Hello geeks! It's time to talk about the big wheels that are seemingly beginning to gain speed. As reported by Josh Weinberg, it sure seems many are looking at 32 in wheels, but it's still early days as to whether we'll see history repeat itself.Within you'll also find a new segment where Dave puts the call out to brands to produce a product that he feels is lacking in the market. You'll also hear Josh, Zach, and Dave discuss some of the more interesting products from the BeSpoked show. The episode wraps with our usual Ask a Wrench segment. Here you'll hear the geeks chat Schwalbe Clik Valves, thoughts on inner tubes for road, and a little more about Campagnolo inner cables. As a reminder, you'll need to be a member of Escape Collective (go here) in order to access this popular segment of the podcast. Members can submit new questions here.Love tech? We've had a handful of other tech-related podcasts this week, including a chat Ronan Mc Laughlin and Dave Rome had about things to consider if buying a new aero road bike (find it in the Performance Process channel). Plus, Josh Weinberg caught up with Lachlan Morton about upcoming events and the tech decisions.Time stamps:2:00 - 32 in wheels are the next big thing20:50 - ReTyre continues to expand its eco-friendly tyre operation23:45 - Industry Wish list: Better headsets for a specific application29:30 - A quick tech chat with Lachlan Morton39:20 - Hunt's new Aerodynamicist Carbon Disc road wheels41:00 - Bespoked things42:00 Garbaruk's prototype electronic rear derailleur50:00 - KOM Xeno Infinity hub52:20 - Antidote comes to gravel with the Path Seeker59:30 - Ask a Wrench (Member-feed exclusive)1:01:00 - The best inner tubes for road (member-only)1:04:30 - Early thoughts on Schwalbe Clik Valves (member-only)1:10:00 - More on Campagnolo mechanical cables (member-only)

Welcome back to Geek Warning. In this episode, Dave and Ronan talk through a bunch of the biggest tech news in the cycling world and cover a few test products at the top of their minds. It's hard to find a new racing product today that doesn't at least tease the “aero” word, however, TuboLight may just be the first to make such a claim for a product that goes inside the tyre. The recently seen shoe and pedal system from Ekoi caught unwanted attention from the UCI, but them's the rules. One that is UCI-certified for racing is Ridley's new X-Night RS cyclocross machine.SRAM has officially issued a recall related to all aftermarket 12-speed dropbar levers, but the fix is one you can likely do yourself. Another you could probably do yourself is convert an existing Specialized Crux or Roubaix to run SRAM's 1x Transmission (typically requires a UDH-frame); it's a new product offered by 5Dev.The conversation then turns to the weirdly named premium thermal skinsuit that Ronan is testing from Q36.5. And Dave has a little rant related to the new Trek Domane AL just reviewed. All that, and more, on this week's Geek Warning.Timestamps:3:55 - Tubolite gets aero, inside the tyre11:35 - Ekoi pedals and UCI rulings21:08 - Ridley's new X-Night RS, aero(ish) meets cyclocross28:49 - A DIY recall related to SRAM's brake lever33:07 - 5Dev's adapter to install SRAM Transmission on a Specialized Crux or Roubaix.36:53 - Ronan is testing a £808 thermal skinsuit from Q36.543:05 - What Dave is testing and a rant on entry-level bikes53:35 - A PSA related to dropbar levers, and another related to crockpots58:30 - A quick wrap of other news, including Amer Sports, Curve's carbon Walmer handlebar, and BeSpoked to be held in Manchester.

Imagine going out for a bike ride in the forest. The fresh air, the silence, the anxiety. Thats right, anxiety because you are not sure when you get back into phone signal if there will be messages that your town has been bombed. Thats exactly the sort of thing todays guests are dealing with.  We first encountered the Ukrainian bike-packing bag company 7 Roads bags at the recent Bespoked bike show where there were being represented by a customer of theirs, Artem. After speaking to Artem and hearing the 7 Roads story we knew we wanted to hear more and more importantly we knew we wanted to HELP more. So please take the time to listen to the stories of Elena, Stanislav and Artem and perhaps see if there is a way that you can help make it s slightly happier Ukrainian Christmas. A good place to start would be by supporting some of the great Ukrainian companies listed below!  https://www.instagram.com/7r_bags https://7rbags.com/   https://www.instagram.com/fablebag https://www.instagram.com/kzrz_limited https://www.instagram.com/liteway.equipment https://www.instagram.com/mr.catwheel https://www.instagram.com/kindred.uniform https://www.instagram.com/tserkovnij/ https://www.instagram.com/wanderwood.com.ua https://www.instagram.com/ellenrococo https://www.instagram.com/anna.lisova.jeweller https://www.instagram.com/leonchenko.store
