Bir hadiste konuyla ilgili şu ifadeler geçer: “Âde-moğlu sabahlayınca onun tüm organları diline şöyle der: Hakkımızda Allâh'tan kork. Çünkü biz sana tabiyiz. Sen doğru olursan hepimiz kurtuluruz. Sende eğrilik oluşursa biz de öyle oluruz.” Bir diğer rivayete göre ise Allâh Resulü (s.a.v.) şöyle demiştir: “Kıyamet gününde en çok konuşan, en büyük günâh-kâr olarak Allâh'ın huzuruna çıkar.”Hz. Ali (r.a.)'den şöyle rivayet edilmiştir: “Susmak, insanı cennete götürür.” Allâh Resulü (s.a.v.) konuyla ilgili Taberânî'den na-kille şöyle rivayet etmiştir: “Âdemoğlunun günâhlarının çoğu diliyle gerçekleşir.”Dilin vereceği sıkıntılardan kurtulmanın tek bir ilacı vardır ki o da susmayı öğrenmektir. Peygamber (s.a.v.) Efendimiz “Kim susarsa kurtulur” (Tirmizî) buyurmaktadır. Episode 249: When “revenge travel” brought guests roaring back to Four Seasons Hotels, they capped occupancy, turning away guests and revenue. Scott Taber, senior vice president of global hospitality, describes the Four Seasons philosophy: No points, no perks. Just great properties, individual recognition, personal service, and an emphasis on making sure the first five minutes after check-in are spectacular. That belief was put to the test when the world started traveling again and labor gaps persisted at the end of the pandemic. The company had a choice: chase revenue or protect intimacy. It chose intimacy. To avoid overextending staff and diluting the experience, Four Seasons capped occupancy. The organization focused on preserving what Scott calls the “first five”: those opening minutes that define a guest's stay. “People want to see your eyes and your teeth,” he says. They want to be recognized, not processed. That doesn't mean resisting tech. Four Seasons embraced tools that support connection: a CRM “golden record” surfaces each guest's preferences so staff can deliver personal touches at scale. They also rolled out a proprietary 11-platform chat tool that helps staff resolve 80% of requests within 90 seconds. Last year, they set an NPS record.  Culture provides the foundation for the organization's enduring success. Recruiting favors empathy, veterans mentor newcomers, and managers celebrate tiny moments of recognition as fiercely as revenue. Taber Mongero is a former collegiate baseball player known for his exceptional defensive skills and high baseball IQ. He played shortstop at the University of North Carolina at Wilmington (UNCW), where he contributed significantly to the team with his consistent glove work, leadership, and ability to make high-pressure plays. He comes from a family deeply rooted in baseball, Taber was coached and mentored by his father and former podcast guest, Coach Trent Mongero, a well-respected figure in the baseball community and an expert in teaching infield play.Taber has since transitioned from playing to the Director of Player Development for UNCW where he mentors young athletes by sharing his knowledge and passion for the game while upholding the values of hard work, discipline, sportsmanship and mental toughness.

The Artists Index is an AHA! partner and this is the sixth in our series of livestream podcasts. The November AHA! was our second impromptu evening and open mic invitation to the South Coast's poets to help celebrate with us on Thursday, November 14th, from 6 to 7:30 pm. Once again, our livestream podcast was co-hosted by our livestream partner and friend Adam Katz, the owner of Play Arcade. Our November AHA! Guests who joined us (Max Wikermayer and Ron Fortier) in the bar area at Play Arcade included Kate Frazer Rego. She was our podcast guest on Episode 83 and Episode 147. Kate also read a couple of her poems. It was the first live poetry reading on our AHA! podcasts! We also had an impromptu and very refreshing visit from Taber Academy students Ryan O'Donald and Hudson Flynn, who told us about their experiences in pottery class at Taber. These articulate young men encouraged two of their fellow students, Blake Appleton and Matty Levesque to join us. Their art instructors, Tricia Smith and Leslie Brannigan,  joined in soon after. They offered their views on the local art scene, the Taber art curricula and the importance of the phenomenal creative community of New Bedford and the South Coast. Once again, it was loud and noisy with all the arcade games but we still had great conversation. Play Arcade is "an old-school 80's style arcade offering a full-service bar, craft-made drinks, and food..." and over 40 vintage arcade games and a rooftop deck overlooking the working waterfront in the New Bedford Whaling National Historical Park. AHA! (Arts, History, Architecture) has presented New Bedford and the South Coast with free arts and culture nights. It celebrated its 25th anniversary this September! AHA! Nights are held every second Thursday of the month to recall and honor the nostalgic late shopping night offered in New Bedford from the 1940s through the 1960s. This revival has brought a new and lasting vibrancy to downtown.
