years, Xena: Warrior Princess has impacted so many people in so many different ways. To celebrate this fandom, we’ve brought together some super fans to discuss their experiences with the show. Host Katie Wilson sits down with writer, Emily Jermusyk, entertainment journalist, Chris Harnick, and Xena Cosplayer Jessica Crouse as they share their epic stories from ladies in leather to chakrams sent by Lucy Lawless.
Even though it’s been decades since he was the King of Thieves, Bruce Campbell, says Autolycus will always be part of him. So you better be sure to check his pockets for cinnamon gum when he leaves 7/11. From Hercules to Xena, Bruce talks about his experiences behind the camera and in front of it. Katie and Bruce fangrrl over Lucy and Renee, and play who said it: Xena, Ruby Knowby, or Lucy Lawless.
The 25th anniversary celebration continues with another meaty episode. Did we say meaty, we meant mighty. Joxer the Mighty, that is. Ted Raimi hasn’t talked about Xena: Warrior Princess in nearly a decade, but he is sitting down with host Katie Wilson in what may be one of his final interviews about the show. From remembering his first day on set to his thoughts about his iconic song, Ted talks and spills the tea about his fellow cast-mates over the years. Cook a brisket in the oven while you listen for the full experience.

Join Jim and Greg as they close the week with three very crazy martinis! They begin with the plot to kidnap Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer and Whitmer immediately blaming it all on President Trump. They also hammer Nancy Pelosi for trying to give Congress the power to declare a president medically unfit to stay in office. And they get a kick out of Democrat Cal Cunningham trying to blame his sex scandals on North Carolina Sen. Thom Tillis.
