Hi There! Welcome back to another episode of the Bedtalks Podcast! Are you feeling stuck in the same relationship patterns or feeling like while you excel at most things, relationships remain a gray area? We're talking to Andrea Beach on this episode. And we promise you this episode will leave you with some new, practical, and realistic approaches to your relationship. Andrea Beach is no ordinary woman. She has run over 21 companies and is a leading authority on technology, business, and human behavior. Andrea has advised Fortune 500 companies, mentored various startups, and created engaging activations for some of the world's largest brands.  Her newest venture, Life Unleashed, is helping thousands elevate their lives beyond their wildest dreams. For over twenty years, Andrea's mission has been to deliver proven strategies and tactics for increasing fulfillment. Losing her mom at the young age of 13 left Andrea having to figure things out early on and navigating adulthood and relationships with a bit of a gap. Though Andrea is extremely successful in her business, her lone-wolf approach to success didn't work in her relationships. Since she didn't have any role models of healthy relationships outside of her home, she had to learn by trial and error how to breakdown relationships in an entirely different manner. Andrea breaks down the most common relationship faux pas that keep relationships from thriving. She discusses on the show: What things are manageable vs unmanageable in your relationship The most difficult challenge long-term in a relationship One context that is missing in most relationships but badly needed Cheat codes for the happiest/healthiest relationships How to spot a liar Top 3 secrets to the happiest /healthiest relationships How to take your relationship to the next level, if he's happy with the status quo You can learn more about the amazing work Andrea is doing here. Hi There - Welcome back to another episode of Bedtalks. Please note that while alternative treatments to deal with trauma are discussed on this show, these are the expressed views of our guest. We always recommend meeting with your healthcare provider to determine the optimal treatment for you and your mental health. On this show, we interview someone who had to take a nontraditional journey that wasn't always easy or familiar. Sometimes, the hardest path to take is when you don't know the destination, and the path to get there can feel fuzzy, unclear, and emotionally painful. In our interview with Morgan Englund, a former actor and son of beloved Cloris Leachman, we learn of his journey of rediscovery and connecting to the things that matter the most to him. Morgan discusses his journey as an actor, his desire for emotional connection, navigating Tinseltown, aka Hollywood, and settling into connecting back with himself. Morgan has started a different chapter in his life, and he takes us through what he has learned to heal and start anew. We think you will find this interview eye-opening if you are on a road that feels unclear, you're looking to shift things in your life, or you feel that you have unresolved trauma. You can learn more about Morgan Englund here. Tune in and share this message with someone who might need it. Tímea Reicher is an Executive MBA graduate of the WU Executive Academy of the Vienna University of Economics and Business and University of Minnesota Carlson School of Management (USA). We talk about her career and how learning has always been a key part of her personal and professional development. Tímea has been with SLOVNAFT, part of the MOL group of companies, for over 17 years and in the podcast she describes the various roles she has undertaken in that time. Again, Tímea emphasises the role learning has played in her career advancement, leading to her now being responsible for the company's ever-expanding retail division. Over the past 7 years under her management, the Retail Division has tripled the Petrol chain business's EBITDA to €87 Million. SLOVNAFT Group is an integrated refinery-petrochemical group and Tímea has responsibility for the overall retail operations of the company in Slovakia. The most powerful company is SLOVNAFT, a.s. dealing mainly with refining in one of the most complex European refineries and with the wholesale, logistics and retail sale of motor fuels and non-fuel products. Other members of the Group are SLOVNAFT MONTÁŽE A OPRAVY a.s., SLOVNAFT TRANS a.s., VÚRUP, a.s., CM European Power Slovakia, s.r.o. and other companies.  SLOVNAFT Group is one of the biggest investors in Slovakia. Its cumulative capital expenditure has amounted to nearly EUR 2 billion, on average, approx. EUR 120 million per year since the mid-1990's. SLOVNAFT operates the largest network of petrol/diesel filling stations in Slovakia. The company is a leader in Slovakia in the field of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and corporate philanthropy, and the company significantly supports sport, culture, education, youth and the revitalizing of the environment. Through their visionary mindset, Mol Group Retail and local countries have created a concept of the Fresh Corner Convenience store format which, apart from 272 Service Stations in Slovakia, is now operating in 9 countries throughout the Central and East European (CEE) region. One of the key strategic directions besides maintaining SLOVNAFT's strong position in fuel retailing, has been to transform the retail network into multi-purpose service stations and to shift from product-driven, to customer-driven operations. Therefore Tímea and her team introduced the aforementioned successful new retail concept Fresh Corner, SLOVNAFT's convenience brand encompassing top quality coffee, fresh food and everyday groceries and Fresh Corner restaurants. Tímea also talks about her experiences of travelling abroad for work and study and the benefits these can bring. We discuss language learning, including the importance of learning English for international communications and the persistent challenges for women in leadership positions, including her innovative solution to childcare issues! The general aim of the podcast series is to be entertaining for all listeners, as well as being educational, assisting upper-intermediate and advanced level English language students with additional listening practice. In this podcast, Karina talks about: Her childhood and how it shaped her understanding of relationships and how she had to recondition her perspective on healthy relationships Why she didn't realize the love of her life at first and how being in a toxic relationship almost kept her from a healthy one How her husband taught her about the power of dreams and manifesting them How co-parenting requires a heart posture and how being a child of divorced parents taught her what she would do differently as a step-parent And we promise to touch on "Dreams and Nightmares by Meek Mill" and the significance of it in Karina's life Listen in; you won't be disappointed! Hello Everyone, I started recording this episode over a month ago, and I couldn't finish it. Not because I didn't want to, but because I was carrying so much shame about the subject matter that I couldn't sit down to finish recording. I was carrying the shame that I have this platform but that I had something in my life tied to my BPD management journey that was not "in control". I carried shame that I wasn't perfect, that I was a fraud. I thought I could tackle this alone, and today I realized that I can't anymore. You will notice a difference in the recording where I pop in over a month later from when I initially pressed play and I chat about where I am at today (time of recording and uploading). Eating disorders are extremely serious and should be (need to be) addressed and monitored by trained medical professionals. It was so hard for me to make those calls to my psychiatrist, therapist, GP, and friend today. But it needed to be done. I need help. And there is no shame in admitting that. Borderline and Back: Hope, Management and Resilience for Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD)

A subscriber to the show (Ainsley) requested an episode about beginner-friendly advice/tips for someone who has been recently diagnosed. What a brilliant idea for an episode, I am kind of disappointed in myself for not thinking of this first!! I released this for early subscriber access back in July and wanted to share it out now for the rest of you. Sorry for the muffled audio - I am sorting out how to have better audio on video uploads, something that I plan to make exclusive for subscribers (as well as exclusive/early episode releases). Tips! * google isn't always your friend, Reddit is terrifying, a lot of stigmatizing content is out there * make sure you take care of your physical health and safety first, that means getting help for any kind of eating disorder, self harm activity, making those dreaded doctors and dentist appointments. Physical health is a major part of mental health and vice-versa * be selective about the content you choose to consume - social media etc * start small! Management isn't a sprint, it is a marathon. It is tempting to want to throw yourself into it but that will lead to burn out - trust me * be kind to, and forgive yourself first. learn to love yourself unconditionally, to be able to care for yourself (aka little you, your inner child with needs) to release the need for other people to ground us emotionally Thanks to each of you for supporting this podcast, I appreciate you all so much. Borderline and Back: Hope, Management and Resilience for Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD)

I am burnt out! I can say that without shame - well mostly. I had been beating myself up about it, feeling guilty - like I shouldn't be feeling this way as an adult. That this meant I was less of an adult somehow (ridiculous I know). But today while I was in a state of dissociation/derealization I received an email from a listener and it reminded me of what I tell each of you who tune in at the end of every episode - a reminder to give myself some grace, I am doing better than I think I am. In this episode, I reflect on burnout, and the physiological and psychological impacts it has on me. Recognizing how I got here, I talk about the shame and guilt (yes it was worth mentioning twice in the show notes) and my intentions for myself to snap out of this burnout.
